Meanwhile In Brussels, Farmers Take On The Riot Police With "Hay Cannon"
As events unfold that have to be seen to be be believed in Belgian capital Brussels, European farmers - protesting plunging food prices, blamed on Russia's food embargo, which was retaliation to Europe and US sanctions - are demanding EU intervention to bail them out. What was originally a parade of tractors quickly turned violent as farm equipment rammed police barricades and police released tear gas and water jets in response to the farmers unleashing their "hay cannon." Boomerang anyone?
It all started peacefully...

And then the farmers unleashed the "hay cannon"...
And out came the tear gas...
Belgian police on Monday fired water cannon at European farmers who lobbed hay and fireworks as they demanded EU intervention against plunging food prices partly blamed on a Russian embargo.
The European Commission said it would release 500 million euros ($557 million) in emergency funds to help ease the pressure on farmers, as agriculture ministers held crisis talks on the situation.
The protest involved what organisers said was up to 6,000 farmers, who blocked streets in Brussels with hundreds of tractors, who targeted the heavily-guarded European Union headquarters where the talks took place.
Police briefly fired water cannon at protesters as farmers used a machine to shoot hay at police, AFP reporters said. Protesters also hurled eggs and set fire to planks of wood and tyres, sending thick black smoke wafting over EU buildings.
A combination of factors, including changing dietary habits, slowing Chinese demand and a Russian embargo on Western products in response to sanctions over the Ukraine conflict, has pushed down prices for beef, pork and milk.
"We are here today to demand EU action," Albert Jan Maat, president of European farmers association Copa, told reporters outside the ministers meeting in central Brussels.
* * *
We leave it to the farmers coop leader to summarize...
"EU farmers are paying the price for international politics," he said, adding the Russian embargo hit the EU's main export market which is worth 5.5 billion euros.
...
"There have been hundreds of suicides as a result of disastrous agricultural policies," said Remy Hulin, a retired farmer from the Calvados region of northern France carrying an effigy in farmer's overalls hanging from a gallows.

Another unintended consequence of foreign policies that Washington and Brussels apparently did not see coming...

Holy shit that's awesome!
Don't fool around with angry Belgian or French farmers. They are experts at creating public disturbances and grabbing headlines. Hollande knows this, which is why he is already asking for a discussion on ending the Russian embargo.
Amen to that. Last year the french were doing that 'hay cannon' trick with cow shit and the hopper was aimed at an open window of a french gov building
Whatever are they upset over? Don't they know that if they "work and pray, live on hay, you'll get pie in the sky when you die" (Joe Hill)
That shit stopped working 100-150 years ago. That's why they came up with "the light of others" (i.e. banksters) as reason for the plebs to demand less.
I love the way the Europeans riot.
It is so much more meaningful than American dindus tearing shit up, burning down their own neighborhoods, etc..
John Deere vs. The MRAP
Nobody gets guaranteed prices in the capitalist system.
Well, except for the Banks but what's more important bullshit fiat or food?
Meanwhile in Finland....

Those are the pavement apes, not Americans. The Americans aren't doing shit.

Looks like a high capacity assault hay cannon
It looks scary. Let's ban it.
Let's ban protests. Let's mandate happiness. Peace. Power to the Unicorns.
As one who small farms I ask myself, why do they need help for unexpected?
They are farmers.
These farmers in one of the most historically combative areas, Europe, financial security anyone?
Beuller...... anyone?
OK their debt & taxes etc but c'mon, your market is where? Hedgeeee time.
Still good to see unity and craziness with farm equipment.
Me thinks a little 90% alchohol and a spark at that haying equipment dishcarge.
I might try that on the blueberry field.
So, you think this is the vaunted "invisible hand" of the market? You are dumber than you look.
Starting at 1:07...

