Russia Claims ISIS Now On The Ropes As Fighters Desert After 60 Airstrikes In 72 Hours

Tyler Durden's picture

One question that’s been asked repeatedly over the past thirteen months is why Washington has been unable to achieve the Pentagon’s stated goal of “degrading and defeating” ISIS despite the fact that the “battle” pits the most advanced air force on the planet against what amounts to a ragtag band of militants running around the desert in basketball shoes.

Those of a skeptical persuasion have been inclined to suggest that perhaps the US isn’t fully committed to the fight. Explanations for that suggestion range from the mainstream (the White House is loathe to get the US into another Mid-East war) to the “conspiratorial” (the CIA created ISIS and thus doesn’t want to destroy the group due to its value as a strategic asset).

The implication in all of this is that a modern army that was truly determined to destroy the group could likely do so in a matter of months if not weeks and so once Russia began flying sorties from Latakia, the world was anxious to see just how long the various rebel groups operating in Syria could hold up under bombardment by the Russian air force.

The answer, apparently, is “less than a week.”

On Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense said it has conducted 60 bombing runs in 72 hours, hitting more than 50 ISIS targets.

According to the ministry (Facebook page is here), Islamic State fighters are in a state of “panic” and more than 600 have deserted.

Here's what happens when the Russians locate a terrorist "command center":

According to The Kremlin, the structure shown in the video is (or, more appropriately, "was") "an ISIS hardened command centre near Raqqah." Su-34s hit it with concrete-piercing BETAB-500s setting off a series of explosions and fires that "completely destroyed the object."

Here's RT:

Surgical airstrikes by Russian fighter jets have knocked out a number of Islamic State installations in Syria, including the battle headquarters of a jihadist group near Raqqa, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“Over the past 24 hours, Sukhoi Su-34 and Su-24M fighter jets have performed 20 sorties and hit nine Islamic State installations,” Igor Konashenkov, Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman, reported.

Konashenkov added that yesterday evening Russian aircraft went on six sorties, inflicting strikes on three terrorist installations.

“A bunker-busting BETAB-500 air bomb dropped from a Sukhoi Su-34 bomber near Raqqa has eliminated the command post of one of the terror groups, together with an underground storage facility for explosives and munitions,” the spokesman said.

Commenting on the video filmed by a Russian UAV monitoring the assault near Raqqa, Konashenkov noted, “a powerful explosion inside the bunker indicates it was also used for storing a large quantity of munitions.

“As you can see, a direct hit on the installation resulted in the detonation of explosives and multiple fires. It was completely demolished,” the spokesman said.

And here's the Russian Defense Ministry taking a page out of the US Postal Service's "neither rain, sleet, snow, nor hail" book on the way to serving notice that nothing is going to stop the Russian air force from exterminating Assad's enemies in Syria:

Twenty-four hours a day #UAV's are monitoring the situation in the ISIS activity areas. All the detected targets are effectively engaged day and night in any weather conditions.

Now obviously one must consider the source here, but Kremlin spin tactics aside, one cannot help but be amazed with the pace at which this is apparently unfolding. If any of the above is even close to accurate, it means that Russia is on schedule to declare victory over ISIS (and everyone else it looks like) in a matter of weeks, which would not only be extremely embarrassing for Washington, but would also effectively prove that the US has never truly embarked on an honest effort to rid Syria of the extremist groups the Western media claims are the scourge of humanity.

Summed up in 10 priceless seconds...

Obama (along with the rest of the Deep State) was targeting Russia well before that debate - the plans to destabilize Ukraine and Syria were already under way.

Romney made the mistake of saying it publicly, and Obama made him pay for it - the plebes weren't supposed to know yet that that was the plan.

I imagine Putin's rules of engagement go like this: 1) Find them. 2) Kill them. 3) Break their stuff.

That said, if history is any guide, airstrikes still aren't going to be enough. Boots on the ground will be required. Hence Iran.....

The former community organizer.

Putin is in Syria because he had no other option if he wanted to save his puppet and naval base.

Ergo, he has already lost round one by being forced to commit Russian assets and spend Russian money that he can ill afford to squander. From a simple attrition standpoint, this is not good news for the Russians.

You guys can gobble up the Early Days propaganda if you want, but Putin cannot sustain aerial operations in a harsh desert environment for long without the sortie rate falling off considerably. Months of quiet intelligence gathering generated a target list that will soon be invalid and future intel will be much harder to come by and less likely to be actionable by the time it arrives.

