What Happens When You Attach A GoPro Cam To A Russian Warplane
Because the US has come up rather short on results in 13 months of airstrikes on ISIS targets, the world has developed quite a fascination with the videos coming out of the Russian Defense Ministry of late.
To be sure, it’s not easy to tell what exactly it is the Russians are bombing in the clips and as we’ve noted on more than one occasion, one should take all propaganda (whether from the West or otherwise) with a grain of salt, but Moscow sure is bombing something and after more than a year of hearing about coalition strikes and seeing no results, there’s no shortage of interest in a series of bombing raids that have purportedly been extremely effective.
Well, for those who revel in watching Russia fly warplanes over Syria, you’re in luck, because The Russian Defense Ministry has taken it up a notch by attaching a GoPro to a Su-25.
No, really.
The clip is short, but it suggests that The Kremlin is getting more creative in the dissemination of what amount to advertisements for its "anti-terror" campaign:

Yea looks like the Russians aim to break the encirclement of Syria by rolling them back on the Turkish front. Once they seal the borders again on that side they can work their way around the north border of the country, push ISIS back into Jordan and Iraq, and then continue on through Iraq until they reach the Gulf. I guess this assumes a successful ground invasion/recapture of the Turkish front, but, I assume Russian airpower + Iranian troops should be able to figure it out in short order.

Well this is a long time story. The earliest I remember is Afghanistan where USSR brought quite a bit of prosperity. Secular government, women in schools, colleges. New roads, highways, hospitals. But as always in Hegelian dialectic there was resistance. This time in form of Taliban (and of course US). US supported them, armed, trained and even made a Rambo movie where it glorifies them, the FREEDOM FIGHTERS. Well one of the Taliban from Saudi Arabia was Osama bin Laden. This name was later tied to everything since 9/11. And today Obama is saying that US will stay in the Afghanistani quagmire US created initially. Quagmire where acid in face is a normal response to girls going to elementary school.
Afghanistan was doing pretty well long before the Russians invaded. There are photo collages that contrast the 1950s with the aftermath of war. It looked like a nice prosperous place waaay back then.

Wife got me a GoPro last year. Use it for shark fishing and analyzing my kids pitching technique.
But, GoPro sends me emails about new vids. Well clicking around there one day I found one that was pretty insane.

What might happen is that it could become more overt which will give the UK a big problem of whether to stay with the US and continue the Anglo-American empire or snuggle up to Europe.
