The Russian Question - How The War Party Has Demonized Putin & Co

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Justin Raimondo via AntiWar.com,

It’s 2018, and President Hillary Clinton has announced that the Russians have violated her “no fly zone” over Syria. Damascus is about to fall, as jihadists – some armed and supported by the United States – gather in a final assault on the city. In the fog of war, a Russian fighter jet nearly collides with a US warplane sent in to fulfill the US “responsibility to protect” the “moderate” rebels.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the newly-elected ultra-nationalist government has declared its intention to take back Crimea, and the freshly-rearmed Ukrainian military – with the neo-Nazi Azov Brigade in the lead – moves into the city of Mariupol, which has just voted to secede from Ukraine and asked for Russian protection. In Kalingrad, the isolated Russian outpost completely surrounded by Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea, groups funded by the EU are staging demonstrations demanding reunification with Germany. In the midst of all this, Vladimir Putin announces Russia’s withdrawal from the INF treaty, Russian forces converge on the border with the Baltic states, and President Clinton puts US nuclear forces in Germany – which have just undergone a second “upgrade” – on high alert.

Since the US-Russian verification and information exchange, mandated by the INF treaty, has been suspended since 2016, both countries are flying blind as far as monitoring the actions and intentions of the other.

It is near midnight in a small town in eastern Germany, as NATO radar picks up indications that what may be a Russian fighter squadron is headed for Kaliningrad, and NATO’s missile defense system – just installed in Poland last summer – readies its response. The world teeters on the brink of World War III, as Hillary Clinton gets that call at 3 a.m.….

Given the resumption of the cold war with Russia, some variation on the scenario described above is not only entirely possible, it is nearly inevitable. The INF treaty signed by Ronald Reagan is in danger of falling apart at the seams as NATO moves its forces ever closer to the Russian border and the Russians respond in kind. The US-EU coup d’etat in Ukraine, Georgia’s imminent entry into NATO, the “upgrading” of US nuclear weapons in Germany, and the radical uptick in anti-Russian rhetoric by US military and political figures has returned us to a danger we thought ended with the implosion of the Soviet empire: the threat of nuclear war.

Accusations that Russia has violated the terms of the INF Treaty are not quite true, but what is clear is that the US and its NATO allies are prepositioning heavy weaponry on their eastern frontier and doubling the size of our “Response Force” in Europe. The Russian response has been largely rhetorical: in terms of facts on the ground, their much-touted nuclear modernization effort still puts them many miles behind the US. As Adam Mount, Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, puts it:

“Even if Russia were somehow to accelerate its nuclear modernization efforts, the U.S. Department of Defense recognizes that Russia “would not be able to achieve a militarily significant advantage by any plausible expansion of its strategic nuclear forces, even in a cheating or breakout scenario under the New START Treaty.”

“To summarize: Russia could deploy many more missiles and still remain behind the United States in numbers of launchers and under the New START caps. Even if it cheated on the New START treaty and deployed still more, the Pentagon does not believe that this would significantly affect the strategic balance.”

The United States withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002, installed anti-ballistic missile systems in two east European countries, and has aggressively moved to expand NATO to the point that they are standing before the gates of Moscow. The Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, signed by President George Herbert Walker Bush and then Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in the winter of 1990, was effectively breached by the construction of permanent US military bases in Bulgaria and Romania, and the installation of US ABM facilities: the general atmosphere produced by the new cold war caused the Russians to formally withdraw from the treaty in 2007.

The encirclement of Russia is a key element of Putin’s justified paranoia: not only in Europe but also in Central Asia, the Americans are on the march, as John Kerry’s recent trip to the region demonstrates. There Kerry canoodled with Central Asian despots like Islam Karimov, whose bloody dictatorship is a model for tyrants everywhere, making stops in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan as well as Uzbekistan, where the USA maintains a military base not far from the Tajikistan border. Manas Air Base, near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, has been a key link in the supply chain servicing US troops in Afghanistan. Kerry’s Uzbekistan sojourn was marked by a news conference in which a Washington Post reporter was hustled out of the room by US and Uzbek security for asking inconvenient questions about Karimov’s horrendous human rights record.

But human rights are only an issue for Washington in this context insofar as they can be used to indict Putin: the arrest and imprisonment of, say, journalists in Ukraine for questioning government policies is not even mentioned by our State Department, let alone protested.

