Mark Dice Confronts America's Zombie Shoppers
Unlike on previous occasions when Mark Dice either mocks the stupidity of Americans for having zero clue about the true worth of precious metals, or mocks the stupidity of Americans for having absolutely no understanding of politics (yet supporting Hillary Clinton among others), in his latest clip, the notorious lampooner takes a stroll at 4:30 pm on Thanksgiving night in front of the Best Buy in San Diego where he finds a massive line.
What follows is Mark, armed with just a bullhorn, taking on several hundred consumption zombies waiting in line at Best Buy, armed with just their overdrawn credit cards, or as he calls them "enemies of America. A symptom of this failed country. When this country is bankrupt, and it will be soon, you look in the mirror and that's who you blame."
Number of zombies impacted by his preaching? Zero. Why, because there is a TV for $99.95 to be bought proving the hedonically-adjusted deflationary wave sweeping the world is "all too real" and only much more QE and far more negative rates, making the merely billionaires into trillionaires, can save the global economy.

Yes, they are MUCH heavier outside NYC. In MO, they are mostly 250 minimum. Mostly the women are fat though.

I'm not sure that Mark Dice has much to contribute to our political debate. He has a nice little franchise producing fake polls where he interrupts San Diego beachgoers in the middle of their vacations and coerces them into answering some sensational question while they are clearly distracted. With various NLP techniques, that he admits, he gets them to agree to whatever he says, just so they can be left alone again to enjoy their vacations. Then from this tiny sample set of manipulated results, he makes broad claims about "liberals" and the American people. (I have yet to see a video where any of his respondents identifies a political party or leaning.) I'm not sure how far he can ride this pony, but I guess he'll ride it a bit further with a lot of help from the libertarian press.
The tragedy is that he genuinely believes his results are valid. If there is a lesson in his videos, it's that people will tend to agree with whatever notion an angry, embittered, muscle-bound moose of a man stalking the boardwalk suggests, if only to avoid an ugly confrontation. No one argues with the filthy schizophrenic living in the dumpster behind the grocery store either. Not only is it unproductive, it's dangerous. Just nod politely, agree with whatever he says, and extricate yourself as quickly as possible.
I appreciate Mark's conviction and fervor. I just hope he finds a more constructive outlet for his anger.

What’s just as sad is how many dupes in the line are probably going to get sold up by a slick salesman to a more expensive model and additional items. I bet a good percentage of them, who thought they were going to spend $100, are going to end up walking out of that store with another $500-$1000 charge on their credit card telling everyone how much money they saved.
