Trump: Bush Had “Advanced Notice” of 9/11

George Washington's picture

Donald Trump says that George W. Bush knew 9/11 was coming and had "advanced knowledge" of the attack, but he failed to stop it:

He's right ...

Overwhelming evidence shows that 9/11 was foreseeable. Indeed, Al Qaeda crashing planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was itself foreseeable. Even the chair of the 9/11 Commission said that the attack was preventable.

A top NSA whistleblower says that the NSA had all of the information it needed prior to 9/11 to stop the attacks. The only reason NSA didn't share that information with other agencies is because of corruption ... in an effort to consolidate power.

In reality, widespread spying by the U.S. government on Americans began before 9/11 (confirmed here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here). And the government tapped the 9/11 hijackers’ phones, and heard the 9/11 hijackers’ plans from their own mouths.

Why didn't this stop the terror attacks?

Top security experts agree that mass surveillance is actually ineffective … and actually makes us more vulnerable to terrorism, because it distracts people and resources from tried-and-trued counter-terrorism efforts which are effective and actually work.

For example, the former head of global intelligence for the NSA – Bill Binney – says that the mass surveillance INTERFERES with the government’s ability to catch bad guys, and that the government failed to stop the Boston Bombing because it was overwhelmed with data from mass surveillance on Americans. And see this.

Binney says government officials and contractors actually don't want to solve the terrorism problem ... Because once they solve it, they don't have the "problem" to use as a basic justification to get more money (note ... the video clips below are very brief clips which are well worth watching):

Binney says "the primary reason [the government is spying on everyone] is for money and building an empire". But that - by pulling in information on all Americans - it's making us more vulnerable to terrorism:

And he says that it would be easy to audit the intelligence community to avoid corruption, fraud and waste ... but intelligence managers don't want any oversight:

It's not just Binney ... high-level NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake (and see this), NSA whistleblower Russell Tice, very high-level congressional committee security staffer Diane Roark and Edward Snowden all say that mass surveillance within the U.S. is a corrupt power grab ... not an effort aimed at stopping terrorism.

Postscript: The question of whether or not 9/11 was a false flag is beyond the scope of this post.

Not to sound pissy or anything, but it sometimes seems like I'm the ONLY AMERICAN who bothered reading the congressional after-action reports on the US intelligenc agencies and the FBI on the events of 9/11/01?

OK, of course the NSA, which was tasked by the CIA, with comm surveillance of the perpetrators of the attacks on the US embassies in Africa and the USS Cole, who were in America, and the NSA tracked the calls from San Diego back to Yemen, because the CIA (Alfreda Bikowsky Silverstein) knew they were there (and be among those 15 Saudi hijackers that day).

So the CIA's Alfreda Bikowsky Silverstein would forbid the information from being disseminated to the FBI and other agencies, and would later be involved in knowingly ordering the extraction of false confessions by torture, sat upon this information.

So, who would benefit from this?  Silverstein Properties, owned by Larry Silverstein, who took out some really weirdly clever insurance policies which profited him exponentially many times over when the WTC Towers were destroyed!

These insurance policies were paid out by a Swiss insurance or reinsurance operation, which was a subsidiary of AIG.  (Remember them?)

And what about that so-called FBI investigation on those shorts and puts in the NYSE that day?

The FBI reported the results of the investigation, but they deferred to the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) to handle it.

And in charge of the CFR financial investigation was AIG's Hank Greenberg!

(Aiding Greenberg would ben the NSA's Willima Wechsler, special liaison to the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs of Staff and Donald Rumsfeld --- small world, huh?)

So, Alfreda Bikowsky Silverstein and Larry Silverstein of Silverstein Properties.

AIG subsidiary, and an investigation headed by AIG's Hank Greenberg (technically, he wasn't with AIG at that time, having to step down due to previous financial fraud scandals, but he was still heavily connected --- at their foundation, the Starr Foundation*** at that time --- but would later return to AIG, of course).

Note anything familiar here?

***Starr Foundation ring any bells?  Kenneth Starr, special prosecutor --- CNN's defense correspondent, Barbara Starr --- Jeffrey Starr, former DIA top dude and now D.C. lobbyist for G4S.

And the really big op was the transfer of DoD's trillions offshore in the ensuing chaos!

Early life

Ken Starr was born near Vernon, Texas, and was raised in Centerville. His father was a minister in the Churches of Christ who also worked as a barber. His great-uncle, Cornelius Vander Starr, founded American International Group (AIG)...

http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ciadrugs/part_2.html

"In The Shadow Warriors: OSS and the Origins of the CIA (Basic Books, 1983) author Bradley F. Smith shed more light on Cornelius Starr and the OSS.