If you think there is any difference between the relative levels of Obama's ruthlessness and Putin's ruthlessness, you are mistaken. Obama gets to fight with cheap disposable islamic kooks. Putin has been forced to commit politically valuable Russians, whose loss will cause him great problems at home.

I well remember the amazing feats performed by the USAF in the early stages of the campaign in Afghanistan. What Russia is accomplishing now is but a pale shadow of that achievement, but regardless of its accomplishments, it too will fade and the war will widen and become much more costly to Russia. The US has a 17 T economy and the world's reserve currency. Russia has a 2 T economy that is being strangled by western sanctions and the Saudi proxy war on other oil producers.

Putin has made his move, one that Russia has never risked before. The ball is frankly in Obama's court at this point. He can drop his plans or he can keep them static and see how things work out or he can escalate.

These two guys HATE each other. Obama, at least, has a very clear record of playing for keeps against those he dislikes at whatever the cost, and I doubt Mr. Trained-To-Take-It-Up-The-Wazoo KGB agent Putin is any different.

My personal expectation is for Putin to make some early gains that are ludicrously inflated into smashing Operation Bagration-level victories a la RT and ZH coverage. After that, we'll see. If Obama wants to escalate, he has many ways in which to make this adventure prohibitively expensive to a country that cannot blow trillions of dollars on ego trips. But make no mistake, this is now a clash of two gargantuan egos that are not going to sound retreat.

2003 was the start of WWIII - which is just ramping up now and which ends with the giant debt "reset" button being pressed.

Nice try. All wars are not bankster wars. Just off the top of my head, I remember the one in Central America that started over a soccer game. Bolivia has no coastline because it lost it to Chile in a war over bird shit. The many wars of the Plains Indians with one another did not involve a single banker. Helen of Troy was not a teller. Hannibal was an elephant herder, not a pawn broker. Spartacus did not seek to cancel his student loans.

Apart from that, I certainly agree that nobody is getting their money back but you are attempting to limit the discussion to American liabilities. Nobody is getting their money back from russia, the EU. Japan, China, anywhere and everywhere. When the debt scheme collapses, it is taking everybody down with it. Which is what I said above.

Again, we'll see.

You guys tend to adopt a straight-line view of imperial foundation, rise and decline that seems a little too simplistic for me. Many empires are beset with crises, reorganize and emerge with an additional lease on life. Until you are dancing on Washington's grave, you should suspend judgment on the American capacity to adapt and overcome.

That the US government is firmly in the hands of the same species of evil Continental philosophers as your own unfortunate country, as Russia, as China, as everyone everywhere, I have no doubt at all. For someone who claims the mantle of Winston Churchill to suppose that America is beaten even while the clouds are still gathering is rather a slur on the indomitability of that great half-American man.

No doubt America stands increasingly alone in the world. Since the whole world is rocketing towards one-world government with a restored aristocracy at the top, I'm not sure that's such a bad thing. Do not mistake the one-worlders in the US government for America, however. Especially since your own country has already fallen so far into their snare that people are being encouraged to surrender their knives at public drop-boxes. Our government is only doing your dirty work for you while you all piously denounce it as evil.

We will have to fight our government, your government, and everyone else's government all at the same time but we shall not go down into the same hell of subservience to the new overlords as you will.

The US has no economy. The US has only the appearance of the economy and the myth of a strong economy. United States - a country bankrupt, that every day and every year, consumes two times more than it produces.
The share of the US contribution to world GDP - 23%
The share of US consumption of world GDP - 42%.

Main export item in the structure of US exports - is the export dollars.
It is not the economy. It's called economy of consumption in debt. That is, the United States - a country the parasite without any economy, except the economy of the pyramid of debt.

You could not argue anything to me basically my assertions.
Have you tried using a personal insult the interlocutor in order to disguise the lack of your basic knowledge in the field of economy.
Therefore, only what you do well, it's a personal insult the interlocutor.

I will explain this to you:

There are countries with a budget surplus, and there are countries with a deficit budget.

Countries with a surplus - these are the countries that produce more than they consume. For example Russia, China or India. Net international reserves of these countries is continuously growing and growing against their net debt. (See The ratio of debt to GDP)

Countries with budget deficit are those countries that produce less than they consume. For example the United States, Britain and Japan. Net debt of these countries are growing against their net international reserves. (See The ratio of debt to GDP again)

Russia, China or India, this countries who live by their labor and their resources.
US, Britain and Japan are the countries that live off the labor and resources of other countries.

