Fed Refuses To Comment On Yellen's Health

Tyler Durden's picture

While the world was focused on the content of Yellen's Thursday speech in Amherst for clues on whether the Fed Chair would back off her disturbingly dovish outlook on the world, what was the real surprise was the delivery: as we showed previously, there was a very troubling 100 second interval at the very end of the 50 minute, 5,000+ word speech, in which the 69-year old Yellen suddenly seemed unable to read the words on the page, was rereading the same phrase over and over, paused for long stretches at a time, and then had a violent reaction that forced her to end her speech prematurely. Watch it again below.

In the aftermath of the incident, a narrative was quickly cobbled together that Yellen had suffered from dehydration, but based on her actions and behavior, that seems improbable.

But more disturbing was the Fed's reaction. As the WSJ reports, a Federal Reserve spokeswoman declined Friday to say if Chairwoman Janet Yellen resumed a normal work schedule or sought follow-up medical attention a day after she appeared ill near the end of a long speech in Amherst, Mass. Ms. Yellen returned to Washington on Friday.

From the WSJ:

The Fed chairwoman, 69 years old, faltered roughly 50 minutes into a lecture on the economy and inflation Thursday at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She stumbled over her prepared text, paused for long stretches several times, missed and jumbled some words in the text, and coughed before concluding her speech and leaving the stage.

The stumbles were unusual for Ms. Yellen, who has spoken at length in the past at congressional testimony, news conferences and other settings without appearing off-balance.

The Fed spokeswoman, Michelle Smith, on Thursday said Ms. Yellen “felt dehydrated at the end of a long speech under bright lights” and was seen by emergency medical technicians as a precaution, but “felt fine afterward” and attended a dinner on campus.

Bloomberg News reported Ms. Yellen appeared fine after her dinner and flew back to Washington on Friday from Hartford, Conn., telling fellow passengers at the airport that she felt better. “I look good now, don’t I?” she said, according to the news outlet.

Ms. Smith said Friday she didn’t want to comment beyond the Thursday statement.

Why the secrecy? In the New centrally-planned Normal, in which everything is a function of money printing, where the S&P500 is always just one Fed statement away from a crash, and where the head of the Federal Reserve is ostensibly a far more powerful figure than even the US president (a figure whose health is extensively evaluated for suitability ahead of the job), the public has a right and an obligation to know how fit to serve Yellen truly is, because whatever Thursday's two minute swoon was, it was not mere dehydration.

Finally as we showed by the market reaction...

... equity futures most certainly took the sudden concerns about Yellen's health into consideration when making buying and selling decision. Perhaps it is time to discuss just how credible and realistic the Fed's contingency plans  are in a world in which Yellen is no longer fit to serve - a world in which former Bank of Israel head Stanley Fischer would be poised to take control over the world's most important central bank?

Ms. Yellen, you need to get to a hospital immediately !   / A hospital ?!  what is it ?!   /  It's a big white building where all the doctors are, but that's not important right now . . . .

When you go through a TMI the world seems like the living dead.  You know something is wrong but you have no reference for what is wrong and why.  Sometimes your brain works and then you return to the fog half dead world.  Since you have no reference of what and why something is wrong you try to carry on as if you would on a normal day…because that is your point of reference.

That is what she was doing.  Fog, brain works, fog, living dead world, carry on as if everything was normal.

The docs will do stints and she should be back in a week.  You never really recover but higher level thinking can still work.  Lower level thinking is what gets damaged the most.  3+9, 4+232.

The signal sent by her, obviously unintentional, will be a future discussion piece.  This is the financial system falling apart right in the middle of the Queen on the throne giving her speech to the masses.  The FED is dead.  The signal sent is clear.  The body is dying, the rate hike dictum irrelevant, the message completely lost but the subliminal message loud and clear.  The FED is dying and they have done this to themselves.

Now lets get back to talking about rate hikes, as if they will ever choose to do so.... lmao.

I think she keep seeing The Cat. The tear in the fabric is haunting her.

It kept reappearing on the pages of her speech. She threw up a little.

Actually she just choked on a baby bone, a small tibia perhaps ingested with Ben and the other luciferians at the bacchanalia..

The fraud, deceit and corruption and destruction of America's middle class is too big for her to handle.

When they do an MRI of her head to check for stroke damage, they may actually find she has a tiny bit of conscience in there, between the amygdala and hypothalamus.

Good news is that we have Stanley Fischer as the FED vice chair waiting to take over for her.

Everyone should pray that your genetics don't make you a viable host for her symbiont. Compatible hosts are rare and you will disappear without a trace if your makeup makes you a candidate. Then a year or so later after some minor cosmetic changes someone who looks like you ends up the ruler of some third world country. They have to take whichever host is available when a changeout is necessary. Do you think she chose to look like that?

Youtube has recorded visual examples of TIAs. This was a classic. They are very scary when you are the sufferer and unfortunately can lead to major stroke events. My doctor said all you can do is stay

hydrated and go on an aspirin regimen. Hope she's ok. Just trying to serve her country, nothing wrong with that, politics aside.

Colonel Klink's picture

Just trying to serve her country?  Which is that?  Israel?

Fuck that bitch!  She sits in Satan's lair and we're just supposed to give her a pass because she's sick.

Hope she fucking drops dead, then they'll have to find a way to remove Stanley Fisher's hand from up her ass.

Christ, I would say she is beyond sick, and has one foot in the grave already.

There is no doubt that she was having a mild stroke -- probably not her first or last, and she knows all the toxic fecal matter she is sputtering is all complete bullshit.  It's like getting up in front of an audience of terminally ill cancer patients and telling them "everything will be ok", and looking them in the eye knowing far well that they will all be pushing up daisies next week.  Something big is coming down the pipe soon, and she knows it.

I guess being the front-cunt of the zionist jewish banking overlords and selling their ponzi scheme wears down even one of Baphomet's disciples after awhile.  If Yellen drops off, another will just take her place and continue leading the biggest racket in the history of this planet.   The Fed needs to be ended.

Kaervek's picture

Not so sure about that. She doesn't have to look anyone in the eye except her masters and you can't know if all the lying really wears down on her or if it's all the alcohol, coffee or whatever drugs she is taking to feel superior. I do not believe she has any conscience left whatsoever.

They always find some shithead to peddle their bogus ponzi and they reward them well. Maybe she doesn't even know shit about economics and just reads out whatever statement she is given by her secretary.

SilverFish's picture

Yeah, nothing wrong with playing your part in destroying the economy, as long as you're doing it in the name of "serving your country". That's totally cool. Nothing wrong with that, not at all.

Tiger, if you mean she is only trying to serve America, she is doing nothing of the sort. She is assisting the biggest scammers on Earth to asset strip Americans and anybody else they can corner. And she knows it.

That said, she is too old and obviously too sick for such a critical position. While she has access to that kind of widespread financial power, she puts us all at risk. She is fully aware that the Fed is a racket. She should cash out before she makes things worse.

There's always another Fed swindler to take her place.
