As Reuters details, President Barack Obama will deliver a statement to reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday at 1030 a.m. (1530 GMT), the White House said in a statement. "Members of his national security team will also attend," the White House said.

A true story about this morning in a small town in central Texas,
I got up as usual, got dressed, belted on my 1911 Kimber Carry and when to work. I sit here reading about this shit as my boss, CEO comes in about 9am toting his backpack which I know also contains a full size 1911 and several loaded magazines. The Customer Service girl accross the hall has a 38 revolver in her purse as always. I went downstairs to see the cute little blonde QC girl in her office by the front door, she doesn't even try to hide the full size 1911 in a shoulder holster as I ogle her nice boobs. On the way down I passed the maintenance guy, don't know what he carries under his overshirt, but it ain't small. I know there are at least 10 other carrying in the plant and I don't know them all.
