You Know It's Bad When...
...more Venzuelans than Americans believe their children's financial futures will be more secure than their own...
While some might argue "well, Venezuela are at rock-bottom, so they only have on way to go," there is certainly no fundamental or economic sign of such a renaissance and besides, with the bedrock of America built on optimism, this survey strongly suggests The American Dream, if not broken, is faltering as average-joes everywhere lose faith in politicians and central-planners. Ironically, with the rise of Sanders (and Hillary's populism), Venezuela is perhaps a good glimpse of the socialist utopia that lies ahead for The Land of The Free (as long as it's fair and equal).

If you were to compare this to a "Free" Trade time line you would see the US go from the top to the bottom while all those other countries rise. Much of this is due to "Free" Trade, which was not so "Free". So much for the government working for the people, if there was any question as to the competence of our leadership, it should be answered as a huge fail, this is just more evidence.
By saying "Free trade" you mean free money.
No I mean they all have our "worthless" manufacturing jobs and income, so now they have hope and we have nothing but low paying jobs like they had before "Free" Trade? I cant imagine the cost of "Free" Trade. Little do they know technology will steal their optimism shortly. Everyone else also has hope because they think the US is strong, those of us here know thats not the case, If we are the best thing this planet has I understand why there would be little hope.
Simple: when you hit the rock-bottom, the only way is UP.
Supply side economics got us into this mess. Time to stimulate demand for a little while. Sanders 2016!