The anti-Russian hysteria sweeping Washington doesn’t discriminate as to party: while Hillary Clinton has been vocal about the alleged Russian “threat,” and hasn’t backed down from her “no fly zone” advocacy since the Russian intervention, GOP presidential hopeful Marco Rubio has done her one better by openly coming out for shooting down Russian planes in Syrian skies. Falsely claiming that the US isn’t modernizing its nuclear arsenal, Rubio wants to install more ABM sites throughout eastern Europe, and says Ukraine should be allowed to join NATO – setting the stage for a full-on showdown with the Russians. Rubio’s “vision for Europe” would send us back to the 1950s, when the specter of all-out war between the superpowers haunted the headlines.

This retrograde vision is shared by most of Rubio’s Republican rivals, with the exception of Sen. Rand Paul – who is far behind in most polls. With Mrs. Clinton waxing hawkish when it comes to Putin’s Russia, and even Bernie Sanders echoing cold war propaganda – he supports US aid, including military aid, to Ukraine, and “freezing Russian assets all over the world” –   the political atmosphere here in the US does not bode well for Russo-American relations.

With the general collapse of the post-cold war arms agreements with Moscow, and escalating tensions with the Kremlin in eastern Europe and the Middle East, the danger of a military confrontation between the US and  Russia is as great as it has ever been. This represents a shift by the Washington elite away from their seemingly eternal “war on terrorism” to a Russia-centric policy targeting Putinism rather than Islamism as the main danger to US interests.

What is needed is a grassroots movement to counter the hysterical cold war propaganda being beamed at us by the “mainstream” media. We’ve been warning against the dangers posed by a new cold war with Russia for years, and the latest developments simply underscore how right we were.

While grassroots campaigns can't hope to match the Washington think-tanks monetarily, it does have one huge advantage, and that is the natural unwillingness of the American people to be drawn into another cold war. Popular support for arming Ukraine and provoking the Russians is very low, and no one wants a nuclear showdown with the Kremlin. Significantly, the less Americans know about Ukraine the more they support US intervention – which just underlines how important our educational campaign is

The demonization of Putin has been relatively successful, but the reality is that Russia has come a long way since the days of Stalin, and the willingness of the American people to engage in another international crusade against the Kremlin is highly problematic, at best. We have enough problems here at home that need addressing.

What is desperately needed is a revived grassroots movement to reduce our nuclear weapons arsenal and rebuild the arms agreements with Russia that have been gathering dust in the wake of the new cold war. Do we really want another version of the Cuban missile crisis?

I was struck by what one participant in the recent “Realism and Restraint” conference, co-sponsored by The American Conservative, the Charles Koch Institute, and the Georgetown University political science department, had to say at the outset of the event. In the first panel, Kori Schake, a research associate at the Hoover Institution who thinks US foreign policy must necessitate the recreation of the British Empire, raised a question that was meant as a litmus test of the other panel members’ views. What, she wanted to know, “should we do about Russia?”

That we need to “do something” about Russia is in itself an assumption that hardly anyone in the foreign policy community “mainstream” questions. Undergoing economic convulsions and suffering from a rapidly falling birth rate, Russia is in no position to challenge the policy of US “primacy” so lovingly advanced by Schake and her fellow neocons. The reality, however, is that the policy of global hegemony pursued by our foreign policy elites requires the subjugation of Russia – which is, after all, a nuclear power. And that represents a dire threat to the peace of the world.

The Russian question is, today, the main issue before us – and how we answer it will make the difference between war and peace.

The War Party never rests: their cold war propaganda campaign is off and running.

The West wasn't invited into Syria, we are there illegally.

The rest of the world recognises this. Including China, India, etc. These places are no longer famine stricken scrubbers in mud huts, they are multi trillion dollar economies with space programs. They already consume more oil and steel than we do.

The current Bretton Woods world order is in terminal decline, mainly because we have abused our position so arrogantly. Only a matter of time until the current world institutions are replaced by Asian ones such as AIB and their alternative to SWIFT.

The current Bretton Woods world order has shifted to a new world order.  China and India have a tiny middle class, and they are indeed becoming the new normal.   The American sheeple allowed the banksters to sell them down the river for cheap shit at Walmart and customer service representatives named "Jeff" who don't know what the hell you're talking about when you tell them which state you are calling from.   And meanwhile, the increase in wealth of the top .01% is well documented.  None of this is by accident.

