New Poll Shows Carson Overtaking Trump In National Poll
The mainstream media is cock-a-hoop after CNBC-parent NBC and Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal reveal a new national poll that shows notjust Trump being beaten in 2nd place by Ben Carson (who is currently on a book tour) but also shows Marco Rubio surging (from 4% to 11%) if one wanted to spin it that way. Softly-spoken Carson, with 29% of the GOP primary voters polled, is ahead of Trump (23%) for the first time in the campaign, tripling his support since July (and as WSJ reports is the first Republican to top 50% when voters 2nd and 3rd choice are combined). On the other side of the scale, Bush's support is collapsing as Cruz and Rubio accelerate.

But a Monmouth University poll of New Hampshire Republican voters released Monday found that Trump -- while off the lead nationally -- is still the front-runner in that key early voting state, with 26% support to Carson's 16%, with Rubio in third at 13%.
Either way, Bush is collapsing...
On the Democratic side, Clinton holds a 2-to-1 advantage over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 62 percent to 31 percent, while former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley took in just 3 percent.
Finally we noted that The NBC/WSJ poll was completed Thursday evening… But they waited 4 days to announce it... one wonders why.

When you look at the details on these polls most show 85% may still change their minds. People start thinking about voting in a serious way 30 days before an election. Carson is doing well in the polls simply because they never let him talk very much in the debates. Once he really opens his mouth on the national stage he will be seen for the black Jimmy Carter that he is.
It's time for the RNC to cut the also rans out of the debates, and get down to the top 4 or 5 contenders so we can see who these clowns really are.
I hope you do get to see him talk more; you are easy to see as a true racist, but perhaps you will find that Carson thinks and speaks much like we would if we were there. Obama is in office under divine authority; however he represents judgment on a nation whose god is the "god of materialism". God is not to be toyed with and he will not be mocked. Look what He allowed to happen with Israel; His beloved who acted and now acts like a whore.
If Carson were to get into office and he is truly a Christian, which so far I have no reason to believe otherwise, then I would agree with your comment. Most people, including ZH'ers cannot define what constitutes a Christian much discern who is and who is not. I will say it is easier to tell who is not, than who is. For example, Obama, who claims to be a Christian is in no way shape or form; easy to discern. Same with Trump; he can pretend all he wants, but when he can't even share a favorite verse or verses of Scripture AND says it is a "private thing", then you know you are dealing with someone fake.
I give you an up vote for speaking your heart and for those that give the downvote; so what...most can see the sin/evil in everyone else so easily, but fail to see the problem within themselves and since God cannot look upon ANY sin favorably, those who are to proud to come for forgiveness to Jesus will die in unbelief and be in the same place as Obama, Yellen, & even John Kerry. In regards to Ben Carson (who I know very little about), I can make one clarifying statement with pretty good certainty. As a neurosurgeon, he is God.

Every network and newspaper is touting this one poll - even though many other polls still show Trump way out front.
The problem with polls is that most are done by phone - or at the convenience of the potential voter. But come the day of the primary or caucus, those voters actually have to drive somewhere, stand in line, and vote. It is hard to think that Trump supporters won't have 'more energy' than Carson supporters - and will actually go out to vote rather than just say they will go out and vote. That's why primary turnout is often much lower than the full election.
I can't support anyone, based on the "debates" which provide little meat on what these guys are for or against..that is why debates are a waste of time..fox business says they will stick with important points on the economy..we will see.
Sounds like the last GOP debate was more a "Reality" show than a debate...
I saw where Carson agreed with Obama on putting boots on the ground in Syria. That decided it for me!
Let us have a link showing the context of that; I'll guess that you cannot come up with it in the dogmatic context you stated. Why? Because Carson would only consider such a the same way that most ZH'er would.
Everyone should be glad that Carson is at the top, for anyone who listens to him will realize that he is actually different because he has a lifelong LIFE of integrity with an internal constraint.
The only way I will vote is if he is on the "ticket" because otherwise it is voting the lessor of two evils and I quit doing that a several years ago.
It would be divine providence if that Carson were to actually get into the White House and further providence to keep him alive.
