France's Far-Right Party Calls For Nation To "Re-Arm Itself", Revoke Muslims' Passports, "Eradicate" Radical Islam

Tyler Durden's picture

If there is one 'winner' from last night's terrible events in Paris, it is France's anti-EU, anti-immigration far-right wing Front Nationale party leader Marine Le Pen. Having already ascended to the lead in yet another poll ahead of France's 2017 elections, Le Pen came out swinging this morning call for France to "re-arm itself," stating that radical Islam must be "eradicated" from France. She further demanded that border controls be made "permanent" and binational Islamists must be depreived of their French passport.

As Bloomberg notes:

  • *FAR RIGHT PARTY LEADER MARINE LE PEN COMMENTS IN TV SPEECH
  • *LE PEN SAYS FRANCE NEEDS TO CONTROL ITS BORDERS PERMANENTLY
  • *LE PEN CALLS FOR PERMANENT BORDER CONTROLS
  • *LE PEN CALLS FOR 'ERADICATION' OF RADICAL ISLAMISM IN FRANCE
  • *LE PEN: FRANCE IS 'VULNERABLE', 'MUST RE-ARM ITSELF'
  • *LE PEN: FRENCH PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER SAFE
  • *LE PEN: BI-NATIONAL ISLAMISTS MUST DEPRIVED OF FRENCH PASSEPORT

Which is all fine if this was some extreme and unpopular party, but in fact...

Marine Le Pen Tops Another French Presidency Poll

The Front National party in France are moving one step closer to seriously challenging for the country’s presidency. A new opinion poll reveals that their leader, nationalist firebrand Marine Le Pen, has topped yet another poll ahead of the elections in 2017.

The IFOP poll in conjunction with Sud Radio and Lyon Capitale gives Ms. Le Pen a lead under three different scenarios, reflecting the panic setting into the French political establishment which is considering a ‘grand coalition’ of centre-left and centre-right parties to keep the Front National out.

According to IFOP, if centrist politician Francois Bayrou and centre-right Nicolas Sarkozy ran, Ms. Le Pen would top the first choice in the multi-round election with 28 per cent of the votes. In second, the Republican Party’s Sarkozy (23), and in third, current president, socialist Francois Hollande (21).

As John Rubino noted previously, there are two reasons for the rise of National Front and other anti-euro parties:

1) The adoption of a common currency hasn’t delivered the broad-based prosperity that was promised. Instead, Germany has entered a golden age of soaring exports, massive trade surpluses and balanced budgets while most other eurozone countries have been unable to function with a currency they can’t devalue at will.

2) The European Union’s decision to counter falling birthrates with rising immigration from Africa and the Middle East has, in the opinion of a growing number of Europeans, produced a two-tiered society in which a shrinking layer of liberal, pacifist, aging “natives” sits atop a growing, restless layer of newcomers who instead of assimilating are trying to impose their culture on traditional Europe.

And then came the Paris attacks. The perps are Middle Eastern though it’s not clear what group they’re affiliated with. But no one seems to care whether it’s ISIS or al-Qaeda. Their ancestry is all that will matter in the next election, and any politician with an anti-euro, anti-immigrant platform will find a suddenly very receptive audience.

"Which is all fine if this was some extreme and unpopular party, but in fact..."

Who is writing this? Front Nationale has been the only rational party from the start.

FUCK the evil agenda the elite have. They caused this. The blood is on their hands.

Bring out the Guillotines.

A revolution is nessisary to preserve the existence of our people, our freedoms.

Something both our ruling elites, the pope, islam, and the third world masses want to take way.

I fail to see how a revolution solves the problems.

Passing laws allowing surveillance on a massive scale might.

Sadly, what they don't understand is that there is no such thing as Radical Islam. There is only Islam. So, the answer to the problem is if you see a muslim just kill it.

I agree. Those who are not terrorists are the ones actually diverting from the writings, which have only one interpretation.

I think all religions are cults but if we could label this one a cult first it would be a nice start.

We have had scuffles.

Never an actual war since wwii.

It only takes a few nations to decide the Middle East has had it and go in there, claim the territories and start the process of integration.

If several nations decide to actually go to war, the conflict would be over in just a few years.

I believe it's time to declare a war against several countries and obtain unconditional surrenders from them, and integrate them.

One of the more annoying memes that has come out of the Anglophile Churchillian dogma that has infested the US "right" is this notion that the French are cowards.  This stems from their failure on World War II to uphold British interests on the Continent and elsewhere by being defeated by Germany.  But why did that happen?

