Feds Illegally Maintain Registry Of Firearm Owners; Media Fails To Report It
Submitted by Justin King via TheAntiMedia.org,
One of the largest fears of firearm owners is the prospect of a database of their names and personal information in the hands of the federal government. The idea of the government in possession of a list of gun owners has been one of the most opposed proposals in the gun control debate. The stiff opposition is linked to the justifiable fear of the government using such a list to confiscate firearms by force.
The idea of registering with the federal government brought such stiff opposition that when the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) was instituted, the law specifically prohibited the collection of data about legal gun owners and the implementation of any kind of registry. The law reads in relevant part:
“The NICS, including the NICS Audit Log, may not be used by any Department, agency, officer, or employee of the United States to establish any system for the registration of firearms, firearm owners, or firearm transactions or dispositions, except with respect to persons prohibited from receiving a firearm by 18 U.S.C. 922(g) or (n) or by state law. The NICS Audit Log will be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis to detect any possible misuse of NICS data.”
In plain English, unless a person is prohibited from owning a firearm, their information cannot be retained. However, a recent Washington Post article parroted the Government Accounting Office’s numbers related to firearms purchases:
“Between 2004 and 2014, suspected terrorists attempted to purchase guns from American dealers at least 2,233 times. And in 2,043 of those cases — 91 percent of the time — they succeeded.”
Upon first reading, many Americans might be glad the authorities are keeping an eye on those potential terrorists in our midst. Of course, the facts are a little different. The term “suspected terrorists” in this case means somebody on the combined terrorist watch-list. These are people that may have never been convicted or even charged with a crime. The list has expanded so much that there are around 700,000 names on the list. They include a number of journalists, former Department of Justice ethics adviser
Even more disturbing is that to make the matches, the government must retain records on everyone, or at least have every purchase in a supposedly confidential system scanned. That data is being shared within the government, contrary to federal law. When the FBI released its figures, it went as far as saying that 2,000 known or suspected terrorists bought a pistol, sports rifle, or assault weapon. This means they are collecting information about the types of purchases as well. Just matching a name to a list would not be enough to come up with accurate data. This means the NICS program, which was promised to be free from other agencies, is sharing personal data such as name, date of birth, address, and social security number.
To be very clear, the NICS system is retaining records of legal purchases, it is sharing that information with other agencies, it is retaining and sharing information containing enough detail to match the purchaser to a government created list, and now the US government is publicizing the fact that it is doing this even though it is a violation of federal law.
This comes at a time when the government is making another power-grab for firearms. If we can’t trust the government to obey its own laws, how can we trust them with more power? This revelation leaves those seeking sensible reform to a shoddy gun control system in the lurch. It has become clear the only way to avoid having your firearms purchases tracked and registered by the federal government is to exploit the “gun show loophole” so many want to close.
A list of news outlets parroted the government’s release of information without questioning where the data came from and the legality of it be recording. Whether you agree with the concept of gun registration or not, the failure to report the dubious origin of the data demonstrates either poor journalism or complicity in pushing a government agenda. Those outlets include: The Washington Post, Newsweek, CNN, the New York Daily News, CBS, and dozens of others.

Legal Gun owners need to brace for the coming liberal assault and blame. Get that NRA membership folks, before it is outlawed too.
The NRA probably turned over their list first.. right after the cellphone companies willingly spied on their customers.
Bingo. Fuck the NRA and the status quo. Get your tribe in order. Vote with your wallet. The NRA has to play along.
I don't believe it. I thought our government was full of law abiding individuals who were out to protect our freedoms. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that someone, anyone, in government would even contemplate breaking the law, much less actually doing it.
/sarc
Oh come on... Anyone who thought the US Shadow Gov't wasn't already doing this is a bit naive.
After recent sales numbers, what good will a list be when everyone is on it?
Are the Fast and Furious cartels included?
At this link you'll find a chart of the history of firearms confiscation/bans, and the mass murder that followed. Print it out, share it with friends, post it on your gunsafe.

