698K Native-Born Americans Lost Their Job In August: Why This Suddenly Is The Most Important Jobs Chart
After the Fed admitted over a year ago that the US unemployment rate (which in 2012 was supposed to be a rate hike "threshold" once it hit 6.5% and is now at 5.1%) has become irrelevant in a country where a record 94 million people have left the labor force, and with the Fed poised to hike rates even though US hourly wages have not only not increased for the past 7 years, but for the vast majority of the labor force continue to decline, some have asked - is there any labor-related chart that matters any more?
The answer: a resounding yes, only it is none of the conventional charts that algos and sometimes humans look at.
The one chart that matters more than ever,has little to nothing to do with the Fed's monetary policy, but everything to do with the November 2016 presidential elections in which the topic of immigration, both legal and illegal, is shaping up to be the most rancorous, contentious and divisive.
The chart is the following, showing the cumulative addition of foreign-born and native-born workers added to US payrolls according to the BLS since December 2007, i.e., since the start of the recession/Second Great Depression.
The chart is especially important because what it shows for just the month of August will be enough to provide the Trump - and every other - campaign with enough soundbites and pivot points to last it for weeks on end: namely, that in August a whopping 698,000 native-born Americans lost their job. This drop was offset by 204,000 foreign-born Americans, who got a job in the month of August.
But the punchline: since December 2007, according to the Household Survey, only 790,000 native born American jobs have been added. Contrast that with the 2.1 million foreign-born Americans who have found a job over the same time period...
... and you have a combustible mess that will lead to serious fireworks during the next GOP primary.

This actually happened before, in late (western) Roman Empire society. For the shrinking Roman middle class tax donkeys, Roman citizenship became a burden, rather than a benefit, and as a result most actually welcomed the "barbarians" and collapse when the end came. Where I work there has been a steady deluge of Indian born IT workers displacing American workers. Now there is talk of using them for an array of work tasks that are non-IT jobs. First we lost jobs to foreign manufacturers. Then it was call centers and IT jobs. Now it is progressing into data entry and other areas. Where does it end? We have a 10%+ unemployment rate, yet we continue to allow corporations to bring in foreign workers.
There was a smart phone app., that identifies and objects in pictures.... First I thought interesting technology. In the end, we discovered the app. Actually sends a copy of picture to India, workers identify the objects manually, and type in the tags. No software magic, just cheap labor !
The wave of cheap immigrant labor is just beginning. As US capital dries up, foreign companies invest in US and hire off shore labor.

Yep, on August 25th, lost a "contract" job I'd had for eleven years with no paid vacation or insurance. My job was shipped to India. After eleven years, they did give me two weeks severence:)

Discrimination is a fundamental human right and necessary for advancement. But it must be individual discrimination. Laws forcing any one person to comply with the wishes of others is a perversion of freedom.
That is why there has been a war against discrimination by the progressives. Of course they are the most discriminatory of all, believing only their singular beliefs should be tolerated. The progressives are against all progress. Sounds odd doesn't it, but it is the truth. Those who are against freedom always try to cloak themselves as freedom fighters. The progressives want a state where they control the rate and direction of progress to ensure they are always in power. They must control the masses and keep them locked in a state of hopelessness and despair. This way they will always be dependent on those in power for their livelihood.
Discrimination is fundamental to freedom. Discrimination is the freedom to choose your own path. It is nothing but a choice to do something or not. It is human nature hard wired into our DNA. If your discrimination leads to failure, then it proves that your beliefs were incorrect. If your discrimination leads to success, then it proves validity in your course of action.
The point is you get to choose. The danger lies in a central authority choosing the course of action, effectively cutting of the individuals right of discrimination. A person should be allowed to not like anyone for any reason. If a black man owns a restaurant and refuses to serve white people, let him. Telling him he must serve white people is against his right to choose for himself, eliminating his right to freedom.
If this man's choice leads him to go out of business than his discrimination will rectify itself.
What happens when you tell a man that he must serve white people, it may mean he has to stock certain foods white people would rather eat. He may have to change his decor to better reflect the tastes of his new clientele. Maybe long time customers will hate the new direction of his restaurant and stop coming. Instead of helping his business, anti discrimination actually puts him out of business.
This can be seen all over America as affirmative action. Now large corporations are being forced into showing that they are diverse. If diversity really helped business, it would have already been done.
Life isn't fair, not everyone gets a trophy, and some people are stronger and or smarter than others. Not letting some people advance so that Johnny stupid can catch up means nobody advances. Well except for Johnny stupid because he gets to believe he accomplished something.

The Great Lakes region was once the engine of the world. More wealth for a wide range of people was concentrated between Rochester and Chicago than anywhere on earth.
Now what was a prosperous region has rusted and decayed into what looks like a post apocalyptic wasteland compared to its heyday. I notice a large percentage of certain races of people in the decaying areas, plus a lot of offices run by people of a certain religion claiming to help get people of certain races the money they think they deserve.
I've told people from the coasts that think the Midwest is nothing but a giant trailerpark to take a trip to Cleveland sometime. Go to the art museum and head out Cedar Rd and take a right on Fairmont. Just that one street has nicer homes than almost anywhere else in the USA. All around that area there are miles of mansions.
