Hundreds Of Refugees In Germany "Mysteriously Disappear"; Local Authorities Clueless Where They Are

Tyler Durden's picture

In the latest, and most bizarre yet, twist in Europe's refugee crisis at least seven hundred of the roughly 4,000 asylum-seekers who had initially been accomodated by the German state of Lower Saxony have "mysteriously disappeared" according to a survey in the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (NOZ).

Because many of the refugees hadn’t been registered yet, Germany's The Local reports, nothing is known about who they are or where they might have gone; this has left the local authorities in the uncomfortable position of being completely clueless about who and where they can currently be found.

In one refugee centre in Lingen, the local member of parliament turned up for a visit on Saturday to find that over half of the 212 refugees brought to the centre had already left.

Timo Frers, spokesman for the town of Delmenhorst, said that the refugees don't know where they are taken after they arrive in Bavaria. "Most of the time they don't know where they are. We recently put up a map of Germany so they can orientate themselves," Frers told the Local.

According to Sputnik, some have speculated that the immigrants departed from the mostly rural province to either reunite with their relatives or to look for more attractive places to stay elsewhere in Germany or even abroad, according to the Local. Others point to failures to provide adequate housing for refugees.

The Local adds that the Federal Ministry for Labour is now estimating that as many as 300,000 of the refugees who arrive in Germany in 2015 will travel on to other countries, although it is unclear just where considering it was Germany's desire to welcome refugees with open hands is what set off a crisis that is rocking all of Europe, and has pushed Merkel's popularity ratings to 4 year lows.

The local politicians are furious: "Angelika Jahn, a spokeswoman for the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in Lower Saxony, described the situation as “unacceptable” telling NOZ that refugees must be registered immediately upon arrival. But others pointed to failures in the system of housing the refugees."

As a result, the anger is spilling over to the common people too: "In Freiberg in Saxony on Sunday evening demonstrators tried to stop asylum seekers reaching a refugee centre. The protesters tried to stop a bus with refugees from driving further down the road by staging a sit-in.

Some people threw apples at the bus, while others set off bangers, the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.

Around 50 counter-demonstrators also turned up to the anti-refugee sit-in and there were tense verbal stand-offs between the two groups, although police confirmed the situation did not escalate into violence."

Meanwhile in Mecklenberg-Western Pomerania, two local politicans have been threatened by people with presumed far right motives, reports the Hamburg Abendblatt.

Patrick Dahlemann of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) had his car attacked with butyric acid. The foul smelling chemical was poured onto his vehicle.

On his Facebook page Dahlemann said that he would not be intimidated in his efforts to foster a “a real culture of hospitality” in the poor north-eastern state.

And with xenophobia slowly on the rise, the far-right elements are stirring: "Meanwhile in Mecklenberg-Western Pomerania, two local politicans have been threatened by people with presumed far right motives, reports the Hamburg Abendblatt."

Party colleague Susann Wippermann also suffered threats when an unknown person wrote “traitor to the nation” on her car windscreen.

This follows a warning last week from the Federal Office of Investigation (BKA) which warned that politicians who support refugees face increased danger of attack from far right groups. Earlier in October Cologne Mayor Henriette Reker was stabbed while campaigning for election by an assailant with self-declared anti-refugee motives.

What would be more disturbing is if one or more of the "disappeared" refugees were to reappear in a violent capacity elsewhere in Germany, or Europe, leading to bloodshed or casualties. At that point the revulsion against the migrant invasion will surely overflow leading to a far greater crisis, one based on ethnicity and ideology, than anything the "new", "united" Europe has suffered yet revealing just how little in Europe has actually changed in the past 100 years.

"it was Germany's desire to welcome refugees with open hands is what set off a crisis that is rocking all of Europe"

Must be a typo; you must have meant that it was Turkey's and Greece's initiative, at their overlords' behest, to flood Europe with refugees that set off this manufactured crisis.

"have the Muslims changed in over 1600 years?"

Well, being they've only been around ~1,450 years we'll need to wait another 150 years to be sure, but no, they haven't.