"After recent sales numbers, what good will a list be when everyone is on it?"
+1000
Obozo = the greatest infuence for gun sales in history!
I am fucking sick of these fucking communist gun laws. Every single gun law passed since 1933 needs to be repealed.
I will settle for nothing less.
You really think ol .gov would have this info and then willfully destroy it permanently? Keep voting, the next president will be better.
I like my guns like I Obama likes his immigrants: Undocumented.
Obozo = the greatest infuence for gun sales in history!
The Obozo legacy. Finally something good.
This is exactly why I buy my guns on the street. They think they know about four that I own but that's wrong, I sold those.
To the Mexican drug cartels ;-)
LOL
Link of the year IMO. Thanks RafterMan.
If they come for mine I would have to point them to the lake, after that tradgick boating accident I lost them all.
Yep, just make sure that you send them down the lake path you create a few punji pits for them to navigate through. Fascism of that order requires a penalty
I like that.
But I also like going on offense. Isn't it past time people rise up and run all fascists out/down?
They can't come for the guns everywhere at the same time, giving owners elsewhere time to organize and the courts to step in. Molon labe.
The courts have been a significant part of the problem over the years. The 2nd amendment is either a right which cannot be infringed (limited, curtailed, legislated away etc) or it is not. There is no ambiguity about it.......
The government has given itself the right to assume you gave up your Constitution in order to become a statutory citizen of DC /the 14th amendment. You have to forcefully rebut the assumption in court. It has to do with your unlimited right to contract or not to contract. Since almost no one understands the government must have your consent to limit your rights, . gov gets away with it by intimidation. Everyone assumes the government understands their limited authority and uses it properly. That is mutual ignorance of assumptions.
If you don't go to court to claim your rights and just ignore the illegal theft of your rights it could get you murdered.
"...go to court to claim your rights"
Hahahahhehehhoh!
Now that is some seriously funny shit.
If you think you can rely on the courts your head is still in the sand. Every judge is corrupt.
Your boating accident was SO bad, *my* guns went down with yours. Tragic indeed.
I want to hear you say that when screaming Fed agents have a gun to your,or your kids,
head.A couple of us on ZH have had that dubious pleasure. I was so drunk at the time,I nearly
pulled a gun on them because I had no idea what was going on.
Make sure you are sober when they come, and they will, its just a matter of time.
Thats why I buy my guns on the "black'.
I don't employ peeps on the most wanted list anymore either.
Try Gun Owners of America...........they don't compromise............NRA is a sell out...........
Go GOA! Fuck the NRA, they are fuckin sellouts.
I third that motion
Wait.
WHAT?
Charelton Heston! Movie star!
'Cold dead hands'!
I attended the CPAC Liberty Forum at the Omni Shoreham on February 27, 2009. One of the keynote speakers was a guy by the name of Larry Pratt. He had this 'strange' idea that the NRA was involved in gun control legislation, and had decided to found the Gun Owners of America as a 'counter-revolutionary' tactic/true conservative measure.
These OTHER radicals, like Tom Woods, Bruce Fein, Andrew Napolitano, and (GASP!) RON PAUL were there as well. The Hampton Room was filled to overflowing, with people lined up in the hallway all the way to the lobby watching on T.V. sets (that couldn't get in).
That trip cost a shitload of FRN's but IT WAS WORTH IT. I stayed at the State Plaza Hotel, and got to see the Watergate, and everything.
My gun and I were having this discussion the other day, and she told me OUTRIGHT that she kills people. After I unloaded her, she told me that it wasn't 'fair', because she felt like I was a 'sexist' (and called me a rayciss). Last time I saw her, she was out on the street, hustling to score what she calls 'rounds' from Eric Holder and the Mexican Mafia Cartels, and called me names, threatening me with 'Fast And Furious' payback.
