That cartoon is more disinfo.

The Federal debt is $18 trillion.

The TOTAL debt (Fed, State, Corp., Consumer, Municipal, etc.) is $59 TRILLION.

See the Z.1 Flow of Funds Report.

The total debt is the issue not the Fed Debt.

While 59T is a fucktone more than 18T, I gotta pull a Hillary on ya here:

"What difference does it make?"

Do you really think the person who drew or posted this is trying to convince you that the debt is lower than it is?

Does the meaning of the cartoon change with 59T vs. 18T? Can we pay either back (like we should, it was all printed)? Both "anchor" that baby's future unless we default on it and free the kid up.

I don't mean to be offensive. I would have said, "It is even worse than the cartoonist thinks, it is actually 59T." Then I would post the link.

I am not your down vote.

You consider 59T a massive debt? Wait until the debt number has 59 trillion trailing zeros. That's a massive debt.

I'd be interested in seeing the reasoning which tied the size of the debt to a "stagnant" economy.  The amount of the debt is pushing interest rates up thus inhibiting borrowing?  Surely that's not it with rates so low.  The debt is so large that it attracts lendable funds and discourages lending?  Seems unlikely as banks are actively seeking borrowers.

So, what's the mechanism that causes the debt to slow the US economy?

That one's easy: There has been no increase in wages for american workers.

I own a business.  Let's not forget the staggering fact the US Government forces itself upon me as my silent partner and demands more than 40% of my profits as protection money.  Don't pay it and they come looking for me.  Resist being put into a cage and they kill me.

You're angry about your lack of a raise?  How about being put into a rape prison or killed because you are successful, have created something from nothing, hire people, utilize goods and services from the local economy, and (used to) be a part of making America great.

The general population has been brainwashed to hate me for my earned success and the positive things my efforts have brought to the economy.  OK, good then.  A million small business owners such as myself have basically gone Galt.  Do the minimum to get by, refuse to expand.  F&ck it.

There will be no recovery.  And many of you deserve what is coming down the pike.

As Hitler said " "We have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down."  It's coming down.

The good news is I am stocked up on booze and popcorn.  This is going to be epic and I'd be amiss if I didn't say I will enjoy watching at least a tiny bit.

Nope. You are incorrect.

Sad to say, when you manufacture stuff it is 40%.  The big boys, well they have plenty of loop holes.  Us smaller fry, less than a million in sales, it is definately 40% and no getting around it.

The perception is that business owners are raking it in.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  It's the huge corporations.  The so called mom and pops, the real 1-percent (as opposed to the .01%) are the backbone of the economy and are being destroyed.  Look at the statistics: obvious and in plain sight.

As goes small business, so goes the country.

Good luck!

As a manufacturer myself, I concur with you a 1000%. Back in the 1990s, I had 22 high-paid employees and sought continual growth. However, year-after-year of increasing regulatory BS and ridiculous taxation made me reconsider what "success" meant. As a result, I decided to cut-back and simply "tread water" for the rest of my business career. Now, I have just three employees, a modest income, and I am happy not to "contribute" so much to the government only to see them piss it away on folks who hate me for working so damn hard and being independent in the first place.

Good luck, indeed.

Governments stole (still steal) money with the promise to give it back later.

If you paid in, it seems only right that you should get paid out.

It's the parasites that produce nothing that are the problem.

Trouble is there's a lot of 'em - Government, Banks, Mega-corporations with lobbyists bribing the pols and then the least important, in terms of numbers, the FSA.

Bankers, Politicians, bureaucrats and a lot of CEOs produce dick, but get very high pay and wonderful retirement packages.

I just recently had a great Kalifonia experience. I rented a little cabin to a Mexican guy who worked locally and was recommended by the local businesses around here. The cabin was an old hippie cabin but I put in all new fixtures, appliances etc. The cabin was about 40 years old and built by an old hippy so it wasn’t' much, all of 500 sq ft. He proceeded to bring his girlfriend, her 8 year old son and then they had 2 more anchor babies. That's 5 people, plus unknown relatives hanging out in this little shack. So fast forward 3 years, add a couple of dogs, chickens on the porch and junk in the yard when I decide to sell it. I give a bunch of notices and it winds up in court. In Kalifornia they have a habitability law which apparently trumps all land owner rights. This guy set me up and trashed my house then brought in a bunch of fake documents along with lying witnesses. The judge decides my place is now worth ZERO and that I should pay the guy back 6 months rent. The story gets better because his lawyer wanted two years back rent, for me to fix the old cabin and to allow him to live there for 6 months rent free. Apparently that is what the law allows in Kalifuckya. It was surreal. I was born here in this state but not sure if I can continue to live here.

Unfortunately for "Vato," he does not understand the very high price that will be extracted from him in the future for this "favor."