In the Syrian city of Yabrud Islamist terrorists have ruined one of the country’s oldest Christian shrines – the church of Sts. Constantine and Helen. The building dates    back to the first millennium BC, when the site was a pagan temple. It became a church in 331 AD

Consider, this Christian church was established in Syria about 240 years before Muhammad was even born.

Across the middle east Muslims are laying claim to areas as if their religion were indigenous and Christians were newcomers converting their Muslim Brothers. thus justifying their brutality.   The propagandized western public winks a blind eye to the destruction of secular governments in Syria and through out the Middle East and North Africa.

Muslims are the faux crusaders of the day, fomented and funded by the Western Globalists who seek the chaos they cause to further their plans for top down world domination, AKA "world unity", "Planetary brotherhood" and so much other propaganda bullshit!

At least it's humorous to watch witless people that have no sense of themselves as part of their group try to pretend that ethnic groups do not exist...  while still behaving in accordance with their instincts anyway.  I wouldn't take investment advice from people incapable of identifying how groups of people are likely to behave.  But again, whatever...

Matthew 24:7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." The word "nation" in this context does not especially refer to a political or civic entity. It can also be translated as "ethnicity". This is made clear by the very next phrase "kingdom against kingdom". There are several other references to calamatous civil wars in prophecy. We are looking at the conditions lining up. That commandment is mistranslated. The original word used was "ratsah" meaning murder, the word kill is "harag". Not your fault. The original Latin Vulgate translation of the Torah made that error by using the word "occidere" meaning kill, instead of the word "iugulo" for murder.

The Anglicans I know fall into one of two "co-opted" camps, 1) the pro punishment, pro war, pro establishment zionist camp or 2) establishment progressives who are pro abortion, pro gay marriage, believe in AGW but who are attracted to the tradition of going to church.  They have already succeeded in controlling these churches and what the people believe, the people are their own worst enemies. I am nitpicking your post but I think they've already phased out the Christianity part successfully in most cases.

That being said, some protestant churches like the Methodists (in my parts) seem to quietly keep on trucking 'under the radar"

What would be more disturbing is if one or more of the "disappeared" refugees were to reappear in a violent capacity elsewhere in Germany, or Europe, leading to bloodshed or casualties. At that point the revulsion against the migrant invasion will surely overflow leading to a far greater crisis, one based on ethnicity and ideology, than anything the "new", "united" Europe has suffered yet revealing just how little in Europe has actually changed in 10,000  years.

I love how the MSM propagates the lie that Nazis were far right. The Nazis were an extreme FAR LEFT group. They were fascist socialists. Socialism by definition is leftist. The MSM HATES that little piece of truth and goes out of their way every time to associate right wing conservative groups with Nazis. Most people swallow it down hook, line and sinker. NOTHING in history is more dangerous to freedom and security than the far left.

Turning people into ashes isn't exactly a conserv-ative propensity.

Nazi's were a unique form of political expression often confused with a right wing nationalism often found in the conservative camp. The radical changes in society that Nazi ideology embraced, however, move it far from a conservative bent.

Naziism was full of hope and change.

The proper way to look is not a straight like going left to right but more of a ever widening figure. On one side you have a single point  and it represents absolute freedom. On the other end is a wide area that represents different flavors of totalitarianism. That includes fascism, communism, theocracy , monarchy,... etc.

The different labels can be applied to anywhere in that spectrum.

you're both doing a circle jerk.  go far enough to the left on a cirlce, you end up right.

there is one scale from 0% tyranny (100% freedom as anarchy) to 100% tyranny.  almost all governments are over 80%.  Political Islam is very close to 100% as was/are Nazism, communism and fascism.  sheesh.

Wed, 10/28/2015 - 10:44 | 6720917 Memedada

I agree – there are more dimension than a simple right-left to ideologies. The definition (if we actually want a vocabulary to describe these things – I know there’re strong interest that doesn’t want us to) of left-wing and right-wing economics is, however, simple:

Right-wing (capitalist economic system): based on the private ownership of the means of production.

Left-wing (socialist economic system): based on the public and/or common/social ownership of the means of production.