Needless to say, the divorce was finalized, and I now have a NEW gun, who has told me that she won't kill people unless I SAY SO. She's slighly jealous of my other guns, but is taking it in stride (I lied to her and told her that I was a Mormon, and Mormon males have MULTIPLE guns that they truly love).

I want to know who was moronic enough to believe Uncle Scam wasn't keepong
a register ?
Do as the police do, for every legal one have a throwaway.
I have never bought one that requires that background check yet.
It was easy to see that coming.
Yes. Many (progressively more obvious) events making this clear since 1971 with 2001 and then 2008/2009 being the most recent.
Ever since the monetary system was finally cut loose from any attachment to reality things have gotten exponentially worse on so many fronts.
same as it ever was.
Ironic that I just wrote this on another thread about gun control:
" I wonder where the NRA is? It seems to me they have been very quiet lately, the opposite of what I would expect under this increased assault on gun rights. They should be at the very least busy with their own causation statistics and pointing out how the dramatic increase in mass shootings correlates with the introduction and widespread distribution of SSRI's and other psychotropic drugs being handed out like candy. Or, the correlation between allowing the drug companies to advertise on TV, which was only permitted since 1997. Is the NRA somehow beholden to drug companies and the media conglomerates raking in the ad revenue?
It's kind of like politicians and the media when it comes to the issue of Israel and dual citizenship. Nary a mention anywhere by anyone, when the upper levels of government becomes more infested with traitors who put other interests ahead of America's with each passing year."
The NRA is busy trying to erode your second amendment right away for political favors for their officers. The NRA are truly and completely a worthless organization. They have on numerous occasions given concessions (your rights) away to the government while the GOA actually fought tooth and nail to keep them or get them back. FUCK THE NRA. If anyone you know gives them money, make sure to let them know they would have been better off throwing the money in the fire.
Yes, I know. Everything, including this site, gets co-opted by the invisible hands.
Join "Gun Owners of America", they are the only no bullshit organization out there and there is strength in numbers. Google them for membership info! It's cheap and worthwhile!
What firearms?
NRA? What's that? National Reptile Association?
I plead the 5th. And I do get more forgetful as I get older.
The NRA has become as lethargic as AARP. Big marketing but little useful action.
AARP has been completely co-opted and is worthless.
yes, send their self stamped envelopes back to them. c & p them. Make them eat the expense of filtering thru the waves of no thank you blank forms.
They don't send me prepaid-postage return envelops any longer. I used to do that, but apparently they got tired of subsidizing my pinpricks.
It's even better to tear up the other papers that come with there propaganda and just stuff it all back in the envelop. Even better if you can get it over weight! I make sure I stay on the HSUS mailing list just because!
TC, not sure how much that will help...
Maybe it's time to start milling an 80% polymer lower and loading your own ammo. A 3D printer might be good to get too..
Cheaper and easier to learn to cast aluminum.
It can be done with a flower pot, bag of charcoal, a sand box, and of course aluminum.
Membership in the NRA will soon be illegal.
Thankfully.
:)
So, why hasn't your coveted little NRA already filed charges against the .gov for breaking the law? This one should be cut and dried, right. If we can't stop them from keeping names (registry) then we can't stop them from anything.
The time to act is now. Who is a lawyer that wants to file charges. I will use my name in this suit (or others for a class action) if we feel our name has been kept in defiance of Federal Law (I have bought a few guns in this timeframe).
Screw the NRA, they fall over everytime...
Gun Owners of America if you want a real Gun Rights group.

When I read his book, I read, over and over, this and similar passages. The above dynamic, and his equating those who never fought back, like sheep to the wolves, really shook me. Some of my smartest, closest pals, give me such a strange look when I calmly state that our own government needs a check against it via gun ownership. Yes, I know my local cops who have bought surplus tanks and weapons from the MIC will flatten me, but my ownership has to mean something, right? People in my nation may be the single most imprisoned slaves on the planet with all of the intense tracking, calls/emails/records collection, cameras etc. And, don't dare try to rattle your sheep friends from their material induced trances. Like a dog eating at a bowl, they'll snap their jaws at you for messing with their impulsive ecstasy. What a fucked state of affairs.
