U.S. Will Station New Nuclear Weapons in Germany Against Russia
Germany’s ZDF public television network headlines on Tuesday September 22nd, "New U.S. Atomic Weapons to Be Stationed in Germany," and reports that the U.S. will bring into Germany 20 new nuclear bombs, each being four times the destructive power of the one that was used on Hiroshima. Hans Kristensen, the Director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists, says, "With the new bombs the boundaries blur between tactical and strategic nuclear weapons.”

A former Parliamentary State Secretary in Germany's Defense Ministry, Willy Wimmer, of Chancellor Merkel’s own conservative party, the Christian Democratic Union, warns that these “new attack options against Russia” constitute “a conscious provocation of our Russian neighbors.”
German Economic News also reports on Chancellor Merkel’s decision to allow these terror-weapons against Russia: "The Bundestag decided in 2009, expressing the will of most Germans, that the US should withdraw its nuclear weapons from Germany. But German Chancellor Angela Merkel did nothing.” And now she okays the U.S. to increase America’s German-based nuclear arsenal against Russia.
Maria Zakharova, of the Russian Foreign Ministry, says: “This is an infringement of Articles 1 and 2 of the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” which is the treaty that provides non-nuclear states the assurance that the existing nuclear powers will not try to use their nuclear status so as to take over the world.
German Economic News says: "The federal government had demanded the exact opposite: The Bundestag decided in March 2010 by a large majority, that the federal government should 'press for the withdrawal of US nuclear weapons from Germany.' Even the coalition agreement between the CDU and FDP, the German government in 2009 had promised the withdrawal of nuclear weapons from Büchel. But instead there will be these new bombs."

It is a hypocrisy that developed nations have taken steps to ban chemical and biological weapons yet we have a "launch on warning". Anyone who has seen "Countdown to Zero" knows that we have already had several close calls with regard to a nuclear exchange with Russia. With todays climate, US imperialism, and the idea that the US can launch a pre-emptive strike and be successful (according to Paul Craig Roberts), we are on very dangerous footing.

In the interest of intellectual integrity and global perspective, how do you reconcile your position of Nuclear Nonproliferation with the selective basis to which you seem to be biased?

Sadly true, but you have to keep in mind what those 20 B-61s currently stored in Buchel are mean for. They are modified to be carried on German P-200 Tornado fighter-bombers, not on any U.S. aircraft. Germany asked to be in the 'strategic stockpile' program years ago. They actually had a bunch of other nukes removed from Ramstein a while back, so they have reduced the number on German soil. The 20 in Buchel are and will be specifically for use by the German Air Force (presumably in coordination with NATO).
In their twisted logic, this is actually a part of non-proliferation. Supposedly, Germany has no need to develop a nuclear weapons program of their own as long as they have U.S. supplied ones on German soil ready for use by Germany. Of course, there's the painful reality of Buchel being removed from the face of the earth by the first Russain nukes if it ever gets to that.
The B61-12 is an upgrade to the bomb package itself, not the W-80 thermonuclear warhead. The current noise is about a program to modify the fighters themselves over the next couple of years. No B61-12 Tornado-ready bombs actually exist - they won't even be produced or delivered until 2020. Until then, you're stuck with the old, clunky B61 mod 7s.
As nations go, I'm a lot less worried about Germany having these than, say Turkey. That's right - that psychpath Erdogan has 80 or so of these things he can strap on to his F-16s today - right now. I think there's some kind of secret decoder ring he needs to arm them. All B61s will be part of the upgrade program, just like the B61s held by the Belgian, Italian and Dutch Air Forces. Isn't non-proliferation wonderful?
The dial-a-yield W-80 warheads will probably be replaced by rebuilt ones by then. The old ones are usually sent to the Pantex plant in Texas and will eventually be stolen by Israel (again). That's a secret though, so don't tell anyone.

