President Obama Explains Why Taking Away Americans' Guns Will Make Them All Safer - Live Feed

Tyler Durden's picture

The best gun salesman in America is about to explain how he - and his administration alone - will 'fix' the new un-normal rash of mass shootings, terrorist-attacks, murders, and general civil disorder by continuing down the path of stricter, tighter, confiscation-er gun control laws. As we previewed earlier President Obama wasted no time to launch this impromptu address to the nation at 8:00 pm on the "threat of terrorism and keeping the American people safe." Administration staff confirmed that the president will specifically call on Congress to review certain gun control measures.

Translation: another surge in gun sales is imminent as fears of gun confiscation rise to unprecedented heights.

So, what will Obama say?  In an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press," Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave advance hints about the remarks President Barack Obama will make when he speaks to the country Sunday evening about the recent terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

"What you're going to hear from him is a discussion about what government is doing to ensure all of our highest priority - the protection of the American people," the attorney general said.

Lynch's staff later confirmed that the president will specifically call on Congress to review certain gun control measures.

And since Congress has long ago given up on taking action in a world in which the Fed's Chairman/woman is expected to "get to work", it will again be up to an Obama executive order to restore peace to the land by continuing his crusade against the Second amendment.

In short, the latest steps in Obama's crusade to disarm the US and make even legal purchases of guns as difficult as possible, even though limiting the legal means of purchasing guns will have absolutely no impact on gun violence in the US - for the perpetual case study, see Chicago. That, however, does not mean that Obama won't try or succeed... and tonight's speech is likely to be a strawman of what his executive order will look like.

*  *  *

President Obama is due to speak at 8pm ET (as a perfect prelude to Sunday Night Football)...

Just a few things to note:

Dangerous, Phony 'Gun-Control'-Logic Strikes Again

There's No Correlation Between Gun Ownership, Mass Shootings, & Murder Rates

Gun Control: Fashionable Prohibition For Modern Lawmakers

And finally, as Free Beacon previously noted:

Gun rights activists have pointed to Democrats’ calls for new gun control measures as one reason why gun sales have increased. Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has said that the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment, that Australian style mandatory gun buybacks should be considered in the United States, and that she would implement new gun control through executive action.

“Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are the best gun salespeople on the planet. The more they scream for new gun control laws the more guns walk off the shelves at gun stores,” said Alan Gottlieb, the head of the Second Amendment Foundation. “To quote the lyrics of Peter, Paul and Mary, ‘When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn.’”

The biggest irony, however, as we reported previously, is that "homicide rates have been cut in half over past 20 years as new gun ownership soared."

So thanks Obama: courtesy of your inept approach to resolving every social issue not to mention your naive, recurring attempts to uproot the Second Amendment, you are making the US safer one teleprompted, faux-emotional speech at a time. Granted, everyone knows that was not your intention, but the public will take whatever it can.

So what changed? Why did Americans suddenly start getting more interested in guns in and around the end of 2008?

There is at least two clear winners from Obama's repeated attempts to enforce gun control are shown in the chart below...

And finally:

Here's What Happened When Venezuela Imposed Gun Control Laws

Naw, they can control the blacks just fine. They get them all riled up so they can scare the white man with them, nothing more.

The Muslims are just to put a different angle on their propaganda of fear. It's all really just bullshit. The thugs using other thugs to scare people into obeying.

That is literally all this is. One thug trying to push other thugs into the area to scare the Europeans into fearing the first thugs. Everyone knows who is responsible intrinsically. They just don't know what to do about it, and with that knowledge and lack of decisivness the pot gets turned up to a slow boil.

To elevate gun control to a spot this high on the national agenda is naive.

Consider (in no particular order):

o  Trillions in debt public and private worldwide.

o  A moribund economy

o  Possible WW III brewing in the Mideast and the Pacific

o  America's continuing "black problem"

o  Fukushima and nuclear power

o Crumbling infrastructure and the "national grid".

o  Militarization of America's police.

o  The corruption of science and academia.

But this is all trumped by a few hundred "mass assault" deaths?  And most of those incidents are clearly fake?

I'll add another bullet point:

o  The real agenda behind "gun control".

it is an interesting point to make - gun control is not anywhere near the top of the list when most people are asked what their priorities are. And those who desire gun control do so a lot less fervently than those who oppose it. The other thing most people don't care about - the global warming nonsense - is the other thing he pushes hard on.

Congress should do what he wants and get proactive about "gun control". They should pass a blanket "shall issue" law and mandatory reciprocity between states. That'd screw Obama good.

Obama will probably rehash the same gun control agenda that the liberals tried to exploit when President Reagan and Jim Brady were shot

Legislation like the Brady Bill ignored the fact that violence unfortunately has been a fact of life long before firearms were invented. Outlawing guns does not prevent violence, but it does prevent smaller, older, disabled or less powerful persons from effectively defending themselves against larger and stronger attackers.

