Joe "Ridin' With" Biden Close To Announcing White House Bid, Aides Say

Tyler Durden's picture

Following the circus that unfolded in real-time on CNN at the Reagan Library last Wednesday, and considering that your choices on the Democratic ticket are essentially limited to an entrenched member of America’s political aristocracy who’s facing an FBI investigation and a radical socialist who wants to implement the largest peacetime increase in government spending in modern history, you’d be forgiven for suggesting that, as bad as things are now in Washington, they may get far worse starting January 1, 2017.

Over the past three months, we’ve documented the rise of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, noting that their shockingly high poll numbers reflect the fact that Americans are fed up with business as usual inside the Beltway and are ready to see real (as opposed to Obama-brand) “change.”

That said, Sanders’ plan to turn big government into huge government and Trump’s rather haphazard, ad hoc platform have left some voters wondering if perhaps this isn’t exactly the type of “change” they want after all.

With the GOP field showing few signs of narrowing (Rick Perry’s exit notwithstanding) and even fewer signs of getting less crazy, and with Hillary Clinton polling worse now than at the same point in the cycle in 2008, calls for Joe Biden to enter the race have grown and a meeting between the Vice President and Democratic heavyweight Elizabeth Warren last month fueled speculation that Biden was preparing to announce. Now, as WSJ reports, it appears as though Biden will indeed make a run at The White House in 2016. Here’s more:

Vice President Joe Biden’s aides in recent days called Democratic donors and supporters to suggest he is more likely than not to enter the 2016 race, and their discussions have shifted toward the timing of an announcement, said people familiar with the matter.

While the Biden team is still debating the best time to jump in, the vice president met Monday with his political advisers and talked about the merits of an early entry that would assure him a place in the Democratic debate scheduled for Oct. 13. They also are honing his campaign message and moving ahead with plans to raise money and hire staff, the people said.

“It’s my sense that this is happening, unless they change their minds,” said one person who spoke to Biden aides last weekend.

Mr. Biden’s entry would coincide with Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s ramped-up efforts to reassure her backers that the probes into her use of a personal email server while she was secretary of state won’t derail her candidacy. That controversy has produced a month of bad headlines for Mrs. Clinton and helped boost her chief rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, in the polls. A Biden bid could make her road to the Democratic nomination even tougher.

The Democratic debate next month is one of two important events in October that are on the minds of Mr. Biden’s top advisers as they consider a campaign start date.

Democratic National Committee leaders have scheduled only four debates before the Iowa caucuses set for Feb. 1. Delaying a presidential announcement would mean passing on a chance to appear before a national TV audience and make the case that he would be a better nominee than Mrs. Clinton. Yet as a sitting vice president, Mr. Biden already has a platform that keeps him in the public eye.

Mrs. Clinton has declined to speculate about a Biden challenge. “I’m certainly not going to comment on my good friend and former colleague,” she said Thursday on CNN. “He has to make up his own mind about what’s best for him and his family as he wrestles with this choice.”

Michael Briggs, a spokesman for Sen. Sanders, said, “If the vice president decides to enter the race, Bernie looks forward to a serious discussion of the issues.”

Yes, Hillary is “certainly not going to speculate” and Bernie “looks forward to a serious discussion of the issues.”

Of course between Clinton’s e-mail scandal and Sanders’ radical plan to expand big government, it’s probably fair to say that should Biden enter, the Clinton campaign will need to “speculate” on how to word a concession speech while Sanders can “look forward” to dropping out altogether, and that’s certainly not a comment on how qualified Biden is for the job, but rather a realistic assessment of where things are likely to head given the current environment.

In any event, we’re sure we’ll find ourselves talking more about Joe in the weeks and months to come and so for now, we’ll simply close by noting that if you think it’s entertaining to watch Trump debate the GOP field, just wait until Trump and Biden take the stage together.

Or, summing up the above...

I always thought Obama choosing Biden was sheer brilliance.  I could just imagine a sniper getting ready to pop BO in the head, when he suddenly has a vision of what happens next... "Aww, shit.  No thanks".   Packs up the rifle and heads home.

That we're even halfway serious about having Biden as a viable candidate really underscores how fucked we are.

What's the difference? Biden, Hillary, Trump, Bush, Carson, Fiorina all give you more illegal, unconstitutional wars. They aren't even trying to act like they are aganst war anymore.

All of the above candidates will grow the national debt and keep the Federal Reserve running. Just like in 2008 and 2012, there is only one candidate that is ant-fed. Hint: he is also against all the unconstitutional wars that the bankers profit from.

America will need a caretaker president to preside over the next phase of the retrenchment of the empire.  The phase where it will be readily apparent that the 'good days' are over.  Biden is old, check, stupid, check, but he is irascible.