Except that's factually incorrect.

http://www.reuters.com/middle-class-infographic

In 1965 a full 25% of the global middle class lived in USA

By 2015 it was down to 11%

By 2030 it will be down to 4%

The Sino-Indian middle class is exploding. Today 24% of the global middle class lives in India and China.

By 2030 it will be 50%.

Don't believe me? Check out how much oil and steel China and India consume compared to USA.

China already consumes 25% more electricity than USA.

Obama and Putin were walking around out in the country, discussing politics and enjoying the scenery and mild fall weather. On the trail, they came across a herd of sheep.

When they approached, the sheep tried to get away, but one had gotten its head caught in the fence next to the trail and became stuck.

Putin smiled, walked behind the sheep and dropped his drawers and had his way with it. When Putin was done, he turned to Obama and said, "Go ahead it's your turn".

Obama eagerly walked over and stuck his head in the fence.

First, many of these statistics are projections.

Second, tell me -- what is the average income in dollars of the typical middle class in India and China?

China and India each have approximately 4-5 times the total population as the United States.  They are barely ahead in energy consumption.  What does that tell you statistically?

Well 3 years ago it looked like this...

https://familyinequality.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/lorenza2.jpg

So if you are in the bottom 40th percentile in the USA then 10% of China is richer than you (about 130 million Chinese people).

In China the averages are low, but because the population is so huge the top of the pyramid quickly adds up to lots and lots of people.

Same applies to India, the 90th percentile of India is richer than the 20th percentile of the USA.

So 1 in 5 Americans are poorer than at least 140 million Indians.

So back in 2012 there were 130 million Chinese people earning over $35,000 and 400 million people between India and China earning over $16,000.

Well there aren't even 400 million people in the USA earning over $16,000. (There aren't 400 million people in USA, period.)

In the 1960's and for many decades beyond Detroit sent out many a rolling junk pile. The Japanese brought in cheap high quality cars and people gravitated toward them and stayed loyal rather than having a mechanic on speed dial. I have always owned American cars and some of those Detroit junkers ended up in my driveway. Around the same time American TV's and electronics were even crappier than the cars. The Japanese showed up with quality electronics so we bought eliminating those pesky trips to the repair shop. Rather than try to compete the Americans gave the markets to the Japanese and Koreans and closed their factories. When the US developed new electronics like the VCR they bypassed the US and had them made overseas. Textiles started moving overseas, especially to Central and South America where US influence and CIA backed coups kept the people barefoot and poor and willing to work for slave wages, long before Walmart was a player. By the 1980's most of the US steel manufacturing was gone thanks to decades of dumping and bad management. The US is currently #4 in steel production but most of that is from upstart companies like Nucor, the current largest US steelmaker, making steel from scrap. IBM who had and probably still has the smartest people on the planet on the payroll couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag eventually sold businesses, or ran them into the ground, like PC's and hard drives to foreign corporations which moved them offshore. When the US essentially threw in the towel on electronics decades ago the industry flourished overseas so when new products some of which were cell phones, smart phones, and MP3 players debuted the manufacturing went overseas. Then we have the US and state governments enacting so many regulations CEO's didn't want the hassle and sent the jobs overseas. Plus many CEO's were lazy and greedy so even if they could compete they sent the jobs overseas because it was easier and gave them more time to spend their overly large bonuses and salary. Plus it justified plenty of travel, if not a corporate plane or 12 with the company picking up the tab even for personal use, and large overpaid fawning staffs encased in gleeming expensively appointed offices. In the last few years manufacturing jobs were flooding back to the US but Obama has ruined that by being the most regulation happy administration ever. NAFTA needs no explanation and the TPP will probably be a disaster for US workers too. We could go on all night with this stuff. It was the 1%, greedy lazy CEO's, and government regulations and trade agreements that sent most jobs overseas. So quit blaming those on the bottom rungs for buying "cheap Chinese shit" at Walmart for the state of manufacturing in this country.

Yes, but Syria should also, and immediately, ban overflights of commercial aircraft (other than those landing or departing Syria). For their own safety, for a publicly stated reason that another nation has armed ISIS and Al-Qaeda with missiles intending to shoot down commercial airliners. Irrespective of whether false flag or not.

Ha. Hitlery and the people she answers to are going to get us all killed in about 2 years.

She is crafty when it comes to theft-- many criminals are, but she is not very intelligent, nor does she have any real executive experience.