If you look at how the French upper class treated the common French soldier in WW I, it becomes understandable.  The machine gun and artillery blasted wastelands that they demanded the defenseless soldiers walk across were murdering people by the thousands.  No human was ever designed to take this kind of punishment, and the mind would rightfully refuse to comply with the order to march into certain death.  The men would crack, they would refuse to go over the top.  So the dirty bastard French officers turned machine guns on their own men to force them to their death.

This did not go unnoticed by the French people.  In all the bullshit coming out of World War II, the truth behind France's collapse was buried.  French survivors of World War I felt no allegience to a "government" that only 20 some years before had sent their fathers, sons, and brothers to their certain death, and betrayed them with murder from behind.  The same bastards who were in charge in WW I were still there when the second one began.  The people had no reason to keep this French government in power, and a good number of them probably felt the Germans would get rid of them, if nothing else.

A similar sentiment is beginning in America today.  The standard betrayal of the American soldier by the US Government is not going unnoticed this time.  Private charity has to step in because, as usual, the US Government breaks its promises.  Also, returning soldiers are being labeled mentally unstable and dangerous, and are being put on lists.  While America has never suffered the losses that the Europeans did, broken promises and betrayals have the same effect everywhere.

Nobody wants to die to protect an elite and keep their riches safe from other elites.  The lie has worn thin, and people can see that's what this is about now.

Hard to argue with your logic. Injured and dead solider a are and their families treated like garbage.

You're right, why fight for a government that will give Boeing huge bonuses for coming up with planes that don't fly, but give your family nothing when you die, and throw you on the curb when injured for life?

Oh but let's give disability to everyone who can't be stuffed getting a job...

It bears mentioning American Civil War "losses" grossly exceeded WWI and WWII casualties. Adjusted for population few wars have been more devastating.

Exactly right. The 'Wounded Warrior' project in the US is a humiliating admission that 'Obamaphones' for worthless porch monkeys are a much higher government priority than properly tending to the human carnage that is our kids returning from combat. That this charity has to beg for money is a disgrace. The politicians who betrayed them and the rest of us will be remembered when the 'Robespierre' moment arrives.

Marine Le Pen is good for France. Nationalism is not to be feared, what is causing all the problems in the world are globalism. It is in the name of globalism that we meddle in places we have no buisness being, and it is in the name of globalism that we open our borders to people that have no good reason to be in our countries.

Nationalism is the idea that everyone have a nation, a place where they belong and that belongs to them. And that they have a priveledged and exclusive right to that nation and to decide its fate without any outside influence or meddling.

Peace occurs after an aggressor is soundly defeated .... even then it is only temporary .... so, if you want a little peace .... you have to kick some ass .... then enjoy it while it last .... war and struggle are the norm .... peace is the pause that refreshes .... this is nothing new .... so, get over it ?

The mental case has spoken....

"Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu was among them, holding a special press conference on Saturday to address the attacks.

Netanyahu stated: “Israel stands shoulder to shoulder with President Francois Hollande and with the French people in the joint war against terrorism. I offer the condolences of the people of Israel to the families of those murdered, and wish those wounded a speedy recovery.”

He said: “I have been arguing for years that Islamic terror is attacking Israel and other countries because it simply wants to destroy us.”

Netanyahu also argued that an “attack on any of us needs to be seen as an attack on all of us.”

The prime minister has ordered Israeli security and intelligence agencies to give France every assistance possible."

Indigenous people are those who populate a country and share the same value system. The one that recognizes the core values of a particular country. Then it doesn't matter if you are black or white. The Bilderburgers and NWO elite must be AMAZED at how easy it's been. Every year their control expands by 10x. So many planned incidents to see what the reaction of the general public will be. Recall the Bureau of Land Managment trying to seize that family ranch on Nevada over some 'endangered' tortise? They were surprised when the regional militias showed up with legal (for now) weapons and dared the Federales to open up. The Feds disappeared faster than the CNN cameras. These 'refugees' will only do as much as the people of a couthry allow them to do. The US is doomed to follow unless some incident sparks a revolt and people grow a set of balls.

The cops were chasing two youths who jumped a fence into a power substation (clearly marked).

The kids get electrocuted and the cops get the blame.Sounds reasonable to me (NOT).

ISIS was created by the Americans and their NATO allies including FRANCE. As long as NATO is not "contained," ISIS will not be contained.

NATO = ISIS

USA = NATO

How can the French denounce the work of their own minions, ISIS? Remember, France is a democracy and the French people choose their government. Therefore, the French are responsible for the actions of their government that supports ISIS which the French simply label as 'anti-Assad forces' to cover up their duplicity, involvement and RESPONSIBILITY in the atrocities committed by ISIS. To add insult to injury, the French, along with their American friends, bomb Syrian infrastructure back into the stone age pretending that they are only hitting ISIS.

FRANCE = ISIS