"It [a secret intelligence operation in China] was formed in April 1942, when [Bill] Donovan persuaded British insurance magnate C.V. Starr to let C.O.I. (Covert Operations Intelligence) use his commercial and insurance connections in occupied China and Formosa to create a deep cover intelligence network. Although the State Department was nervous about the operation, Donovan went ahead and, with the cooperation of the U.S. Army, bypassed the diplomats in operating the communications system...

The War Conspiracy (Bobbs-Merrill, 1972) by Peter Dale Scott, Ph.D. of UC Berkeley is a book few Americans have seen. The compelling and meticulously documented history of the creation of the Vietnam War was rushed from bookstores and shelves almost as soon as it was published. Scott, author of Deep Politics and the Assassination of JFK, The Iran-Contra Connection and Cocaine Politics is an expert on the interface between covert operations and the international drug trade. In Chapter Six of The War Conspiracy, entitled "Opium, the China Lobby, and the CIA," Scott traces the connections between drug trafficking in Southeast Asia and American intelligence operations. There are detailed references to C.V. Starr and connections with some figures, like CIA veteran Paul Helliwell, who have been irrevocably and blatantly tied to the drug trade.

No offense, Duc888, but that falls into the category of a "double bluff" putting a few facts out there and mixing in a whole bunch of crud to discredit the overall story.

Philip Shenon just wrote a "double bluff" article at Politico, going back to that tired misinformational story on the JFK assassination, blaming Oswald and the Cubans.

The facts always speak otherwise, but that's why those stooges out there, the Davd Ignatius types, the Brian Williams' types, the Anderson Cooper types, etc., etc., get the big bucks for spewing all the disinformation.

The 22 people involved have been mentioned by myself and others time and again --- those 28 redacted pages they refuse to make public will demonstrate it was a joint US-Saudi operation.

No need for all this extraneous and unverifiable information.

Just like the JFK murder, the facts are what counts.

Gen. Lansdale and Lucien Conein (CIA) were photographed in Dallas that morning --- Gen. Lansdale had been special assistant to Nelson Rockefeller when he was reorganizing the DoD during the Eisenhower administration.

Lucien Conein was stationed in Saigon in the CIA, where he had been several weeks previously during the assassination of Diem.  He was also a favorite of Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr., whom JFK was about to fire for not following his peace directives on negotiating with the North Vietnamese, and he was in Dallas that morning as well.

Those tramps were never identified, no matter what a lard-butted, lard brained, self-described Houston PD "forensics expert" claims (her mom got her the job there, BTW), there was never any positive match and the head of the Dallas County Sheriff's Identification Division stated unequivocally that there was no match with anyone arrested that year!

Also, one Harold Jameson was detained and questioned by the Dallas police shortly after JFK's murder (he was supposed to be connected to Big Oil and the mob, and he had an FBI case no. 499 731) --- and the very same Harold Jameson was detained and questioned by the LAPD right after Sen. Bobby Kennedy's assassination again in 1968.

Harold Jameson was the brother of the CIA's Donald Jameson, then head of the Soviet Russia/Covert Actions desk.

Many, many more connections, but everything comes up the CIA within the CIA (Robert Parry's classic term) and the Rockefeller brothers!

I've related this story on ZH once or twice before, but not for a while.  When I was a college weenie, we had this old curmudgeon on the Board of Trustees....James Withrow Jr.  He was feared and somewhat loathed by the students because he was an old-line aged white conservative who used to work for the OSS and CIA.  He ran ops for OSS in Asia and then early years of 'Nam for CIA....recommended Ho Chi Minh for asylum in the US, which probably would have forestalled the Vietnam War, but that is a different story.  He was such a stud that 'they' gave him a chunk of optical glass from a spy satellite, which he used to read (sliding it across a page).

So we were in a sort of assembly at which Withrow spoke, the last time he did this incidentally.  And my roommate was obsessed with the JFK murder.  So I kept poking him in the ribs and muttering 'ASK him.....ASK him' until he stood up and in the midst of the usual liberal questions about Nicaragua etc. he goes 'um....Mr. Withrow....sir?   Um.....whoshotJFK?' and then he sits down.

Withrow just glowered at him and paused.  This is the first and only pause he was known to have shown in his time on the Board (he was a real barker).

Then after what seemed like forever, he says: "I DON'T KNOW."  And that was it.

Now, this could mean a lot of things.  But one thing it pretty much has to mean is, Oswald didn't do it, at least not by himself.  That would have been easy for the guy to say.  But he didn't.

I am not going to speculate, here, this is as close as most people ever get to a real source, and it is what it is.  Or isn't.

By the way, let us not forget the 9/11 connections to pipelines, Afghanistan, the 'carpet of flowers or carpet of bombs' comment by which the US effectively declared war on the Taliban (possibly without realizing it) over the Unocal project backed by the Clinton Administration, etc.   The filth runs deep.

