Martin Armstrong Warns: The Loss Of All Liberty Is Coming Faster Than You Imagined

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Martin Armstrong via ArmstrongEconomics.com,

UK Prime Minister David Cameron reflects the serious problem we have with politicians. Politicians have zero respect for our human rights for they only think about how they are going to raid our wealth to pay for their families and retirements at our expense. Cameron actually asked, “In our country, do we want to allow a means of communication we [the government] cannot read? My answer to that question is: ‘No, we must not’.”

These people are highly dangerous. They only see government as the solution and do not grasp that we have rights. Government wants to eliminate all encryption because they are hunting money. You have a 1000 times greater chance of dying in a car crash than by a terrorist. They use terrorism as the great excuse to collect everything we do.

How did the world function before the internet? Did they intercept every letter in the mail or record every phone call? Why is it that with the internet these people feel they have a right to listen and read everything we communicate? This is EXACTLY the same paranoia displayed by Stalin. Human rights do not simply vanish because we have entered the internet age. We still have rights that governments need to respect, but refuse because they are always desperately in need of more taxes to pay their bankers.

The OECD has stated, “Co-operation between tax administrations is critical in the fight against tax evasion and a key aspect of that co-operation is exchange of information.” It’s all about money any nothing else.

In 2010, the U.S. enacted legislation known as FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), which is destroying the world economy and lowering economic growth globally. Effectively, FATCA requires foreign financial institutions around the globe to report account details of their U.S. customers to the U.S. tax administration. However, this requires foreign institutions to file that they do not have any American clients. The legal and cost issues of this approach imposed by the USA are being adopted by five other countries including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. FATCA has become a model for the intergovernmental cooperation in hunting taxes. The postwar economy was built on the free flow of capital. Americans cannot open accounts overseas because the penalties are far too stiff for failure to report any American to the U.S. authorities. They will be giving up everyone to their respective countries, which will be implemented in 2017.

If we do not eliminate taxes and transform the monetary system into a new era where the cost of government is held to 5% of GDP and money is merely created to fund the cost of government, along with abolishing career politicians, we will lose everything.

We are heading into the direction of a total loss of all rights simply because of taxes.

Well Marty, I appreciate the math, because next time I'm detained I can tell them how thankful I am for removing that other 1/1000th of a percent chance of being searched, interrogated and property seized by a terrorist, just before they rupture my kidneys with a few nicely place baton shots.

Freedom and confidence (trust) are the foundations of capitalism. Yet each of these bedrocks of our economic system are slowly being eroded by inept government coinciding with rigged markets and laws in favor of the oligarchs of our society. These "privileged few" are amassing great fortunes at the expense of the middle class. The common people, who built this country, are slowly being downsized as their costs of living are being inflated beyond the ability to sustain themselves independently (thus 46.2 million people on food stamps). We are close to an inflection point where eventually the dynasts will come to the conclusion that the middle class is not essential to their financial agenda. As long as the bourgeoisie and the proletariat remain placated with their "Soma" and American Idol, the system will remain the same and polarization of our economy will accelerate.

I accepted the fact that anything I send electronically can be read by someone else at any time long ago.

This will never change... hell the NA at my office can read all my e-mails and the NA above him can read all of his, etc. etc. etc.

There is no privacy in the digital world - nor should anyone expect any. Conduct your affairs under any alternate assumption at your peril.

Not totally correct IMO. I see 4 classes in the New Feudal World Order that is being installed before our very eyes. The Rulers at the top (Kings & Queens) will still need the Elites (Lords & Nobles) to enforce their will, primarily through the establishment and maintenance of the security state. Next is the Debt Slaves (Serfs) who will be reduced to the meagerest of existence and whose effort and wealth will be taxed and confiscated to support and maintain the upper classes. Last are the Canon Fodder. These will be mostly those that do not serve any useful pupose to the order and will be conscripted to fight the elites wars, or if they are not even competent for that, placed into areas to essentially starve. Anyone that revolts, will be sent to the gulags for re-education or worse. Same as it ever was.

