Russian Military Forces Arrive In Syria, Set Forward Operating Base Near Damascus

Tyler Durden's picture

While military direct intervention by US, Turkish, and Gulf forces over Syrian soil escalates with every passing day, even as Islamic State forces capture increasingly more sovereign territory, in the central part of the country, the Nusra Front dominant in the northwestern region province of Idlib and the official "rebel" forces in close proximity to Damascus, the biggest question on everyone's lips has been one: would Putin abandon his protege, Syria's president Assad, to western "liberators" in the process ceding control over Syrian territory which for years had been a Russian national interest as it prevented the passage of regional pipelines from Qatar and Saudi Arabia into Europe, in the process eliminating Gazprom's - and Russia's - influence over the continent.

As recently as a month ago, the surprising answer appeared to be an unexpected "yes", as we described in detail in "The End Draws Near For Syria's Assad As Putin's Patience "Wears Thin." Which would make no sense: why would Putin abdicate a carefully cultivated relationship, one which served both sides (Russia exported weapons, provides military support, and in exchange got a right of first and only refusal on any traversing pipelines through Syria) for years, just to take a gamble on an unknown future when the only aggressor was a jihadist spinoff which had been created as byproduct of US intervention in the region with the specific intention of achieving precisely this outcome: overthrowing Assad (see "Secret Pentagon Report Reveals US "Created" ISIS As A "Tool" To Overthrow Syria's President Assad").

As it turns out, it may all have been just a ruse. Because as Ynet reports, not only has Putin not turned his back on Assad, or Syria, but the Russian reinforcements are well on their way. Reinforcements for what? Why to fight the evil Islamic jihadists from ISIS of course, the same artificially created group of bogeyman that the US, Turkey, and Saudis are all all fighting. In fact, this may be the first world war in which everyone is "fighting" an opponent that everyone knows is a proxy for something else.

According to Ynet, Russian fighter pilots are expected to begin arriving in Syria in the coming days, and will fly their Russian air force fighter jets and attack helicopters against ISIS and rebel-aligned targets within the failing state.

And just like the US and Turkish air forces are supposedly in the region to "eradicate the ISIS threat", there can't be any possible complaints that Russia has also decided to take its fight to the jihadists - even if it is doing so from the territory of what the real goal of US and Turkish intervention is - Syria. After all, it is a free for all against ISIS, right?

From Ynet:

According to Western diplomats, a Russian expeditionary force has already arrived in Syria and set up camp in an Assad-controlled airbase. The base is said to be in area surrounding Damascus, and will serve, for all intents and purposes, as a Russian forward operating base.

In the coming weeks thousands of Russian military personnel are set to touch down in Syria, including advisors, instructors, logistics personnel, technical personnel, members of the aerial protection division, and the pilots who will operate the aircraft.

The Israeli outlet needless adds that while the current makeup of the Russian expeditionary force is still unknown, "there is no doubt that Russian pilots flying combat missions in Syrian skies will definitely change the existing dynamics in the Middle East."

Why certainly: because in one move Putin, who until this moment had been curiously non-commital over Syria's various internal and exteranl wars, just made the one move the puts everyone else in check: with Russian forces in Damascus implicitly supporting and guarding Assad, the western plan instantly falls apart.

It gets better: if what Ynet reports is accurate, Iran's brief tenure as Obama's BFF in the middle east is about to expire:

Western diplomatic sources recently reported that a series of negotiations had been held between the Russians and the Iranians, mainly focusing on ISIS and the threat it poses to the Assad regime. The infamous Iranian Quds Force commander Major General Qasem Soleimani recently visited Moscow in the framework of these talks. As a result the Russians and the Iranians reached a strategic decision: Make any effort necessary to preserve Assad's seat of power, so that Syria may act as a barrier, and prevent the spread of ISIS and Islamist backed militias into the former Soviet Islamic republics.