And one more, this for GW's files:  The Guardian in late September 2001, quoting named sources about the US effectively issuing a conditional declaration of war against Afghanistan in the weeks prior to 9/11.  This is independent of that French book most people cite.  Bonus irony:  Quote from Putin!

Threat of US strikes passed to Taliban weeks before NY attack

Osama bin Laden and the Taliban received threats of possible American military strikes against them two months before the terrorist assaults on New York and Washington, which were allegedly masterminded by the Saudi-born fundamentalist, a Guardian investigation has established.

The threats of war unless the Taliban surrendered Osama bin Laden were passed to the regime in Afghanistan by the Pakistani government, senior diplomatic sources revealed yesterday.

The Taliban refused to comply but the serious nature of what they were told raises the possibility that Bin Laden, far from launching the attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon out of the blue 10 days ago, was launching a pre-emptive strike in response to what he saw as US threats.

The warning to the Taliban originated at a four-day meeting of senior Americans, Russians, Iranians and Pakistanis at a hotel in Berlin in mid-July. The conference, the third in a series dubbed "brainstorming on Afghanistan", was part of a classic diplomatic device known as "track two".

It was designed to offer a free and open-ended forum for governments to pass messages and sound out each other's thinking. Participants were experts with long diplomatic experience of the region who were no longer government officials but had close links with their governments.

"The Americans indicated to us that in case the Taliban does not behave and in case Pakistan also doesn't help us to influence the Taliban, then the United States would be left with no option but to take an overt action against Afghanistan," said Niaz Naik, a former foreign minister of Pakistan, who was at the meeting.

"I told the Pakistani government, who informed the Taliban via our foreign office and the Taliban ambassador here."

The three Americans at the Berlin meeting were Tom Simons, a former US ambassador to Pakistan, Karl "Rick" Inderfurth, a former assistant secretary of state for south Asian affairs, and Lee Coldren, who headed the office of Pakistan, Afghan and Bangladesh affairs in the state department until 1997.

According to Mr Naik, the Americans raised the issue of an attack on Afghanistan at one of the full sessions of the conference, convened by Francesc Vendrell, a Spanish diplomat who serves as the UN secretary general's special representative on Afghanistan. In the break afterwards, Mr Naik told the Guardian yesterday, he asked Mr Simons why the attack should be more successful than Bill Clinton's missile strikes on Afghanistan in 1998, which caused 20 deaths but missed Bin Laden.

"He said this time they were very sure. They had all the intelligence and would not miss him this time. It would be aerial action, maybe helicopter gunships, and not only overt, but from very close proximity to Afghanistan. The Russians were listening to the conversation but not participating."

Asked whether he could be sure that the Americans were passing ideas from the Bush administration rather than their own views, Mr Naik said yesterday: "What the Americans indicated to us was perhaps based on official instructions. They were very senior people. Even in 'track two' people are very careful about what they say and don't say."

In the room at the time were not only the Americans, Russians and Pakistanis but also a team from Iran headed by Saeed Rajai Khorassani, a former Iranian envoy to the UN. Three Pakistani generals, one still on active service, attended the conference. Giving further evidence of the fact that the Berlin meeting was designed to influence governments, the UN invited official representatives of both the Taliban government in Kabul and the anti-Taliban Northern Alliance. Dr Abdullah Abdullah, the Northern Alliance's foreign minister, attended. The Taliban declined to send a representative.

The Pakistani government took the US talk of possible strikes seriously enough to pass it on to the Taliban. Pakistan is one of only three governments to recognise the Taliban.

Mr Coldren confirmed the broad outline of the American position at the Berlin meeting yesterday. "I think there was some discussion of the fact that the United States was so disgusted with the Taliban that they might be considering some military action." The three former US diplomats "based our discussion on hearsay from US officials", he said. It was not an agenda item at the meeting "but was mentioned just in passing".

Nikolai Kozyrev, Moscow's former special envoy on Afghanistan and one of the Russians in Berlin, would not confirm the contents of the US conversations, but said: "Maybe they had some discussions in the corridor. I don't exclude such a possibility."

Mr Naik's recollection is that "we had the impression Russians were trying to tell the Americans that the threat of the use of force is sometimes more effective than force itself".

The Berlin conference was the third convened since November last year by Mr Vendrell. As a UN meeting, its official agenda was confined to trying to find a negotiated solution to the civil war in Afghanistan, ending terrorism and heroin trafficking, and discussing humanitarian aid.

Mr Simons denied having said anything about detailed operations. "I've known Niaz Naik and considered him a friend for years. He's an honourable diplomat. I didn't say anything like that and didn't hear anyone else say anything like that. We were clear that feeling in Washington was strong, and that military action was one of the options down the road. But details, I don't know where they came from."