Where are the families of the oppressors? Are they safe? If they weren't safe, would the oppressors still attack citizens for their guns?
Bingo. The MIC can send the children of citizens around the world to fight to enlarge their bank accounts, so the parents of these exported soldiers should be able to claim the children of the MIC. One need not look further than the prep schools on the East Coast. They are littered with the kids who will end up in a race for the R or D party. There are blood products (almost any modern day product made by slaves overseas) and then there is blood money, which carries with it a far more sinister energy. These little shits live high on the hog from the spoils of war.
Once again, the law doesn't matter to the lawless gov't
If they are doing background checks, does this really come as a surprise? I mean they didn't tell anyone they were recording your phone calls but, oh shocker. This is why they want checks on private sales; control!
So do I have to declare my Mario Draghi signature series water pistol?

I don't know one single cop who would not bust a nut at the chance.
I know deputies who have lost their badge for fucking with peoples gun rights.
You must be drunk or something to think so highly of traitors who wear stupid uniforms.
No such a thing as a 'good cop' anymore.
They are the redcoats now.
Well, not to disagree with your assessment, but I happen to have a few sheriffs and local popo who have been lifelong friends, who would vociferously disagree with you.

If my grandpa came back from WWII today this would be our conversation. I’m going down to the corner tavern for a beer and a smoke. Sorry Grandpa it’s now illegal to smoke in a bar. Okay let’s go down to the park to play fetch with the dog. Sorry Grandpa it’s now illegal for your dog to be off leash. Alright get your Red Ryder BB Gun and we’ll shoot targets in the yard. Sorry Grandpa that’s illegal too. Get my gun! I’m headed to DC the Commies took over while I was killing Nazi’s!
Did grandpa know that the commies told him to kill the nazis?
" Get my gun! I’m headed to DC the Commies took over while I was killing Nazi’s!"
Yeah right.
Gramps ain't done shit but kill the wrong people.
Typical 'merican piece of shit.
The wrong ones are the children.
Most of the rest are asking for it.
It is amazing what mistreatment people will accept So long as it is preceded by a little "official" ceremony.
Once you reject th he ceremonies the list of who needs killing grows long.
"2,000 known or suspected terrorists bought a pistol, sports rifle, or assault weapon."
IF "suspected" terrorists are purchasing "assault weapons" (i.e. military weapons capable of full automatic fire; machine guns) which require an extensive background check and a substantial payment to obtain a Class 3 weapons permit, it is either due to very sloppy background checks or an effort to do a sting setup on that person.
to the gun confiscation fanatics, a .22 cal revolver is an assault weapon
You can bet your life, they also have a list of zerohedgers
I'm sure they do. The Tylers STILL refuse to implement TLS connections to the site. WTF???
who'd a thunk the treacherous leeches in dc would illegally use your social security number as id. this illegal gun registry comes as no shock
Tracking and control of gun & ammunition sales will be even easier when cash is outlawed.
Like the K.U. said, "Enough is enough!"
Shut down FedGov or seceed before it's too late.
Mine were stolen; last night, in fact. All the ammo too. I am really sorry.
I wish the federal government would get on with it. Just confiscate.
The only solution to gun violence is to get rid of ALL the guns.
With no compensation except a jolly good spanking.
Why are you using the terms Gun and Violence? Why not Gun and Peace or Gun and Freedom? Who taught you to say Gun & Violence together?
If you need a gun to feel free, you are TOTALLY PATHETIC
If you need to tell me what to do so you can feel free, you need to fuck off and die.
If it weren't for guns, no one would ever kill anyone evarrrrr!
Cain used a gun?
Hoo wooda thunk it!
Yeah! Let's all disarm and get the shit kicked out of us by thugs, muzzies and da gubmint for our security! Do it for the children!
