America - In Search Of A Cause?

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Patrick Buchanan via Buchanan.org,

“If the Cold War is over, what’s the point of being an American?” said Rabbit Angstrom, the protagonist of the John Updike novels.

A haunting remark, since, for 40 years, America was largely united on the proposition that our survival depended upon our victory over communism in the Cold War.

We had a cause then. By and large, we stood together through the crises in the first decades of that Cold War — the Berlin blockade, Stalin’s atom bomb and the fall of China to Mao, the Korean War, the Hungarian revolution, the Cuban missile crisis, and on into Vietnam.

We accepted the conscription of our young men. We accepted wars in Asia, and, if need be, in Europe, to check the Soviet Empire.

Vietnam sundered that unity.

By 1967, the Gene McCarthy-Robert Kennedy wing of the Democratic Party had broken with the Cold War consensus. “We have gotten over our inordinate fear of communism,” said Jimmy Carter.

The Reagan Republicans and George H. W. Bush would pick up the torch and lead the nation to victory in the last decade of that Cold War that had been a defining cause of the American nation.

But when it was over in 1990, America was suddenly at a loss for a new cause to live for, fight for and, if need be, see its sons die for.

Bush 1, after leading a coalition that drove Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait, declared that America’s cause would be the building of a “New World Order.” But few Americans bought in.

Sixteen months after his victory parade up Constitution Avenue, after Bush had reached 90 percent approval, 62 percent of his country’s electorate voted to replace him with Bill Clinton or Ross Perot.

Clinton pursued liberal interventionism in the Balkans, leading to 78 days of bombing Serbia, and he regretted not intervening in Rwanda to halt the genocide.

George W. Bush promised a “humble” foreign policy. But 9/11 put an end to that. After driving the Taliban from power and Osama Bin Laden out of Afghanistan, he declared that America’s new goal was preventing an “axis of evil” — Iraq, Iran, North Korea — from acquiring nuclear weapons. Then, Bush marched us up to Baghdad.

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq lasted years longer and cost far more in blood and treasure than Bush had anticipated.

At the peak of his prestige, like Pope Urban II, Bush declared a global crusade for democracy.

This ended like many of the crusades. Democratic elections were won by Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza and, after the Arab Spring, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Barack Obama promised to end the Bush wars and bring the troops home. And he was rewarded with two terms by a country that has shown minimal enthusiasm for more wars in the Middle East.

Obama is now openly mocking the McCainiacs.

“Right now, if I was taking the advice of some of the members of Congress who holler all the time, we’d be in, like, seven wars right now,” he told a group of veterans and Gold Star mothers of slain U.S. soldiers.

This reluctance to begin wars or intervene in wars — be it in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine — seems to comport with the wishes of the country. And this new reality raises serious questions.

What is America’s cause today? What is our mission in the world? For what end, other than defending our citizens, vital interests and crucial allies, would we be willing to send a great army to fight — as we did in Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan?

Are all the global causes of Bush I, Clinton, Bush II over?

Where is the coherence, the consistency, of U.S. policy in the Middle East that should cause us to draw red lines, and fight if they are crossed?

If our belief in democracy demands the ouster of the dictator Assad in Damascus, how can we ally with the theocratic monarchy in Riyadh, the Sunni king sitting atop a Shiite majority in Bahrain, and the Egyptian general on his throne in Cairo, who took power in a military coup against a democratically elected Muslim government?

Other than supporting Israel, maintaining access to Gulf oil and resisting ISIS and al-Qaida, upon what do Americans agree?

Henry Kissinger seeks a restoration of the crumbling strategic architecture. Neocons and interventionist liberals want to confront Russia and Iran. Reluctant interventionists like Obama, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders think we should stay out of other wars there.

“When a people is divided within itself about the conduct of its foreign relations, it is unable to agree on the determination of its true interests,” wrote Walter Lippmann at the climax of World War II:

“Thus, its course in foreign policy depends, in Hamilton’s words, not on reflection and choice but on accident and force.”

America is a nation divided, not only upon the means we should use to attain our ends in the world, but upon the ends themselves.

"Get rid of the Fed and watch how fast we unite."

...doy...get rid of "admiralty law", "the Hague", "birth numbers", "the Bank of International Settlements (BIS)", "the Magna Carta", and "the Vatican"....

...then you might be starting something.

Exchanging "the Fed" for another fiat-creating institution under admiralty law, is "helping" those in power to "create order out of chaos"...under their control....