Good shot!
Hahaha. Nothing says "Fuck you!" like a honey wagon. Non-violent, anyway.
The only thing missing was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhVg2uLVDtk
Fetchez la vache!!!
FUP - That is hillarious!
#farmerslivesmatter
Also, fuck TYT. Worthless Commie bastards.
How much more "emergency funds" can there be before they run out? Good lord.
The loudest mouth gets the government redistribution. Farmers aren't interested in freedom, just a controlled or subsidized market that benefits themselves.
I LOVE the smell of ANARCHY in the morning !!!
Next up....
D-10 vs. MRAP
"LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE !!!!!!!! "
Don't you just hate it when they blow hay in your face!
Give me some good red-blooded, all-American looters burning down buildings, breaking store windows and grabbing big screen TVs. Now, that's how to riot!
and basketball backboards
It smells like...Freedom!
Don't forget Hollande also wanted to unload two unwanted LHD's, because the money to pay contractors for them, and reimburse Putin with is coming out of the French budget, which was already in massive deficit ('funded' by more debt).
Hay cannon? Where are the manuer spreaders?
Hay cannon seems harmess enough... until you light the hay that was just sprayed all over the riot police. Then the real battle is hay cannon + fire vs. anti riot water cannon.
"Holy shit that's awesome! "
It would be 10X more awesome if it was spewing pig shit at 'em.
Well this pretty much sums up the state of "Western Civilization" vis-a-vis The rest of the world.
Let's get this straight:
Europeans, who have voted, actually demanded, their own extinction via immigration without assimiliation, policies and morals/values that deter and/or denigrate childbirth, and crazy entitlements, are now pissed off at some of the relatively mild negative consequences of their "superior" ehtics and idealogy? So they fight back not with bullets and death?
Meanwhile, ISIS and others, who have .000000000001% of the West's resources, are posting videos of themselves sawing off heads, and infiltrating just about everywhere. Pirates in just about every EM port. etc, etc,
Everyone knows what the next phase of ISIS is, and it's not pretty for the West.
That should be all you need to know about stocks, politics, military, and the Uber-rich buying islands with private landing strips. Who the fuck has ANY DOUBT about how this movie will end?????
Marge
I guess it's hay cannons instead of pitchforks. I'm good with that.
I'm pretty sure that the riot police weren't ready for that one, but they should be happy that the farmers weren't more aggressive with their tractors.....
If the police were smart, they would respond to the brutal hay cannons by wearing good, old-fashioned, freshly baked Bread Helmets.