On a totally unrelated topic:
Wonder if Hannah Graham might have benefitted from a concealed pistol? Or any of the other teenaged girls that 300 lb ape raped to death?
You are right. And all armed federal employees should set a good example by disarming themselves first. If they don't trust the people then the people shouldn't trust them.
The elected roaches are starting to squirm. Pitchforks are a sharpening.
I KNEW this was happening. Nobody would believe me.
They mistakenly believed that the government OBEYED its own laws...they do not.
Just look at what the FBI did at Waco, the ATF, as it was then known, was also breaking Federal law.
As Jack Nelson, the late national reporter for the Los Angeles Times, said about the killing of school teacher Kathy Ainsworth and the shooting of her boyfriend, who lost an arm, when ambushed by the FBI at the behest of Jewish groups in Mississippi: "THE FBI CAME TO DO MURDER"
"...the FBI got together with the Jewish community. The Jewish community was very small in Mississippi at the time. This was Jackson and Meridian, Mississippi, and the community was very small but also had a lot of clout. They were people of some means. They got together with the FBI and the Meridian Police Department, and essentially what happened was that two members of the Klan were set up in a death trap.
The cops ran up, and at a distance of 15 feet four of them unloaded buckshot at him. One of them told me, a sergeant, "We meant to kill him, I don't mind telling you." They pulled him out of the bushes, and they had practically blown away one arm, and he was still alive. Somebody said, "Is he alive?" and the other one said, "The son-of-a-bitch is still alive." So somebody ran up and put a gun to his head, and somebody else said, "Don't shoot. The neighbors are here," so they didn't shoot and he survived."
Jack Nelson interviewed by BRIAN LAMB C-SPAN 1993
http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Kathy_Ainsworth
Kathy Ainsworth (July 31, 1941 - June 30, 1968, born Kathryn Madlyn Capomacchia) was a Mississippi school teacher, pregnant with her first child, who was ambushed and killed by the FBI during their campaign against the Ku Klux Klan. Ainsworth and Thomas Tarrants were ordered by Agents provocateur to bomb the home of Meyer Davidson, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) leader in Meridian, Mississippi. The plot was initiated by two FBI Agents provocateur Alton Roberts and Raymond Roberts who were being paid by the ADL. The ADL and the FBI planned the false flag operation in order to ambush and kill Ainsworth and Tarrants.
On June 30, 1968, Kathy Ainsworth and Thomas Tarrants drove to the home of Meyer Davidson planning to place the bomb on his front porch. The bomb was a nuisance device left on the front porch at night intended to make a lot of noise not blow up the house or harm it's occupants. The FBI was hiding in the bushes and attacked the unsuspecting couple in a hail of gunfire similar to the scene in the 1967 movie, Bonnie and Clyde. Ainsworth was killed instantly; Tarrants was hit 19 times but survived.

Are you for real? According to what you say, they were going over to someone's house to place a bomb on their porch.
I don't care if it was a big bomb or a little one.
That's a bomb on someone's porch.
And you are complaining that they were "ambushed"?
Sorry, kids, I'd "ambush" the mother fuckers too, and with a song in my heart.
If people want to start committing acts of war, then they should not be able to whine about their civil rights being violated while they were attempting to bomb someone's house.
They went to make war and someone made war right back on them. C'est la guerre. I don't care about which side is right in this case. You want to bomb somebody's house, you need to go forth in the expectation that other people get to shoot back.
Nobody stuck a gun in their back and marched them over there. They went of their own free will. If they are dumb enough to volunteer to run a bomb over to anybody's house at anybody's behest, then Darwin Award rules are in effect.
let's establish a registry for "them" for when the enivtable "transition" arrives.
I've lost EVERYTHING in a stupid boating accident!!
As I recall, I sold all my personal self defense firearms a long time ago to some hispanic fellow, probably an illegal, but don't know cause would have been impolite and racist to ask, and I have dated notarized docs to prove it.
