Video Footage From Mali Reveals Tense Standoff Between Special Forces, Hostage Takers
In the past hour several video clips have emerged from Mali, showing the tense situation where an estimated 10 gunmen, according to AFP, have taken dozen of hostages and where Mali, French and US special forces are now engaging the hostage takers.

Blowback times are here again. This situation is not dissimilar to that time when a bunch of friendly young men marched into a little town and demanded that some weapons be turned over. A few shots were exchanged and then, my oh my, the red jackets on those young men sure made them tempting targets as they hurried back to their base.

More punishment for France for recognizing Palestine?
As usual, Tom Clancy wrote about this almost two decades ago in his book Rainbow Six, about an elite anti-terrorist team that deals with hostage-taking and terrorism attacks all over the world. He also wrote about how a jumbo jet crashed into congress in Debt of Honor, or how terrorists would shoot up shopping malls, use biological agents, or crash the stock market (which has yet to come true, but likely will.)
The political winds are turning putrid, so Barry is gon' be standing with the muslims. He said so in the book he (read Bill Ayers) wrote.

The run-up to WWIII is an appropriate time as any.
We all have reality filters (similar to frames of reference but implies more formatting) that we acquire and then sink into our subconscious. A person will gravitate to filters that are compatible with their own. It is difficult to detect ones own filters for self explanatory reasons. The best route to detecting your filters is most likely to detect and observe the filters of others, watching how they operate and observing how their filters limit their awareness.
You cannot destroy your RF as they provide the necessary scaffolding for how we learn. What you can do is identify them, monitor and continue to add good data so that they become more pliable. It is obvious that reality filters skew results, are unempowering and often originate from outside ones self (my filter). The debate and rhetoric occuring during this run-up to WWIII may provide a good opportunity to observe RFs and contemplate their consequences.
I admittedly have a giant corruption/conspiracy filter that subconsciously kicks in and runs new current event data through my "what are these corrupt motherfuckers up to now and how does this fit their evil plans" filter. Some filters I have detected in others (always easier) include:
"Muslims have always been a problem there is something inherently wrong with them or their religion" (this implies that acton should be taken and provides justification for WWIII in my opinion).
"Christians are at risk of being wiped out by the Muslim faith" (ditto)
"Large gov is the only viable protection from the predatory interests out there" (calls for strengthening and consolidating state power)
I am not saying that these filters are wrong as no filters are always wrong. I am saying that it may pay to check the filters you are running with and contemplate what agenda outside of ones self may be benefitting. We really don't want to be n the wrong side of this one.