Farmers are the salt of the earth; politicians are the scum of the earth! Death to the politicians! If you've eaten today, THANK a farmer!...
No. The farmers are demanding that government intervene in the markets and do something to supply them. Isn't that what ZH is usually opposes?
If they were demanding that government butt out of the markets and end embargoes, then I could support them.
Both sides in a conflict may be wrong. Do not necessarily believe that cliché 'enemy of my enemy is my friend'.
"If they were demanding that government butt out of the markets and end embargoes, then I could support them."
You seem to have missed the fact that the politicians interventions are what has already caused the price decline.
Quite the opposite. I believe government meddling is part of what has caused the decline.
I think you two just agreed, but don't realize it. Maybe one of you needs to revise and edit?
I'm scratching my head how an embargo caused prices to drop?!?! I don't get it, but I will agree with you both....
It has to be something govt did.
If there were an Russian embargo on imports from Belgium, that would cause an oversupply in Belgium and a price drop.
We agree that government is, at least part of, the cause. We disagree over what the farmers want from their protest.
Thanks Xit. Brainfart. I was thinking the russkies weren't sending stuff to Belgium.
Oh fucking christ. No thanks. I will simply compensate him for the value he created, which I consume.
I'll pass on the commie rent seeking bullshit.
And the people in their apartments and city homes won't quite understand because their screens tell them everything is fine.
The proles aren't worried, their food comes from the supermarket where magic fairies make it appear every morning....
Peaches come from a can.
It'll be like those stupid reality tv shows where everyone has to eat the gross primitive food to show how good Walmart food is. Except without the cameras and even worse food, plus the human slaughterhouse. That's what happens when you don't get the irony, I guess.
Those pussies have no idea how to fight tyranny.
The truth is, they don't want to fight it.
They just want a bigger share of it.
"Those pussies have no idea how to fight tyranny.
The truth is, they don't want to fight it.
They just want a bigger share of it."
... says an armchair revolutionary armed with a TV remote control.
Those riot police are an extension of the same body that have been financially raping America for over 100 years. Anyways, you'll never see that type of revolt here.
Subsidized corn?
Subsidized rice?
Subsidized....uh, what isn't subsidized in America?
What's the payment plan again for not growing a damn thing?
We've seen them here, just no one joins in. People just sat on their computers and called them communists.
Some of us were fighting this shit fifteen years ago as kids while you traded on the stock market. You all came too late and no one supports people who fight, that's why we're in the mess we're in.
Regardless of the right or wrong, a guy attacking a police line with a tractor like that has balls and took action on his principles. I admire his guts if nothing else. He's no pussy as you said - a pussy is a key board commando sitting on his ass instead of acting. As someone said on ZH - everyone wants to be on Sherman's march to the sea, but no one wants to be on John Brown's raid
+1 for the John Brown reference.
Btw, due to seasons, what farmer can get screwed out of a years profit and then function a whole additional year wo income. A bailout from the psychopaths would be fitting but I'm sure it will just come from other suckers.
There is one way out of this drain circling nightmare, take responsibility, all of it.
John Brown failed because he got caught.
Or, he was just insane.
John Brown would have made a good Jesuit.
Too bad he Jesuits are pro-slavery.
You and the Moron need to acquaint yourself with the concept of an analogy. Next you'll be telling me about Sherman's sins. WTF - are you guys really that thick?
On a second read - I really can't object to a 411 on Brown - comment withdrawn with apologies.
Moron- not so much
were that to happen in 'murika the guy would end up with 500 bullets in his body
John Brown was himself a lunatic and a terrorist, and one of the spiritual ancestors of all those "diverse" peoples who burn down their neighborhoods, shoot cops in the back at gas stations, and overun the borders of Europe looking for handouts. Well, to be more specific, he is not so much their spiritul ancestor, as the spiritual ancestor of the white people who have abetted these processes, step by disastrous step.
You're darn right I don't want to be on John Brown's raid. I want to be watching him hang.
Drinks on me
Hey Moron- let me simplify the analogy for you. It's easy to join the winning side after the winner is known The hard man acts on his principles before any outcome is known and doesn't 'tack' to the wind. Now I suppose you and Chuck will offer me sailing lessons
Have you read "Lies my Teacher Told Me" by James Loewen?
Apparently, unflattering parts of our US History are still glossed over in school textbooks or completely omitted. This is one of those areas. Calling someone "crazy" is a label meant to discourage actual discussion of that person's motivations.
John Brown was not crazy. What John Brown did was also wrong. Killing is only allowed when it's sanctioned by the State (of course).
You aren't going to want to hear this, but as to motivation, John Brown has more in common with Kim Davis than Bryce Williams.

Western Europe.
Eastern Europe is not this way. The Eastern nations are largely full of much young populations and young families. Pregnant white women roam the streets in numbers, with their white male husbands. It is every Leftists nightmare.
Also, Europe is a zoo but the animals are these various brown people from all over the world that white people are keeping as housepets by housing them and feeding them and pretending they are people and will ever turn into white productive members of society.
By "thick" you are referring to intellect, I suppose?
add a bit of diesel and gasoline to the hay
soften the diesel with soap the night b4
and after that a tad of fertilizer,
not to much so that noone gets hurt
They needed a "Big Roy" from the 1970s. I wish they would have hit that line a few more times and rammed those armored vans... some reinforced bumpers and steel sheeting could have come in handy.