Nope. She will follow her handlers and we will have a nuclear winter. Don't know if I'd even want to try and survive it at my age.

Just wait. When the conventions happen next summer, Trump will get dumped, Shrub will get the (R) nomination and win about 5 states versus Hitlery. About 35% of the entire electorate will vote, Shrub will get 5% of that, leaving Hitlery a minority president with the votes of only 30% of the people. Nevertheless, she will go Full Soviet, claiming a mandate, and immediately begin making preparations for War.

If anyone thought Bath House was into Alinsky and "Communism", just wait for Hitlery Klingon. She'll make Bath House look like a Libertarian.

My favorite part was the CFR stooge talking about how Russia couldn't match our nuclear arsenal, as if that's significant. So they can only kill our entire country 5 times over, while we can destroy theirs 10 times over. That's the scariest thing these people say - they seem to think that nuclear war is somehow "winnable" by anyone. Even of our shit weapon systems we pay way to much for work as advertised and not one single Russia warhead hits the US in a nuclear exchange and we fry their entire country with ours, the entire planet will suffer and die with that much fallout being thrown up into the atmosphere.

I know they built all these bunkers so the very people who cause the war will be the only ones to survive it, but do they REALLY want to love the rest of their miserable lives underground? It would take generations before much of the world was habitable again.

All of this is merely "wars and rumors of wars". The way of the Kings of the East is not yet made open- the four angels who hold back the winds of strife still have the order "Hold!" There are some servants of God who have yet to make a decision, and thus be sealed in their foreheads, ready to give the last message of the soon returning Christ to humanity.

But there is not much time. Here is the sign to watch for- the Abomination of Desolation, that shall stand in the holy place. When it does (let the reader understand) there shall be a time of trouble such as has never been since there was a nation even until now.

What is this sign, the Abomination of Desolation? It is the overtaking of the Temple Mount by the Jews. They must do it- they have set themselves on a collision course with history. They could not stop themselves from taking it, even if they wanted to.

By rejecting their Messiah, the Jews reaped all the curses of Moses, written in Deuteronomy. They fomented two world wars to claim Palestine, but even then, a line was drawn by God around their homeland and the command went out- "Thou shalt not return!" A command went out from God -"Thou shalt no return!"  and the Jews go up to the foundation of the Mount, and beat their heads against it in frustration.

For Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled. Even as the Jews were imited a time of probation, even so have the gentiles a time of probation. When that time is over, then shall the Jews retake their city and the Mount, but they shall fall, and none shall help them.

Then shall the four angels be released, and then shall Michael, that great prince, stand up, and then shall there be a time of trouble such as never was, even until now.

Some who read this will repent, and some will mock, but all who read shall have been given the message. Time is short, and there is a God, who shall bring every secret thing into judgement, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Yup Yahweh actually meets the clinical definition of a psychopath. Just tell a cop that you were taking your son to be sacrificed for God when you get stopped and see where they take you.

The Israelite state was NOT even Jewish it had the Caananite God El as it's highest God along with Baal, Asherah, etc. Remember that Samaria was the capital of Israel and Jerusalem was the capital of Judea hensc the parable of the "Good Samaritan" not the "Good Jew".

Yahweh was the God of Judea who came from a place in northern Saudi Arabia and wasn't even the FIRST God of Jerusalem.

"Thou shalt have NO other Gods before me" doesn't even sound remotely monotheistic to me.

It's all bullshit to steal your mind from you... but yes those who practice these religions are usually very nice people.

Dear Mr. President Putin,
Please accept our apologies on behalf of a great many people here in the Netherlands for our Government and our Media. The facts concerning MH17 are twisted to defame you and your country.

We are powerless onlookers, as we witness how the Western Nations, led by the United States, accuse Russia of crimes they commit themselves more than anybody else. We reject the double standards that are used for Russia and the West. In our societies, sufficient evidence is required for a conviction. The way you and your Nation are convicted for ‘crimes’ without evidence, is ruthless and despicable.
You have saved us from a conflict in Syria that could have escalated into a World War. The mass killing of innocent Syrian civilians through gassing by ‘Al-Qaeda’ terrorists, trained and armed by the US and paid for by Saudi Arabia, was blamed on Assad. In doing so, the West hoped public opinion would turn against Assad, paving the way for an attack on Syria.

The CIA owns the entire Western media,  And it shows.