No - it's really not. It's still very dangerous. And crowded by us filthy sheeple. They are going to want to kill about 5 billion of us at least. Except for the wine stewards, cooks, maids, grape pickers, construction slaves, yacht bottom cleaners, etc. They can get all of these they in the philipines (such nice people!) the rest of us they'll just, well, 'lose' some 'black plague' in the mail or something. Then they can build a nice vacation house in that spot overlooking the waterfall in Yellowstone. This will have to take place world wide however. So far only Putin has shown the balls to standing up to 'them', which is interesting, because he doesn't give a shit about the rest of his fan base - but I'd be willing to bet he would give Trump or Billiary a run for their money if he could run here. How skewed and bizarre does this world have to get? I really don't understand why people feel that they need to murder other people, in the name of religion, politics, political correctness, whatever. And this ISIS bunch - where the fuck do they come from? Are they a roving band of thugs who can apparently travel from country to country without any problem? Hell - I pretty much get strip searched flying to Minnesota. So do these guys grow on trees or something? Where are they coming from? I'm beginning to think that they are just poor, fucked over sheeple in their countries who were led to believe (by the CIA thugs) that their 'revolution' against *INSERT NAME HERE* actually had a chance. But they seem like an awfully violent, scary ass bunch, cutting the heads off folks and banning bikinis and such. I sure don't want THEM here. But I don't want Hillary next door either.

To borrow a meme from elsewhere, we are not witnessing the death of the American Republic, we are witnessing its advanced decomposition.

Many won't like this, of course, but in planning for your or your family's future, you really do need to have a non-US residency, and ideally a non-US passport.  Unless you enjoy working in the government - law enforcement - security complex, a personal future in the USA looks double-plus unbright.

Natural human freedom can never be taken away. Man is doomed to be free, whether he likes it or not.

Political freedom is another matter but all political freedom is an illusion, anyway. Voting is pointless. Nothing will change until everything does but that could theoretically happen in a heartbeat. Political leaders do not lead. They simply surface the character of the people.

All real power always resides with the people who are a physical force of nature no tyrant can withstand. The moment the people have collectively had enough of the extant system of extraction, the chaotic gyre will invert.

Not holding my breath waiting for that, though...

At the same time, the gap between the government and the proles when it comes to weaponry has never been this wide.  See this:

(and please don't give me a bunch of 'source' complaints.. it's just the first thing that popped up in my quick search).  I've been hearing and seeing articles on these devices for many years and you can bet that if they are being discussed, the gov't has them (and probably a great deal more and worse). Why does the Pentagon need a Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program (JNLWP) for fuck sake?  They are in the buinsess of KILLING people -- not disabling them.  Or, are they?

@ Bone,

From the AlterNet article:

1997, a joint report from the Pentagon and the Justice Department warned:

"A further consideration that affects how the military and law enforcement apply force is the greater presence of members of the media or other civilians who are observing, if not recording, the situation. Even the lawful application of force can be misrepresented to or misunderstood by the public. More than ever, the police and the military must be highly discreet when applying force."

Probably very true. However, everybody on the "opposing side" lives somewhere, has a family somewhere, shops somewhere, go to work somewhere, and commutes to all of these places (all among the general population---us). You know some of them. Where they live, where their kids go to school, etc. That's why you'd never go toe to toe with "the government", but take them on one at a time.

If you want the stick your thumb in the eye of the "globalists" (this is a code word) you should do the following:

1. buy lots of rural land away from major cities (fuck you Agenda 21)

2. have lots of white children (fuck you white genocide and ethnic cleansing plan)

3. minimize taxes

They don't want you living free away from their cities and governments.  They don't want you having white children.  They don't want you "harming the environment" by cutting down trees, building houses and barns, and tilling fields.  They want you in some small shitty apartment working yourself to death in one of their corporate jobs (or whatever) and paying 40%+ of your production in taxes so they can redistribute it to illegals and ghetto dwellers (and themselves).

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe

Regardless of who prevails, I am looking forward to witnessing The Second American Civil War (CW2). It may well turn out to be the most momentous conflict since Alaric sacked Rome in 410, but if nothing else it will be one of those singularly interesting events that we see so rarely these days.

My hunch is that if/when CW2 occurs it will be a guerrilla confrontation with key figures being popped off etc, not an eyeball-to-eyeball face-off. Taking on the fascist Almighty State nowadays with its vast quantities of sophisticated weapons and equipment would be foolish.

Taking on the fascist Almighty State nowadays with its vast quantities of sophisticated weapons and equipment would be foolish.

