they have been thoroughly westernized havent they? division in america is the foundation of political discourse. we've taken the marxist dialectic and formed into our own pragmatic tool for progress. east and west change roles, is that what Joyce said?

Japan is the  leading nation in the region, China may be larger but their culture is of lesser consequence. Japan will be saved when America begins exportiing LNG and selling it to them at a much lower price than they currently pay, and allowing the Japanese to shelve their nuclear plants. then we implement the IMF plan, which will pretty much split the world between haves and have nots, China is jockeying to join the haves before the IMF plan goes into effect, they're hanging on by their finger nails, and ultimately the western nations can demand that the communist thugs step down, or no IMF. somewhere along the line we may give Japan some technology to get them over the top and keep them on top in the region, we really dont want the current Chinese regime calling the shots in the region. they cant even keep control of North Korea. we're not going to let Japan fail.

...when America begins exporting LNG...

Watchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?

There is absolutely ZERO infrastructure to make that possible, and even if there were, have you put pencil to paper to calculate the landed cost/btu?

Didn't think so.

This would be news to Chenerie Energy and their Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi LNG terminals. The first of Sabine Passes four existing liquefaction trains will be in full production in a few months, with the rest to follow in the next year or two. That's 2.8 billion cubic feet per day. They're mulling over whether to EXPAND Sabine Pass by another two trains to 4.1 billion cubic feet per day. I believe Mistubishi has already contracted for all their production - much, if not all going to Japan. Forward contract prices reportedly $15 - $17 MMBtu. Chenerie's old presentaton here for production costs. Based on those costs, $4 - $6 profit per MMBtu delivered.

Corpus Christi started construction later - production in 2018 IIRC. Three trains with another two planned.

Unfortunately, it sounds like all that is coming to an end unless Henry Hub goes below $2 MMBtu here, or European and Asian contracts start trading well above $8 MMBtu. Global demand has been dropping.

Trains?  Are you telling me that someone built a trestle from here to Tokyo?  Okinawa?

Mental midgets can debate the feasibility of N. American LNG exports to Japan 'til hell freezes over.

IT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

Bank it.

And Qatar already has 14 trains online and exports 80 mtpa vs the 9 mtpa that Chenerie are planning to bring online this year (and Qatar is smaller than the state of Connecticut) versus the less than 100 mtpa planned for all of the US and Australia.   And yet the sheeple around here keep parroting Pepe's folly about Qatar and pipelines

You forget in your analysis that there is no honor among thieves and I can add; nothing a psychopath would not do to another psychopath; the goodness of God.

"Take heed that no one deceives you. ... And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the BEGINNING of "birth pangs" (stage 1 labor is the idea). Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and murder you, and you (the Christian) will be hated by all nations for My name's sake (50% among ZH'ers & a kind group at that really). And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets (teachers) will rise up and deceive many.  And because lawlessness (rebellion against God's moral laws) will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  -  The last one is true everywhere, but then again people's idea of love is sad at the very least.

This is truth, but since God is truth, most wander aimlessly seeking for the truth somewhere else and never finding it.

Take heed that no one deceives you... You make it sound as if this 'event' is sometime in the future.  I don't, scratch that, can't know for sure, as I am not the Creator- However, the 5 senses that Creator gave me lead me to believe that the deception has been ongoing for a very long time.  Further, it seems to me that you, my friend, are in fact suffering from this deception.

Personally, I anxiously await Jesus's return (if there is such a thing), 'cause you pious assholes are gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Reminds me.  I need to buy some extra popcorn.  And beer.

"Japan will be saved when America begins exportiing LNG and selling it to them at a much lower price than they currently pay"

Is that one of those Hopey-Changey things?

Japan is BROKE.  And, like US LNG producers and shippers can afford to take negative margins?

Your emotional reaction to China locks you into illogical thinking: steeped in religion it's understandable I suppose...

the Japanese have been caught up in this western debt bubble, but they have the technology and the culture to handle it. China is a potemkin village. No matter how badly their financial situation becomes Japan will get through, and no matter how much GDP the Chinese can create their economy will ultimately collapse. the empire is about to expand, Japan is in, China probably not. i refer to the empire as a matter of conjecture, because it matters little whether we like it or not, these things take on a life of their own. for the moment the west has the leadership, the standards and the culture, and the rest of the world will have to take a back seat, or try to catch up.

True, dat. There's maybe no nicer nation to live in in Asia then Japan. SK is progressing very nicely, however. Taiwan, so-so. China way too polluted and their internet is 80% blocked by trolls.

Japan should make an awsome slave state. Unless you happen to be one of the slaves.

Its always stuck me as odd that a proud, intelligent, achieving race like the Japanese swallowed central banking hook line and sinker.

I would love to see them throw off the chains of American debt slavery.  An independant Japanese voice is sorely missing from the world stage.

(BTW, spare me the Nanking and Bataan references.  As if that could define the entirety of the Japanese soul.)

Once they got nuked and the Emperor was reduced to a frail human and not the inviolate Demi-God central to their culture they became fertile ghetto bitches for the imposition of the prevailing vulturism of Central Bankster pimps.

A repeated pattern, no?

They are also homogeneous, woe to offend and quite cattle like in their social behaviors.  The smartest and most productive cow who eats the most hay and delivers the most milk is still ultimately slaughtered.
