"There's No Such Thing As ISIS": Journalist Destroys West's Terror Narrative, Warns Of Crackdown On "Dissidents"

Tyler Durden's picture

On Saturday, the day after the massacre in France which turned the streets of Paris into a warzone and left some 130 civilians dead, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had a message for the West.

While condemning the attacks and branding the perpetrators “savages”, he was also quick to note that Syria has been dealing with this brand of terrorism for nearly five years straight. In what amounted to an “I told you so” moment, Assad also said the following: “We said, don't take what is happening in Syria lightly. Unfortunately, European officials did not listen.”

Assad also took the opportunity to once again suggest that the West’s sponsorship of the regional powers who support (both explicitly and implicitly) Sunni extremism in Syria is the root cause of the problem although the language he used was a bit less harsh than that which he employed in September (presumably because he was trying not to inflame tensions less than 24 hours after the Paris massacre). Here’s what he said: "The question that is being asked throughout France today is, was France's policy over the past five years the right one? The answer is no."

Presumably, Assad was referencing the West’s support for the various militant groups seeking to oust his government. Those groups, including ISIS, have received money, guns, and training at various times from the CIA, from Turkey, from Saudi Arabia, and from Qatar. The situation on the ground is of course so fluid that it’s nearly impossible to keep track of where the guns, money, and fighters end up, meaning that even those observers who shun conspiracy theories would be hard pressed to contend that the US has not at least indirectly armed and trained ISIS.

Perhaps the most overlooked passage in all of the leaked documents that have surfaced thus far is the following from a declassified Pentagon report dated August 2012 and obtained by Judicial Watch:

...there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).”

That’s it.

That’s the smoking gun and nobody seems to care.

The passage above clearly states that the US knew this was coming and viewed it as “exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want” on the way to not only “isolating” Assad, but also to breaking Tehran’s Shiite crescent.

Although that’s such a critical excerpt, it has been habitually overlooked, and ironically, tragedies like that which occurred in Paris only serve to galvanize public opinion around an ideal rather than around the search for answers and that, is a dangerous, dangerous thing.

In that context and (importantly) in the context of French President Francois Hollande’s push to alter the French Constitution, we bring you the following interview with journalist Gearoid O’Colmain who pretty much blows apart the entire charade in the space of ten minutes.

"There is no such thing as ISIS. ISIS is a creation of the US, we know that from official sources of the US military themselves and declassified documents"...

Enjoy:

A Syrian was on my local radio station today.  He was explaining the merits of Syrian Refugees being planted here in Michigan.

You know what is stupid?

Believing that ISIS can sprout up in the desert as a rag tag bunch of fanatics, and in just a few years time develop an underground government that runs a large portion of Syria and Iraq, all the while, America is supposedly bombing them is really stupid.

Ignoring the fact that ISIS captured oil fields, and now brings in $40-50 Million per month of revenue, but the West can't do anything about it is really stupid.

Failing to understand how Syria, Russia, and Ukraine are tied together may be stupid, or could be simply ignorant.

There is a long list of stupid things that could be developed here, but this is the place where conspiracy theories often become conspiracy facts.

Why ISIS exists is the stinker:  "But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia, and Sudan." -- Wesley Clark (Sept 2003)

Blew the schedule because work had to be outsourced after US troops mounted a successful media campaign against going to Syria.

Western culture is or was a least a mix of new testament humanism,  Greek rationalism and the northern pagan ideal of nature with every brook and rock sacred in some way.

Then Iistened to  almost all of his shows.

Bbc declared that the man was doing it for the money which is simply incredible .

He was making far easier money before he went against the establishment.

His anger is visceral but the inversions he uses on the mind click real and not fake humanist buttons.

The man is following in the tradition of Dante  ( who also was engaged in a war on the church in its quest for temporal Power)

Bbc did a classic liberal fascist hatchet job on perhaps one of the bravest Frenchmen of modern times.

I was disgusted

This post is very off.  First off taking Assad as your source of information on the rebels opposing him is kind of silly.  Second, I'm not sure how you can say "ISIS does not exist".  I mean they're sending videos and executing hostages.  I don't speak Arabic, and I don't live in Syria so I can't say for myself that I have confirmed there is a physical presence outside of the media presence, but the people on those videos are ISIS.  So they exist.  Now I think what he is trying to say is that there is no difference between ISIS and the rebel groups opposing his continued rule in Syria.  I somewhat agree with that insofar as there is no longer a significant armed rebel presence outside of ISIS.  The one thing being a moderate in a civil war will guarantee is that everyone hates you and will wipe you out.  The Russians, Assad and ISIS saw to that.

Yes, you are right: ISIS exists... BUT only to secure the power and wallets of those few who create them - ie. CIA, Mossad and co.

There is no reason for a true terrorist group to target only innocent people. What positive outcomes would they achieve? All false flag operation, I'd say.

WHAT, WHERE, WHEN TO ATTACK.