The demonization of Putin by the free and fair press of the West continues unabated:

Since the beginning of the week, the three most influential mass circulation newsmagazines of the United States, Britain, and Germany—Time, The Economist, and Der Spiegel—have published cover stories that combine wild accusations against Vladimir Putin with demands for a showdown with Russia.

The most striking and obvious characteristic of these cover stories is that they are virtually identical. The CIA has scripted them all. The stories employ the same insults and the same fabrications. They denounce Putin’s “web of lies.” The Russian president is portrayed as a “depraved” mass murderer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg6H0h0yWHI

Plus you have the usual CFR (Globalist Bankerati) suspects writing about the winnability of a nuclear war with Russia if we only strike first.

Any way you look at it... whether you believe Putin is part of the scam or not (he is)... the Globalists need a giant smokescreen to distract the muttonheads when the final curtains fall on the planets Central Bankers and their hostage economies. The only thing they are concerned about is getting the sheep lined up and bleating loudly for their One World Government and One World Currency.

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/01/21/trolling-russia/

Many of the American 'globalists' are primarily loyal to Israel. Others want a unipolar world led by the American Empire.

Putin is not a saint nor the Messiah but he is a Russian nationalist whether or not he's in any sense an Orthodox Christian.

You are welcome to assign him as part of a sinister and unitary globalist plot, and it is surely healthy to remain skeptical, but there is little evidence to suggest this is the case. Indeed one might also speculate that those advocating it are really taking a novel approach to the demonization - what is better than a theory, a negative, that cant ever be disproven to the satisfaction of those who posit, without good evidence, that some cognizable and unified conspiracy of elites is merely play-acting the whole thing?

Why, why not chalk it all up to lizard people, or freemasons, or Jesuits?

All that which is possible is not consequently probable.

We surely seem to have a US government committed to surrounding and attacking Russia, and a 'deep state' committed to using terror proxies to destroy and Balkanize Israel's neighbors.

http://www.mintpressnews.com/isis-israel-iraq-and-syria-its-all-part-of-...

All fiat, fractionally reserve created debt-money systems must eventually perish as feasible tokens of exchange. And it seems unlikely that any such currency can remain the global reserve currency forever. Arguably Iraq and Libya, both also on Zionist hit lists for decades, were also largely about the petrodollar.

So who owns the shares in the Fed bank? We are not allowed to find out for sure, but it is likely largely, even primarily European banking families - mostly, as it happens, Jewish.

The dollar and American military and political power have been absolutely vital for these owners, and for Israel.

http://www.ahavat-israel.com/eretz/future

Russia's central bank is privately owned, but under significant state control. Its vast natural resources are largely, due to Putin, under Russian control.

The punchline is that there are lots of power centers and lots of motives. And while the moneylenders are surely behind a lot of wars, wars have been fought for millenia over resources, over nationalism, and over religious myth.

The 'globalism' that Vichy Washington seeks to impose is that of Anglo-Zionist hegemony.

And Russians, and Chinese, and hundreds of millions of others can be counted on to oppose it. Because it is not simply about power and wealth.

It is also about protecting hearth and home from those who seek only to destroy it for profit, and/or for their own national, racial and/or religious hegemony.

And right now, it is Global Zionism seeking to use a decaying American Empire to dominate this planet.

If Putin is 'in on it ' - he has had a very funny way of showing it.

Cut the sarcasm... I am not as dumb as I look usually.

I am well aware of the argument that Putin is a nationalist... believed it myself for years but it just doesn't add up with what we are seeing.

First of all Putin lived in an aptartment with rats, brother died in Stalingrad, was an atheist but allegedly started believing in god after his wife survived a car accident and after escaping his burning house. His mother gave him the cross which he took to Israel and always wears it blah blah blah.... I know his life... everything that is publicly available. Even bought a former German language school teacher an apartment in Tel Aiv...  Nice guy! I've read hours of his bios believe me.

Grandfather Putin (last name uncertain origin) was cook for Lenin and later Stalin... a trusted position usually held by Khazars who composed 85% of of the Bolshevik revolution (financed by Schiff at Kuhn Leob).

Researching Alexander Yakovlev (architect of peristroika glastnost advisor to Gorbachev propaganda head etc etc) who was identified as an American CIA asset and a good friend of one Henry Kissinger back from his days at Columbia University (1950's) up to the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Same kind of relationship with Kissinger preceeding Putins rise originating in the early 90's.

Not likely a coincidence.

Let's cut to the chase...

