French Joblessness Surges To Record High

Tyler Durden's picture

Since Francois Hollande was elected (in May 2012), France has seen its joblessness ranks rise 36 of 39 months by a stunning 648,000. The lastest month added another 20,000 as it appears the brief respite in June and July is well and truly over. At 3.571 million, this is the highest number of jobseekers France has ever had...

Record high joblessness, well played Hollande!

Is it time for a convergence?

Actually, you are correct.  ...and I'm not being sarcastic.  The faster France and the rest of Europe wake up and understand what the REAL CONSEQUENCES of their economic and immigration policies are, the faster a massive race/religious war gets kicked off and they rid themselves of the parasites - both foreign and domestic!

I don't know why anyone would care what to call them...the REAL issue, and what everyone should be asking is why do our leaders seem so intent on pulling these folks in? It sure as shit ain't out of the goodness of their hearts, you KNOW that. So what then?

Simple. They have encouraged the outsourcing of your jobs because their big corporate friends begged, cajoled, threatened and promised a new Golden Age would follow if they could only do this...Oh, and a few tax breaks. Yep, THEN the whole thing will really get rolling...

The Golden Age didn't arrive, and now they are starting to feel the pinch from all the decreased payroll tax receipts. They never thought of that because they were blinded by greed and hubris, and used magical thinking to convince themselves that SOMETHING would come along and fix the problem before they got called on it.

They were wrong, and they know it. And they are seeing the demographics, and starting to realize this is a long-term trend they've set in motion, and won't be 'snapping back' in their lifetimes because they have done STRUCTURAL damage to the economy.

You know what? Those refugees, all the people on the move these days, come from countries that pull the same or worse on their people as our leaders pull on us. They make the smart choice, the choice that gives them the best odds. Keep in mind that there is NOTHING wrong with that. One does not have to have ulterior motives to recognize the obvious advantages of getting out of Dodge when necessary. The question is where do you go?

Well, you go to the better place. And at the moment that's us. So here they come...If your only problem is that they've come to YOU, and you aren't asking why, well then, c'mon. All they are doing is relocating their operations in order to maximize their profit potential. They can't be held accountable for the disruptions this causes...change, like shit, happens, and the Luddites who reject progress will just have to adapt or die. If you have a problem with THAT, then maybe ask why so many think it's a perfectly reasonable argument when made by global corporations or mealy-mouthed politicians. My point is that these folks are doing on an individual basis the same damned thing we allow large corporations to do. We allow them to seek their own profit regardless of the social and financial costs to our society. Society is expected to make the sacrifices and accommodations to their desire to grow and profit. This, we are told, drives innovation, which will make up for any initial cost to society. We have apparently already 'accepted' this argument, so should not be surprised to see it used again with this issue, because our leaders WANT these folks to come. Any blame being placed on the refugees in general is wasted...like blaming the 200 cats in the double-wide for taking advantage of the double-wide's crazy owner who keeps putting food out and saying it's because her heart breaks over the poor starving kitties...
TPTB have convinced themselves (wrongly I believe), that their tapped-out and unemployed domestic revenue base can be refreshed and replenished with this wave of eager migrants, and every dying Western economy is grabbing for fistfuls of warm bodies. They envision them all taking 2-3 crap payroll jobs, living 10 to a room, and going on a debt-fueled spending spree at the Rent to Own store to furnish the shack with the balloon mortgage they conned them into 'buying' with "No money down!".

When you see these refugees, remember that they are not to blame for their situation, most are victims themselves, put there to take YOUR place because you've been squeezed dry...The problems created are FULLY the responsibility of the West's batshit crazy fucking cat lady governments. They keep putting more food out.

Overly pessimistic. When European men realise it's "fight or die", they will choose to fight and that includes any fellow

European men who stand in their way. If I were in charge, I'd deal with the latter first and they'll be easy to deal with,

Ah, the 'ol French surrender jokes !

These old English racist jokes have been revivified since 2003 by the hate of american warmongers against France, and this hate still persists even in ZH.

All this ugly disdain and nasty jokes come from the firm refusal of the French to join America in Irak, in 2003.

Since France refused to go to Iraq, American warmongers and neo-cons made French army look like cowards – as a punishment.

But History has proved the French were right, and that the WMD were only a dirty trick to serve as a pretext.

Nevertheless, the hate of American warmongers against France remains still there, well alive, even in ZH.

This stale hate still shows through "innocent good jokes" about the “surrender monkeys” and their white flags

As for the rest, the French can be proud of their Military History:

According to the British historian Niall Ferguson, since 387 BC, France has fought 168 major wars against such badasses as the Roman Empire, the British Army and the Turkish forces. Their track record isn't too shabby, either: They've won 109, lost 49 and drawn 10 times.

This makes France the most successful military power in European history - in terms of number of fought and won …

The French have succeeded to conquer and guard the largest country in Europe.

In Europe they told me that when the allowed some of the Eastern European nations into the Eurozone, the msm told them that there would be 60,000 or so people moving West in search of employment.  Instead they got 300,000.

Now, with even more immigrants suddenly deciding to leave Turkey and move into Western Europe, you have to realize that this is being orchestrated.

Who is the shepherd that is leading the flock?  Do all roads lead to Goldman-Sachs?  Crush the system and then scoop up all the assets left behind?

But remember the Germans and the French (and maybe others) got an exception for, like, seven years to not have to allow Eastern Europeans into their job market when those countries (silly them) joined the European Union.  The Germans call it "Lohndumping".

Sounds like the solution to this economic quandry is definitely to import a few million Mohammedan men, aged 18-35.  What can possibly go wrong?  Just ask how wonderful the 'exchange' of 'customs' has gone for the Swedes.

In case you are wondering what the opinion is from another rich culture, let us consult Rabbi Touitou:

Le mashia’h [messie] ne viendra que quant Edom, l’Europe, la chrétienté sera totalement tombée. Donc je vous pose la question : “C’est une bonne nouvelle que l’islam envahisse l’Europe ?”. C’est une excellente nouvelle, ça annonce la venue du mashia’h. Excellente nouvelle.

In English:

The Mashiach [messiah] will only come when Edom, Europe, Christendom have totally fallen. So, I ask you: "It is good news that Islam is invading Europe?". This is excellent news; it announces the coming of Mashiach. Excellent news.

Sounds like a great idea.  It's wonderful the French are behind it 100%.  Remember, Zsa Zsa Gabor got fined (twice!) complaining about the influx of immigrants.  What better way to teach your citizens tolerance than to hold up a famous actress to ridicule?  I'm sure it will work out well for the cutting-edge progressive French.  I can't wait to see the new Burka fashions on the model runways.

The “socialist” Holland, along with Minister of Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius have been a disaster for France, pushing for an escalation of the war on Syria and more austerity at home. The result- refugees are going to Europe, escaping economic devastation and increasing violence in the ME- a direct consequence of over a decade of US/NATO sponsored wars. France along with Spain and Portugal will be the next EU economic train wrecks, following Greece to economic ruin. Expect continuing high unemployment, anemic job growth and increasing poverty.

France is doing better than the US.

The French labor Precipation rate is 64%+, the American labor preticipation rate is 62.6%, so the French job market is better than the US job market.

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/france/unemployment-rate

http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS11300000

The US is reporting unemployment in the 5% range and the French are reporting 10% unemployment. So obviouly the defination of who is included in the unemployment statistics is different in France than in the US.

Tha said, the artical is about unemployment increases while Hollende has been in office, year over year. Since large portions of economic policy in Europe are controled by the Euro, I think the more revelant question would be how has France's economy preformed relative to other Eurozone economys.