See: the red herring that is ISIS can be used just as effectively for defensive purposes as for offensive ones. And since the US can't possibly admit the whole situation is one made up farce, it is quite possible that the world will witness its first regional war when everyone is fighting a dummy, proxy enemy which doesn't really exist, when in reality everyone is fighting everyone else!

That said, we look forward to Obama explaining the American people how the US is collaborating with the one mid-east entity that is supporting not only Syria, but now is explicitly backing Putin as well.

It gets better: Ynet adds that "Western diplomatic sources have emphasized that the Obama administration is fully aware of the Russian intent to intervene directly in Syria, but has yet to issue any reaction... The Iranians and the Russians- with the US well aware- have begun the struggle to reequip the Syrian army, which has been left in tatters by the civil war. They intend not only to train Assad's army, but to also equip it. During the entire duration of the civil war, the Russians have consistently sent a weapons supply ship to the Russian held port of Tartus in Syria on a weekly basis. The ships would bring missiles, replacement parts, and different types of ammunition for the Syrian army."

Finally, it appears not only the US military-industrial complex is set to profit from the upcoming war: Russian dockbuilders will also be rewarded:

Arab media outlets have recently published reports that Syria and Russia were looking for an additional port on the Syrian coast, which will serve the Russians in their mission to hasten the pace of the Syrian rearmament.

If all of the above is correct, the situation in the middle-east is set to escalate very rapidly over the next few months, and is likely set to return to the face-off last seen in the summer of 2013 when the US and Russian navies were within earshot of each other, just off the coast of Syria, and only a last minute bungled intervention by Kerry avoided the escalation into all out war. Let's hope Kerry has it in him to make the same mistake twice.

If, and I say IF, Putin's plan is to defeat the insurgents then he has waited far too long.

Syria's military exhausted, the pool of potential recruits has dwindled due to the reality that the insurgents have been winning and Syria's army is not directy supported.

Now it would take a major push by Putin to accomplish this task, including first rate ground forces that are fully equiped with heavy weapons.  Not sure where he finds that.  Or maybe he plans to keep a small part of Syria and let the rest go.

Ah, the old checkers versus chess canard...

You're right, the US does have some expreience with chess too.

Major embarrassment for "Ivan" (Cold War coot language)...sure, sure grandpa. Cause all Russia does is do things to embarrass itself. After Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq the USSA has cornered the market on fucking up large and looking like lying, murdering rapists, like the nigger army that they are.

Guess from your babbling that you are a supporter of Obama's sons - the headchoppers and criminal filth posing as liberators in the Levant - israeli and CIA backed terrorist skumbags of the lowest sort. Hey if you support the US mil you might as well support these lowlives too, eh?

It will be nice to get our hands on actual working models of anything Russia dares to deploy in support of a crumbling regime. ISIS will end up towing them behind their Humvees as they enter the city with the inhabitants kneeling in submission before them and Russians walking in chains at the back of the procession.

After, man appears to still not learn and a comet or huge asteroid hits the earth. Then man evolves past classic death. READ IT for yourself, don't just listen to me. The numbers I mentioned are specific, not 'symbolic'.

All the armies of the world will assemble on the plains of Armageddon. One-by-one, they appear right before the unseeing eyes of virtually everyone reading this. One corrupt old Arab regime at a time (Syria next) falls before the inexplicable power and success of ISIS, which is creating the most key element necessary for Revelation to proceed-- a united Arab world which will fall under the leadership of You-Know-Who and then move to battle with an Israel which stands alone and apparently doomed to fall.

Oh, I don't need an admonition from you to READ IT.

WE ARE LIVING IT.

WE ARE WITNESSING IT.

But most people do not see and do not hear, yet the storm draws near regardless.

Russian Foreign Minister called the Saudis a bunch of f'ing idiots. He was right. Let's see how those Islammo-towel heads react now to a Russian-Iranian-Syrian axis in the Middle East.

Of course, Putin could make the Shoddy's an offer they can't refuse - dump the petro-dollar and join the Eastern NWO or else we'll further solidify an anti-US, anti-Saudi axis in the Middle East, and let ISIS loose in your own back yard.

