Effective immediately, there will be no planes allowed to fly over Syria...that includes Israeli piloted F16s or US piloted F16s.

God bless the crew of the downed SU-24, let's hope that the " backstabbing-bastard " Erdogan will have the same fate of S.Hussein or Gaddafi

Interestingly, calliing Erdogan a 'backstabbing bastard'is similar to Putins comments.

Putin also described the incident as a stab in Russia's back by supposed allies.  The russian plane crashed 4 kilometres from the Turkish border within Syria.

It was made on purpose to call Erdogan a backstbbing-bastard. I was directly referring to the declarations of Putin but I'm sure you already guessed it @ Latina Lover.

Putin openly said Turkey is the "accomplice" of ISIS, and strongly suggested Turkey is responsible for enabling ISIS' oil commerce. He also said Turkey had backstabbed Russia, and made clear the SU was over Syrian airspace when it was shot down.

As far as I can tell he had never been that clear on Turkey's role. Now that he acknowledged this, ie now that Turkey's support for ISIS is part of the Russian common knowledge, he is obliged to escalate towards Turkey, there is no turning back from such a declaration.

What Putin must do now is isolate Turkey, and by extention, NATO. What comes around, goes around, so my guess is that Putin will establish a no-fly zone over Northwestern Syria at the very least, if not the entire western half of the nation. This will be done to "...protect our pilots, who conduct operations against international terrorists..."

This shootdown could be a manna-from-heaven event for Putin, who knows how to turn events to his advantage. If he plays this properly, NATO will be shut out of any middle-east action. This will allow Putin the maneuverability to deal with individual nations, instead of regional alliances. King Abdullah is already giving him this opening.

Collaterally, I suppose this event will bost morale in the Russian and Syrian regime forces, and have a similar deleterious effect on the morale of the ISIS fighters, once Turkey is removed from the equation.

Tell your dictator Erdogan to go to hell and that unless he stops well established and easily proven support for ISIS, Russia will sever diplomatic relations. We are prepared to turn Syria into a big Stalingrad for Turkey and her Saudi allies and their vicious little gang of Hitlers.
Your little dictator is a hypocrite, attacking the military coup in Egypt while, at the same time, he is trying to overthrow the elected government of Syria. As it stands, China, Iran and Russia will guarantee the survival of Syria.

Boy, would they love that - Fethullah Gülen and the CIA have been biding their time for such an opportunity for nearly a decade now. Though, between the two of them, I doubt they care much which puppet ultimately ends up with the reigns, provided his strings are thoroughly responsive.

The CIA's been ramping up heroin shipments (that traditionally were routed through refining and shipping points in Turkey) through the Gulf of Guinea as of late, using the old network they put in place during the Cold War in tandem with the Gladio network: http://statelesshomesteading.com/the-sustainable-gladios-and-the-west-af...

Not to mention poppy production in Southern Mexico, which historically hasn't been used to grow opium, has surged over the past few years; these moves on the "Grand Chessboard" seem to indicate that the Anglo-American Establishment is poised to leave their Central Asian Caucasus drug operations in favor of alternative production and transit routes.

People tend to forget that up until the mid-90s, when NATO's involvement with heroin in Afghanistan ramped up significantly after the "Taliban"/Massoud war, the Russian Mafia and KGB ran the Afghan opium trade. Drugs, like any other commodity, have supercycles. This is simply the pendulum swinging after nearly two decades of near monopolization by the West and is extensively documented by the testimony of FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds.

There are no "Good Guys" or "Bad Guys" on the world stage, just pawns and players. This ain't a fucking comic book, man.

Dear World,

Well, we had a nice run. A thousand or so years of progress, new concepts and inventions, discoveries about the nature and function of the universe from atoms to galaxies. Pretty good run there, folks. But, as with most things, nothing lasts forever. We actually peaked as a race a few decades back, so nowhere to go but down. May as well make it memorable. Well, if anyone is around to remember it that is.

On the plus side, I may finally get to see a nuclear explosion in person. Bet the bass on that fucker will be epic.

Alas, Babylon, Bitchez. Peace out.

It's slightly stickier than that - it wasn't a SAM, it was Turkish F-16's - and someone up the chain had to give the go ahead for the pilots to go hot.  SO - it's a little difficult to blame it on some rogue videogame-happy Private McHadji in the field ....

Vlad will take his time, talk to his advisors, examine his options, take his time and then he will have his due. Vlad is not like Krsuchev, banging a shoe on the UN table. Vlad is a much smarter cookie.  He must have some idea the fate of the entire world rests with him. And, I still think, selective suiciding is the answer here.

Erdogan is insane. A madman. And Obama is a pussy whipped puppet who can't wipe his ass without getting permission from his handlers. He wears a chastity belt with a Mossad agent holding the key. Time to kick Turkey out of Nato before that madman Erdogan starts WW3. The Saudis are also dangerous allies. The Wahabbists need to be stopped. Time to bring Democracy and Civilization to Saudi Arabia.

The US Deep State Shadow Government is a caged rat which cannot get out of the mess they have created with their Isis creation. They thought Putin would not act in Syria  -they were wrong. Now what will these madmen do? These are very dangerous times.

Vlad knows how important it is for him not to be misquoted or taken out of context by the Western press. When he has something important to say, he says it very plainly and clearly, and speaks very slowly so that even regular people should be able to understand it.
