Alleged Terrorist With Machete In London Subway Slashes Man's Throat Screaming "This Is For Syria"
Less than a week after the San Bernardino shooting, the ghost of ISIS terrorism has finally landed in London, where moments ago news broke that a man wileding a machete screamed "this is for Syria" before slashing a person's throat at London's Leytonstone subway station, and attacking up to three people.
The following video of the incident was released on Twitter hours ago, and shows a large pool of blood spattered across the ticket hall before the alleged knifeman is Tasered by a Met Police officer.

As the Telegraph reports, police were called to Leytonstone station after reports of a stabbing in the ticket hall on Saturday at around 7pm. The alleged assailant was promptly tasered by police at the scene.
Terrified passengers, some with children, can be seen running across the east London Tube station away from the scene.
For the rest of today, no service btn Liverpool St and Woodford / Newbury Park due to a police investigation. Severe delays on rest of line.

As recounted by the Guardian, one person, who claims to have witnessed the attack, took to social media to reveal details of the horror.
Laurynas Godvisa said: “So as I was going to Leytonstone station was dressed to go to Christmas dinner with people from work.
“As I walked down I just saw a lot of people running but I ignored it and kept walking to get my train, but suddenly what I saw I couldn’t believe my eyes and what I saw was a guy with a knife and a dead guy on the floor.
“I was so scared I ran for my life. After good 10-15 police came and got the guy and arrested him.
“And as he was coming out this is what he said: ‘This is what happens when you f*** with mother Syria all of your blood will be spilled’.”
A Met Police spokesman confirmed the incident saying that "Police were called at 19:06hrs on Saturday, 5 December, to reports of a stabbing at Leytonstone underground station. The male suspect was reportedly threatening other people with a knife.
"Met officers attended the scene. A man was arrested at 19:14hrs and taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. A Taser was discharged by one of the Met officers."
"Officers from British Transport Police are now dealing with the incident at the scene. We are aware of one man having sustained serious stab injuries. We await details of any other injuries."

So far there is little news on the condition of the victim of the attack: one victim is in a serious condition with multiple stab wounds and it is believed up to two others may also have been injured.
A spokeswoman from London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7:09pm to reports of an assault at Leytonstone underground station We sent a number of resources to the including our joint response unit, an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and London's Air Ambulance to the scene. We treated a man for stab wounds. He was taken as a priority to hospital escorted by the doctor from London's Air Ambulance."
And while it is only a matter of time before a "terrorist" link is found in this latest attack meant to put another western country on edge and to justify the UK's recent launch of air strikes against ISIS, we wonder if there will be a front page op-ed in a leading liberal UK newspaper tomorrow demanding that all machetes be henceforth banned even as local TV crews stream live from the home of the alleged terrorist.

I agree. Islam is incompatible with Western society. Sure, you can put a few muslims into a Western community and it will work fine, but you cannot have a large community of them and expect them to follow Western norms. Thanks for the links. I only read a bit 8:11 - 8:14. It seems like most of the violence was reserved for Allah. Mischief making (could be anything from denigrating the religion to making war against believers) should be met with violence by the believers on the offenders.
I think the Bible has similar passages. I don't read much of any religious text but didn't the Bible stress that vengeance is the Lord's domain. Defense or retaliation for direct injury in the Bible seems to parallel what I just read in the Koran.

when i found out about that, i couldn't quite believe it. gave me the shivers. there's probably nothing to it...probably just my over-active imagination -- but i felt strongly compelled to mention it -- and that's because of what happened last night.

janus pays attention to his surroundings, and when something doesn't pass the smell test i take note. and there was an episode in which i was involved last night that recalled to mind chestnut hill's peculiar security arrangement and all that's swirling with isis and 'someone'.
late last night/early this morning, janus was parked along a curb in downtown boston, and, i shit y'all not, i was no more that 50 meters south of "cheers" -- yes, 'that' cheers -- when all of a sudden this sub-compact comes barreling through the intersection, bashes against a curb, loses a wheel and comes grinding to a halt directly in front of cheers, and about 50 meters in front of where janus was parked.
i got out and trotted up to check and make sure everyone was okay. involved in the accident were two 20 something arab youth (almost certainly saudis...i'm familiar with the saudi accent). they were in a jolly mood, and so i handed them the remains of their wheel and tire. being an uber driver, i naturally offered them a ride home. they accepted and so i trotted back to the prius to pull up and take them home.
while i was gone they called the tow truck (as i advised) and, apparantly, two more saudis in their twenties. when they got in my prius, i asked if they left the door locked...they said they did...i told them to go unlock it and leave the keys in the visor. when they got out to do this, another car with two 20 something saudis pulled up and both got out to chat with their friends.
now, of these two new saudis, there was one in particular who struck me as the leader. he was, unlike the others, serious minded...and, if i may insert my instinct, this guy had spent some time in the military or 'security' services (had the cold/steel eye) -- i'm almost certain of it. the others responded to him with alacrity, and he eyed me suspiciously...he definitely piqued my attention because, most saudis that you meet in boston are from very wealthy families and are not especially tough.
now, one more detail really stood out with all this. right before i trotted back to the prius and before the two others arrived, the smaller of the two saudis started pissing right on the street in front of traffic. i snapped at him sharply, "don't do that shit, man! you're fucking drunk...the cops will pop you for dui and indecency." he looked back at me with supreme confidence and said, "naw, man, nothings gonna happen with us" and they both laughed knowingly.
the first two got in the car with the second two and i drove off. but i couldn't shake the memory. something about it just stuck with me. and, look, it's far more than the narrative being played out right now...i meet saudis every other day. but this...it was strange -- my spidey senses were tingling, let's say. and i can still see the glint in that dude's eye as he's pissing on the street. he seemed to be VERY confident he could escape trouble. and then with their little commander?
like i was saying...just wanted to put that out there. and, unfortunately, this is probably going to get me some unwanted attention.
shit's gettin real...really bizarre and obliquely fake...but here's where the bizzaro becomes all too real. i just don't know quite what to make of all this shit...never really did; but now it's taken on proportions and an episodic frequency that's starting to freak me out.

As long as I've been alive, the West in general and the US in partiular, has fucked around in that part of the world with absolutely no success.
