So, it is hardly surprising that the inevitable fall-out from this ultra-nationalist commentary has resulted in Frenc citizens taking their own protection into their own hands...

Multiculturalism is a dangerous fraud but much of this could have been avoided if the host nations insisted upon socio-cultural, linguistic, judicial, etc., assimilation. Instead they encouraged internal Islamic no-go colonies that openly attacked the police with no fear of correction.
The Islamics foolishly took the multi-culti bait which further inflated their deep seated sense of superiority. They are genuinely convinced that the infidels are required to provide benefits with no positive returns. So now the French are stuck with a huge, angry FSA.