Yet again Russia is the power that crosses the Rubicon - in these regional / geopolitical games of power and influence, the West hasn't a clue, and can only play checkers.

Just watch the Russians continue to gather global power and influence around themselves as they make moves on US interests. China - are you watching? Get onboard the Putin Express!

... depose of Syria's president Assad, who for years has stood in the way of a critical Qatari natural gas pipeline, one which could dethrone Russia as Europe's dominant - and belligerent - source of energy, reaching an interim climax with the unsuccessful Mediterranean Sea military build up of 2013, which nearly resulted in quasi-world war. ...

Firstly; your Qatari conspiracy theory is rubbish Tyler, there's no such thing and no hint of any thing, a figment of the imagination. They could have got bulk gas to Europe without doing anything in Syria to get it there, so complete nonsense. You need to get a reasoned basis for you position and assumptions, because you don't have one.

Second; if the US wants to stop Russian air force intervention it can, easily, they've had F-22A operating in the area of Syria and Iraq for ages, in case anyone shot at their aircraft (i.e. Assad).

Third; I think Israel will probably eliminate them, it is close to going to town on Assad and Hezbollah already, check these:

http://defense-update.com/20141124_fatah110.html
http://defense-update.com/tag/hezbollah

Fourth; The Russians will have to bring a decent heavy SAM network, and a whole lot of heavy missiles, just to survive there let alone be effective, either in the air or on the ground if Washington or Israel decides they won't. And frankly, if the Israelis decide to attack I don't think the Russians jets or SAMs are going to survive too long. If Crimea is Russia's doorstep, Damascus is 60 miles away from Israel. And consider this:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-07-03/egypt-edge-full-blown-civil-war...

So the kikes have been getting ready for something like this for most of the year, and given what Iran's doing with Hezbollah and the fact that Assad is so weak, my guess is the first 'reaction' the Russians may get is burning jets. Nuttyhooey is not going to allow Assad to be rescued now, especially by Russian Air Force to operate on their 'doorstep', or for Iran to maintain its strategic linkage to Lebanon.

And Putin is going to have a hard time deterring Israel with the nuclear stick chest-beating routine, I don't think they will care what Putin says as they can eliminate Moscow if he doesn't keep his trap shut in that area.

That said, they are Assad's Allies so it is to be expected they would do this (hence the F-22A presence) because they want to re-establish Assads's territorial Sovereignty, which is difficult when Western air forces operate over much of it.  Australia decided last week it is going to operate over Syria and bomb ISIS as well (not just over Iraq, as up to now), and yesterday Julie Bishop urged EU countries to get busy bombing ISIS too, if they want the Refugee flow to stop.

http://www.iran-daily.com/News/125800.html

My reading of that is Western intelligence knew this was coming, weeks ago, hence why they are getting more involved over Syria, so none of them will be stopping because Russian air force jets show up.

If the Russians use SAMs or fighters on western jets it will be on for sure.

I wonder if it ever occured to any of these masterminds that bombing is causing the fucking refuguees, not preventing it? It's like in the news they always vaugely talk about "African" migrants, never actually telling where the people are actually coming from. Why? Because if they did, some of the fucksticks might put 2 + 2 together and realize that the overthrow of Lybia is the cause of 90% of them (and the other 10% can be traced back to other undeclared "war on terror" conflicts).

You think we'd launch nukes to counter a Russian nuke strike on Tel Aviv? I doubt it and the jews know it. They won't be smoking any Russian weaponry any time soon. You're watching the end of israel.

Excuse me? The Jews have their own nukes and delivery systems that can easily reach Moscow's radius. One low-yield upper atmosphere EMP east of Moscow and Russia is screwed. And if you use EMP their lovely expensive SAM network will transform into a SAM notwork. Then Moscow is wide open to whatever comes. So it would be very dumb for Russia to threaten Israel, as the threat is just as real and valid the other way around. If Moscow hasn't figured that out yet, Putin and the Russian military aren't too bright.