I hope some of this rings a bell, as this is the law in force that allows the Constitution (common law) to be ignored....with your "permission" because it is never challenged.

America does indeed have a cause, a cause it will kill for, invade for, sell out to lobbiests for, give free reign to the CIA and NSA for, set killer cops into the neighborhoods for. We know what it is.

"Maximum Corporate Profits, and Stock Market share values"

It is hard to argue America has no Cause. Look at Washington, it is one big corporate whore house. Who writes regulations? Who forces trade deals that are total sell outs? Congress is full of whores, whose cause is lining their pockets and selling all America and Americans to corporations.

That is indeed true.

And we must recognize that this constitutes fascism, the merging of government with corporations. It is the most absolute form of corruption possible, and it is what Hitler and Mussolini cherished so highly.

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.”
? Benito Mussolini

  • When political campaigns are financed by large corporations, that is fascism.
  • When the Supreme Court declares that corporations are people, that is fascism.
  • When government officials are allowed to work for corporations in the very industries that those officials used to regulate, that is fascism.
  • When more and more documents about government activities are declared to be secret, that is fascism.
  • When the big banks that looted the nation are declared "too big to fail," that is fascism.
  • When criminal bankers from the big banks are declared "too big to jail," that is fascism.
  • When the mainstream news media lie on behalf of the government, that is fascism.
  • When anti-trust laws aren't enforced and corporations are allowed to monopolize entire industries, that is fascism.
  • When the government negotiates free trade agreements in secret and uses those agreements to offshore millions of jobs, that is fascism.
  • When big corporations are allowed to move manufacturing facilities out of the country while still having complete access to American markets, that is fascism.

Exactly, taking the control and issuance of the country's money away from a private for-profit banking cartel and putting it into the hands of the people to issue it, without interest, is what the uniting cause should be.

I do not disagree with your post, it is true in so far as the economic and some "equal protection/application" of the law issues.

The main thing is we have lost our national "Character".  We are no longer the "Apollo" nation, with a committment towards finding out what is going via science, to make things work.  Science now is used to
prove "profitability" or push a product or agenda.  I concede my Apollo example IS coupled to cold war issues as the author states, but it is much more than that.

Kids used to dream of being an astronaut, engineer, etc.  Now they dream about being a reality star, DWTS, Kardashian, ect. ad naseium.

I think it is because we are not challenged by adversity.  Character matters when you are up against it.  Character is developed when stress.  We are a fat, obese, non thinking cell zombie culture, bloating ourselves on "I'm OK, you're OK" mentailty and calling it "diversity, acceptance and tolerance.

The real world of physics (which rocket scientists had to deal with) is an unforgiving bitch.  Resuts of being wrong are pointed out painfully, and the penality of being wrong or not aligned with reality is usually immediate and catastrohic.

We simply aren't challenged.

That sentence presumes Dubya and the Neocons actually thought ahead on the consequences of invading a Muslim nation where a power vacuum would make things far worse, not better.

A little bit of thought ahead before lighting matches in gasoline sheds would help foreign policy.

Looking for ways to start wars was the objective; nothing else.

I used to like Pat

But-he is playing us. The LAST thing they all want to see are united Americans cleaning up their country

That would result in the curtain being pulled down on the MIC/banking cabal in NYC/DC and their congressional puppets

It would be the end of the FED

It would be the end of corporate monopoly

It would be the end of the health scare scam

It would be the end of the IRS

It would be the end of the NSA

and altogether at least another dozen or so triple alphabet agencies sucking our cash to tie Americans down

and oh, BTW-the guys that did Kennedy-and a few others -would no longer be a mystery

So nobody in DC is gonna talk about how united we should/could be to restore Constitutional Limits on Federal power.

So all they can try to do is force us to go to war overseas
in hopes that none of the above ever happens.

Kinda similar to how old Joe Stalin and his crowd dealt with their own domestic/internal problems-they attempted to commit to empire they had no hope of holding

You might be kidding, but I think you hit the nail on the head.  The number of twenty-somethings obsesssed with race, gender and sexual orientation is jaw dropping.  It's a fuking religion to these people.  This is the pointless, confused shit people think about when they have too much free time, material prosperity and security.  Or, more to the point, its what people worry about when they have no soul.

I'll use the Star Wars analogy.  Star Wars was a much better franchise when the Empire was the bad guy.  Which is they they are going back to that formula in the latest installment.  Likewise, America was a much better country when it has a defining cause (Manifest Destiny) or an enemy (the Evil Soviet Empire) to rally against.  We've lost that, so we are just floundering.

