As regular readers and foreign policy critics the world over are no doubt acutely aware, the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey have gotten themselves in a bit of a quagmire in Syria and Moscow has been keen on pointing it out. Still, The Kremlin has thus far observed some semblance (and we do emphasize the word “some”) of decorum in criticizing the West’s approach as Moscow has generally confined its scolding to what at least seem like serious foreign policy critiques.
That just went out the window - Russia is now openly mocking Riyadh, Doha, and Washington and as if the following weren’t brazen enough as it stands, note that it emanates from the UAE...

Off Topic. For five nights running Muslim Migrants has been rioting in Stockholm Sweden, burning cars, a school, and a police station. The riots have now spread to Göteborg and Malmö. Islamists have begun burning cars in all three cities, while 10,000 muslims a week continue to arrive in Sweden demanding apartments, free health care and free money. No, this is not a joke, and the migrants have been moved to the top government priority for spending, getting new flats and houses ready fro migrants in government's main goal facing winter. Migrationsverket says over 10,000 new migrants arrive eachw eek and reginster for regugee status, which entitles them to cash payments, a free apratment, a health number allowing free medical car for life, migrants are given transport cards good on buses, trains, subway and other public transport. Migrants are allowed to move freely to any city they like and travel for free. Upon arrival the local government must feed, house and pay them cash.
This is not a joke, this is happening right now!
The government doesn't have to do it; they chose to do it. It is why we need sealed borders and large warning signs.

Göteborg has turned into a drug-infested haven not safe to walk the streets even during the day. Yes, I lived in Göteborg for awhile. It was once safe and beautiful. The fucking Muslims are turning all Sweden to shit! Malmö has been is trouble for a long time. I have two relatives in the Police force of Malmö. They said it started in the 80's, but has now gone off the charts. Malmö is the main entry city for all of the migrants heading north for benefits.

It looks to me like the "trainwreck" is caused by internal dissent among the 3 pillars of US foreign policy; State, Defense, and CIA. It also appears as if the final decision was that the CIA could 'handle" Syria with the assistance of regional allies and boots on the ground would not be needed.

If you take the time to read posts you will see a number of discussions on the validity of first strike.
This is not Afghanistan all over. You have aircraft sharing similar airspace. You have sea power that could come in conflict. The world is seeing cyber war, economic war, etc. History shows it does not take much in the right conditions to go from a proxy, economic, propaganda, etc. war to a very hot war.
In this case you also have China. Several of the first strike scenarios assume a first strike against both Russia and China. The question would be, if a nuke goes off, how do the other nuclear powers respond? Remember the world has been close to nukes being deployed on a number of occasions that few know about!