Israel is certainly in for a war and a lot of misery soon (much of it self-inflicted blowback a long time coming). The 'end', I seriously doubt it.

Dream on clown, Russia has no mid-course interceptor capability.

And even the USA, who actually does have a limited mid-course intercept capability, says they will not be effective against a concerted attack by a determined sophisticated attacker.

And the range of Russia's S500 and its spotty coverage at 500 km altitude (it doesn't happen everywhere you know, just around the zenith) is far less than the oblique altitude needed to intercept an incoming IRBM. i.e., it will explode in the upper ionosphere before an S500 system interceptor can get near it.

In fact the kikes can just explode an RV every 50 km on the way in to their actual aim point and desired altitude to make sure every S-500 is out of commission and blinded, and for the E3 pulse to assuredly reach full ionospheric saturation over the largest area.

It would be the end of Russia kiddo.

Now you don't like it, but that's too bad, as that's how it really is. And they will have spent all the years since the Russian threats of 1973, working out exactly how to eliminate Russia and destroy Moscow - quickly. So deal with it.

Plus Israel also has modern subs, and one way or another they would take Russia out.

When NATO talks about missile shield it's not actually Iran they're concerned with intercepting, that's a cover, and up until recently they were not that concerned about Russia either. The NATO Shield exists and is required due to the possibility of a fundie coop and surprise missile attack coming from Pakistan. They wanted it in place before Pakistan had the capability to pull it off. It's highly doubtful Russia could stop a concerted Pakistani attack on Russia.

So no matter what Putin said, NATO was always going to build it, anyway. And that was the real nature of their diplomatic intransigence on the topic.

Oh touchy touchy, I thought you were going to cry there. The vast majority of Russia is uninhabited, so time zones are irrelevant, and I remember when catching a train to Siberia from Moscow as a monumental achievement, and it wasn't too long ago. For the most part the country is primitive, sparse, and way too cold most of the year, with shitty agriculture. People go to the Black sea for holidays for a reason, the interior is a cold austere miserable place, so people get pissed a lot, a real lot. At least with Boris Yeltsin there was no act, you saw a real Russian! Putin is all feather duster in comparison. But if he feels like making threats he'll find very few people are impressed with his bluster anymore. His credibility is in the basement. At least you could respect Boris for getting so completely pissed yet could still get up on a tank and stand erect and rant like he meant shit, and stopped a coup and civil war in its tracks. Not many people on earth could have pulled that off by non-verbal drunken grimace power alone!

Hal Lindsey mentioned in his one-hour tape, 'Apocalypse' I think it was , that Turkey would side with Russia when it all went down.   I thought he was an idiot, 'cause Turkey is part of Nato.

Lately, though, there's been a lot of talk of Turkey leaving Nato, muslims taking over, and civil unrest there.

It's amazing to me how well this whole thing seems to be pre-scripted, or at least, foretold, if you will.

Israel does have the capability of attacking Russia to a small extent with conventional weapons. Now to invade & hold Russian territory , of course is out of the question ! What is most probable however in the event of war between these countries . The nuclear arsenals of both countries would be used & what happens after that ? Not sure but it WILL be extremely bad for the world !!!

The best possible outcome for those of us hoping for world peace is that defence finally cycles back into dominance over offence.  History has many such cycles throughout history.

We can only hope that Iran, Russia and everyone else can develop & deploy anti-air weaponry enough to deter and destroy US/Israeli jets, and anti-missile systems to deter threats from the same aggressors.  We've had 70 years of offensive dominance and that has worked in the favor of the statists.

Wise. It makes little sense to try and operate frontline Russian Air Force fighters in Syria, they will lose them, and that would make Putin look like an ineffective fool. So probably not going to happen. Training the Syrian airforce and providing trainer aircraft and maybe some Su25s for combat support, that's fairly likely I'd say. But the rest of it, of expanded support for Assad by training and bolstering his military force, by Russia and Iran is likely to be true.