Either the Globalists want a New World Order or they don't and they have at the very least to get the citizens of these nations not opposed to it. Leauge of Nations at the end of WWII failed. UN after WWII same. Both organizations founded by the same banking dynasties BTW

China Russia and the USA are all very nationalistic nations... to have them be willing to cede their sovereignty to this NWO (of either stripe) requires certain conditions to prevail.

Nuclear war during economic collapse will do it.

If you are seriously interested in researching this angle let me know and I will provide you with what you will require... but YES both Putin  and Jinping are in on it.

Libya was such a small player in the oil market he could have asked for payment in manure and no one would have cared. The biggest reason to attack Libya was to get Qaddafi's huge caches of arms to start and supply the war in Syria. With all the clowns hung up on minor league stuff like standing down or if the attack was or wasn't caused by a video the most important questions of the Benghazi affair are never asked. Like who was Ambassador Stevens meeting with before the attack and why was he there at all instead of in the secure embassy in Tripoli. Why at the time he was ragging on State about more security personnel did he refuse a military security team? For many weeks before the incident diplomats in Benghazi were targeted for kidnapping or killing, with many countries closing their missions and moving personnel out, so it was no surprise that joke of a consulate was attacked. At the time of the attack Benghazi was the most dangerous city on the planet yet the CIA had close to 40 people working at the annex. What were they up to besides trafficing arms and Al Qaeda fighters to Syria with Stevens help? Qaddafi had great influence all over Africa by spending money on development in other African countries cutting out the World Bank and IMF with their draconian terms that destroyed so many countries economies allowing westerners to scoop up local assets for cheap. Syria and Egypt were desperate and got a loan from the IMF that required the usual drop all subsidies for food and fuel and sell off government industries for cheap, all of which lead to unrest. He headed up Africa for Africans that blunted US influence and delayed until after his death the entrance of AFRICOM into Africa. When Africa needed a communications satellite Qaddafi put up $300 of the $400 million to make it so costing Europe $500 million a year they were charging for the use of theirs. With his Libyan development fund he was undercutting the World Bank and the IMF. Libya had no debt, piles of gold, and banks full of cash so were beholden to no one. There was plenty more stuff, look it up, but you get the picture. Qaddafi was nowhere near as bad as the propaganda, the US used him for a whipping boy since the Reagan years, and did many great things for his people, like the man made river, and Africa.

I've asked many times.... Why does one even need a missile? Russia could covertly plant nuclear bombs across the US in every single city. They might even be there already. They can be detonated remotely. This is not 1950. Missiles are not needed to destroy cities the bombs can be brought over in by freight or through Mexico in pieces. You might have a nuclear bomb in your city, in the apartment right next to you, and not even know it. One military "practice this or that" gone wrong and it's over. One button and every single US city goes up in a mushroom cloud (possibly the same with Russia they could be wiped out like a shit stain). But all it takes is...

Multicultralism. Love it.

The issue always was MADD, so delivery methods were less important than simply deterring anyone from being willing to launch an attack that would be reciprocated. A hidden nuke is not about outright war but terrorism. Eliminating the ability to track and retaliate. Its all possible and impossible to prevent, but terrorism is much more probable than missiles, and we will never know for sure who did it. We had 9-11with Muslims claiming responsibility, yet millions believe they didn't do it.

Putin and the Russians will not do that.  They have acted a lot more honorably in the past and they take nuclear weapons and bombing serious.  There was a good article on a web site talking about how Russia mainly just defends their own country and interests.

The old zio-Bolshevik USSR and Russia today are not the same country.  Putin and Russians have said they do not need any more land or resources.

Putin saw what happened to Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, Oetessia (sp?), and Syria plus the endless sanctions against Iran and said enough.   The Bear has been poked enough and is sick of it.

It involves an absurd theoretical premise that somehow you're gonna know that this infant is destined to become one of history's most notorious monsters -- and then you're gonna murder this infant.

It's like teenage slumber party rhetoric.  WTF

....anyone here actually listen to any or Putin’s speeches he's made in the last 18 months?

He sounds sane.  He is being reactive to the hostilities aimed at him.  We won't even get into "ISIS".

When I listen to Putin, he sounds sane and logical, he openly admits Russia has commercial and strategic interests and openly points out that they'll protect them.