All human beings live as entropic pumps of energy environmental energy flows. As soon as we perceive human beings as separate from their environment, then they live as gangs of robbers. The only things that exist are the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. There are combined money/murder systems, whereby the debt controls are backed by the death controls. Money is the most abstract form of private property, which was always based upon backing up claims with coercions, and so, money is measurement backed by murder.
Civilization developed through the history of warfare. Economics exists as a subset of warfare. That was how and why we ended up with political economy based on governments enforcing frauds by privately controlled banks. Most people do not understand that because they have been conditioned to not want to understand that. They do not want to face the facts that the production of destruction of controls production. They want to believe that there are fundamental dichotomies between the productive people versus the predatory people. However, the actually existing situation is that there are no people who do not live as predators (and/or parasites, which is merely a question of scale and distribution of the predation.)
Of course, governments are the biggest forms of organized crime. Governments are actually military organizations, while warfare was organized crime taking place on larger and larger scales. The same basic principles and methods of organized crime were applied by the international banksters to capture control over the powers of governments, mostly through dominating all aspects of the funding of the political processes. Indeed, that social situation has been almost 99% already accomplished, as seen when one looks at the degree to which the so-called public "money" supplies have been privatized all around the world today. While everyone has some power to rob, and power to kill to back that robbery up, governments assembled and channeled those powers to rob and to kill, while then those powers were effectively privatized, by the international banksters, and the corporations that have grown up around those banksters capturing control over the public "money" supplies.
While the frequencies of appreciating those social facts is way higher in the Zero Hedge world than in the population more generally, most of those who begin to understand that governments are the biggest forms of organized crime, controlled by the best organized criminals, continue to promote bogus "solutions" based on the same old-fashioned bullshit, because they do not engage in deeper analysis.
As soon as life exists, then the death control systems direct the evolution of that life. That applies to human beings and civilization. Consistent contradictions have developed through the history of successful warfare and successful finance, since those were necessarily based upon organized crime, while those who were the biggest and the best at doing that were then able to present themselves publicly as being the opposite of what they really were. Hence, society is almost totally dominated by professional liars and immaculate hypocrites. Furthermore, there is almost nothing but a core of organized crime, surrounded by controlled opposition groups. That is the context in which people promoting the impossible ideals regarding disarmament and peace operate. They are forms of controlled opposition. They actually stay within the biggest bullies' bullshit world view based upon false fundamental dichotomies and the related impossible ideals. HOWEVER, impossible ideals actually make the opposite happen in the real world (because, after all, they ARE controlled opposition.)
The vast majority of the American people have become Zombie Sheeple, who for generation after generation have adapted to live inside systems based on legalized lies, backed by legalized violence. For a long time, the American People have NOT controlled the government of the USA, but rather, the international banksters did. Therefore, sending new atomic bombs to Germany to replace the old atomic bombs that were there fits into the agenda of the international banksters, while that makes NO sense for the vast majority of Americans. The ideals of a government of the people, by the people, for the people died a long time ago, as more and more of "We the People" became Zombie Sheeple. Instead, we now almost totally have government of the money, by the money, for the money.
Rather than the American People controlling the American Government, what is actually happening is that the ruling classes that control what the American Government actually does, and they were simultaneously preparing to impose democidal martial law in America. Overall, we are faced with a runaway, oxymoronic, scientific dictatorship, which has become globalized electronic monkey money frauds, backed by the threat of force from apes with atomic bombs. Inside that context, there is no genuine opposition that is actually more scientific about itself, which would be necessary to transform that scientific dictatorship to become genuinely more scientific about itself.
Since the political economy is based upon enforcing frauds, the vast majority of people have adapted to that situation by developing attitudes that deliberately ignore the principle of the conservation of energy as much as possible, while also deliberately misunderstanding the concept of entropy in the most absurdly backward ways possible. Hence, the vast majority of the American People do NOT come remotely close to controlling the American Governments, but rather are drowning deeper and deeper in the biggest bullies' bullshit world view, which has created a thorough Wonderland Matrix Bizarro World, where almost everything is as absurdly backward as it possibly can be, since there has been historical series of debt slaveries backed by wars based on deceits, that have generated numbers which have become debt insanities, provoking death insanities.
At the same time, about the only publicly significant opposition to that is controlled. As expressed on Zero Hedge by Cognitive Dissonance: "The absolute best controlled opposition is one that doesn't know they are controlled." They are reactionary revolutionaries, telling the mainstream morons that the "solutions" to the problems are for everyone to become better Sheeple. Those bogus "solutions" are still stuck inside of the biggest bullies' bullshit world view.
On the contrary, my view is that the only genuine solutions must necessarily become better death controls, to back up better debt controls. Doing that takes profound paradigm shifts in the ways that we perceive those systems. The promotion of false fundamental dichotomies between the productive/prey people versus the predatory/parasite people is to stay inside of the bullshit that the biggest bullies originally developed to enable them to operate as professional liars and immaculate hypocrites.
What we are actually watching now are the results of progress in physical science, through profound paradigm changes in areas like quantum mechanics and the special theory of relativity, making it possible for there now to EXIST globalized electronic money frauds, backed by murder systems which threaten to use atomic bombs. What I recommend is a series of intellectual scientific revolutions, which requires profound paradigm shifts in the ways that we perceive political problems, primarily through using UNITARY MECHANISMS, instead of continuing to rely upon various old-fashioned DUALITIES, such as expressed through false fundamental dichotomies, and the related impossible ideals.
IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS THAT POLITICAL SCIENCE MUST GO THROUGH SERIES OF PROFOUND PARADIGM SHIFTS THAT SURPASS THOSE IN PHYSICAL SCIENCE THAT MADE ELECTRONIC FRAUDS, BACKED BY ATOMIC BOMBS, ABLE TO EXIST!

Made it through the entire post but I felt you got a little existential in the middle. I am not a philosophical guru but I have read a little philosophy. When I was a young man I would contemplate never "stepping in the same river twice" and then "never stepping in the same river once". But as I grew older I guess the Redneck in me came out and I said "Who gives a shit, I stepped in the river". Can we all think logically and do what is best? I struggle every day to do what is best. I try but the world and those around and my own flaws keep me from this. But I have learned that I can wear rose colored glasses and everything always looks grand, and good people get hurt in the process. I live several hundred miles from the nearest ocean, and if there were a nuclear war between the US and Russia, there are facilities within 20 miles of me that would get hit and hit hard. The missile silos across the west and midwest would also get shithammered. Understand that groundbursts produce the most fallout, figure out what is a target near you, and learn the prevailing wind patterns, including those patterns up where airplanes fly.
During the first half of WW2 British aerial brigades in charge of destroying German military infrastructure had such piss-poor targeting systems and reconnaissance that less than 3% of all bombs dropped hit targets. So, having enjoyed such high failure rate they instead switched to what they called a "morale destabilization" campaign.
