Here's What Real Americans Think Of "Our Hero" Bernanke

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

There’s nothing like the comment section when it comes to Federal Reserve propaganda in the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal. Liberty Blitzkrieg readers will remember the last time the WSJ published a disconnected piece of Central Bank stroking garbage from Fed propagandist John Hilsenrath, and the riotous anger which ensued in the comment section. If you missed it, I strongly suggest taking a read: “Revolution is Coming” – The Top 20 Responses to Jon Hilsenrath’s Idiotic WSJ Article.

Fast forward a few months, and here we have Ben “the courage to bail out billionaires” Bernanke writing an almost unreadable piece of propaganda in the WSJ titled “How the Fed Saved the Economy.”

At this point in a post I’d typically highlight the more egregious parts of an Op-Ed, but this one is so bad, so poorly written and completely uninteresting, there’s really no point. If you feel like wasting two minutes of your life go ahead and read it yourself, but it appears to me that it was put together in a couple of seconds by an intern instructed to boost book sales.

What’s far more interesting, is the comment section. Apparently there are 591 comments as of this writing, and if the first page is any indication, WSJ readers are not on the same page as Bernanke. And that’s putting it lightly.

So what do Americans think of our hero? Here are a few examples from the first page alone:

Thank you for your service Dr. Bernanke.

If you mean people should be put to death for this . . .

. . . then shouldn't we get to torture them first?

No, it's not constituional, but that's never stopped them.

It goes to show that once upon a time the difference between corruption and virtue was taken seriously.

Sure, level 7 includes usurers, but falsifiers "whose corrupting influence--on metals (alchemists), money (counterfeiters), identity (imposters), and truth (liars)--is reflected in their diseased bodies and minds" are relegated to the tenth and final pit of circle 8, the realm of fraud.

Of course, the traditional favorites are the lake of fire and river of $#!+...

If we did not infact have a "just us" system, then yes Bernanke and Greenspan would have been tried as the treasonous traitors that they are and shortly executed along with all the Federal Reserve board members for the last 30+ years and every single one of their political puppets that has facilitate and perpetuated the theft/fraud.

Most Americans made money on the real estate scam.

Nobody complained and everybody loved it.

Then the dream popped and everybody with a house needed rescue or almost everybody would have lost his house.

Now the market is rising again and nobody is complaining abouth that unless they're left out.

That dream will pop again but the current "wealth" if because of Bernanke.

The smart people are selling now and getting the hell out of dodge with their money but... greed... just a little bit more...

and poof.

Bernanke did what almost every American needed.

Sure the debt is crazy high. But what was the alternative?

Nobody is complaining about Regean. And that guy started most of the crap.

It's easy to point to one guy at the end of the line but the real problems are the "real" Americans themselves who keep on speculating and playing the game.

Agreed.  I made money on it, bailed on it in 2005 knowing it was coming down hard.  Back in and can pay it off today if needed but have other things to deal with if possible.  BUT:

What is a "real american"?  I see the so called real american is as bad or worse than the so called jew, except stupiderrer, and brainwashed by footzballz and buxxin in a cage fight event.  And they cry that the jew took advantage of them when they are just a plain idiot that wanted more than they could pay for... keep on speculating and playing the game(as you say)...then cry when they lose their home so their neighbor has to pay their way.

It can't last forever, and they WILL drag you down like the guy drowning in the ocean rip tide if you don't ensure you can stand on the beach and watch with sadness but not remorse.

It's the .001% that need hanging.  You get rid of the 1% and America is done for.  Come to think of it, that is exactly what is happening.

Look at it another way.  The idiot in the White House wants social justice on an international level.

- 1/3 of the world goes to bed without supper

- 1/3 of the world lives in a home with dirt floors

- 1/2 of the world makes under 10,000 dollars (equivalent) a year

And these are the very good statistics.  What, exactly, does that mean for America's relentless decline in living standards over the next 50 years.  Go Team USA...weebee Number 73!  A race to the bottom, that is what America has to look forward to.  Taxed and Inflated out of existence (and Regulated, Manipulated, and all that nice alphabet soup stuff)  It isn't the evil jew, it is the stupid american.  He who fails to prepare and all that crap.  1 in about 1000 (being kind) knows anything about banking, taxation, business, payroll, investments (and about 1/3 can't balance a checkbook!!!!) but expect to be wealthy and bitch about those that are.

Welcome to the REAL, REAL WORLD, AMERICA, brought to you by REALITY...not MTV. You are gonna...cry.