What is needed is a not just a puppet, but a puppet that talks the puppet talk and walks the puppet walk.  Someone who will meekly accept the inevitable "he stabbed us in the back talk" and all the consequences that will go with it.  Somebody unconnected to Washington, so none of the bad smell attachs directly to D.C.'s perfumed princes.

Plenty of good fodder on the Republican side, but for some reason Jeb! feels there is more juice to be squeezed from the lemon.

Come on Jeb! just take your chips off the table and head for Paraguay.  Come back when it's time for the 'Caudillo' phase.

The caretaker will have to be good at bowing, scraping and dissembling at the UN and other conferences.  He'll tell us that Americans all need to make a 'mea culpa' to the world.  That just sharing a Coke with the world will no longer suffice.  That the crushing austerity he is introducing is all that we deserve.

Kind of like the post - Viet Nam era.

Is the US actually going to atone to the world for anything?  Relax.  The answer is 'no'.

"Silent Cal" deservses more credit for rolling back the big government progressivism that had infested th government.  But the Progs won't give it to him of course.  After the disasterous, wrenching turn to progressivism under Woodrow Willson, Coolidge (among other things) cut the size of government in half and de-segregated the miltary and civil service (Wilson segrated them, being a classic progressive racist).  The economy boomed and we got a lot of excellent inventions such as the refridgeration. Too bad greedy bankers caused the '29 crash.

I can't wait for Biden to get in the race!!!  I fully expect poll numbers for "Joe, the common man" (sarc) will be high at first as all the paid Biden/Obama bots furiously vote for him in the first week or so.  But his numbers will soon plummet because the general population correctly thinks he is Obama's lap dog and an all around buffoon.

In this battle to the death between Obama and Hillary, its already been entertaining to see them trying to viciously execute each other with good old fashioned Chicago-style/Alinski fight club tactics.  I think Hillary is dead but she just doesn't know it yet.

The two Progressive camps are simply fighting for control.  Same as 2008. The Clinton global crime organization lost that time, and will this time too.

Obama and his Progressive totalitarian comrades have two goals:  1) maintain control by getting a third term, which means installing a willing puppet, and 2) preventing Hillary (their hatred runs deep).

Remember it was the Obama's puppet, the liberal NY Post, that "leaked" Hillary's email problems.  And if Hillary appears to be about to escape that trouble, expect Obama to instruct his DOJ to charge her, which will end her campaign.  Obama's blackmail is very cleaver and vicious.  Thinking Hillary will hang on until she gets Obama to promise to pardon her.

Oh, and Obama will crush Sanders.  Do you really think Obama + cronies will loose their grip on power because of Sanders?!  They are letting him go onexist now to help get their base to stop looking the the GOP field.

Joe "I'm a Zionist" Biden will have a tough time sucking harder or with more moaning than the GOP candidates.

Meanwhile, over in the Zionist-occupied UK:

----------
Jeremy Corbyn and the Jews

August 17, 2015 / Gilad Atzmon

By Gilad Atzmon

The relationship between Jeremy Corbyn and British Jews can be summarized into a brief observation:

While Corbyn’s success represents a hugely popular shift within British political thinking, the orchestrated Jewish campaign against him is there to suggest that once again, Jews set themselves against the people they dwell upon.

The vastly growing popularity of Jeremy Corbyn amongst Brits can be easily explained. Following decades of cultural Marxist, divisive Identiterian politics and Zionist-Neocon domination within the British Left, Corbyn brings along a refreshing ideological alternative. Corbyn seems to re-unite the Brits. He cares for the weak. He opposes interventionist wars. He represents the return of the good old left as opposed to New Labour’s affinity with big money, choseness and exceptionalism. He cares for the students and the youth. He thinks about the future and promises to undo the damage created by Blair and Cameron. But as Britain sees the rise of a hugely popular ideological movement, many Jewish institutions see Corbyn as an arch enemy. They would prefer to see him gone and have used nearly every trick in the book to discredit him.

In the last few days we have noticed a tidal wave of Jewish institutional opposition to Corbyn. First it was the Daily Mail that attempted to throw Zionist mud in the direction of the man who is destined to take over what is left out of the Labour party. Surprisingly, not a single British media outlet picked the Mail’s dirt for a few days. Eventually the notorious Zionist Jewish Chronicle had to take the gloves off just ahead of Sabbath and lead the battle against the emerging socialist leader.

In the weekend the Jewish Chronicle (JC) outlined its problems with Corbyn while claiming to “speak for the vast majority of British Jews… expressing deep foreboding at the prospect of Mr Corbyn’s election as Labour leader.”