When I listen to almost any western leader, but especially American and British, I get an immediate sense of Cognitive Dissonance. It's like they are living on a different planet with entirely different meanings to basic language, and that's simply down to "The Lie". They can't and won't admit to the truth behind their reasoning. They can't admit that they'll send their country's citizens sons and daughters to slaughter to acquire and protect profits of those in their "Old Boy Network".

Putin is a statesman. All we have are politicians and bean counters.

The trumped-up scandal about sports doping is what amazes me---and I thought nothing about official Russophobia could surprise me any more.

Back when the Soviet Union was still the darling of the banksters, nobody in a position to do anything about cheating by athletes from the "democratic" nations gave a rat's ass no matter how obvious it became.

Now that Russia has started insisting on its freedom even her athletes are being openly slandered.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/10/sports/russian-athletes-part-of-state-...

The report also recommended that the World Anti-Doping Agency impose lifetime bans on five Russian coaches and five athletes, including the gold and bronze medalists in the women’s 800 meters at the 2012 London Olympics.

“The Olympic Games in London were, in a sense, sabotaged by the admission of athletes who should have not been competing,” the report read.

Why? Because they made Putin look good?

well lets see. Putin's country was broken into pieces by a combination of an arms race and imperialism. The Russian people endured a decade of hardships just to get back on their feet. Like the British hey seemed to have been willing to realize the Soviet mistakes of Imperialism and formed a Russian Federation of the Pieces. They were trying to be more European, expanding trade with Europe and use and abide by International rules and Law. What did we do? Well lets review.

withdrew from the ballistic missile treaty

expanded NATO 1000 miles east to his border in direct violation of the Warsaw Pact

Placed Patriot missle batteries on these new boarders pointing at them and then saying don't worry we will be flexible later

started a war on his souther border in Afghanistan for 14 years and now the place is a chaotic mess of crazies he will have to deal with.

Started a couple of jihad type wars on his border in Chechna and Georgia that he had to put down. And he gave both countries independence back.

The Chechen ordeal ended up in a terrorist incident of 875 hostages right in his capital that he has to kill a few of his own people to save the rest from the terrorist.

next you tried to freeze Russian bank accounts and threatened to Lock them out of the swift system and did steal 42 billion in Russian business accounts in Cyprus

We the started a coup on his Western border and he just managed to save the Russian people in Crimea from this disaster that is still ongoing in Ukraine.

Next the Donesk region voted to join Russia and we started a proxy war again on his border that he is still ongoing.

Blaming all this on him you slap several rounds of economic sanctions on them and basically put out wanted posters on half of the Russian political class

Then you turn overthrow Libya in to a total chaos and move directly on to his old allies In Iran making them end of the world threats

Then start creating, arming and funding multiple terrorists to get rid of his other old allies in Syria and attempt another overthrow with ISIS anotther bunch of crazies that have expanded from Tunisia to Afghanistan and own country size pieces ol land in multiple countries and have 4000 old Chenchen and other terrorist that he does not want to come back home.

next you start moving new nuclear bombs to Germany and build up by several times, troops, tanks and planes on his border with east Nato counties

Now you get your Saudi buds to start an oil war and attack them economically and cut the value of their Ruble in half

And all this whole time has been an endless stream of propaganda and lies and blaming THEM for this.

Now someone is trying to tell the Russian people that they are not even safe to go anywhere in the world or on vacation without getting blown out of the sky.

GEE YOU THINK THEY ARE GETTING PISSED YET?

Now, to learn a little about Putin we will go back to The Moscow Theater incident that most peoples news service decided to skip.

During the Chechen War the Chechen terrorists seized a Theater in Moscow with 875 hostages inside, They were well armed and rigged the whole place with explosives and demanded that he immediately end the Chechen war and they threatened to kill all the hostages if their demands were not met. He listened to his military advisors and weighted the list of options for 72 hours. Then the terrorist shot/executed publicly a 30year old male and two women to speed up the demands. This is when he finally said enough, He finally got pissed because he is for his people. He gave the order for his special forces to move in 2 hours later. He gave the order to make sure kill every last one of the terrorist to the man and do not let even one escape. The Spetznatz moved in injected gas into the theater rendering everyone unconcious. All the unconcious terrorist got a bullet between the eyes and the troops hauled the people out and got most of them to the hospital and revived although a few died, he managed to save almost all of them. None of the terrorist escaped every last one of them was executed to the man.

