Trump On Syrian Refugees: "If I Win, They're Going Back"

Tyler Durden's picture

"It's living in hell in Syria. They are living in hell," according to Donald Trump, blaming President Obama's failed policies. However, in a reversal of policy - earlier this month he told Fox News the US should take in more refugees - Trump told a New Hampshire rally: "If I win, they're going back."

Donald Trump has said he would send home all Syrian refugees the US accepts, if he becomes president.

As The BBC reports,

The billionaire, who is the current frontrunner in the Republican race for the White House, told a New Hampshire rally: "If I win, they're going back."

It marks a reversal in policy - earlier this month he told Fox News the US should take in more refugees.

...

On Wednesday night, Mr Trump told an audience at Keene High School: "I hear we want to take in 200,000 Syrians. And they could be - listen, they could be Isis [Islamic State]."

Describing them as a "200,000-man army", he later added: "I'm putting the people on notice that are coming here from Syria as part of this mass migration, that if I win, if I win, they're going back."

However... when asked whether he thought some of the migrants travelling into Europe should be allowed in the US, the business mogul said:

"I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis, with what's happening, you have to."

He blamed President Barack Obama for the crisis and added: "It's living in hell in Syria. They are living in hell."

Oh my Goat! This is truly hilarious!

According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), October 1, 2015 - Military airstrikes continue against ISIL terrorists in Syria and Iraq

*In Syria

Near Mar’a, one airstrike destroyed two ISIL excavators.

Two freaking excavators???

You can’t make this shit up! ;-)

I seriously hope Trump wins the GOP nomination, because that would seal forever its fate at being a viable political choice. Don't get me wrong, I find the man thoroughly entertaining. God knows, such drama is an escape from the bleak political landscape of the 2016 election. However, the man is a comic narcissist, and not to be taken seriously. No educated person with any semblance of common sense would back him for president. And it's not because of that animal of hair living on his head. And not because he's stinking rich. It's because his ideals, while striking a chord with the most disaffected white people among us, is not inclusive and, in fact, seeks to persecute those who are different. He is not evil, but he is ignorant. And ignorance is dangerous.

Not a reversal. When this began it looked like a refugee crisis, now it looks like a purposeful migration of young men. Donald, as usual, woke up first. The rest of the GOP will soon follow if they want the job.

That said, we stirred this up in the first place. If these were old ladies and men and little kids, I'd say welcome more. President Pimp wants to send the Christians back, only wants Muslims.

"This place is so far down the sewer pipe I doubt it can be saved."

I think that could be said of most places around the world.

Too many people shuffled around (no community), too numerous the "money" (no power to the individual), too much in taking (no productivity), too little in giving (no spiritual growth).

All this evil need not have happened at all, and it is all from the effects of central banking / ponzi finance and sovereign state and territorial dissolution. Rid the world of central banking and ponzi finance, and suddenly all these wars against everything cannot be funded because, guess what - all people have to be responsible in world of non-infinite "money," or Darwin comes for ya.

Don't you wish we could just blast off into space to somewhere cooler? (honestann thinks so!)

Black Sabbath - Into the Void

"Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky they blast
Through the universe the engines whine
Could it be the end of man and time
Back on earth the flame of life burns low
Everywhere is misery and woe
Pollution kills the air, the land and sea
Man prepares to meet his destiny, yeah

Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the black sky so vast
Burning metal through the atmosphere
Earth remains in worry, hate and fear
With the hateful battles raging on
rockets flying to the glowing sun
Through the empires of eternal void
Freedom from the final suicide

Freedom fighters sent out to the sun
escape from brainwashed minds and pollution.
Leave the earth to all its sin and hate
find another world where freedom waits.