I got the names and addresses of my buyers, but deleted the data after 3 days like the Feds are supposed to do.
Excuse me, Nelson Mandela was not "suspected" of being a terrorist. Anybody who knew a thing about him or South Africa had no doubt whatever that he was a terrorist, a communist and a cold-blooded killer, who died utterly unrepentant of murdering Afrikaners for the crime of being white.

Due directly to Liberalism, we are the only race in the whole world that is being taught to despise itself. Due to Liberalism, the more intelligent of our youth are being mentally and morally destroyed at our universities; this being the best method of destroying them short of putting them in front of Communist firing squads.
Our survival-morality will very certainly entail a rejection of Integration and an acceptance of Segregation; not only because of the unpleasantness, friction, general degradation and mongrelisation which integration brings, but also because we simply do not desire to mix with others.
WHITE MAN, THINK AGAIN! by Anthony Jacob, Johannesburg 1965
I live in a country with only one gun store - and it is an army base. Citizens and residents must be verified to not have a crimminal past to purchase a weapon. I don't know what sort of weapon selection there is. After purchase they will give you a few day's pass to get your weapon home (for self protection) where it is supposed to stay. You CAN get a concealed weapons permit - but I don't know the specfics.
Well at least they thwarted the San Bernardino massacre...Oklahoma, Boston, FT Hood, London bombings, Colorado Movie theater, Gbby Giffords, 9 FUCKING 11, AND THE LIST GOES ON..When the economy plays the SHTF music they will be ready for us..
Homeland Security=FAIL
NSA=Fail
CIA=Fail
Funny how the MSM isn't calling out these fuckers who stepped on their dicks TRYING to protect us...FUBAR
eh, this is gonna get hyped, but in reality it doesn't matter all that much. with the number of guns out there, they are not going to be taken away anytime soon. absolute worst case, they profile people and use "they have guns" as an excuse to send in the swat team... but they are doing that now anyways.
if you're worried about gun restrictions, just buy more guns. just be responsible and keep them secure obviously.
That would certainly be a very popular method to boost GDP!
Imagine what O-zero's GDP numbers would be if he wasn't such a stimulus to gun sales.
Nice to see you posting, laomei...
If the government didn't secretly keep track of all the guns there could be mass shootings going on in this country!
Resident to resident private sales are legal in many states.
No gun show or background check necessary.
Some guns get resold a dozen times by dealers as well as privately. Good luck with that.
What the magic-negro-wanna-be-constitutional-butcher is trying to figure out is how to add the INTRASTATE PRIVATE COMMERCE CLAUSE to the federal constituion by executive order. This won't end at guns if they succeed. The extent to which a State government can regulate intra-state commerce and private transactions is a function of the respective State constituion.
First,
Realize that if they will take your means of self defense without otherwise any crime, then they will likewise take all your other property, including your life.
Second,
Realize that there is no reason for them to disarm those they have no reason to fear.
Inasmuch as you've done no violence, try to think of the reason.
Third,
Understand that the sooner you decide to ACTIVELY say no, to organize for physical resistance, the less likely it will be to come to that.
They have nothing that can overcome 100+ million armed citizens who have organized to say no.
Saying no from Moms basement and saying no with our own blood are two different things.......
It takes time and resources to mobilise such a force. You will not be surprised to know that population surveillance is a very high priority in the US, and any hints of such "insurrection" will be quashed very quickly.
Whilst there may be some who ARE willing to go the whole mile, the "Ruling Elite" know from past experience that "setting an example" - show trials, deliberate slander, are very effective in "managing" popular opinion.
If things become too "uncomfortable" escalation to "State of Emergency" and / or "Martial Law" will be very likely outcomes, and those who depend on Uncle Scam for their daily bread will tend to "follow orders", since they will already have had the "consequences" of "disobedience" explained to them - in graphic detail.
All governments have always feared anyone who can think for themselves.
The good news is that they hired a bunch of H-1B visa holders to do their programming.