That's only the tip of iceberg of Buchanan's delusion

"[Clinton] regretted not intervening in Rwanda to halt the genocide" ...would be plausible except for the fact Susan Rice, Susan Power, and the CIA were intervening in Rawanda (and supplying rebels with stinger missiles which brought down a certain airplane and led directly to that genocide, while at the same time trying to disarm and then eliminate the woefully inadequate UN misssion, and looking the other way as the Rice/CIA/Clinton pet Paul Kagame went on a killing spree across the border...)

Fast forward to the current administration Susan Rice, Susan Power, and the CIA were intervening in Libya, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Mali, Ukraine, Afganistan, Azerbaijan, and God knows where else (and using Qatar to supply rebels with stinger missiles which brought have down a US military planes and killed US military personnel, in addition to actually making both Afganistan and Iraq moar FUBAR, and Rice/CIA/Clinton pet ISIS went on a killing spree across the border...)

Rinse, Repeat... So back to Buchanan (and Obama's) delusion:

Barack Obama promised to end the Bush wars and bring the troops home. And he was rewarded with two terms by a country that has shown minimal enthusiasm for more wars in the Middle East.

Obama is now openly mocking the McCainiacs.

“Right now, if I was taking the advice of some of the members of Congress who holler all the time, we’d be in, like, seven wars right now,” he told a group of veterans and Gold Star mothers of slain U.S. soldiers.

If compasses sometimes don't work near the Bermuda Triangle, perhaps moral compasses and reason suffer the same breakdown in proximity to the Golden Triangle (which spreads from Obama's gaping back door to the den of viper lobbyists who pull the strings of State).

US is too busy making money off consumers backs and confusing the virtual world with the real world, so yeah, where'e the cause..average consumer..dunno..

Here's the end of Common Sense as we know it, everything needs a score, or that's what big media tells you as well as the government as no longer can you rely on your own common sense for simple decision, you need a score created by some algorithmic genius to tell you that you are ok with your decision..

Can you imagine the neocons repenting for their egregious transgressions against the people of the Middle East, Vietnam, or Iraq in particular? Do you think that God would accept their repentance after all this abuse inflicted on the world?

I get your point, and I respect your opinions, but I do not think that the one per cent reads the Bible, or worships God almighty. After 911 we all realized that the neocons went completely insane, and passed the point of no return. Frankly, they have a collective death wish IMHO. cheers, eh.

I don't believe in Creationist Dogma but I do believe in its essence. As Einstein said (and he was no slouch) : Beyond rationality is the realm of the irreal and lets believe in the Marvelous as its beyond our comprehension.

The Bible only taught me three notions : faith, hope and charity.

Aristotle taught me like Plutarch : we are what we do, and when we do wrong, we undo ! That's pragmatism and common sense.

Plutarch of course taught the world : History rhymes and we can learn from it ! As human nature is sooo predictable.

Why on earth does America need a cause anyway? To excuse the inexcusable actions of its master class? Lord knows the only cause they ever managed to actually promote was their own.

America doesn't need a cause. America's government needs to do its actual job---enforcing the law, defending the nation's borders. All assistance to other nations---including Israel, who has her God to defend her and can take care of herself, if Uncle Sugar will only allow her to do so---must end.

Leave the salvation of mankind to God's only Son, our Lord. An American government serious about human salvation could begin by ceasing to persecute the Christian and Jewish faiths.

How can he describe those wars as a "cause" or "mission"? Maybe his reactive arthritis cloulds his judgement.

from wikipedia:  Buchanan was born into a Catholic family and attended Catholic schools, including the Jesuit-run Gonzaga College High School. As a student at Georgetown University, he was in ROTC but did not complete the program. He received his draft notice after he graduated in 1960. However, the District of Columbia draft board exempted Buchanan from military service because of reactive arthritis, classifying him as 4-F.

Berlin Wall gone [again the USSR had nothibg to do with the collapse, but West Germany and East Germany coming to their senses] 1989?

USSR gone Christmas day 1991 officially [but it was not the USSA that destroyed the Empire, but the Old guard Bolshevik`Stalinist/ Marxs that ran it into the ground as far back as 1985] relegated to a failed ideology. Period!

The Iran/ Iraq War 1980/1989 perpetuated by the USSA & British playing both sides.

1979 Islam`Inflamed by the Iranian Revolution that never ended? The nascent Sunni-Shia Muslims vow to rid the Middle East of the infidel occupiers.