What would happen if right now deprive the US monopoly to print the global currency?
The entire economy of the United States and all the institutions of the United States will collapse like a house of cards, deprived of its the PAPER base.
This means that the so-called "US economy" is based only on the exclusive right of the US to print US dollars and thus endlessly consume in debt resources, products and goods from all the world.

Excuse me, but this is not the concept of the economy. This is the concept of parasitism by the resources and labor of other countries and peoples. QED.

But for attacks on moderate terrorists, we use our moderate ammo only.

China stands with China, or so they think. They hate the people who stole their Mongolian territories almost as much as they hate the Americans who prevent them from snuffing out the government of dissent enshrined on Taiwan.

But I have little doubt that they would be happy to do anything in their power to help with the outbreak of a US-Russian war. Anything, that is, except get in the middle of it.

Fear not, however. Every one of these governments, and all others to boot, are in service to the same dark master. The decision between war and peace rests with him. If he says march, they will all jerk into motion regardless of what their individual will may be.

Pray to the dark lord for his favor, protection, and riches. He can make a KGB assrape boy King of Russia. He can make an undocumented Communist Lord of the Land of the Enlightenment. Twice. My friend, Russia has long had a lot of satellites over Syria. You can not move anything or build in Syria, that it was not seen in Moscow in real time. In Syria, you can not even urinate at the side of the road so that the Russian army did not know about it.

We'll see. Let's look at that original headline-- 60 strikes in 72 hours, or 20 a day for 3 days. Less than one an hour. Not much of an operational tempo in an area the size of Washington State and I'm saying it's only gonna slow down from there.

Let's not forget that Assad-held Syria is effectively bankrupt and deprived of its only revenue source. Russia gets to pay for EVERYTHING now. Civilian food and energy. Governmental salaries. Pay, equipment, and supplies for the Syrian army. Plus the costs of its own growing expeditionary force.

If, as you guys so positively contend, ISIS is a pure puppet of Israel and the US, they will soon be sporting the means to make the Russian Air Force keep its distance and parading around shot-down Ivans in cages before splashing on the gas. They will soon be under orders to produce Russian body bags regardless of any other consideration. All I can say is what I said above: We'll see. Putin made his move. I believe he made it out of a lack of alternatives. You guys think it was some sort of brilliant strategem. Regardless, the deed is done and the consequences will be massive on all sides.

Many speculate on large masses of Iranians entering the theater of operations. Again, we'll see. In 1917, Germany infected Russia with Communism in order to get it out of the war. It succeeded in the immediate aim, but also ended up infecting its own soldiery who had served in Russia but at a slower rate of incubation. I'm not so certain that Iran wants any of its own troops exposed directly to ISIS-ism. Proxies like Hezbollah and other undesirables that will be liquidated anyhow in the event of a restored Persian Empire, no problem. I can foresee specially-selected cadres of advisors whose political loyalty is undoubted- but Iranian draftees, no. They dare not risk it, or so I suspect.

You just confuse between Putin and Brezhnev.
If in Syria will begin to shoot down Russian planes with the help of US MANPADS, we will see a mirror of this situation in Afghanistan.
In Afghanistan, the would shoot down US planes from the Russian MANPADS.
By the way, Russian MANPADS surpass the United States in all respects.
This MANPADS can use even a child. Preparing to launch the rocket takes only 8 seconds.

But this war for the United States, will be the last. Amen!

Oh, I don't confuse Putin with Brezhnev at all.

Brezhnev had the world's most powerful army, and it was camped in the middle of Germany for a starting point.

Brezhnev had the world's largest navy with bases all over the world.

Brezhnev had air and nuclear forces that were far more powerful than those at the disposal of his aspiring successor.

He had all of the territorial, population, and industrial resources of the Soviet Union at his disposal whereas much of that was stripped away following the collapse of the USSR.

He had a girdle of slave states on his western border and countless beholden "People's Republics" and NLFs all over the globe.

AND HE LOST

Putin can marshal nowhere near the same resources and is facing an opponent that has been perfecting its warfighting capabilities in actual hostile combat for more than a decade. What looks good on paper does not always include a proper computation for the human factors inherent in any military operation.

I can assure you of one thing, however. If their boss wants them to fight, Putin and Obama will go at it and everyone everywhere will suffer.