Past the stars in fields of ancient void
Through the shields of darkness where they find
Love upon a land a world unknown
where the sons of freedom make their home
Leave the earth to Satan and his slaves
leave them to their future in their grave
Make a home where love is there to stay
Peace and Happiness in everyday"

And you really believe, 1) he'd actually do it if elected and, 2) he'd be able to do it if elected...? C'mon....at the very best case scenario, he'd put up the idea, they'd take a poll of House & Senate, find that there is absolutely no way in hell either of those entities are going to take a fund cut, much less get cut out completely and he'd put his arms up and out with a "Well, I can only do so much..." Same with kicking any refugees out or doing anything in the way of mass deportation...he can talk all he wants but he's already burned enough bridges, he's not capable of garnering anything close to bipartisan support.  He'd be as much of a divider as Obama even if he's light years better overall.

A non-partisan commentary I found on the whole lip-service-only immigration issue:

Trump says that the Chinese and Mexicans are our enemies because they are “taking American jobs.”  Or do American businessmen (Trump is an American businessman) send American factories to China, knowing that it will devastate the American economy?

Does a Mexican take an American’s job by putting a pistol to his head and saying, “Geeve me the shoffel or I weel blow your brines out”? Or do American businessmen (Trump is an American businessman) hire illegals, and encourage them to come, knowing perfectly well that they are illegal?

I will believe that Trump is serious about deporting illegals when he proposes to slap on employers a fine of $500 per day, per illegal, half to go anonymously to the informant if any, this to go into effect after a month’s grace period. It presumably could be packaged as enforcement of existing law, and therefore not require congressional approval. It would place the burden of verification squarely where it belongs, on the American businessmen who know well that they are hiring illegals.

The trouble with this approach is that it would work. Immediately. Slaughterhouses, farms, orchards, and construction firms would go tits-up. American businessmen (have I mentioned that Trump is an American businessman?) would suffer the consequences of doing what they knew they were doing. But of course American consumers would also suffer the consequences. So it won’t happen.

An explicit question that needs an explicit answer: Who is going to replace the illegals? Answer: No one.

A guest-worker program would do the trick. Ah, but here we come to the matter of hidden agendas. American businessmen oppose amnesty and guest-worker programs because they want the illegals to remain illegal so they can’t organize and demand better pay and working conditions. But the same businessmen do not want them deported. And of course welfare for immigrants is a subsidy to American businessmen: If the government pays Pedro half of a living wage, then Wal-Mart has to pay him only the other half.

It is so very simple: If you hire them, they will come. If you don’t, they won’t. The problem in seven words, the solution in five.

The first sentence of you "non-partisan commentary" starts with a lie.

Trump does not claim "Chinese and Mexicans are our enemies".  He has repeatedly and explicitly said jobs are going to those countries because of lousy deals done by DC.  He has laid the blame on American political leaders. He has warned US business that he will institute policies that penalise them for moving factories elsewhere.

Likewise he has blamed DC for allowing the illegal alien crisis.

Any commentary that starts with a lie about someone is hardly "non-partisan".

This from the presidential candidate that wants Russia to clean up the mess we made in Iraq, Libya and Syria by saying the U.S. MIC is just "jealous"...

Then he tells CBS news Scott Pelley that all the manufacturing jobs we've released to India and China over the past two decades are "just coming back" if he's elected?!!!....

Can't believe I agree with a Zionist piece of shit on this topic, but if "the Donald" fits?... Plus the fact she's a damn good artist with the Kotex!

I would take refugees, teach them a new trade (parachuting and defending their own country) then give them a one way ticket back home to practice their new trade.

Beyond Donald Trump and the whole circus... What would it be like if there was a leader who actually cared about Americans?  How many people can remember such a time?

Without a proper figurehead, the State loses moral legitimacy in the eyes of the masses it dominates.  If they can't come up with a credible crony, the State will fail.  Those who own the State cannot conceive of this outcome, and therefore it is assured.

What comes next may actually be an improvement.

The man is NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.  He may be an announced candidate, he is giving speeches, but he is NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.

People who run for President have campaigns, Trump has no campaign.