Bernanke is just following the script laid out for him previously by Alan Greenspan.

Greenspan once claimed that financial bubbles were not predictable.  This, after his low-interest rate policies set the stage for 2 of the biggest bubbles of all time - stock market bubble (2000) / housing bubble (2006).

And then, after he got replaced by Bernanke, all of a sudden Greenspan is talking about bubbles, and how dangerous they are, and how only gold is true money.  Right around the same time he was promoting his book.

These guys are raging egomaniacs, and they care about their "legacy."

What, exactly can the so called goy complain about when 1/3 of americans can't balance a checkbook?  It isn't about being smarter.  It is about the desire to learn and be a better more rounded person.  The jew happens to pursue these and other things and tend to be wealthier because they have a larger vocabulary and better math skills BY CHOICE.  This...  American so called goy are interested in football and cheezpuffies, and literally get depressed if their chosen team doesn't win.

The world has ALWAYS been about being connected, and ALWAYS will.  And that field is a group of very evil and very dark (white skinned, well mostly, at least the middle management is) people who value world domination.  You either choose to join those paths or you don't.

Have you noticed the insideous consolidation of comment sections and editorial pages taking place under the banner of "Disqus"?  My first encounter with this "service" was when the local paper, a McClatchey outfit, added it to their comments section.  Then, it started popping up other places.  I will not comment anywhere you have to register with them, and I am sure it is squelching public dissent and contrarian thinking from others as well.

Is ZH monitored?  Maybe, probably, but I have been on here too long to hide, and hiding really isn't the issue anyway.  I simply tune out and turn off any web site that disrespects my privacy so much as to demand I register with a 3rd party to take part in their discussions.  Hopefully, more and more people will do the same until site operators realize it is hurting their traffic.

Too simple.  Then again there are too many of them and therefore it could be cost effective.  Forget what i said, you method stands!  Where did i leave my chemistry set?

- reminds me of my childhood chemistry set.  I made HCL and burned my eyes and nose.  The so called "safety" of toys these days has made our country useless to the world.  All they can do is stare into an i-box and numb their spirit and soul for the sake of the parents having an i-nanny to shut their child up.  Good Lord I am an negative, glass completely empty individual.  The endless corruption has made me care nothing for this world, at least my faith allows me to not mind that choice.  Why do you give so much time of your life for things that don't matter?  It makes life more peaceful and enjoyable, oddly enough.

Not only is Bernanke shameless, but he writes an "I am the Hero" book just like Hank Paulson did. These fuckers are truly unconscious. I wonder, do people actually believe these charlatans?

The worse part of it is the rapid growth of the sociopath in America over the last decade.  Research use of i-gadgets and what it does to children's mindset.  Look at all the "texting while driving" people, the texting while eating out with family people, and all others using the i-shit.

I never got why inflation was a target, and personally can't believe they talk about it openly.

Mr. Bernanke, if you are reading this, I want you to review this video and feel free to comment on it, or, even schedule an interview to clarify your position.

Ben Bernanke's Sovereign Deception

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmPUKy-3OfY

The popular explanation--originating with then-Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and promoted relentlessly by the media--for why the $700 billion TARP bailout had to be passed is destroyed with an 8-minute film.

Relying solely on documents from the Federal Reserve together with congressional testimony, BestEvidence exposes Bernanke's TARP story to congress as a willful fraud intended to benefit global megabanks.

The episode further reveals that Bernanke lied to congress about TARP saving Main Street at precisely the same time he was planning the Fed's own megabank bailout that specifically excluded Main Street.

In addition, Bernanke's craven efforts following his epic deception to conceal the Fed's nefarious abuses of power on behalf of parties that included foreign banks were ultimately thwarted, albeit too late, thanks to Article III of the constitution, a tireless reporter (who apparently took the last crumbs of journalistic gumption with him to the grave), and a federal district court judge who smelled the rank cumulus clouds of b.s. billowing from B.S. Bernanke a mile away.

The media's slavish Fed worship generally and its TARP propaganda campaign in particular are condemned in no uncertain terms, never to be forgiven.

Head down to any sports bar or WMT in America and ask anyone you run into who is Bernanke and the "Real American" response will be "no idea." WSJ readers are generally clued in on what's happening, so the comment section isn't quite the "Real American" demo Mike is making it out to be.

I subscribe to the WSJ, and when the Hilsinrath piece came out I loved the comments.  Now, however, their site won't let me see the comments or add one or even see the whole article; I keep signing in (and my name is on the screen; they have me signed in actually), but it just won't "take."  I wonder what's up.
