Congresswoman Calls US Effort To Oust Assad "Illegal," Accuses CIA Of Backing Terroists
One point we’ve been particularly keen on driving home since the beginning of Russian airstrikes in Syria is that The Kremlin’s move to step in on behalf of Bashar al-Assad along with Vladimir Putin’s open “invitation” to Washington with regard to joining forces in the fight against terrorism effectively let the cat out of the proverbial bag.
That is, it simply wasn’t possible for the US to explain why the Pentagon refused to partner with the Russians without admitting that i) the government views Assad, Russia, and Iran as a greater threat than ISIS, and ii) Washington and its regional allies don’t necessarily want to see Sunni extremism wiped out in Syria and Iraq.
Admitting either one of those points would be devastating from a PR perspective. No amount of Russophobic propaganda and/or looped video clips of the Ayatollah ranting against the US would be enough to convince the public that Moscow and Tehran are a greater threat than the black flag-waving jihadists beheading Westerners and burning Jordanian pilots alive in Hollywood-esque video clips, and so, The White House has been forced to scramble around in a desperate attempt to salvage the narrative.
Well, it hasn’t worked.
With each passing week, more and more people are beginning to ask the kinds of questions the Pentagon and CIA most assuredly do not want to answer and now, US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is out calling Washington’s effort to oust Assad both “counterproductive” and “illegal.” In the following priceless video clip, Gabbard accuses the CIA of arming the very same terrorists who The White House insists are "our sworn enemy" and all but tells the American public that the government is lying to them and may end up inadvertently starting “World War III.”

The idea of the EU having powers to control military and police of member states, the ECB being the head of all other central banks in the block and having control over member state economies trough control of debt among other tools.
Now enormous numbers of people are flooding Europe from the middle east, and because people like Merkel for instance have been sending out the message that everyone is welcome, its not just Syrians floating across the Mediterranean that are coming.
I suppose the expected results from this adventure would be that when the inevitable civil disorder and possible civil wars start, the EU will find a excuse to use force to contain the situation and issue patriot act style laws to get the authority needed to control things that are dangerous for all little superstates, like free speech.
It could be a good idea to stop this flow of people to Europe and ship those who are not from Syria or areas directly affected by the destruction of Syria, back to the place of origin.
Then start preparing Syrian refugees for their return to their countries, when Syria is ready to be rebuilt.
There are some ideas being discussed regarding shipping refugees who are just taking advantage of the situation back.

I saw Gabbard on CNN a few days ago and thought to myself "Hmm, she has a D next to her name but she is kind of pretty in her own way so I will listen to her for a while." She didn't say anything that pissed me off right away which is more than I can say for just about every other politician. It is good to see someone so young actually voice an opinion. I guess we shall see how she really is and how quickly she gets compromised.

Oil is a fungible commodity and additional, incremental supply brought to market will lower the price for all producers so any Iranian production, regarless of how it arrives, is going to exert downward price pressure and Iran can sell all the oil it wants to China so it really doesn't need European markets. Still, the fight is on and I say let them kill one another but our record bringing peace and stability to the ME is catastrophic we need to get out...