Afghanistan War pays for Pakistan Nuclear Program orchestrated by Brzezinski/CIA/ Saudia Arabia

Al Qaeda trained with Mujahideen now a Taliban without a cause, with a int'l`fatwa to kill any and all westerners!

Saudi Arabians hit 911 with Bush #43 well aware that the strike would be, in all probability hijaked airplanes in Jan/2001 and did nothing but promote trade agreements and plot immediately about invading Iraq, with no interest in Al Qaeda. Why?

It's rather simple reasoning today!

Under 'America at War' the #43 [Bush Jr.]president has turned #41s [Bush Sr.] 'New World Order' into a reality! And now he has eviserated the constitution along with the Republic {checks and balances by Congress and the Supreme Court into lap dogs] now a dictatorship Empire!!!

"For what end, other than defending our citizens, vital interests and crucial allies, would we be willing to send a great army to fight — as we did in Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan?"

Geezuz, this is a proufoundly disturbing essay.  It presumes that no cause but war is worth pursuing   It assumes that America must have a national concensus to perpetually engage in war or be belittled as uncommitted to anything and completely devoid of a purpose for its existence as a nation.

Pat Buchanan, eh?

How many other completely clueless and supremely dangerous assholes are running around in Washington D.C.?

No wonder we are continuously embroiled in war.   So, we are to start this discussion by taking for granted that Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan were noble endeavors that greatly benefitted us as a nation?  How about starting it by assuming that each of these wars once their cost is combined has played the foremost role in the destruction of prosperity in our homeland, taken the lives of tens of thousands of our soldiers, and ended in humiliating defeat.  In the end, nobody was enriched but the weapon makers and the generals and their increased military budgets.  I almost forgot the bankers who skimmed off their share.

How different would the world be today if all of that treasure, and all of those lives, had instead been spent on improving the lives or ordinary people around the world.  If even the teeiest fraction of that money could have been, for example, spent on tsunami buoys for the Indian Ocean?  Or, better yet, never taken from the taxpayers in the first place so that could spend or save as they pleased for the betterment of themselves and their own families?

I sincerely doubt that your daily life or mine would be affected one iota if Saddam still ruled Iraq and the "province" of Kuwait, and if the Taliban were in control of Afghanistan. How has the united, communist Vietnam altered your daily life? How many times has a "national consensus" been achieved by lies like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, or the supposed "weapons of mass destruction"?

Sure, there are times you must go to war, but the idea that we must send our troops overseas to first destroy and the rebuild other nations in our image needs to be seen as the utter disaster it actually has proven to be.  We've gotten pretty good at the destroying part, but never seem to make it through the rebuilding stage, mainly because the nations we destroy seem to be highly resistant to being remade in our image.  In the end we declare victory, go home, and things resume along the same historical path they were rambling down before we intervened.

What is Einstein's definition of insanity?

When you look at today's world and measure it against the world I knew back when I first came of age, the American way of life has pretty much seeped into most of the world without any need for military coercion or the formation of some sort of national resolve to go forth and open up cans of whupass all over the planet.

WRONG.  If "America" meant anything, it meant "individualism" and "liberty"... two concepts that fit together like hand and glove.

Which means, the valid concept of America is precisely the antithesis of "having a cause", no matter what that cause might be.

To be an "individualist" means... to pay attention and take care of your own individual life... AND... to leave the other 7-billion beings on planet earth alone so they too can pay attention and take care of their own individual lives.

By the very nature of "liberty" and "individualism"... there can be no "cause", because that presumes everyone surrender much of their focus and efforts on their own life and future to some "cause".  Well, quite obviously, by its very nature, a "cause" is an imposed vision, and imposed priority, an imposed action, an imposed expense.

No real American would ever speak of a "cause"... unless they only mean "their own individual cause", or at most, the "cause" of a small group of individuals who individually adopt a cause, then 100% voluntarily decide to collaborate because they see synergies in working in coordination (perhaps due to the potential efficiency of "division of labor").

-----

I wonder.  Can regular folks even imagine in their wildest dreams a world in which every individual simply pursues their own interests and visions?  I must say, from all evidence I see, modern humans cannot even conceive of a world like that.  Which is why, humans are finished.

To be sure, not every one of these individuals is involved in pushing every "cause"... which is why many "causes" exist.