I have been researching that for a possible fictional short story (former military officer for 8 years). If the US .gov tried to occupy and pacify the US they have enough combat troops, active and reserve, to maybe handle California.

Most people think weapons and troops win wars but ask someone educated in military history and they will tell you to a man it is logistics that wins wars. It turns out that over a hundred years ago the US decided that it would fight it's wars overseas. It has not dealt with anything significant at home since 1865. Guess what? Our supply chains are all geared to moving troops and equipment from (relatively) isolated bases to the coasts.

We have whole areas of the mainland with no nearby military base and no easy way to move troops and equipment that in most cases have to go by train. The military would also have to, for the first time, guard domestic bases against attack or harassment, tying up a large number of troops for that task alone. The US military has one small arms ammunition plant in Independence, MO. It makes well over a billion of rounds a year, but take it out or interrupt transport from it and the game changes quickly. Take out I-5 through Stockton and the Marines and Navy lose a significant part of their supply chain.

And then there's the question of how many troops are willing to fight US citizens on US soil. I suspect the number would prove shockingly low and they'll all be tied up in transgender sensitivity training for awhile.

Wargaming CW2 from the standpoint of domestic logistics capability gets very interesting very quickly.

The Neoconservative movement is Trotskyism. The Progressive movement is Socialism. Trotskyism/Socialism is the death of a society, and America will be no exception.

Leon Trotsky, a brutal mass murderer, opposed Stalin in part because he thought Stalin wasn’t repressive enough. His best-known quote is “Where the sole employer is the State, opposition means death by slow starvation. The old principle: who does not work shall not eat, has been replaced with a new one: who does not obey shall not eat.”

Ilya Somin translates Trotsky’s quote thusly:

In a country where the State is the sole employer, this policy [referring to Stalin’s policy] means a slow death by starvation [for oppositionists]. The old principle: who does not work shall not eat, has been replaced with a new one: who does not obey shall not eat.

My translation:

Where the sole employer is the State…means death by slow starvation. The old principle: who does not work shall not eat, has been replaced with a new one: who does not [work shall eat the fruit of him who works but eventually no one will eat because there will be no workers].

And that is why failed socialism becomes totalitarianism.

Cameron is a 100% slimeball who cannot be trusted. To hear him say that crap about banning encryption after some of the pre-2010 election speeches he made railing against HRH Tony Blair's and Gordoom Brown's ever growing Big Govt, whilst ramping up freedom & liberty is enough to make me vomit. He should stick to snorting and leave people alone.

Martin Armstrong is only repeating what most readers here already know.

Martin Armstrong is a dangerous wanker with his own agenda & a serious overblown ego -believing he's the smartest thing since sliced bread.  He hates Gold & Gold believers and spays continuously about them. He states its ALL about his marvelous computer which knows everything back to Adam & Eve. A total tool.

You obviously haven't read much about Martin Armstrong. He doesn't hate gold. He doesn't hate anything. He has just made the point that gold will not rise until confidence is lost in the currency upon which the value of gold is based. You may think he is a tool but his ECM model has been much more accurate than most of the pundits on Wall Street. He sat in jail for 11 years because he refused to hand over the source code to the front man of Goldman Sachs. I suggest you watch the movie The Forecaster. It might pry open your narrow mind a little. I am not suggesting that his model is perfect but the accuracy rate makes it foolish to totally ignore.

RE:  Wars & shit.

During the Dem debate, a guest questioner mentioned that Bernie Sanders was a conscientious objector during the Vietnam war.  All the candidates stood around like turds while Webb came to Sanders' support mentioning that one should do what he thinks is right with the right to make such a decision.   I was particularly looking at the cunt Clinton.

IMO, Vietnam is symbolic of the first truly f*cked up war America participated in.  The passage of time has brought near-unversal agreement that it was a disaster of profound proportions.  It also acted to some degree as a template for our f*cked up foreign policy.

My question = Why do politicians act so awkwardly about Vietnam?  It was a mistake - PERIOD.  Mr. Webb did act with great honor and sacrifice and Mr. Sanders followed his conscience.  Meanwhile others like the Clintons and Bushes of the world create wars and shelter their kids from them or have histories of having avoided service themselves.  One could go up and down the neocon crowd and they all have that in common.  (except McCain who's a nutbag).

i wonder what the impact NOWADAYS should be if Sanders had said that not only was he a conscientious objector, but proud of it?