Nelson Mandela was a terrorist.
js
if anyone thought the record of you buying a gun at cabelas was erased x number of days after purchase because of some law...you are an idiot. of course the gov kept a record....
Same thing with any Facebook or social media posts. The terrorist supposedly did a private message on Facebook praising ISIS. How did the FBI get a 'private' Facebook message that was deleted?
Sayyyy whaaaaat? Damn that boating accident...
If you have a concealed carry permit you're on the list. If you buy ammo with a credit card you're on the list. If you buy a hunting license you're on the list. If you check out the Gander Mountain or Cabella's website you're on the list.
All of your purchase history, browsing history, medical history, tax history, banking history, motor vehicle history, real estate history, legal history, etc. is stored on the NSA database cross referenced by your SSN.
The two AR-15's in San Bernardino were supposedly bought out of state and 'given' to the terrorists. Logically that must be true since they cannot buy them in California. However, if the FBI traces them, it implies that they have the records!
AR-15 pattern rifles are legal to purchase in California.
http://www.calguns.net/caawid/flowchart.pdf
So what? Fuck them and their lists. They are only worth a damn if you fear the government. I own guns. I acknowledge the feds have them too. I acknowledge that the feds do not recognize limits on their power. Hopefully, they will recognize that there are very many people who will not recognize limits on their right to self defense and, when pushed too far, will exercise that right against any and all agents of despotism who seek to wield their power unlawfully.
Imagine what Hillary will do for gun sales? Man o man
Register of legally purchased guns - OK
Register of Syrian refugees, suspected terrorists, or illegal immigrants - Horrors!
Something is wrong...
Math Time!
300 Million Guns in America
Roughly 5 Million Armed Forces/Police
100 Million Owners...
Can someone explain to me how 5% of the population is going to take it all? The second it starts....200 Million "extra" guns can be given to the people to stop the govt...and this is all if the 5 Million Feds go along with it...
Genies out of the bottle kids....
The same way 1.5 million Germans wiped out 2 million Russians in a month. Operation Barbarossa... They know where they are going to hit, and you don't.
Totally irrelevant. Different war, time, offensive and the Russians inevitably won the whole war.
Don't be so certain of that. We have Spies. 95% of the people working for the government are not "officers". They are not bosses, they don't make policy, and most of the time they don't LIKE policy or agree with it. And when decisions are made that they don't like, they go home and TALK. Word like that gets around, more easily now that we have internet. Ed Snowdon and Chesea Manning weren't the only ones who spilled lots of government beans, they're just the ones who did it in huge, public data dumps. Plenty of trial balloons and intended operations have been pulled back and disavowed because the Conspiracy Theorists started talking about them. For instance, the little plot The Shrub had to declare a National Emergency and remain President-For-Life was a near thing -- the concentration camps had already been prepared for the inevitable "dissidents".
But We The People have Spies. Because government is a huge operation, and it can't work without workers. And those workers are US.
I live in USA. American Flags are flying in front of many homes 24/7. ObamaCull and the modification program that wasn't woke up the Sleeping Giant.
If you have any doubts as to how tightly the media is controlled try to find a single news story that reports that the California shooters getaway vehicle was a FORD EXPLORER.
It's alarming that this level of control exists.
The Big Six Media Monopoly are a willing and eager partner of the Federal government. That's the quid pro quo they pledged to the Federal government in allowing them to become Crony Capitalist monopolies. The Big Six Media Monopoly cannot be trusted. They are against the interests of the American People.
You don't fight for country, you fight for your family... Sonny in the Godfather.
"AGGREGATION"
I worked as a design consultant for one of the largest computer technology companies, on every kind of project and system in government and business globally, so I am speaking of real experience.
This is how AGGREGATION works:
ALL of the systems, government and business, that ask for information to identify an individual for purposes of providing any kind of service, collects and stores (as in KEEPS) ALL of the data that is involved in the transaction, and I mean KEEPS ALL THE DATA, even if the service that you are requesting is denied or otherwise not provided.
