To those that down voted me, I can only say that Obama and the "Bernake" has made me rich. The preps are in place and the PM stack is nice, large and shiny. Have nice Catamaran ready to set sail if/when the time comes.

Most people aren't ready to accept their Randist view of their own success are blinkered. For example, most small business owners sneer loud and long about unions, while their revenue depends on wage earners with incomes above bare survival rates.

That's the crazy thing. We know this. But there is no apparent reconciliation of the magnitude of dollars they have printed and distortions they have introduced with commensurate tangible impacts.
I can only imagine this means our default state in a free market would be raging real growth and abundance, and the Fed's devastating deprivations are simply being absorbed by the sheer power what of organic productivity growth they don't manage to fully sabotage.
On the one hand, almost all of this printed money stays in the financial gaming world. Calling them markets is sabotaging the meaning of the word.
On the other, the activity of the real economy depends on more than the number of dollars sitting around. While an important thing, it's not the only thing.
For example, it's only US labor participation. With offshoring, the jobs are being done, it's just immigrants and overseas workers subsidized by their governments. Which is why most twenty-somethings are living with their parents, working part time at a convenience store.

Yes, in the current global monetary system, bankers and financiers are nothing but useless overcompensated middlemen stuck between the printer/computer (were "money" is created without any real work or collateral) and the producer/consumer in the real economy.

eventually the producers of real goods and serivices will not be able to deliver at any price. Supply lines break and the world goes to war in earnest.

There are many publics, each with their own interests.
Do the math, and the idea of the 99% vs the 1% comes out about right. The moral agnostic position that the luxury of the few is as important as the survival of the many was always a PR slogan.
