I disagree : The Constitution defined the core issues of being human and thereby allowed us to get along with each other, religious and cultural differences cannot be allowed to over-ride our responsibilities as civilized beings. Volkswagen AG and Ford Motor Co. are sticking with long-planned investments in Russian engine factories even as car sales there head toward a six-year low.
Volkswagen opened a 250 million-euro ($279 million) plant on Friday, with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev attending the inaugural ceremony. The factory near Kaluga, an industrial city southwest of Moscow where Volkswagen already produces vehicles, will have capacity to make 150,000 engines a year for Russian-made VW-brand and Skoda cars, helping reduce prices, Marcus Osegowitsch, head of the carmaker’s Russian unit, said at the event.

Russia and the US will resume talks on a joint mission to study Venus — a year after sanctions stopped the talks, head of the Space Research Institute Lev Zeleny said on Monday. “The negotiations will begin early next week,” he told TASS. Prior to that, during a news conference in Moscow he said talks on a joint mission to study Venus “were due a year ago,” but were stopped because of the sanctions against Russia. He said the mission may take place after 2025. “The NASA delegation has been discussing the project as a joint one,” he said. The project will use Russia’s Venera-D (Venera is Venus in Russian), where “D” stands for Dolgozhivuschaya (long-lasting) — the first Russian project in the post-Soviet period aimed to explore Venus.

IDF soldiers were caught on film apparently breaking a camera and attacking photo journalists during clashes in the West Bank village of Bet Furik on Friday.
The clashes took place in the village, which is just east of Nablus, after the funeral of Ahmad Khatatbeh, a Palestinian who died after being shot by troops during an attempted attack on IDF checkpoint last week.
Palestinian youths took to the streets after the funeral and began clashing with IDF troops in the village.
During the clashes, the soldiers were filmed pushing back two photographers from the French news agency AFP, who were standing alongside them. One of the soldiers is seen picking up the photographer's camera from the ground and smashing it on the road, the soldier then tosses the camera off to the side.

It’s certainly not the first time the FBI has engaged in the harassment of political dissidents. Indeed, the FBI’s surveillance of antiwar activists dates back to at least World War I, to include surveillance of Nobel Peace Prize winner Jane Addams. The bureau has been an equal opportunity abuser of the rights of antiwar activists, whether on the left (like Addams and the FRSO) or on the libertarian side of the spectrum.
These incidents, while separated in time by nearly 100 years, also share another feature. No FBI agent or manager has ever been fired or prosecuted for violating the constitutional rights of those individuals or groups wrongly surveilled, harassed or charged.
Just four days prior to the FBI raids against the Anti-War Committee and the FRSO, the Department of Justice Inspector General [IG] released the results of an investigation into post-9/11 surveillance of peace groups and other domestic dissidents up through 2006.
Let me be very open with the FBI (and any other US "alphabet soup"- named agency): I am a Christian pacifist who never endorses, or condones, violence: DEAL WITH IT!

Limbaugh read from a U.S. News & World Report article on the finding, saying, "quote, 'Eons ago, ancient Mars had "an extensive atmosphere," along with "an ocean two-thirds the size of the northern hemisphere and a mile deep," said Jim Green, director of planetary science at NASA said during a press conference on Monday.'
The Carbonazis have tried to use Mars as a scarecrow, claiming that if we humans do not change our ways, Earth will lose most of its atmosphere and water the way Mars did.
But there is another factor they are ignoring.
If you look at a height map of Mars...
... you will notice a huge bulge in the planet underneath the Tharsis region, where the massive volcanoes are located. On almost the opposite side of Mars is a feature called Hellas, which is clearly the remains of a massive impact.
An impact sufficient to create such a vast crater and bulge out the opposite side of Mars, would "splash" the planet's atmosphere and water out into space, and I suggest that this event, rather than Martian Caused Barsoomic Warming, is why Mars has scant atmosphere and water today.