Power, tyranny, and Zion are setting up the Latinos as the fall guy for the coming economic collapse. They have, and will, tell Americans that, "It is Juan, the 'illegal,' that stole your job." They will also be made into slaves, "Work for half of what you got last year, or we'll put you in the camps, or deport you."

Yup, there is going to be a high price to be paid, and "Vato" has no idea.

Zion is a scheme, not an ethnicity..

Sun, 08/30/2015 - 03:43 | 6486595 joego1
joego1's picture

It's funny you should mention that because I just had a conversation with my son about the very same thing. The cheap labor is a double edged sword and the sharp edge has yet to come back around. This Mexican who has appropriated my property (no he hasn't left yet and I have to file yet another unlawful detainer suit against him) had his employer send the maintenance guy to lie on the stand about the building. The employer is the one who wants Juan to have cheap subsidised housing and so they decided to frame me over it. The funny thing is it backfired since part of the remedy was to fix the property and allow them to stay another 180 days but the judge said "what's the point the place needs to be rebuilt" so I actually dodged a bullet by having the guy trash the property and then have his boss's minion convince the judge it was hopeless. My next court appearance we get to ask the judge and the tenant why he is allowed to stay in an "uninhabitable" building. Nobody in their right mind would ever rent to this guy again regardless if he won or lost the case. Another sad thing for Vato is the availability of cheaper housing is going away since landlords are becoming more selective about who the rent to.

Sun, 08/30/2015 - 06:00 | 6486697 kchrisc
kchrisc's picture

I hope you also see that slowly but surely the government is taking possession of your property.

They asserted rights to it, and are now slowly having you, in court, ascertain that it doesn't meet "code," is "uninhabitable," etc. Very soon you will start being fined, and then lose the property to the government out of their "concern for public safety," etc.

I hope that you are adding the names of the criminals, the judge, and the rest, involved with this plundering of your property to your CAAPTL list..

Zion is a scheme, not an ethnicity..

CAAPTL:

Every American should be compiling a list, call it the Crimes Against the American People Treason List (CAAPTL). A list of known criminal pols, crats, functionaries (funcs), gun and badge thugs (thugs), and banksters that they are aware of.

Oath violating and Article 3, Section 3, treasonous gun and badge thugs, corrupt pols and crats, thieving banksters, etc. should be placed on it. At a minimum, their names, crimes, and positions, should be kept for future reference for accountability, trial, and punishment--Retribution.

When the DC US that is currently criminally occupying the American county, and oppressing the American people, finally collapses, these lists can then be used to root out the known criminals that will think that they can hide among their victims--no "Truth and Reconciliation," and no quarter.

Your problem highlights a key point, points, and that is property rights, and that courts are supposed to be a substitute for violence.

1) The "law" has been hijacked, and paraphrasing Bastiat, become an "instrument of plunder." The slithers, pols and crats, of California have seen fit to trample upon your property rights so as to buy votes from others with YOUR property.

2) Courts are supposed to provide justice, and enforce contracts, not become venues to invalidate contacts and take, plunder, property. When the courts cease to function in the fore mentioned capacities, people are then forced to turn to violent vigilante like justice. This is prevalent in the drug trade, as the courts are barred to that industry. As such, you should have, may still need to, find a good head buster and put them to work getting you some justice.

Others reading this should take it to heart, and know that they should just skip ahead to the "head busting," as you will not get justice in the so-called courts.

Those that think that violence solves nothing, have never had to fight for anything.

Zion is a scheme, not an ethnicity..

On a related note: A friend of mine rents out three houses. His leases make him a rent paying tenant in conjunction with the lessee--He actually rights a check to his rental company entity each month for rent. Why? Because in most states, the taking of property by a fellow tenant is a civil matter, and not a criminal matter. The victim of such a taking must file a suit in an attempt to get his property back. So, if my friend does not get paid rent, he can, and has, taken the lessee's property from the home, and then told the lessee to sue him--Remember, the lease is with my friend's company, not with him personally.

Doesn't mean that some lawyer and a tool of tyranny judge won't see thru the ruse, but the muddled gray area, and onus for the lessee to bring suit, seems to keep at bay the legal wolves wanting easy prey.

The only way one can be held responsible for a debt that was "passed," signed, and put forth by others, is by way of violence--tyranny. I.e. the FedRes, and "National Debt," are tyranny.

The so-called national debt is the responsibility of those in Congress that voted "aye" for it, the Oval Office puppets that signed it into "law," and the pols and crats that issued it. Additionally, all fiat-debt represents plunder stolen from the American people, so it is the banksters, and their Zionist masters, that owe us, not the other way around--I'll take gold, please.

Going still further, it cannot be called the "National Debt," as there is no provision in the Constitution for the private cabal of banksters, the FedRes, to issue the fiat-currency that underpins the issuance of the fiat-debt in the first place. Sorry grifters.