At the moment the Russians maintain a fleet of ten ships on rotation in the med, and Tartus is critical to that presence. No Assad equates to not much Russian presence in the med.

http://defense-update.com/20150723_russian_mediterranean_squadron.html

Which means it's more likely Israel would counter intervene, if Russia intervenes.

It prophesied hundreds of events hundreds of years before they came to be, and there are very few prophecies yet to be fulfilled before Christ returns to mete out judgment.

Prepare to meet your maker, repent, and put your faith in Jesus Christ before that day comes like a thief.

Like most Protestants you don't have a clue about the meaning of Holy Scripture. The people who occupy the Holy Land today are not the Israel chosen by God. They are descendants of the Pharisees, who were decisively rejected by God. If you want to know who the People of God are now and who they have been for 2000 years then look no further than the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is the faithful remnant of Israel, the People of God who remained faithful to God and accepted Jesus as the Christ. It is this Israel, not the political entity called Israel in the Middle East today, which is the Israel that will be a stumbling block to the nations. They will all band together to bring it down and they will all fail.

I am sick and tired of Zionist Protestants, particularly American Protestants, misinterpreting Scripture for the benefit of the fake Israel. They mock Papal Infallibility yet every single one of them is an infallible Pope unto himself.

The Israel you are so keen to protect is not the Israel of God. Therefore it is not in any way specially protected by God. That will come as a huge shock to you gullible, stupid Protestant morons when you see its utter destruction before your very eyes, something that will happen in our lifetime.

You're almost correct.

The Israel of God is made up of all who repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.

It doesn't matter what denomination one professes, or not- Christ sees the heart, not the label.

There are Catholics and Protestants and non-denominationals who will be gifted eternal life with our Lord, and there are some who won't because they put faith in their denomination rather than in Christ.

Really? And when were you declared infallible?

Funny, isn't it, how you Protestants got rid of Papal Infallibility only to multiply it a billion-fold among yourselves, each of you a mini-Pope making pronouncements about the Faith and what it requires and what it doesn't require.

Protestantism and Puritanism have always been America's biggest problem. Exceptionalism can be traced right back to those early founders arriving from England. The fake-Jews found their greatest allies in these fools who had and still have no idea how to interpret Scripture.

That's why the return of the Mexican to North America is a good thing. I for one am delighted to see it happening. Fake-Israel will cease to have a friend in the US as soon as the Hispanics, Italians and Irish make up the majority.

All from the same place- Pagan religion, not the Bible- that's where!

1) Petrine infallibility comes from none other than Jesus Christ. Cephas = Rock. The Bible. Check it out.

2) Mary prophesied that all generations would call her blessed. The Bible. Check it out.

3) Rosary beads are a form of Biblical prayer, consisting of the Our Father and Ave, both of which are Biblical prayers. The Bible. Check it out.

4) Hail Marys come from Luke's Gospel, which is in the Bible. Check it out.

5) The teaching on celibate priests comes from none other than the mouth of Christ himself, who told his Apostles they had to leave everything if they wanted to be his disciples. It's in the Bible. Check it out some time.

6) Most "paedophile priests" were actually ephebophile priests - homosexual men attracted to teenage boys. There are over 400,000 Catholic priests in the world today. How many of them are currently before the courts on charges of sexual molestation? 100? 1000? It should be all over the media if it's higher than that, shouldn't it? So why don't you go off and take a quick look at all the English-language dailies in Mexico, Brazil, the Phillipines, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Poland, and report back when you've found all the stories about priest abusers?

Protestants - once idiots, always idiots.

1) Peter/Cephas was not infallible- he betrayed Christ 3 times before a rooster crowed. Many more reasons here: http://www.bible.ca/catholic-infallibility.htm
2) the Bible records thousands of individuals being blessed, including Adam and Eve, Noah, the poor- but that doesn't mean we should worship them: https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?search=Blessed&version=NIV&sea...
3) Rosary beads are never mentioned in the Bible- they are of pagan origin: http://www.bible.ca/cath-overview-false-teaching.htm

4) Hail Marys are a form of Mother goddess, queen of heaven worship, which is condemned in the Bible: https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=Queen+of+heaven&qs...