The US was reassessing its Afghan policy under the new Bush administration at the time of the July meeting, according to Mr Simons. "It was clear that the trend of US government policy was widening. People should worry, Taliban, Bin Laden ought to worry - but the drift of US policy was to get away from single issue, from concentrating on Bin Laden as under Clinton, and get broader."

Mr Inderfurth said: "There was no suggestion for military force to be used. What we discussed was the need for a comprehensive political settlement to bring an end to the war in Afghanistan, that has been going on for two decades, and has been doing so much damage."

The Foreign Office confirmed the significance of the Berlin discussions. "The meeting was a bringing together of Afghan factions and some interested states and we received reports from several participants, including the UN," it said.

Asked if he was surprised that the American participants were denying the details they mentioned in Berlin, Mr Naik said last night: "I'm a little surprised but maybe they feel they shouldn't have told us anything in advance now we have had these tragic events".

Russia's president Vladimir Putin said in an interview released yesterday that he had warned the Clinton administration about the dangers posed by Bin Laden. "Washington's reaction at the time really amazed me. They shrugged their shoulders and said matter-of-factly: 'We can't do anything because the Taliban does not want to turn him over'."

Worse yet, people just glaze over the fact that nearly the rest of the world doesn't believe the official story either.

There circulates a superb, thorough video on the subject. This may have a link to it, or keywords sufficient to find it.

This is just more red herrings.  It is now abundantly clear that the basic 9/11 attack was developed and implemented by ZioCon traitors while the Saudis provided money and patsies.  The evidence for this is so overwhelming that anyone denying it is a downright liar.

The US government planned the cover operations; 26 drills some of them including hijacked airliners, FEMA moving into NYC on 9/10/01 for a mass casualty drill scheduled for 9/12/01; the FAA suddenly banning pilots from carrying guns 3 months before 911 even though there were warnings that terrorists planned to hijack airplanes;  FAA protocoll of immediately contacting NORAD of a plane not responding or hijacking was standard procedure until a few months before 911 when the FAA had to get Rumsfeld personal approval to contact NORAD for an intercept.  Just 6 weeks before 911, Larry Silverstein put down 14 miillion on a 99 year lease on the money losing WTC towers and tripled the insurance to 3.5 billion for terror attacks; he eventually collected nearly 6 billion to rebuild but had written a 1 billion payout ot him if he wasn't allowed to rebuild.  Incredible. Oh yeah WTC 7 just collapses at 5:30pm evenly and a BBC announcer mistakenly announced the collapse an hour before.

The towers were blown up;  just pause this video at 1:17 seconds and you can see a crater whose center is a at street level, where WTC 1 stood minutes before:

Crater implies explosive; any gravity collapse from whatever reason would have resulted in a hilll shaped piled 100 feet or more tall at the center, not zero feet.

Cell phones don't get a signal above 5K feet yet many calls lasted 20 or more minutes at altitude.  CeeCee Lyles who was a former police office and was a sterwardess on flight 93, at the end of her message, she says clearly "it's a frame' !!!

OMG, this got upvoted 25 times?...lmao!

So...ummm, I took this bowling ball (mass & weight) to the top of my house and dropped it to the ground and guess what happened?

It didn't bury itself into the ground like I thought it would and leave a hole when I came down and moved it away.

I was completely stunned!!! ;-)

nmewn;  You drop a bowling ball; it makes a dent in the ground.  Right.  Now where IS the bowling BALL?  DID IT VANISH?  NO! The ball is on top of the crater!.  The crater has a bowling ball filling it in so THE RESULT IS NOT A CRATER!!!  The bolwing ball represents the MASS OF THE BULIDING !!!

Let me say this slowly for the under 100 IQ crowd; a big building collapses by gravity on itself; the pieces hit each other and slow down due to friction; the floors fold inwards.  You get a big PILE!!!

Try this nmwen; get some lego logs; build a rather narrow tall structure say, 5 floors or so tall; now remove a beam supporting them and see what you get.  Guess what; it's A PILE OF LOGS not a crater

To beat this thing to deat;; say there is an explosive charge inside the bowling bal; now drop it; it makes a crater AND THEN EXPLODE THE THING, YOU GET A CRATER.  Or explode some of the charge in the ball as it's dropping to form a fine dust;, then let the remnants hit the ground, then explode it, you get a crater.  It's called the law of conservation of mass and energy; an explosive force is needed to convert a vertical structure (that is RIGIDLY CONNECTED) into a crater structure whose center is at ground level; all the bits and pieces you see have been hurled away from the center by a force greater than the NORMAL FORCES THAT HOLD A BULDING TOGETHER.
