Why Are Stocks Tumbling? The Mainstream Media Explains
Why are stocks tumbling (as in a little more than 2% below their all time high)? We decided to get the mainstream media's take.
Here is the answer:
The article says:
The increased prospect that six years of near-zero borrowing costs in the U.S. may end next month rippled through global markets, as companies hurt most by the strengthening dollar led a selloff in American equities and bonds fell with emerging-market assets.... Global investors continue to adjust to the increased likelihood that America’s benchmark rate will rise this year, a move that would end an unprecedented era of record-low borrowing costs.
In other words, stocks are falling due to fear of a December rate hike.
Great, just one problem.
Here is what the same mainstream media said just 10 days ago, on October 28:
This article said the following:
U.S. stocks ended sharply higher on Wednesday after a volatile session as the Federal Reserve gave a vote of confidence in the U.S. economy by signaling a December interest rate hike was still on the table.
Shorter version: stocks soared due to hope of a December rate cut.
So ten days ago, a December rate hike is why "stocks ended sharply higher", while today a December rate hike is the reason why "stock tumbles in global selloff."
And now you know.

They are attacking Gold and Silver today. Their ability to fight a two front war is deminished.
How quaint to expect any actual journalism.
They print what they are instructed to print and the narrative changes over time to fit the "Everything is awesome" big picture.
IOW, they are still trying to figure out WTF is happening.
Can't find a solution without knowing the cause. Won't know the cause without observation, and experimentation.
Because there is no technology that allows control of open, evolving, complex systems?

Because our system has degenerated into the standard ruling class insulated from reality, all interests locked into a FUBARed system so that reform is not possible and thus collapse inevitable?

Because predictions of futures so rarely work, and so civilization has a very high rate of failure ?

MSM, is flaky. Just like Bernanke kept saying subprime housing was contained.
Bernanke escaped out of the Federal Reserve for good reason. He realizes what's coming.
Lamppost?
I love lamp?
Earlier one was propaganda, 2nd one is the truth.
Hedging.
We live in Gumbyland where anything can be anything, man/woman Good/bad up/down black/white
Look at this 'Glacier" at the Simon Property Group Mall in Charlotte, NC. It's supposed to be a Christmas display where Santa sits. Folks are up in arms because there is no Christmas Tree.

(the rest is equally split between blue lasers and red lasers)
Damn! You beat me to it!
Manipulated markets never make sense - so media uses same story to explain everything
Martin Armstrong is looking for blast off to the upside. He thinks that even 40,000 on DOW is possible.
Yeah and that $20 for a loaf of bread will be awesome!
The Fed will never raise rates.
interesting.
I think that spells disaster, of a more chaotic sort that if they did actually rise rates. unless they go NRIP. if they don't raise they must go NRIP during or prior to 2017, right? thing is debt is going ever more exponential, by the month. I don't think NRIP would be viable for more than a couple years. what'll they pull out then? all-out war?
fuck.
Bah....just a typical break by the end of the week 18k most likely.
From your ever-loving Propaganda Press!
Schizophrenic algos...whoda thunk that they would need a shrink, couch and downers.
All liars have a hard time keeping their story straight.
Zion's propaganda is no different.
They are attacking Gold and Silver today. Their ability to fight a two front war is deminished.
So does that mean that Janet "the fucking cunt whore witch" Yellen will now do more QE and NIRP?
Bless me father...but I'm so confused...
Many people would consider being flat on the year a success.
Trying to look for logic in the stock market....
Wondering why this story gets no love?????

Janet Felons latest crime spree!!!!!!
Sorry about that Sorry about, hope someone notices.
It's deja vu all over again....
In August they were talking convincingly about hiking, so the markets had a big pullback tantrum and it spooked the Fed into not hiking.
Rinse and repeat: The Fed is again sounding like this time they're really going to do it, so another pullback should convince them not to.
After months of losing my ass trading options Ive finally found the perfect strategy...which ever way I believe the stock is going to go, I just bet the opposite. Works every time.
Buy high, sell low, make it up in volume!
Yep, your conclusion should include every possible contingency. And Yep again, You Too can be a TeeVee financial "analyst".
It's a rigged stupid shell game.
There is a legitimate array of financial management services, but at the epicenter of this monster is a clique of con men who are usurers par excellence. The big money is made by means of the (fiat) money monopoly and insider information/deals. That's the reality of it.
Unfortunately, most of us goyim buy into the delusion that 'we too can be rich' if we 'just follow this or that guy's SECRET program.'

$43.30 serves as an important level to create a new bullish momentum. The RSI and other indicators are all lining up nicely for when the support at $43.30 holds.

"Fed Lifeline to End"...Think about it, do you think these CRIMINALS, have done all this damage to give up now?
I'm just curious to see what happens to the CRIMINALS, when natural forces take over. Then and only then, CRIMINALS, will realize it's a small world after all.
"So ten days ago, a December rate hike is why "stocks ended sharply higher", while today a December rate hike is the reason why "stock tumbles in global selloff.""
Oh bro! I've seen so many examples of this journalistic schizophrenia in my years following the markets. It's not even funny. You see XYZ stock getting hammered one day because, "XYZ announced big job cuts today." Then 6 years later, the same stock rockets higher on the very same news. When I saw enough of that crap, I realized that markets are fundamentally irrational. There is no logic driving them. The journalists are hired to invent a plausible narrative to explain it. In the end, it's all a big joke.
"On Wall Street today, news of lower interest rates sent the stock market up, but then the expectation that these rates would be inflationary sent the market down, until the realization that lower rates might stimulate the sluggish economy pushed the market up, before it ultimately went down on fears that an overheated economy would lead to a reimposition of higher interest rates."
And last time it was China's fault. MSM can't make up their minds.
