"Everything We Know" About Russian Intervention In Syria: The Infographic
Over the course of the past four weeks, Russia has captured the world’s attention with Moscow’s “unexpected” intervention in Syria’s protracted civil war.
While it wasn’t difficult to predict some manner of intervention by The Kremlin (the world has long known Putin to be a staunch Assad ally and both Russia and China have voted together on the Security Council to prevent the conflict from being referred to The Hague), what was surprising to some observers was the rapidity and efficiency with which Moscow deployed to Latakia.
Russia’s swift buildup and subsequent air campaign took the West completely off guard as Washington and its European and regional allies apparently assumed Moscow would adopt a similar strategy to that pursued in eastern Ukraine where Kremlin support has been more tacit than explicit.
For those interested, we present the following infographic which endeavors to outline “everything we know” about Russia’s deployment in Syria from sorties flown out of Latakia, to overflight denials, to cruise missile strikes.

Our dear leader will get the economy going again going up against Russia and China both at the same time - because we can.
Until we can't. Moar debt printing preeses will be needed over at the Yellen Fed.
Europe needs a European supplier of gas. Period. Let it be.
Putin had a huge advantage over everyone else in the battle against ISIS. He had Assad with all of his intelligence on his side. Assad knows exactly where and how ISIS operates.
Poland allowed supply flights through their airspace? wow!
Yes that is really strange. It also surprised me a lot.
Poland, the government, hates Russia. But Poland, the people likes it for kicking ISIS's ass... so for once public opinions matters.
Its interesting that the Poles hate Russia.....they should also hate the Germans, no?
After all, 1939 was a joint operation.....but they want into NATO which Germany belongs?
Some shit just don't make sense.
If I was in the polish establishment, I'd get myself and A-bomb....then everyone would leave you alone.

The Americans could also have the advantage, but they refused the Syrian government intelligence.
It would be a bit weird using their intelligence considering how much the Americans wanted to lie themselves into a war with them
And ISIS had the supoport of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and the United States of America. So you think it all came down to intelligence?
Question: How much gas does Europe buy from Russia if Europe is engulfed in some kind of war concerning migrants?
All American weapons are mostly assembeled in America but half the parts come from the cheapest suppliers who bring it in from China and Korea.
Granny yellen gonna bust a quarter point cap in they ruso-chicom asses this week, and show them she still be queen of the hood. Word
The Nobel Prize Winner's intervention in Syria has killed 300,000 and created over 4 million refugees. Putin can surely do no worse.
ISIS is now in disarray and US newspapers are saying that Putin is killing civilians while ignoring the 300,000 killed by the Nobel Prize Winner's intervention in Syria. Obama is ramping up ammunition drops to ISIS and other terrorists and sending more troops to Iraq to halt Putin's momentum. The chance of a major war increases everyday

" protracted civil war."
This stopped being a civil war years ago. This is a proxy war against Syria/Iran/Russia, fought *overwhelmingly* by foreign mercenaries.
Parenthetically, by all accounts a large chunk of the native Syrian rebels are Islamists.
No matter what one thinks of Putin, or Assad, Assad's "regime" is the legal government, and did no worse to civilians than has the US, UK, Israel, Saudis, or Turks - i.e. the states behind the war.
Assad is, without any doubt at all, the least worst option, and by transitive property, any non-Islamist Syrian rebel fighting Assad is effectively fighting on the side of takfiri jihadists and the Anglo-Zionist regime change machine. Hence *they* are legitimate targets, as acting against the interests of the Syrian people themselves.
All the propaganda aside, the US and its allies have been supporting terrorists and psychopaths not merely to depose Assad - but to destroy Syria as a functioning state.

What person has ever come out of Syria or the middle east in the last 1900 years that was of any worth? Why do we have to keep sending american soldiers over to the middel east? America is largely oil independant now.
you have to keep sending them because your government is evil and kills people all over the world for corporate and geopolitical gains.
And I suppose you consider the scumbag, pedophile pervert, psychotic criminals in Wall Street, Congress, academia, and mainstream media as the measure of "worth"
I can think of a one right off the top of my head that have been major contributors to USSA GDP; Tim Osman, look at what he has done for the drone industry and the MIC as a whole.......... he's the USSA/NAZIONIST poster child for unlimited war after all.......//s
Steve Job's dad.
2 words to explain it "reserve currency". Oil & gas sales determined in US dollars are the lynchpin of the US dollar reserve currency. If that goes away so does the US dollar as a reserve currency. Then the US can't just print and inflate its way out of debt like it has for 40 years.
Look up what has happened to every country selling or trying to sell oil & gas for non-US dollars in the last 40 years. Not a pretty picture.
So Russia is selling lots of oil & gas and is doing it for non-US dollars. Hard to invade, leader is popular so what to do? Get an alternate source of gas to their largest market (Europe) that will be sold for US dollars. The Qatar pipeline would have gone through SA, Jordan, Syria & Turkey. Syria said no. Then all hell breaks loose is Syria. Go figure.
Axe Prez. Eisenhower, he gave a cool going away speech about it.

I think the world will soon stop loaning the US money, at which point many thing stop. If you can find a financial instrument in a post-quake locale that you can trust, shorting the US of A is a very good bet.
On that second map showing countries which are denying Russian overfly routes, why do two of the three routes go thru Bulgarian air space?
It is NOT a protracted civil war genius! Please get an education and do much better homework ..

Putin and Iran are only relieving symptoms. The real cure lies in expunging cognitive dissonance from the greater populace of the entire planet ..
Anyone talking about rebuilding Syria yet?
Rebuilding? Hell no, not yet a while.
Al Qaeda and allies must be slaughtered first. That will likely take another two or three months.
No, it needs to be destroyed a bit more so there will be more work for international construction firms. You see, war is good for some. Of course, these might now be Russian construction firms.
That would be China´s part in this.
I have been studying the geopolitical situation in the Middle East and have concluded that this is very similar to the 1963 Bronx gang war between the Wanderers, Del Bombers, Wongs and Ducky Boys. There are minor differences like a shit load of people getting killed, refugees, the chance of WWIII breaking out and a major economic depression, also the Wanderers movie was way cooler, more intelligent and more entertaining than the Middle East shit fight.

Latest NYT Big Lie: Russia Responsible for Syrian Refugee “Surge”
TND Guest Contributor: Stephen Lendman
Times reporting shifts from the absurd to the contemptible to the outrageous in virtually every article on geopolitical issues. It’s a Lying Machine - a house organ for administration, Pentagon and corporate interests exclusively, the public be damned.

Wow, that map is way way out of date!
Russia is working on building up to running about 220 sorties/day rather than the 65 sorties/day or so they presently average.
This means more air bases (or at least more runways) and lots of materiel. Mostly brought by sea on navy landing craft and about 10 recently purchased old vessels of under 1000 tons each.