Zion is a scheme, not an ethcnity..

The debt is Odious.....

In international law, odious debt, also known as illegitimate debt, is a legal theory that holds that the national debt incurred by a regime for purposes that do not serve the best interests of the nation, should not be enforceable. Such debts are, thus, considered by this doctrine to be personal debts of the regime that incurred them and not debts of the state. In some respects, the concept is analogous to the invalidity of contracts signed under coercion.

When did you first hire the lawyer, Ted Olson, to do this for you?

00:05:04 David "Dave" N. Bossie

Golly, well I hired Ted once we were accepted to the Supreme Courts. We - I have known Ted for almost 15 years prior to this. He's a friend of mine. His wife, Barbara, late Barbara Olson, was a dear friend of mine, somebody who was murdered on September 11, was on the plane that left Dulles International Airport and was flown into the Pentagon on that fateful day.

"(FEC) said that unless Citizens United disclosed who was funding the advertisements, it could not air them as they would violate the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act which prohibits corporations from using their own finances to broadcast ads about a candidate 30 days before a primary.

Citizens United sued the FEC. The U.S. District Court ruled in favor of the FEC,

Double agents, espionage, extortion.

It is Opposite Day every day of the year now.  This ruling was made after CU wished to show a film of Hiliary at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce depicting Hiliary as a bad choice. A movie.

"In an interview with Slate magazine, Bossie said it was always his intention to create a situation that would turn into a legal case: "It was 100% calculated toward fighting the FEC."

Cato Institute and the Institute for Justice, two Koch funded groups, filed briefs with the Supreme Court in support of Citizens United."

David Bossie is the President of Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group. Prior to assuming his position with Citizens United in 2000, Bossie worked as a Congressional investigator.

In 1997, Bossie was forced to resign his position of chief investigator of the Whitewater inquiry looking into President Clinton's campaign finances. Bossie was relieved of his duties after it was revealed he edited tapes and transcripts of former U.S. Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell's telephone calls, leaving out key details. The revised material was then published."

[San Francisco Chronicle, 7/23/2004] Ted Olson is in his Justice Department office watching news of the attacks on the World Trade Center on television when his wife calls. A few days later, he will recall: “She told me that she had been herded to the back of the plane. She mentioned that they had used knives and box cutters to hijack the plane. She mentioned that the pilot had announced that the plane had been hijacked.” [CNN, 9/14/2001] He tells her that two planes have hit the WTC. [Daily Telegraph, 3/5/2002] Barbara Olson says she feels nobody is taking charge. What can I tell the pilot to do?” [CNN, 9/14/2001] Then the call is cut off without warning. [Newsweek, 9/29/2001]
Ted Olson's Recollections Vague - Ted Olson’s recollection of the call’s timing will be extremely vague. He will say the call “must have been 9:15 [a.m.] or 9:30 [a.m.]. the baby, the reference to boating

cartoon should be a map of the US with Obama perched on top as a giant tick, wearing pimp gear.

The trade deficit as well ..

Then the process of clawing back some $300 TRILLION .. (those are going to be some handsome refunds checks. And not in FRNs.)

Not at all sure about the Wanta story. I read VT (Veterans Today) but my feeling is that it is controlled opposition-misinformation though most of what they say is likely true. Gordon Duff is to me a far too mysterious person - likely CIA.

Don't give him all the credit..he had plenty of help.

http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/12/the-fiscal-legacy-of-george...

"According to the C.B.O., by the end of the Bush administration, legislated tax cuts reduced revenues and increased the national debt by $1.6 trillion. Slower-than-expected growth further reduced revenues by $1.4 trillion.

... Bush tax cuts continued through 2010, well into the Obama administration. These reduced revenues by another $369 billion, adding that much to the debt. Legislated tax cuts enacted by President Obama and Democrats in Congress reduced revenues by an additional $407 billion in 2009 and 2010. Slower growth reduced revenues by a further $1.3 trillion. Contrary to Republican assertions, there were no additional revenues from legislated tax increases.

"In late 2010, Mr. Obama agreed to extend all the Bush tax cuts for another two years. In 2011, this reduced revenues by $105 billion. Bush administration added $2.4 trillion to deficits and the debt through 2008. This includes $121 billion for Medicare Part D, a new entitlement program enacted by Republicans in 2003.  Economic factors added almost nothing to increased spending – just $27 billion in total."

So-called globalists (erase all possible competition forever more) are working hand in hand to accomplish their goal - funding their globalist fantasy with the treasures of the nation they call home, leaving it and their countrymen high and dry.

But nice try.

Thy debts shall rise until your nation is destroyed.

The rank and file of the DC alphabet soup will not realize the truth until their paychecks are essentially worthless.