Hhhmm, fucking around with the people who actully do the work to feed you...?
Good luck with that.
Pissing around with water canons is violence?
Let's take a couple of days off and conquer Belgium;)
Do you know where Belgium is on the map?
You haven't seen anything yet. Europeans are pissed about the hordes of economic migrants that are being foisted upon them by the EU. Europeans have had to lose all sorts of freedoms because of terrorists, and now anyone from anywhere with no papers can just act pitiful and waltz right into their countries whist getting all kinds of benefits at their expense. And they are forced to accept this. Bet they wish they still had their guns.
+1000 to “Whoa Dammit”
Best summary comment of the week.
That one and the one above about not effing with the people who produce your food.
I recently read that in 1900 39% of the US population lived on farms. Today it’s like 2%.
2% feed all 100%
That’s a staggering accounting of power distribution. Too bad it’s all big Corporations in the US who comprise the 2%. Seems to be different in Europe.
We grow as much of our own food as working full time and raising kids allows, but are gradually heading towards partial food independence on 1/2 acre.
We attended an Urban Garden Open House event in 2012 in the SF Bay area and were amazed! Willow Rosenthal manages a less than 1/2 acre farm in Berkeley for a wealthy family and this little production feed 5 families all the produce, eggs and chicken those families need every year.
We bought her book on the spot and left SF for our land in Oregon by July the following year 2013.
http://www.amazon.com.au/Essential-Urban-Farmer-Novella-Carpenter-ebook/...
its a lot of work, I'm about to head out to transplant Kiwi and Almond trees today even, but small steps over time are already yielding great results. Last year we pick 50 lbs of cherries, bushels of plums grapes and blackberries, and started 19 mulberry trees from seed, planted walnut apple and filberts.
When our daughter wants a snack we just go outside and pick something. its Raspberry and Apple and Pear season here right now.
Chickens and honey bees hopefully next year.
Eff Monsanto, the Bankers and all the Corporations and politicians who seek to own us.
WE are John Galt.
I effing Miss America!
Oil. Don't forget that, as now these industrial farms consume more energy than they put out.
I don't think 1/2 an acre is sustainable as it requires too much soil input itself, but it's a good start to learning about care.
the last sentence of yours, thumbs up, right on Sir
Yes, a hardy thumbs up to fucking Miss America. (By the way, I also miss America.)
Gumby, Invincible, n Goose; i heartily endorse your comments
People on the internet have already combed over the thousands of pictures of "refugees" and synced hundreds of them up with pictures of ISIS fighters. Literally hundreds of KNOWN ISIS fighters are streaming into Europe right now by pretending to be "refugees." This is an indisputable and known fact.
However, one can easily speculate that, in fact, thousands of ISIS fighters are in Europe right now being given free housing, food, medical care, etc.
The outcome will not be positive.
its all fun and game until someone gets hay on um........so cruel
keep fucking around and someone is going to lose an eye
Those farmers need to fight back with shit cannons loaded from dairy lagoons.
Make sure they use good ecoli shit.
Nope Pig Poop's where it's at (worst of possible smells), mixed with a little waterbased contact cement and it's the gift that keeps on giving for days LOL :) Mr Flesh
Actually, human manure is, generally speaking, the foulest smelling. Lots of nasty diseases too!
A guy I know helped develop a kit for converting dirt bikes into track vehicles (for snow) somebody should really do that for tractors.
Already done, https://www.deere.com.au/en_AU/products/equipment/tractors/track_tractors/track_tractors.page
Nobody saw the hay cannon comming. By the way, that chopped and fluffed straw would make a helluva flash fire. Those cops had no idea what a tossed molotov would to them, all covered in chopped straw.
But all of the Germans saw the niggers coming. And "welcomed" them too.
No money available, they bought up all the US toxic paper.
Boomerang !!!!!!!!! I love that movie !!!!!!! soul glow.... don't you agree ????????????
I'd go with a manure cannon.