Thousands of people were favored (blessed, see above) and had the Lord with them in the Bible, not just Mary: http://biblehub.com/luke/1-28.htm, http://www.eaec.org/cults/romancatholic.htm

5) there is no requirement to be celibate- it is a gift, yes: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%207:1-8, But it is not a requirement to serve as a Christian leader: http://biblehub.com/1_timothy/3-2.htm

6) the Catholic Church is not the only one that has pedophiles, for sure. But the shear numbers of coverups and transfers to other dioceses so they can continue their abominable behavior is off the charts. Probably due to the unscriptural celibacy teaching espoused by the followers of Constantine ( not Christ).

Catholics and Protestants are both guilty of many unscriptural teachings, but Protestants less so.

For the record- I am neither.

I am a non-denominational Christian who studies God's word, the Bible- that is the path to true Christianity, to becoming an actual mature Christian.

PS- very "christian" of you, calling other Christians "idiots." Matthew 12:36

Really the best all around chess move possible. Putin even pushed the time clock to the limit. And called the move out to Obama with a heads up too. That has a certain sense of style and eliminates the risk of it being seen as an offensive move. Obama administration is fully aware of the Russian intent to intervene directly in Syria Unfortunately I'm sure quite a few civilians are getting killed in this mess.

The potential for risk here is what degree of escalation will be used to counter this move to obtain the primary objective in that region. It will likely be escalated very high. So as if we all don't have enough problems globally with maintaining some semblance of balance financially in the planned collapse we now have a potentially volatile global military situation to go along with the planned escalation to the next global war.

All of these risks and those plans can be eliminated and success achieved for everyone if certain global interests would realize they aren't going to succeed on the current path and plan. And the longer they delay coming to that realization the greater the chances are of failure of replacing it with a new plan for everyone in the same planned time frame.

The neocon moron does not understand free trade, comparative advantage aka Adam Smith.

Russia trades oil and gas with Europe.  Russia then uses that money to buy goods from Europe.  This is called free trade.  Over the long term, assuming no zoligarcahs are looting Russia, European and Russisn people get wealthier from this free trade because it creates jobs.

This is economics 101.  It was going well for both sides.  Russia was charging a fair price.  Well the ZioCons like Nudelman, Kagan, Haim Saban, Zuckerberg, Katzenberg and Soros aka Gryogory Schwartz want it all and want Putin out so they can go back to looting Russia and the Ukraine.  Enslaving the Russian people.

The technology is young and European experience new. Prices will be coming down. And there are always subsidies. A switch from wind and solar would probably supply the funds. Moves in that direction (ending wind and solar subsidies) are already being made.

The fracking was supposed to take place in eastern Ukraine, which is why the US is so desperate for its proxies to recapture the Donbass area. Immediately after Yakunovych's overthrow the frackers descended on the area and it was only the stiff resistance of the rebels that forced them to abandon their plans and leave a huge amount otheir equipment behind.

Chevron, which owns Feinstein, Boxer and many others, pulled their $10 billion investment in Ukraine fracking very quickly.

The boys of Donbass and Lughansk are miners and they know the mega corporations want to steal everything.  they will not be pushed around or beaten.  They are tough tough bastards.

The West has no defense against Russia's electromagnetic warfare capabilities.  They can not establish a no-fly zone against the Russians.  To the contrary, if the Russians decided to they could establish a no-fly zone of their own that the US and its allies could not penetrate.

Good move, Mr. Putin.  You have left the West and its ~Arab vassal states a clear choice - forget your desires to rid Syria of Assad, or attack him at your own risk.

Hopefully this will now give the a$$ licking Australian Govt the incentive NOT to join the criminal USA in action in Syria. Certainly hope so !