Welfare: It’s A Minority (And Immigrant) Thing

As mass Third-World immigration continues, the US will have an ever-burgeoning dependent class of non-whites. Black voters will be joined by increasing number of Hispanic voters in their support for more handouts. When they vote in 2016, a majority of black and Hispanic households are likely to be on welfare–just as they were in 2012. Arguments about freedom and limited government will mean nothing to them. Obamacare is just the beginning.

Whites must decide if this is the future they want for their children and grandchildren. If they don’t take action soon, blacks and Hispanics will decide for them.

Lots of things have gone wrong which must be addressed and resolved: too much govt, too much power in the hands of big money, criminal banksters, Wall Street's become a casino, ruling elites, polarisation of wealth and dual passport holders wield too much influence.

This article completely ignores the real state of American domestic divisions to focus on an absurd "need" for some kind of international crusade.  What the author fails to realize is that no unifying principle for jumping into foreign wars is needed, if the electorate (excepting only the 1% uberrich who desire to continue making profits by the good old-fashioned means of plundering furrinners) is virtually united in the belief that we need to exit offshore entanglements.

Americans are tired of being asked to sacrifice blood and treasure for the greater profit of Exxon (or Haliburton, or Monsanto, or DelMonte, or . . .).  And they are getting wise enough to ignore the crusade-generating slogans of politicians bought and paid for by those corporations.

The issues that divide America are not in this story, dor do people dare speak of them.

America is divided by race, by ethnicity, money, religion and by what means are we going to live by and by what social order.

As a country we have allowed 30 million border invaders into the country and we are hell bent on giving them a voice in the process which we will use to discuss our divisions. These people, however well meaning, have not assimilated, do not see themselves as Americans, have little knowledge of our Constitution and believe that Government expediency on their behalf is their salvation.

These are our problems and we are not talking about them, - much less attempting to fix them from the perspective of what is good for the whole of America.  Our better days are behind us, - not because we do not measure up to our forefathers, but because we do not measure up to their love of country, their unity as Americans and ultimately to the sacrifices that are needed to make this country great again.

America is actually controlled by a Deep State Shadow Government, and therefore, the article above was of extremely poor quality due to not appearing to understand that at all!

America is far more divided than the article above seems to comprehend. The most spectacular symbol of that, so far, was that the events on 9/11/2001 were an inside job, false flag attack. Similarly, the financial crises in 2008 were another inside job, whose roots can be also be traced back to 9/11.

Overall, America suffers the intense paradoxes of being driven towards final failure from too much success based upon controlling civilization by backing up lies with violence. The American economy is based upon governments ENFORCING FRAUDS by privately controlled banks. Pretty well everything, both domestically and in foreign affairs, was driven by debt slavery systems backed up by wars based on deceits.

America is on the tragic trajectory of debt insanities provoking death insanities. Everywhere one looks, one can observe the same basic pattern of problems as recently reviewed in this article: Another Government Ponzi Scheme Starts To Crack ...

Americans suffer from thinking about their political problems using false fundamental dichotomies, and then proposing bogus "solutions" based upon somehow realizing impossible ideals. The actual social facts are that the government of the USA has become the biggest form of organized crime in the world, which is controlled by the best organized gang of criminals, as a Deep State Shadow Government, whose primary manifestation is that governments ENFORCE FRAUDS by privately controlled banks.

It appears that the majority of Americans do not fully understand and appreciate that those are the actual social facts, while the few that do STILL think about those political problems using false fundamental dichotomies, and therefore, STILL promote bogus "solutions" based upon impossible ideals, which can never actually be realized, but rather, can only make the opposite happen in the real world.

The "cause" that America should be in search of is to go through series of intellectual scientific revolutions, which produce profound paradigm shifts in the ways that Americans perceive political problems. One way of expressing that would be to assert that not only should enough Americans understand how and why there actually is a Deep State Shadow Government, which is manifesting as the American government being the biggest form of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals, but also, that the only genuine resolutions to those political problems require the development of better organized crime, which requires that enough Americans recognize that "citizens" are actually members of an organized crime gang called their "country."

The article above was yet another, although slightly worse, example of superficial analysis that does not sufficiently address the social facts regarding the existence of the Deep State Shadow Government. Of course, therefore, it dismally fails to approach any better understanding of how and why that Deep State Shadow Government actually exists, and controls the public government through the professional hypocrisies of political puppets.

Americans are sinking into the quagmires of their beliefs in their state religions, the monetary system, and national security, in ways that they mostly do not appear to be aware of, while the few that do somewhat notice that continue to thrash around proposing bullshit "solutions" to those problems based upon the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies and related impossible ideals, that are their own preferred old-fashioned religions and ideologies.

