it's not bringing 10,000 people from a war torn country to the US that I have a problem with.
it's trusting the federal government to be certain, beyond a shadow of any doubt that not a single one of them has ill intentions that I have a major issue with. which in this case is especially important given the region of the planet they are coming from. these are not earthquake victims from Haiti they are taking in.
it is completely ludicrous to believe that the feds screening process is so infallible that the white house can promise there is absolutely no possibility of putting those of us who all ready live here in harms way. especially considering that in every other matter the federal government has proven itself to be nothing less than staggeringly incompetent.

I truly, sincerely have heart felt sympathy for the people of Syria, for what the everyday folk are going through in their homeland. the vast majority of them want no part of this, don't hate anybody in particular and just want to live their lives in peace the same as any of us. the greatest tragedy of this whole god awful mess is they have been denied that opportunity and have been forced to live with a truly ugly devastating war. what's worse is the very federal government which supposedly represents me has done nothing less than make their misery, pain and suffering that much worse in their arrogance,hypocrisy, delusions of grandeur and all around psychopathy.

Also, how are these refugees going to cope? They have a hugely different culture, language, mindset, plus the trauma of war. If they had individual sponsors, then perhaps they might stand a chance, but even then, ordinary Americans would wonder why they are paying for strangers when their own families struggle desperately to get by. It is commonsense that the War Party on all sides are foisting their guilt and other plots upon civilians, again. This time in the USA. These war refugees should be taken in by Israel and other Middle Eastern countries who are closest to them geographically, and culturally. After all, they all claim to be semites, right? They receive huge doses of foreign aid from U.S. taxpayers, most of whom oppose those permanent wars. Time for the Middle East including Israel to bear more of the cost of their own intransigence, and show practical compassion for the suffering civilian victims - house, clothe,, feed and school them at their expense.