sooo, when folks don't get enough of the .gov give aways, they riot. i guess people really don't like it when things get cheaper to buy.
Long live the valiant French and Belgian farmers! These guys sure know how to fight.
Last time I looked, the French farmers has set fire to tax collecting road devices all over France.
http://www.leparisien.fr/images/2013/11/03/3282413_lanrodec_640x280.jpg
The government backed down.
You won't see this in USofA must of white population is on some type of drug that make them slow and lazy (zombies) to defend themselves...this is the main reason you only see latinos and blacks leading the protests.
I am Belgian, not that I consider that exeptional, but this article is way over... . The farmers have sofar been very very sage. And the problems they have, have little to do with sanctions and embargos. But everything with over indebtness from investments they were forced into. And the prices they get for their products from the European retailers. The farmers receive 0,2 € per Kg potatoes and we buy them in the supermarket for 1,5 €. So there is the problem. If this continues they might get really angry. (And the French farmers are very skilled in it).
What about Aldi or other discounters do they still charge high fees? Potatoes are interesting. Where I live, we can pay US$1 per lb approx, but there are some special stores usually with a focus on Mexican / Asian bargain hunters, and now we can get for $1 a 10 lb bag of potatoes. So the difference is huge depending on where you shop. Those discounters usually have best deals on produce in peak season.
That is just the whole point, it is the retailers that force the price down for the producers. And I used the actual price from Colruyt as reference.
And of course, the race to the bottom also has a bottom somewhere... .
So you're saying that "some group of people", "whoever they are", manipulated the economy to force asset owners into taking on massive loans then later manipulated the economy further to destroy the ability of those asset owners to service the loans they took from the money lenders so the banks can confiscate all assets for a fraction of their real value and distribute ownership rights to other members of the moneylending tribe. "Whoever they might be?"
No need to manipulate the economy. Just play on the greed factor. This is how people get themselves overextended.
Of course with government regulations upon regulations sometimes a business has to get loans to purchase whatever is needed to be compliant.
And even worse, they were lured into it by their own organisations.
People have it pretty easy with the cops there, if that was the US they would have started unloading with "non lethals" and fully autos next. They wouldn't even have allowed any heavy equipment anywhere near a protest site. I guarantee you that if you dump a bunch of extremely flammable hay on any large numbers of any US metropolitian police force they would light your ass up and the "non lethals" they have now are pretty spooky. They range from burning you, blowing eardrums to making everybody in the crows lose sphincter control. Here is one example...
"The Active Denial System, or ADS, works like an open-air microwave oven, projecting a focused beam of electromagnetic radiation to heat the skin of its targets to 130 degrees. This creates an intolerable burning sensation forcing those in its path to instinctively flee (a response the Air Force dubs the "goodbye effect")."
Oh stop it. Provide one single frame of footage showing US cops using rubber bullets and rock-amd-rollers on crowds.
Remember Baltimore?, where the Mayor ordered the cops to do NOTHING AT ALL?
Remember Ferguson, where the cops did NOTHING AT ALL?
Remember Rodney King, where the cops did NOTHING AT ALL?
US riot response is clearly built around the principle of cordoning off the area, letting the protests burn out of their own volition, and then sticking the insurance companies with the subsequent bill.
Not machine gunning people in a land filled with lawyers and cell phone cameras.
I'm a firm believer in term limits for police forces and think they are largely revenue collection agents for the state rather than defenders of the public, but these insinuations of murderous intent are going a little too far for me. The cops prefer peacefully stripping their victims and taking them down on a 20-1 pile, not on a 20-2000 standoff where they might themselves get hurt.