The means become the ends. The mechanisms that actually exist are the dynamic equilibria between different systems of organized lies operating robberies. However, the public political discourse in North America, as well as pretty well everywhere else, is that promoted by the best available professional liars and immaculate hypocrites, who continue to be socially successful by perceiving the world through false fundamental dichotomies, and therefore, asserting that the "solutions" are to continue to endeavour to somehow realize impossible ideals.

An article like the one above is totally drowning in its taking for granted the biggest bullies' bullshit world views. Those problems are extremely profound, because while human beings and civilization necessarily live as entropic pumps of environmental energy flows, the ways that society is almost totally dominated by the history of social successfulness based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS has resulted in almost everyone deliberately ignoring the principle of the conservation of energy, while deliberately misunderstanding the concept of entropy in the most absurdly backward ways possible.

America has led the world in the development of globalized systems of electronic money frauds, backed by the threat of force from weapons of mass destruction. The only genuine resolutions of those sorts of political problems demand that civilization should continue to go through series of profound paradigm shifts in the ways that people perceive political problems. I.e., not only is it necessary to face the social facts regarding the significance of the Deep State Shadow Governments, but moreover, it is more necessarily to more fully appreciate how and why those are the social facts.

Theoretically speaking, enough people need to breakthrough to deeper levels of understanding how and why natural selection pressures drove the development of artificial selection systems based upon the maximum possible deceits and frauds. Nothing less could be sufficient to cope with the existence of globalized systems of electronic frauds, backed by atomic bombs.

The existence of globalized electronic frauds backed by atomic bombs should drive enough people to go through more creative synthesis of ancient mysticism with post-modernizing science. America has led the way in the development of that kind of science and technology, while it has therefore also led the way in the political developments of an oxymoronic scientific dictatorship, where there are developing wider and wider Grand Canyon Chasms between progress in physical science, without any similar progress in political science.

An article like the one above was yet another example of how deeply dismal is the level of political discourse that tends to be publicly presented in the American context. The failure to face the facts regarding the degree to which America is actually being controlled by a Deep State Shadow Government is then more seriously compounded by nothing regarding any better understanding of how and why those became the actual social facts.

The excessively successfulness of the dominance of the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories has resulted in us living inside of Wonderland Matrix Bizarro Worlds, where everything has become as absurdly backwards as it could possibly become. Those problems have developed INTENSE PARADOXES due to the degree that there has been prodigious progress in physical science, through series of profound paradigm shifts, all of which tend to be deliberately ignored, and/or inverted, throughout all aspects of culture, including even the dominant philosophy of science that most people continue to take for granted, despite that becoming quite dangerously obsolete and misleading.

The most BASIC ISSUES are due to the political economy being based upon ENFORCING FRAUDS, whose social successfulness became based upon the vast majority of people deliberately ignoring, and/or misunderstanding, the basic laws of nature in the most absurdly backward ways. For instance, again consider the most spectacular symbol of the 9/11 events. In order to believe the official story regarding those events, one has to deliberately ignore some of the most basic laws of nature. Similarly, but more abstractly, to accept the FRAUDS of privately controlled banks making the public "money" supplies out of nothing, as debts for everyone else, the vast majority of people also have to deliberately ignore the principles of the conservation of energy (including its special case of the conservation of matter), along with deliberately misunderstand the concept of entropy in the most absurdly backward ways. The long history of governments ENFORCING FRAUDS by privately controlled banks, for generation after generation, has driven the civilization dominated by that kind of excessively successful organized crime to develop into being runway criminal insanities!

The current sociopolitical systems in America had deeper reasons, which were comprehensive and comprehensible, for how and why the best organized gangs of criminals were able to capture control over the American government, and thereby transform that government into becoming the biggest form of organized crime and terrorism on the planet. However, those reasons for how and why that happened ought not be approached through reliance upon the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies, and then proposing bullshit based upon impossible ideals as being the bogus "solutions" for those kinds of political problems.

In my view, an article like the one above has barely even begun to go through the paradigm shifts in perception that are necessary to face the social facts regarding the existence of the Deep State Shadow Government. Similarly, in my view, the majority of the comments posted on Zero Hedge under an article like the one above, as well as typically elsewhere, tend to get stranded in half way positions regarding the necessary paradigm shifts in perception.

Not only IS America actually being controlled by a Deep State Shadow Government, but also there are good reasons, based upon human beings and civilization operating as general energy systems, for how and why that is actually the case.