I revel in their petty, anonymous vindictiveness. We live in a time of universal deceit. They wish to make me believe that the WHOLE WORLD  is cheering on Mr. Putin and they may well be correct in that belief.

But that just proves my point in its entirety. If the whole world is deceived and the whole world is shaking their pom-poms for Vlad, then they are the deceived and not the enlightened remnant who see the truth. The more they pile on their red arrows, the more they prove my point.

Incidentally, you can see from this thread that I disdain to downvote those who disagree with my opinions. There is not a single red arrow on most of the comments which I have taken exception to-- and any that do exist are not from me. Voting does not make a lie the truth. It may make it the law and it may make it an adopted but mistaken impulse among the thoughtless but it does not alter the truth in any way.

Take Putin out of the picture.

We still have our incompetent Golfer in Chief and his merry band of fools at the helm of State.

Which part of everything Obama and his minions has ever touched has turned into a steaming pile of shit do you discount? It means something no matter how you spin it.

If we only had a leader with 1/2 of Putin's leadership. Instead, we have a fucking community organizing failure.

I pray for the USA.

Which part of his failures do I discount? None of them. He is destroying this country.

But don't make the mistake of assuming that Obama's leadership and Putin's are not jointly bringing the world to the place that their master desires. If they were to trade places tomorrow, Putin would be busy selling America down the river and Obama would be busy stoking the belief that Russia is big and bad enough to tackle the US. Their master desires this collison and they are both faithful servants carrying out his wishes.

I pray for everyone, regardless of where they live or what subverted earthly cause they have been sucked into believing. May God run with them all and see them and their families safely through this approaching time of mighty terror and destruction.

Poorly read Tarabel. Putin is in Syria because he has no other choice - it's that or fold to the ZWO and probably die.

So...if this does look like turning into another Vietnam, Putin will not accept it. He will widen the war to include his direct enemies - he will have nothing to lose.
The US was not in that postion in Vietnam. For the States, Vietnam was business. For Putin, this is a death struggle.

The Zionists have awoken the bear. Let's see if they are so dumb as to think backing it into a corner is a bright idea.

We are regular people who are fed up with lies and deception that comes from the triad known as Isreal/Saudis/USA. We are fed up with people being killed in the name of democracy. If that constitutes your definition of a troll then you are a cløwn and a troll and what Himmler called "untermenschen". In your own admission, you support killing of innocent people and you support imperialistic US warmachine. That alone puts you along side war criminals. Sanity in this world seems to be a scarce commoditiy these days.

What the US did is they landed in their own shit and exposed themselves for the whole world to see as to what is/was really going on the ME. There is no excuse or report that will change that anymore. They can squeel like pigs from Pentagon, Tel Aviv, DC and Riyadh, people have finally opened their eyes. Genie is out of the bottle.

or how about AF Skinner  - pulitzer prize winner  - former NYT who WROTE THE BOOK IN -  1953  - about false flag events and actions of military in Korea  that are the same today

As to how effective Russian airstrikes have been. The Russian have several advantages. They operate in direct contact with the Syrian Arab Army. An army that is home based in Syria, and has fought on home soil for over 4 years. Syrian Arab Army knows where ISIS is, because they fight them street by street. Russia has NO friendly terrorists to worry about hitting, they can hit anything the Syrians point them to. And, I have heard from sources in Russia that for years now the Russian Air Forces and other branches have been creating an anti terrorist Air Attack System and munitions. Not planned for a major war, but special weapons built ONLY to engage terrorists in their usual typical lairs and hideouts. Like bombs designed to hit one building, kill everyone inside, but do little to no damage outside the target building. Other bombs and missiles are designed for similar effect. This allows terrorists to die right next to civilian builidings that will remain lightly hit. How far the system is being used in Syria is hard for me to know. But Russian military has admitted they spent considerable money on anti Terrorist systems. Lets give the Russians a couple months and see if the source I have is correct.

I think Russia/Syria should give up on trying to save all of Syria and just concentrate on the Mountains westward to the sea.

And then start working with Lebanon because there is no doubt the ZioNazis of Israel are planning another attack on Lebanon so they can steal more land.

Oh really? But in January and Feb this year you were repeatedly pushing that sort of line.

Below is a post where you explicitly describe the preparatory setup for, and I quote:  "waging an all out war on Russia, to allow the USA to then pivot to Asia and destroy China ".