Pretty easy to search for, and the fact that you need to search and find evidence shows that you're still sleeping.
But I'll share some info.
Rubber bullets:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G63FEamhpA0
Tear gas in Quebec was insane, constant for days, and they used CS Gas which is actually banned by international law:

Use of LRAD in Pittsburgh:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7ORW_k8fKs
The Miami Model, which indicates one shift in tactics used by the police:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2QfHaFitMs
The difference in technique comes down to a few factors, mainly the geography of the city and areas of strategic importance. Most people don't think about this because they are stuck in two-sided politics still. While proclaiming opposition to government they still believe in the false binaries. The difference between black riots and white riots primarily is the political focus of the white riots, or the protest nature of them in political areas of the city. This is why they are attacked. The black areas are often left to burn themselves out because they do not care about these areas and simply take a defensive position to ensure they do not spread. As much as you may be against black people they have been living in the police and surveillance state much longer than many of you. If you don't believe this then simply look up cointelpro.
Canada has taken a bit different approach from the states, they tend to build a defensive area. And in Toronto G20 this even appeared to be a tactic similar to what they use in black areas, it seemed to be baiting. No doubt there is a practical manipulative purpose here, it makes the prtesters look destructive and against the rule of property. But property and capitalism are simply lies, forms of theft for the government to manipulate and hide their true purpose. If you fall for that then you are being duped back in to their two-sided politics. Understanding black or communist riots does not necessarily mean one is a race or political traitor, and it doesn't mean whites cannot learn something from their experience. It is just that we are all repressed in different ways. They want you to fight with other groups, as this means less fighting for them to deal with.
Evidence of undercover agents acting as provocateurs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St1-WTc1kow
In reality a revolution will be composed of many different groups, some who will be adamantly opposed to one another (race-mixed liberal groups and white nationalists for example), but one great thing about the protests in Quebec was the fact that people could set aside these differences for a common goal. Zones of protests were set up for the various levels of activity, and it was agreed that the zones would be passive or active, this allowed for direct action to take place without interference. If you were a pacifist you could stay in zone 1, if you were an anarchist you could go to zone 3 if you wanted to engage in more lively activities.
Of course, there were a few mishaps, one being a pacifist punching an anarchist after the group started smashing up a bank. And some unionists were upset with the anarchist/anti-capitalists for getting to out of control based on their standards, but overall people respected the fact that anarchists attacked the cops, banks, tore down the fence and almost made it to the leaders meeting, and defended the protesters with different political ideas.
It is not perfect, not even close. I have my own problems with these political groups. But things are never perfect, and the paradox of most capitalist thinkers is they believe in this ideology of decentralisation but only if it is on their ground, follows their rules exactly. This is its own form of centralisation as it abstracts it. True decentralisation in our world would have to allow for some sort of difference between groups.
I would suggest watching the Stormcloudsgathering video on how to prepare for the next American revolution, what he proposes is essentially an anarchist federation structure which prohibits different regions from infiltrating and trying to take over other regions. This will be an important step because there is great potential for massive civil war in America and that is something we should avoid.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Zq4f6WYmHU
I don't necessarily agree with all of this, I think a society with deeper meaning needs to be set up, but that would have to rely on a voluntary federation of different groups. I guess my leanings are somewhere between anarcho-primitivism and anti-nationalist fascism. But I'll leave you with one idea of how this works. In the Spanish Revolution collectivisation was not mandatory, the anarchists offered collective rights to landowners and if they decided to keep their private land then they were on their own and would not receive benefits of the collective. By no means do I think this is perfect, but it is a necessary step to avoid something like forced collectivism or dekulakisation in Soviet Russia. Private local capitalists could keep their land and not worry about coercive collectivisation.
Such a system requires that people walk a tentative balance with their own group and others, but it is a start.
I am starting to get the feeling that a whole lot of people around here have never protested before. I had a most excellent protest sign once that I put on a small and rough plank of wood, those bastards came right at me and yanked that thing right out of my hands... being that my sign was non-violent and so was I, I didn't really want to give up my expression of freedom of speech and ended up with 3" inch long chunk of wood slivered through my palm, then he beat me over the head with it and walked off...lol I considered myself lucky.
That footage I linked above of the Battle of Seattle was nothing, the other footage showing people covered in blood and cops launching gas canisters onto city buses you have sign into utube to confirm your age to see now. I guess we are all supposed to just keep voting and applying for protest permits.
Your initial post claimed that the cops would be mowing people down with machine guns, which I consider to be too much of a leap at the present time.
The government has far better figures than anyone else regarding the number of guns and the amount of ammunition being stockpiled by everyday Americans. I would suggest to you that they are no doubt anxious to maintain their current level of control while simultaneously avoiding a "Boston Massacre" event that would sweep away their facade of being in possession of overwhelming force.
Intimidation is their game. They do not wish to put this matter to an actual test against an aroused citizenry. Divide et Impera.
As for the laughable concept of a "Protest Permit", anybody who applies for one of those has already lost the fight. Free people do not beg for their rights. They do not schedule their discontent around the convenience of their rulers.
It may have come across like that when I said "they would light them with non lethals and fully autos next". I didn't mean to make it sound like they would just start killing everybody. I don't think they would let loose live ammo either unless they lost control, a cop got separated and surrounded or some other justification. Throwing hay may not seem like a really big deal but it is highly flammable. If you were to put that in the context of WTO, after dark, with a way bigger and meaner crowd and with flame present you may give them all the excuse they need and these guys are more than used to killing.
I think your right that they don't want another Kent State or Boston Massacre. I'm unsure, however, if they can control their military trained police forces to the extent that they would like. Either way, I bet when the SHTF they will be using all of their new crowd control weapons and that won't be funny.
This 'ol world is coming apart at the seams. Isn't much longer to global war.
Quick. More cowbell, more cowbell. We need more cowbell.
“Another unintended consequence of foreign policies that Washington and Brussels apparently did not see coming…” safe bet that the GMO, lets replace bees by genetically enhancing flying ants, BigAg, Soylent <x> crowd did.