Then ALL systems either sell that data to others for further AGGREGATION, or they themselves combine the data that they have collected with ALL the other data that they can gather through licensing agreements, purchases, sharing agreements (especially common with government organizations) to AGGREGATE as complete a data set on every individual as possible. This data is worth BIG $$$$.
The largest and most valuable data collections are owned by Experian, Equifax and Transunion.
One of the Laws that I live by is that I do not give my SSN to anyone other than IRS, Social Security Admin, my banks and my brokerages - *NEVER* to any other kind of business or government organization. Cops stopped me once and asked me for it and I refused, gave them my out-of-state driver's license only. If you give out your SSN, you are tracked even more closely than with military-grade GPS.
I have some bad news for you. Your SSN is in more databases than you realize.
I refused to give it to get utilities turned on when I moved to another state. The service guy got so of my other info, such as name and previous address and then told me what it was.
A insurance agent that I was friends with also did the same thing.
This stuff really pisses me off.
I would love to sue Experian and the other credit agencies to force them to purge MY data.
Why didn't you just make up a SSN? I always do. Never had a problem.
If whoever you are giving the false SSN to is doing a lookup, then they will find that the false SSN you gave does not match your records.
You are correct. However, knowing how the system works, ie designed to vacuum up, correlate and aggregate every piece of data encountered, I designed and injected transactions with invalid and corrupt data about me, including SSN, into the databases operated by the 3 core aggregators/violators. There are ramifications to this, for which I developed adequate work-arounds, but these privacy violators no longer have valid/accurate data on the real me :-))
The EU Constitution has a clause which provides the "right" to data privacy, ie you can demand that businesses reveal what data they have on you and you can demand that they destroy it. In the USA, the partnership initiated between business and government under the first Drug Tzar has been expanded to the point that there is no longer any practical difference between corporate and business databases on residents, and you not only have no "right" to privacy, but are actually prohibited by federal law from having privacy. Also, the companies that have your data actually legally own that data, eg your name, address, SSN, DOB, etc - not YOU - it is their legal property, not yours.
PS Look up FINCEN. If data exists ANYWHERE, then FINCEN has immediate unrestricted access to it, and the collectors and repositories are protected from lawsuits and required to provide the data, BY FEDERAL LAW.
You can thank Bill Bennett and Bush v1 for getting this started.
That's because these reporters have no a clue.
They do not know that this information is not supposed to be tracked.
The few that do are very likely proponents of tracking it.
Watch the movie Red Dawn. The original, not that remake turd. The Russki advisors go right to the gun stores and courthouse to pull gun records 1st thing after they gain control. Then they start door to door to collect. Just as our govt wants to do. Of course they have and keep records. Why anyone would think otherwise boggle my mind. Somewhere buried deep under a mountain is a database of every gun transaction from the Colt et. al. factory to the last person who legally bought it. If you were delayed or turned down on the gun check they have that in the database as well. I don't particularly care. Sold all my shit at a yard sale.
Lucky you, Lost every gun I had in a boating accident up on Lake Huron.
Anyone who joins the NRA is registered.
They tried the gun registration scam in Canada and it didn't work. The government admitted that they had, at best, 50% compliance. They finaly scrapped it. The fruit we have for a PM now may try it again but I doubt he will.
They scrapped enforcement, but not the law. So anytime they don't like someone and they have a gun, they can snatch them up.
Give me a break. When they start going door to door, eventually they are going to run out of breathing ATF members. The citizens of the USA will prevail.
Just like it happened in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, right?
For all our sakes, get your head OUT of your ass.
Bunch of Israeli guys in the OC will sell gun kits to anybody, Mexican mafia cartel guys, kids, crackheads, anybody.
Legal, no records, no serial numbers.

What the Feds have is a record of your background check and where it was called in from. The dealer who called it in has a form with the details of what you bought. The Feds can review these records without notice. If the dealer goes out of business, the feds get the records. We are screwed
