That Musky Odor

Tim Knight from Slope of Hope's picture

Back on June 4th, I suggested that the bloom would soon be off the Elon "the next Steve Jobs" Musk, and that would express itself in the diminishment of price for SCTY and TSLA. As I put it, "One would think the market is trading Elon Musk’s reputation instead of two utterly separate companies, considering how they look like clones."

Well, TSLA moved higher after my post, but then ultimately headed lower (I've marked the post date with an arrow).

SolarCity, however, has been pretty much an unmitigated disaster (which is good), and again, I've denoted the date of the post with an arrow. The stock has moved even lower than when I took this snapshot. Simply stated, it has lost more than half its value since my post.

I think Tesla will ultimately "catch down" (as opposed to catch up) once reality starts to hit that firm as well. I believe remaining bearish on Mr. Musk is the right call.

Elon Musk was the co-founder of PayPal with... wait for it... Peter Thiel. Who is Peter Thiel? Just the HEAD of the Steering Committee for Bilderberg (AND the first and biggest contributer to Ron Paul's 2012 Presidential campaign PAC) Musk has the GLOBALIST'S money in his ventures. Sorta 'puts' a put under TSLA and SCTY... recent activity notwithstanding.

Jealous much?

They laughed at Jobs, on and off, for decades, too.
Genius will out.

How many of us here could teach themselves rocket science in a year and a half and go on to build a rocket ship company, all while building a solar company and an electric car company at the same time?

Not me.

The real question:  how many of us could fail to build a rocket ship and electric car company with govt mandated subsidies for your product?

Let us count Elon's contributions to the human race.  Lessee . . .paypal . . .a frictionless way to buy rubber dogshit on the computer.  Hm . . .a rilly expensive electric car for environmentally self-righteous rich folk.

He's only worth as much as his carbon credits.

How many "new technologies" are old technologies resold in a shiny new package of bullshit?  Elon Musk apparently invented laptop batteries and shoved them up the tailpipe of a car.  And for this, Boobus Americanus worships him as some kind of Green Genius.