Apparently, on behalf of ‘the vast majority of British Jews,’ The JC wanted to know whether it is true that Corbyn donated money to Dier Yassin Remembered (DYR), an organisation that was founded to commemorate the brutal massacre of an entire Palestinian village by right wing Jewish paramilitary fighters in 1948. I guess that the tens of thousands who joined the labour party in the last weeks just to support the first true British labour ideologist for generations were delighted to learn that their favourite candidate supported DYR and truly opposes Zionist barbarism.

On behalf of the “vast majority of British Jews” the JC demanded to be fully informed about the non-existent relationship between Corbyn and British DYR chairman Paul Eisen. The JC didn’t approve of the connection between Corbyn and pro-Palestinian Rev Stephen Sizer either. Corbyn was also asked to clarify his association with the Hamas, the Hezbollah and Palestinian cleric Raead Salah. I guess that the JC editorial would like to define the list of kosher ‘friends’ eligible for British elected politicians. Until this happens, the message that is delivered by the Brits is lucid: it is actually Corbyn’s firm stand on justice and his ability to befriend true freedom fighters and humanists which makes him into the most popular politician in Britain at the moment.

If someone in the JC fails to read the picture, I will outline it in the clearest form. British people are expressing a clear fatigue of corrupted party politics as much as they are tired of Zionist interventionist wars. They are begging for a change, they demand equality and the prospect of a better future and a leader with ethical integrity. Whether Corbyn can provide these qualities, time will tell. But the British yearning for a radical change has been formally established.

Disrespectfully and outrageously, in the open and on behalf of “the vast majority of British Jews”, the JC set an ultimatum to the most popular man in British politics.

“If Mr Corbyn is not to be regarded from the day of his election as an enemy of Britain’s Jewish community, he has a number of questions which he must answer in full and immediately.”

One would expect the JC editorial to learn something from Jewish history. Those British Jews who insist to speak ‘on behalf’ of their people should at least pretend to uphold some minimal respect to British good manners.

The JC, however, admitted that Corbyn ignored them for over a week – “No response has been forthcoming” from Corbyn or his office, the JC wrote. Though I do not have any reason to believe that Corbyn has a cell of hatred in his body, I wouldn’t like to see him bowing to Jewish political pressure. What we need is a firm British leader dedicated to equality, justice, peace and British interests instead of just another Sabbos Goy and servant of the Lobby as well as big money.

Update:

Almost 50 Jews have now signed a Jews-only letter insisting that the JC doesn't speak for them when it campaigns against Jeremy Corbyn (http://www.thejc.com/news/uk-news/142553/anti-israel-activists-attack-jc...). A quick arithmetic exercise reveals that 50 progressive Jews out of a community of 263,000 strong is 'not a lot.' Only 0.00019011 of British Jews oppose the JC line. It may as well suggest that the JC was actually telling the truth when it claimed to speak for the vast majority of British Jews.

People really waking up that there is an organized, international Zionism that means endless war and debt slavery.

There's zero place for lies or hate - exposure of coordinated transnational zionism and disproportionate Zio power, however, seems absolutely necessary to have any shot of peace and a return to sanity.

The silly catchphrases are what gets me.

"Drink Coca-Cola", “Cats like Felix like Felix.”, “Don't just book it. Thomas Cook it.”, “WotalotIgot!”, “Milk's gotta lotta bottle.”, "Ridin' with Biden".

Honest, whoever votes for the kind of moron who relies on this sort of marketing hot air to attract voters deserve what they get.

I like Sanders as the least worst - and yeah I have heard all the arguments and know it isn't popular here so I don't spend any time arguing/promoting him as the least batshit crazy on foreign policy and avoiding WW3.

But yeah, he's a "socialist" so by all means, let's elect another Israel Firster spineless warmongering cunt because they may be traitors, and warmongers, and absolutely bought and paid for - but at least they aren't commie faggots - that's the level I see on Drudge etc. from the young dumb and full of shit.

All this said - and again - you don't like Sanders for x, y, and z, and I'm not going to argue with you.

But fucking Joe fucking Biden?

He's Hillary clinton with a smaller cock. Absolute slave to Likud, absolute insider, and dumb. Not globally dumb - he might score pretty well on an IQ test, but dumb in the sense of dangerously unwise and clueless.

I may stay home. I'd vote for RP again. I get too upset when I see Rand... even if part of it is playing the role for Whitey... its sickening.

They all fucking suck.

I'm going to write in "No confidence"

I am pretty sure that Gideon's IQ would be
represented by as many digits as there are
letters in the name.
Yes, he is dumb, but so is Obama. If the media was not covering for him, he would be the biggest joke in politics since Dan Quayle.