So now you starting to figure out what he really hates? Terror. He was ex KGB which contrary to most is also a security service. Its alway been his job to keep order. Now do you see why the US and the British are panicking wanting this to be an ISIS bomb so badly? They have a personality  profile on him, they know he is pissed and are sweating. They know someone just stepped on his toes;

Some associated have leaked that since this plane incident he has been in a quiet sort of rage. And when he knows for sure, and he will be it Israeli AA missile British involvement or ISIS. They are going to see the full wrath of the Bear. If its ISIS I would not doubt that like the theater terrorist, he gives the order to exterminate every last one of them and start carpet bombing them.

I think the Russian people realize they will never be free to even so much as go on a vacation and enjoy their lives without a fight. They are MAD, ALMOST TO A MAN. I hope you are because they know who they are mad at, they are under no illusions at this point. And The Chinese will never allow you to completely strip off the balance of power they represent and be left alone. And your answer is to launch a nucear misllise test as some kind of theat? Why? because deep inside your scared of what you have done?

Washington? Hello? ANYBODY LEFT WITH A BRAIN? ANYONE?

They WILL fall. Just a question of where and when. I can't believe this is happening in my lifetime and it's not a movie. ALL of the humans on this planet need to become preppers NOW and save what life they can from the nuclear winter. The Dystopian age of mankind approaches. We have allowed ourselves to be led into an actual apocalypse. A day is approaching when modernity ends. When the age of machines and even agriculture reverts to it's early roots. It seems it'll be sooner than later. And so as we are flung into the age of Dystopia the few remaining humans can do this all over again. Maybe they'll have a different outcome. Maybe not.

Everybody get a grip.

Russia has no intention of fighting a conventional war with the Pentagon and its European thralls.

Whether their weapons are more efficient than the West"s and their men more disciplined and motivated, the bottom line is Russia's population is only a quarter of the combined US/EU.

Putin knows that there is no winner of either a conventional or nuclear war. But that a nuclear war is final and that a conventional war only means staring up all over again when it's over.

So Putin says "BASTA".  Enough of the self-righteous slavery Washington has inflicted on the world.

No more of the bullshit that every American has had a daily dose of since the assassination of Kennedy, when the War Party took control of America.

Very few of the ranking officers in the US military want to experience a preemptive nuclear strike on the Homeland, but they owe their promotions to their anti-Soviet/Russian feelings so they can't afford to worry about their children, their parents, their spouses, and their dogs.

They are soldier-bound to support the clique advocating crossing a red line that Russia warned the Joint Chiefs not to cross.

So our fate is in the hands of the psychos in our military  --  as if you didn't know  --  and the outcome is either no conventional war, which is a Russian victory, or a nuclear war, which is also a Russian victory.

Soon the American Eichmanns and Bormanns will be Africa bound, with photoshopped pictures of them with Obama, drifting on that same river Kurtz did when he traveled  to the Heart of Darkness.

But it will be nothing compared to the river to the real Heart Of Darkness, as it flows beneath the George Washington Bridge.

Good luck with NATO fighting Russia, because you need to do that without troops from Germany.

The population there is changing and will be unrecognisable in 1 or 2 years. The ethnic Germans won't fight, because they come from small families - in one-son families no reason is good enough for war. The other population on German territory is extremely mixed and will be mixed more beyond recognition.

"Why would I fight against Russia", they will ask in their various languages. "I came to Germany to build my life not to engage in a war that I don't understand what it's about. And those parts that I understand do not worry me? Why should I go into battle, for what exactly, what are you trying to achieve?"

America has not had war in their street so they don't have a grasp what it means and they are easily pulling the trigger. In Germany, every school kid, native or immigrant, can look at the suburb they live in, and at the photographs of 1945.

The population from the German territory won't be in it. I saw a hypothetical/kind of docu once that predicted a war between America and Russia, but the Germans did not fight on the side of America.

40% Bundeswehr is from the former GDR. The German Army is very small. The Defence Minister de Maziere was shifted against his will by Merkel to put her favourite van der Leyen in place with her female Permanent Secretary. Van der Leyen just decided it was NOt the job of the German Army to secure the country's borders !!!!!!!!!

It is hard to understand how Peter Struck as Defence Minister said the Bundeswehr would go to Afghanistan to protect Germany "on the Hindukush" yet Germany is being flooded with Afghans !!!!!!

It seems that the Bundeswehr is simply America's "Hessian Mercenaries" rather than a proper Army like the Wehrmacht