Well an "all out war" on either of those countries could only ever be nuclear, but because you are a propagandizing little Russian troll shit, or just a plain dimwit, you want to pretend within the post below that such a military conflict would be conventional! hahaha!  And yet elsewhere you say the exact reverse, that any such conventional attack would become immediately nuclear the moment such a force invaded Russian territory.

Moron!

And you kept on pumping that sort of idiotic pro-Moscow western military attack narrative for its propaganda troll value for months. And zh is not the only place you did it, you did it under the name "James Burton" elsewhere, as well.

You even claimed this:

"... Washington is not backing down, because this is part of the end game to destroy Russia, before American begins to collapse. In fact, the vast country of Russia is probably the ONE thing on earth that American caould conquer and save the empire for another 100 years. We ran out of frontiers, but Russia is a new one. If under US corporate and financial control, Washington could live off of expliting Russian resources for maybe 100-200 more years easily. If you wre Russian, you would know every word I said above is true and verifiable by fact. ..."

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-02-11/russia-warns-us-supplying-arms-...

hahaha!  So you're a lunatic and a retard. Hilarious stuff, but only because it's so utterly neurotic, irrational and totally pathetic.

And despite the fact that the US Army had been withdrawing its forces from the ME and sending them home to the US and downsizing the US army, after they had already deeply drawn-down their forces in Europe, during the preceding 12 years of ME warfare, you still claim they were about to attack Moscow with a land force!

hahaha!

You're a complete idiot!

The US and NATO have taken most of a year to generate the combat forces needed and bring them up to combat proficiency and readiness, and move them into the Eastern European states to merely guard them from Russian attack! And a small force it is!

But that's the mighty army (juggernaut!!!) you claim was poised to invade takeover Russia!  hahaha!!

OMG you are a fucking moron!

Saudi is going to wage this oil price war until it has destroyed both the Marginal High Cost Producers [Shale Oil, Tar Sands, Deep Water, Arctic} and layed waste to the Russian Federation. Really a win, win for the Saudi low cost producer.

The plunge has been dramatic, but oil is subject to supply and demand like few other products. Once the oil starts backing up in tanks and tankers, and the bid is not there for delivery, the price can and will fall hard and fast.

Saudi did not like the oil rush in the USA and Canada. Watching market share evaporate as these two prodcuers on the margine gained absolute share in North America. But marginal producers can be crushed by the Low Cost Producer in the Room, i.e. Saudi.

The USA has accepted the damage to US producers in Shale as the ultimate cost of waging an all out war on Russia, to allow the USA to then pivot to Asia and destroy China. We are talking about World War three being fought with economic means and by proxy wars. Soon China will see rebels in their western provinces come together around tons of money and arms supplied by the CIA.

We should stop kidding ourselves. [hahaha ... gezus! :D ] The US Neoconservatives have decided they must move now, before China grows bigger, and before Russia modernizes it's economy. All aggressors know that you fight a One Front War, if you want to win. Thus congress declared war on Russia, and Obama is using every tactic short of a nuclear attack, or ground invasion, to destroy Russia. Once that enemy is a collection of EU and USA puppet kingdoms run by CIA members, like Ukraine today, then they pivot east for the real World War three. China.

Along the way, Russia has now woken up to World War three. I listen to sources inside their media and government, [hahaha! ... yeah ... that explains quite a lot.] and many of them are saying that war can not be avoided, and Russia is putting it's military on notice that fighting will happen, either proxy or a full on NATO. China, I have no sources there I know or trust, what they think of all this, someone else will have to comment on!  [lol ... riiiiiiighht ... because your russian govt and media sources are like, so solid ... what a fucking dope!]

You went right out on the limb there Jack.

I don't presume the US will go for war, direct or even indirect if it can avoid it. Everyone here seems to just presume that they will go for war. (the WH did say clearly there's no military solution in Ukraine, last I looked that had not changed, and yes, you can dispose of that claim, but why?)

I don't easily accept the zh commentariate 'consensus' assumptions on these things, as it's rarely to never accurate, let alone right.

It's suicide, the US and Europe and Israel (and many, many others) would be completely destroyed, I'm sure the Pentagon and NATO HQ, at the very least, know that.

And no need to destroy Russia anyway, we have lived with a deadly Russia for a very long time now, they have had at least the same or better restraint.

What on earth makes people think we won't just do that again? We could have said the same things about kerfuffles in Eastern Europe in the 50s and 1960s.