that's the only hope left
I wish food prices would plummet here. Instead, the size of the coffe can has shrunk by nearly 20% in the last couple of weeks, with the price remaining the same.
The prices of all agricultural commodities are dropping around the world (except for cocao/chocolate).
You may be paying more for coffee, bread, or whatever, but the producer is getting very little of it.
Coffee has a fungus tree problem and Cocca, ebola
The irony here is that all those shiny new-ish tractors were bought through farming subsidies disimbursed by EU agricultural fund....
Cut the farmers some slack... they burned fuck tons of European priced farm diesel to get to Brussels for their protest.
In USA the cops would empty automatic weapons into the tractors, and the police who did it would be lionized as courageous heroes against agricultural terrorism.
At least it's good to see some humanity in Europe.
Yea, water cannons? For ramming a police line with a vehicle? No, you'd be deader than dead for that.
And there'd be a special halftime NFL Superbowl American Hero Victory Stage for the cops who shot the tractor drivers.
Insert "steroid-addled" between "the" and "cops"!
The bankers won't allow us to do that in the US.
Throwing hay - that's terrorism.
They might be in for a shock once they try to normalize trade with Russia.
If Russians are wise they will avoid trading with the EU as the EU has proven themselves to be unreliable trading partners. I am sure that Russia is working on increasing their own food production and they have already started to buy food from other sources. EU might have permanently sacrificed a very large market...and did it knowing very well that the sections were based on dishonest reasons.
Putin faked the food need and helped in the oil crash, one smart guy. ENext Europe will be full of illegal (Russian) car repair parts).. LoL They will make sure that there are plenty of defective parts. Font F@&k with Mother Russia!
There is another principle behind this that I often warn of. It is that economic war is very similar to war.
I see people essentially say "Get China! Screw the Japanese! The hell with NAFTA!" and similar things. Generally, it is some animus towards a country that has cheaper labor or attempts to game the currencies. I actually agree with some of the sentiments.
However, when you engage in economic war it is similar to real war in that there are casualties on both sides. Put tariffs on Chinese products or a full embargo and the truckers, railroads, ports and international trade businesses all go under or suffer enormously...in your own country. Prices go up and shortages result. Prices go up and everyone is immediately poorer. And on it goes.
Like war you hope the other side surrenders and in the end things are better but the outcomes is not certain and the casualies may linger.
Hay Hay, My My.
Cops and proles will probably die.
Ther's more to the picture, than meets the eye.
Hay Hay, My My.
You don't want to fuck with these people. Farmers are not weakling white collar pussies like many in the West. They work hard from sun up to sun down and are usually strong as shit from a life of physical labor. And they are creative problem solvers too. Look at that hay cannon.
Water cannons, barbed wire, and riot police for white European farmers.
A free house, car, money, food, public transport pass, cell phone, clothing, and education for random Muslims from anywhere on Earth.
You call this Democracy? You call this a European Union? The Beglian government is an enemy of the people, as is any government that is helping to carry out the genocide of all white people and Europeans in their native lands.
Every EU government is the enemy of their people.
They do not operate for the population's benefit.
They operate for their own benefit. Majority of the times they cannot take for themselves directly so they enact policies and laws that are far more damaging long term than a simple direct extortion as was done in the days of monarchy (real monarchy and not this fake figureheads of today).
Go long haybails.
They need to escalate to manure spreaders. Pigs deserve shit!
No, short.. I've got 60t if you want.. production cost = $35/t ask now $25 and not FOB 1st cutting. RFV 88 protien 14
My faith in humanity is restored. After coming ten years too early I thought I'd have to commit suicide, but this is a sort of redemption.
Tear down the cities with tractors.
The Chinese are looking to pick up some agricultural assets. I am sure they'll benefit from all those broke European farmers.
French farms need to be shut down and the populace supplied with cheaper American and Argentine farm products. The farmland can then be converted into housing developments for immigrants and refugees from the former French Empire and mandates such as Syria.
May you be issued "Soylent Green" coupons in you future (from Monsanto with pyrithin laced beans and the remnants of your dead protesting relatives) giving you lasting Alzheimer's until you last choking day
Can't we just all send these refugees to Brussels, that's where they fucken belong.
Russia must apply much more sanctions, and especially on USSA. The EssU will loose their markets in Russia, even when the reverse sanctions stop. They just to dumb to realize it.

Hay protection..... Gee I thought needle in haystack was tough but now box cutter in haystack...... HSA 2.0 Haystack Security Administration...... Tyler you can be the Tsar
