Did Hillary Trump Yellen & Burst The Biotech Bubble?

Tyler Durden's picture

So who is the most powerful woman in the world now?

Janet Yellen writes a 100-page report and reiterates the fact that Biotech valuations are stretched and stocks rally incessantly for a year.

Hillary Clinton tweets this....

And this happens?

So much for the flight to safety bid for Biotechs!

Yellen has little power. When the system comes down, the owners can blame a negro and an old woman.

Does anybody believe that Yellen actually decides anything?  Feminists should be outraged.  She's a puppet who does what she's told to do.

Yellen has the power that her Overlords grant her.  Prices will collapse, when they so dictate.  Obama SHOULD be blamed, but he is psuedo-black, so he probalbly won't.  Yellen won't get too much blame, because she is old, female & partially senile.

Wall Street WILL get blamed but probably nobody in particular. Congress WILL get roasted & most won't get relected.  Other sub-creatures will replace them.

The People will romp & stomp & demand change...and the only things that change will wind up hurting The People, which is what the Overlords want in the first place.

This is also know as a Credit Cycle.  It is evil, but we can't do much about it, other than short the bejebbers out of the market, when the Overlords pull the plug.

I actually think that is why an "outsider" is going to be the Prez in 2016. The elites know the shit is about to hit the fan and are keeping this together just enough to find a fall guy or gal. That won't be 0zer0, but the next Prez.... and an "outsider" would be the perfect patsy to usher in their "Strongman" in 2020. To pull that off, the collapse is going to have to be spectacular after 2016 so that the masses are litterally starving in the streets and will never support an "outsider" again, but only support a "strongman" that promises stability if the masses give up all their freedoms. Provoke enough fear, and the masses are more then stupid enough to give up everything. Welcome to the New Feudal World Order.

Something close to that. though I"m pretty sure that "the outsider" will be either weak (ala Carter) or another puppet that they chose.  Kind of the same thing.

Don't think we get starving masses, in the street, in America.  The rest of the world is well on its way though.

The EBT already failed once & got quite a reaction.  It may fail for a day or two, just to show who is in charge.  Otherwise, this is how "they" control the lower classes.  It won't fail for long.

The Romans did this with Grain, and a few other goodies.  This is why they had to take over Egypt & Eastern Europe...grain belts.  Then, idiots took over the Empire.  The Fed may be Evil, but they aren't stupid.  The Free Goodies will flow, at some level, for a long time to come.

Except for matters related to her daughter, I don't believe that HRC has ever been sincere about anything nor anyone.

This is a legitimate issue which gives her an opportunity to appear to be for something that most people can agree with. But don't think for one minute that she would follow through on whatever plan she will propose tomorrow.

"For several months the Federal Reserve has insisted that with the recovery of the North American economy they are in a tail wind. However, the multi-millions of monetary stimuli (“Quantitative Easing”) and maintaining the “federal funds rate” close to zero have not been sufficient to completely dissipate recessive tendencies. Seven years after the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, the current President of the US central bank, Janet Yellen, faces a serious dilemma: detain the stock market rise under the risk of converting into reality the worst nightmare of the United States, deflation."

"Ben S. Bernanke, the last President of the Federal Reserve, announced in December of 2008 the purchase of “asset-backed securities” and in November of 2010 the acquisition of US Treasury bonds, actions that, according to their own logic, should help to increase the release of credit on the part of the banks, and to maintain long term interest rates at minimum levels.

Never in the history of capitalism has there been a plan of monetary stimulus of such magnitude: monthly injections of liquidity equaling 85 billion US dollars. As a consequence of this policy, the multi-million purchases of actions multiplied the size of the balance sheet of the Federal Reserve by five, which went from 870 billion US dollars to more than 4.5 trillion US dollars from August of 2007 to November of 2014.

The great beneficiaries of this were the big investment banks: Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, etc. Instead of supporting the development of productive activity and the generation of quality jobs, the “unconventional” monetary policy implemented by the Federal Reserve promoted the “irrational exuberance” of the interventionists on Wall Street. On the other hand, in the economy as a whole the “process of recovery” continued to be weak and unequal."

How about breaking up these banks and taxing financial transactions over $1 million at 1%?

Politicians 101 - SAY ANYTHING to get elected.  She is likely taking massive donations from pharma.

She will say A in public to get the vote of the people while already privately negotiating with pharma to do B after elected.

They have nothing to worry about.  Anything will be at most haf hearted and likely ONLY impact the smallest players.  There will be some  "give" but lots of take.  We agree that certain drugs will be negotiated lower (in return for 10x profits on other drugs/devices, hidden of course).

Like Obamacare, any "bill" would be written by industry lobbyists which appears at face  to be beneficial to the public, but in reality is nothing of the sort.

There are plenty of laws already on the books which could be enforced - all that is required is Congress to remove the healthcare exemption.

Nothing wll change until it collapses on itself - Obamacare bought them a few years but its close to self correcting on its own.  15% compound growth each year only has a finite number of years before all but the wealthiest can afford it, in which case no threat of IRS or other will compel purchase where there is no ability to do so.