The size of the state, the extension of state control, the degree of ‘free markets’ etc. are, however, not defining of either left- or right-wing. You have totalitarian tendencies on both sides of the political spectrum.

My ambition – by debating this – is to have a shared language (=to be able to communicate). Right now there a very big difference in how ideologies/terms are used in US and in Europe. Maybe we just need to invent new terms to escape the muddling of the existing ones.

Wed, 10/28/2015 - 11:04 | 6721045 viahj

break your fixation on left/right.  that is a system mechanism to divide and conquer and the vocabulary itself is a co-opted tool.  concentrate on the levels of centralization of control to discuss what the appropriate level is for your specific community.  the smaller the community, the less control required.

any economic system can constitute 100% tyranny.  pure capitalism starts as 0% tyranny and then develops into 100% tyranny if left unchecked.  socialism starts @ 50% tyranny and then develops into 100%.

It is you who are clueless. But to your excuse a lot of people in US have no clue about ideologies (including the right-left dimension). It is by design.

Fascism is not socialist – fascism is the state being controlled exclusively by and for the capitalist class. The use different symbols/mythos to legitimate the power of the state: nationalism, patriotism, scape-goating etc.

But the defining aspect of the fascist state is who controls the means of production.

Both the fascist Spain (Franco), Italy (Mussolini) and Germany (Hitler) was supported and kept in power by strong capitalist interest (including some of “your people” – look into the history of the Bush-family).

The right-wing of European countries welcomed Hitlers rise to power (as a bulwark against ‘Bolshevism’), the right-wing newspapers were uncritical towards Hitler (some had to make public apologies after the war), the absolute majority of freedom-fighters in NAZI-occupied countries were left-wing. The socialist, communist, anarchist and left-wing parties in general were made illegal by the NAZIs. A ticket to death camps were not only given on ethnic terms: unionists, left-wing intellectuals, communists, anarchists etc. were summarily send to concentration-camps.

There’re strong interests in US to blur what’s going on today – and that fascism is an extension of capitalists control over the society by taken over the state (even in non-fascist, but capitalist, countries the capitalists have more power than the average citizen = the system is per design undemocratic to start with. Fascism is just more blatant (for most – apparently not you)).

Try and find sources for your ‘education/knowledge’ that are not sponsored/controlled by corporations (especially the Koch-brothers have had success in dumbing down the US population – i.e. the false version of libertarianism).

People who use govenrment to create laws that make themselves richer and more powerful are not capitalists.  Capitalism cannot exist where  "the state being controlled exclusively by and for the capitalist class".  That is unless everybody is considered to be the capitalist class such as early America (using the definition of all men in place at the time).

Subsequently the rest of your post is just more college professor bullshit propaganda.

One persons propaganda is another persons truth. Propagandized mind see arguments made against their world-view as propaganda. The best way to combat propaganda is to demand arguments and clear definitions of terms used.

I’ve seen your definition of left- vs. right-wing and can see why we can’t communicate. I’m left-wing and opposed to strong states/governmental (or private) control (or any strong institutions that infringe on personal liberty/freedom – including the institutions of capitalism).

PS. Please deconstruct my propaganda and enlighten the masses (was Hitler not supported by strong capital interest? Was the socialist, communist, anarchists, unions not banned by Hitler? Was the majority of freedom-fighters not left-wing? Did the right-wing medias of the time not support Hitler?).

the MSM? It usually propagates that there is one correct and one incorrect side... like you, perhaps? ;-)

There are three ideological dimensions, and lots of extreme combinations

The (classic) liberal gone bad makes you his debt serf or sugar baby, and his hired mercenaries bomb you for the missing pound of flesh

The conservative gone bad burns you on a stake, gasses or crucifies you, particularly if you were so stupid to be born the wrong way

The socialist gone bad puts you in a labour camp and starves you... while preaching that it's your fault, really, for non-compliance to norms and equalitarian tenets

The Nazis hated the first and practiced the second and third

Hence, they were social conservative... extremists

In their words, NATIONAL (i.e. conservative) -SOCIALISTS, "Nazional-Sozialisten"
