Hillary was a very effective fundraiser (shakedown artist; call it what you will) in Congress. More importantly, she helped raise a lot of cash for a lot of other Dems in congress so those establishment fucks owed her.
she has raised a LOT of cash in the last year. for somebody who is so politically savvy, it is incredulous that she let her campaign peak so early, and she will have a hard time recovering her popularity. my personal thesis is that she doesn't give a rat's ass about winning, she gave a zillion speeches at $$$/head early while she could to run up the biggest bankroll she could....now all she has to do is to pick a defensible time to bow out, and she has a very cushy retirement. even bill would sign on to that sleaze.....