NOW THE US HAS REDOUBLED THEIR EFFORT TO BOMB ISIS.

You think mahommedans' purpose is just to damage US credibility?  What an arrogant dunce.

These people are serious about what they are doing, which they define in their own terms not ours.  They believe in a religion which for more than a thousand years has said, like its founder, convert the infidels by arms and destroy them if they will not convert.

You think they are playing games to amuse you.  They intend to ensure that you and all who share your thinking are dead.

Try to get outside your fantasies sometime.  The world does not revolve around the US, or around nutters who think everything is a videogame for their amusement.

The world is full of people who wage wars and brutalize others for their own purposes without requiring any inspiration or guidance from the US.  They were doing that thousands of years before the US came into existence and will be doing it after the US is gone.

Good on RT and Press TV to give airtime to differing viewpoints, as George Galloway would say "the voice of the voiceless"

The Paris terror attack was a pure fucking NATO PSYOP.

The Military-Industrial-Media-Order (MIMO) uses PSYOPS to exploit human vulnerabilities in enemy and friendly governments, their militaries, and their populations. That means everyone.

NATO operatives, embarrassed by Russian successes in the Syria theatre; Weapons manufacturers, Airplane manufacturers, and PM Hollande.

The Hegelian Dialectic...

Problem= A Friday the 13th coordinated attack on innocent civilians. No warning, at all from the mighty NSA, GCHQ, or French Intel. It was known and withheld.

I'm going to tell you a quick story, please take a sec and read...
My wife is a doctor and at her last hospital had an academic appointment, as well. She is very easy going, and is extremely liked by Med students and fellows. She became good friends with two fellows from Jordan. To get into med school in Jordan (and most ME countries) it basically says you are tip top of your class. There is no affirmative action bullshit there. You either rank or you don't.These two guys were extremely intelligent.
Anyway, she comes in to start a teaching round, and these two guys are just off that day. They seemed spooked and irritable. She finally took a break and took them aside to see what was wrong. The sort of clammed up. Finally one of them asked her if she'd heard of ISIS. She said she had and that her husband was of the mind that they were US backed stooges used to shape events in the Middle East, but she wasn't completely sure. (She thought up til that point I was crazy and it was just another Conspiracy theory I was on about). She was half joking about her response.
These two Jordanian Dr's stood there in shock.
They said that it was what they were seeing about ISIS that was bothering them. They told her that they thought I was dead on correct. This was around the time the Jordanian pilots were burned alive by ISIS. They said everything about this event was just very, very wrong. Off kilter. They said the pilots did not sound or act Jordanian in any way. They said to hear the ISIS guys rant was weird as hell and they just could not nail down who they were or where they were from by accent or the way they spoke Arabic. It sounded very phony to their ear. They also said that no Muslim would EVER burn anyone alive, no matter how extremist. Would not happen. Infidel or no...that mode of execution just would NOT happen. Ditto the cannibal theater and antics.

All of it left them very scared and disturbed. None of it made any sense at all. They felt it was completely staged. Needless to say, my wife now looks at all this very differently. I don't know how many of you have any contact with people from the ME, but I'd bet you'd hear the same thing from them of you did. I hope this gives some perspective.

Such horsehit...

First of all, there weren't pilot(s) There was one pilot. Secondly, the pilot was a real live Jordanian citizen and that was backed up by umm err -- HIS FAMILY.

His name was Muath al-Kasasbeh. He was a real person and he was burned alive by theose ISIS assholes.

Now, if you want to verify your story. I'd be happy to listen. Perhaps your wifes name, the hospital that she has her practice and of course the names of Jordanian doctors that supposedly told your wife that you "were dead on correct" which if was a direct quote, sounds suspiciously like someone from everywhere BUT the ME would say.

Your conspiracy crap is monumentally disrespectful to this man, his family and of course the Jordanian people, but again, if you'd care to verify your story, I'm opoen to listening...

I have traveled the ME for quite a few years now - just got back from Saudi a short while ago. I have spoken with professionals in and out of govt. there, as well as those whose families are in the effected regions. There exists only one universal truth that you can depend on insofar as news analysis from the MSM is concerned - IT IS absolutely 100% WRONG VIRTUALLY 100% OF THE TIME, AND OFTEN  BY 180 DEG! Of the few truths that emerge - it IS INDEED a manufactured proxy war. There are so many vested interests and players and variables that the players themselves are unlikely aware of the full scope of the game in which they are playing. It is FULL of conspiracies that are NOT just theories. And YES - the US is very much complicit in agitating and aggravating the bloodshed there. The Full truth of this debacle will likely NEVER be known.

Well, most of us can interpret the meaning of sentences even though they are not literally spelled out. If ISIS is a creation of US or some other entity independent thereof or ancillary thereto, then the independent ISIS that issues threats and claims responsibility for media-hyped accidents or attacks is indeed a fiction. It doesn't matter if he said those words, because it's clear that he meant the same thing.