I have no idea why your government always sucks the ass of the USA Ziocons. The Aussies I have met seem like reasonable people and you have that rugged individualistic heritage like America does. Sad that both nations have to go down the same path.

American Pierre Sprey who worked with Colonel Boyd on the F-15, F-16 and A-10 has said the F-35 is junk.  he also said the F-22 is very fragile and can be taken down with a .22 round.  Also he has said that stealth is bullshit and it always was BS.  Sprey said the USA would not put either the F-35 or F-22 over a combat zone because they are so fragile and expensive to replace.

I am thinking if Russia really has some localized EMP or localized hardware reboot on their planes or ground radar systems then the F-22 would fall out o fthe sky like a rock.  If they really shut down a US Navy Aegis radar based ship like the USS Cook then shutting down a plane is possible.

Sept 2013 when the US Navy had 4 ships with Tomahawks ready for Syria and at least 5 to 6 Russian ships off the coast of Syria - someone in the Pentagram and most of the Joint Chiefs had second thoughts.  they told Obola and his puppet masters to back off on a Saturday at the White Hut.

Stealth only works against high frequency (X band etc) radar. Russia specializes in low frequency radar where stealth technologies do not work.

+100

Absolutely crazy.  Like the old B-58 Hustler which was a cool plane or the C-5A.  Probably 10 hours of maint versus 1 or 2 hours of flight.

The funniest thing is the US Air Force and Navy constantly have their staff walk the flight line picking up shit on the ruwways or carrier decks.  A small stone, coin or debris can take out a jet.  The US Air Force runways are smooth as a baby's behind.

Russians don't give a shit.  They have runways with weeds, cracked concrete, dirt, snow, ice. They gas em up, pilot jumps in and off he goes.  I like the Russians because they are no BS.  Their downside is they are smart and they remind you of it every 5 minutes.

Their stuff is made to survive and is rugged like an old pickup truck.   Their jets are also top of the line these days too.

Oil is common place, hard to stop.

Better off (also) trying to deny them food and ammunition. Doco's I've seen suggest they already struggle to get enough food and argue about food sharing among themselves, plus complain about ammunition supplies. The more fighters they have the worse the problem is. So restrict their movement, shrink it and make them go hungry, destroy protein and fat sources, and eliminate ammuntion stores. Then you can shrink their area further and increase their pain. At some point they have enough fighters and slaves per square mile to hold their positions, so then bomb the crap out of them to shrink them down further. Easier to locate command nodes that way too.

You know who your real enemies are?  I am talking about the people who read and comment on this blog.

Your fellow American citizen, most who will follow the Commander in Chief's orders and back him to the hilt.  Most of the ZH crowd will be viewed as traitors and then things will get ugly.  When Bush started making noise about invading Iraq I was vocal about the criminality of that move and people looked at me with hate in their eyes.

Regardless of what Putin, Israel, ISIS does, the big danger is at home where the average tax payer enjoys the thought of having the biggest, best military in the world and they like to see it used.  We blame the bankers a lot, but there are a lot of sickos out there screaming 'nuke them' as long  the nukes aren't coming their way.

Oh, the peasants are easy to blame.  The poor have no voice.  Country clubs in every town in America is where the action is.  As it is obvious the pro-Agenda 21 individuals pushing this forward in our towns have been working on this for YEARS and the financing has come from the deep pockets of the 5th column.  The members of the country clubs who rub elbows with politicians do not talk about policy.  It is a sin to question it.  They talk about themselves.  Stare at each other.  Compare notes.  Good guy.  Bad guy.  Just make me rich.

Business leaders/chamber of commerce, the members of clubs...where are they. Counting dollars.  Upgrading, redecorating, travelling, taking a neverending inventory of stationary items at the cost of their perishable lives.  These men around that table...these men are FOOLS.  A million ideas, a million of the most beautiful women, a million songs, paintings, meals will be lost because of their reckless plan to dominate.  There was ANOTHER WAY!