Yeah, I know many strange (and I think terribly warped) minds have bought into an extreme Zionist global-war plot conspiracy thingy. OK, whatever, I do not, it smacks of cheap populist bullshit spread by hopelessly deluded provocateurs.

[That would be you Jack, and all the dimwitted little delusional chumps like you pushing polarization and naked mortal fear and taking sides in a completely imaginary War!-War!-War soup of paranoid-nutjob dreary nonsense.]

But the idea that 'they' are gunning for a nuclear war is completely fucking absurd. I seriously don't think so.

If I were this wicked z-force and wanted a nuclear war, here's how I'd do it - I would launch one this very second - DONE!

You do not need a special setup, you put forces in place, with a plan, and you let it rip.

The idea that there's this deep subterfuge going on, as a swashbuckling preparatory setup plan of action towards a nuclear strike by the forces of the zatanic-what-the-fucks is a pretty clear-cut indication of the value of that muck.

Tell me, if the zio-dicks need to take out Russia, why didn't they do it when they had a joo Eisenhower White House and Master-Bastard General Curtis Lemay in SAC, and a massive thermonuclear plus delivery platform superiority against the Russians and Chinese?

The same reason they won't now.

Only it's even less likely, the US no longer has the political will, the unity, the surprise, nor the hardware advantage it once had to pull it off ... 'successfully' (ok, ok, let's call it 'acceptably' then).

Suggest you rethink your strategic matrix sans that stuff and see what you get.

But on and on you went with that warped "western military attack on Russia" theme, for months, when absolutely none of it made any rational sense at all, it was all a pure spew of Russian ultra-nationalist propaganda pap and nothing else.

But why should anyone be surprised? That is what you constantly wallow in, right 'Jack'?

The people who listen to your dreary Voice of Moscow claptrap are people far too dumb and/or 100% polarized by fear-propaganda, such as the bereft total swill you pedal, to parse the issues for themselves, and maintain a basic sense of proportions and mental balance.

" And, I have heard from sources in Russia that for years now the Russian Air Forces and other branches have been creating an anti terrorist Air Attack System and munitions. Not planned for a major war, but special weapons built ONLY to engage terrorists in their usual typical lairs and hideouts."

Jack Burton, if your information is correct, one might wonder why the USA, that has been going on and on about their "War on Terror" since 2001, hasn't developed anti-terrorist weapons of its own.

That might be because we've been busy creating them for the excuse to invade/destabilize countries.  So far so good - Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia...so many countries just "ripe for democracy".

You could well be correct about the use of small precision bombs by the RuAF but it seems they are using a lot of dumb bombs and especially the guided 500Kg HE fragmentation bomb as appropriate for the target.

The chat on Russian sites is that it is pointless to drop expensive munitions when cheap and cheerful can do as well. The targets seem to be extremes, hardened command centres/stores and open surface areas. It is fairly clear that ISIS and its controllers had no idea that this was coming and were/are in effect a bit of a sitting duck.

It must have been a bit of a shock for all those volunteers that flooded in from Western Europe without any military training, expecting an easy ride across the country raping and pillaging on the way. Looks like many will find that the virgins in Heaven are already taken.

With SU-34's bombing the every loving dog shit out of these CIA trained, liver eating motherfuckers, and S-300's keeping the skys free of Western meddling, this thing might just meet the 3-4 month Russian time table.  Let's hope so.  After this I can think of a few more projects that Russia, China et al might want to take a look at.

Difference between US rules of engagement compared to Russias rules of engagement  make all the difference. When the US airforce  goes out hunting ISIS, they are not allowed to attack any targets if even one civilian is in the area. When Russian planes find their target, they could care less about collateral damage. Its the same way for our ground troops. We lost many good soldiers because of Obama's insane rules of engagement. When our troops were under fire and called in air support, they were denied often because civilians might be killed if the fighters targeted the enemy. Obama has much American blood on his hands because of his childish, idiotic rules of engagement.

US Rules of Engagement are not something civilians are notified of. But given the body count of civilians in the Drone Programs alone, where 41 militants targets resulted in 1,400+ dead civilians whould seem to be counter to what you say ARE OFFICIAL US rules of enagagement.

I guess the same rules of engagement led to the MSF hostpital destruction in Kunduz Afghanistan. Or the bombing of a wedding party by the Sauds who were fed American targeting data.

Over 500,000 dead Iraqis, thousands of civ victims of drone campaigns and thousands of dead lybians prove you wrong.

GTFO.