Outlawing guns does not prevent violence,

In a world of great uncertainty, THREE things are 110% certain which this debate has highlighted--

1. while gun ownership and gun sports remain a pasttime of a minority of people, polticians will see gun owners as an easy "whipping boy" whenever they're under pressure from liberals and other shallow-thinkers to JUST DO SOMETHING whenever gun-related crime makes the headlines

2. politicians use fear and bribery (i.e. using our money to buy our votes) to further their careers

3. after gun-ownership by citizens is effectively banned, liberals won't on their laurels. They will move on to the next item in their social engineering, "we-know-whats-good-for-you-because-we-are-superior-to-you" agenda. It's their missionary zeal that drives this mentality.

There is no chance in hell of passing gun control laws.

Talking with a friend, he thought there is a chance 'the liberals' want to start a rebellion, then run in the army to round up all the guns.  Same as starting a civil war, of course.

I would have ruled that out, but somethng like that is end-game for the Israeli-neocons, I don't think we are there yet. OTOH, pretty clear what the combination is, gun-control for the left and Muslims on the right.  Do a big false-flag of Muslims with guns, and they have all bases of propaganda covered.

Patriots, better stop hating Muslims, your rulers will use every hate against you.

People of the Status Quo, better stop believing without critical thought, your rulers will use every false belief against you.

'Israel’s dominant role in formulating US Middle East policy is largely a product of its success at recruiting, socializing, and motivating overseas Jews to act as an organized force to intervene in US politics and push Israel’s agenda.

What motivates American Jews, who have been raised and educated in the US, to serve Israel? After all, these are individuals who have prospered, achieved high status and occupy the highest positions of prestige and responsibility. Why would they parrot the policies of Israel and follow the dictates of Israeli leaders (a foreign regime), serving its violent colonial, racist agenda?

What binds a majority of highly educated and privileged Jews to the most rabidly right-wing Israeli regime in history – a relationship they actually celebrate?

What turns comfortable, prosperous American Jews into vindictive bullies, willing and able to blackmail, threaten, and punish any dissident voices among their Gentile and Jewish compatriots who have dared to criticize Israel?

What prevents many intelligent, liberal, and progressive Jews from openly questioning Israel’s agenda, and especially confronting the role of Zionist zealots who serve as Tel Aviv’s fifth column against the interest of the United States?

There are numerous historical and personal factors that can and should be taken into account to understand this phenomenon.

In this essay I am going to focus on one – the ideology that ‘Jews are a superior people’. The notion that Jews, either through some genetic, biologic, cultural, historical, familial and/or upbringing, have special qualities allowing them to achieve at a uniquely higher level than the ‘inferior’ non-Jews.

We will proceed by sketching the main outline of the Jewish supremacist ideology and then advance our critique.

We will conclude by evaluating the negative consequences of this ideology and propose a democratic alternative.' ....

http://dissidentvoice.org/2015/09/the-doctrine-of-superior-people/

Engler’s latest article describes a march in Toronto organized by Canada’s main Jewish organizations, who defended Israel’s recent campaign of mass murder in Gaza. They claimed they were opposing “anti-Semitism”, which they say is a variant of “racism”. Engler’s critique is to argue that, far from being against racism, the march was “little more than a group of ‘white’ people calling for the further subjugation of ‘brown’ folk.”

It’s true that Canadian Jews are pallid, and Palestinians are somewhat tanned. But Israel isn’t carrying out the genocide of the Palestinians because Jews are of lighter tint, rather because Palestinians aren’t Jewish, and happened to be located where Israel was created. If the Palestinians were blond, they could hardly expect better treatment.

Engler himself gives the evidence for this: “Approximately 93 percent of land was in the public domain, including approximately 12.5 percent owned by the NGO Jewish National Fund (JNF), whose statutes prohibit sale or lease of land to non-Jews.” (my emphasis)

From this explicit description of anti-gentile racial discrimination, he concludes “In Israel, as in Canada, Jewish/white privilege is a much greater social problem than anti-Semitism. It’s time to check that privilege.”

‘Jewish/white privilege’ is even less of a problem than anti-Semitism. Whereas the latter has almost disappeared, the former has never existed. Since white supremacy has been retreating since the battle of Gettysburg, and Jewish supremacy is as powerful as ever, the latter cannot be a subset of the former. The ADL has considerably more influence than the KKK.

If you try hard enough, you can always find white extremists expressing racialist views somewhere in North America. The supporters of Darren Wilson, the white cop who killed an unarmed black teenager in St. Louis, raised half a million dollars for his defense, some of them made offensive comments, and the anti-racist left made the most of it. Yes, there are still some prejudiced white Europeans.

But in terms of money and power, nothing comes close to Jewish supremacy. The USA sends Israel over eight million dollars per day. Every politician grovels. The secretary of state apologizes every time he mildly criticizes Israel, for example, when he said that it is in danger of becoming an apartheid state.

“Why does a demonstration of hundreds of people against ‘anti-Semitism’ in Toronto seem more like a march for white supremacy than a rally against racism?” asks Engler.

Why does it seem like that to him? Because he subscribes to the dominant trend in North American leftism – a trend which denies the importance of the Israel Lobby, which claims that support for Israel is “US imperialism”, and that white supremacy is still the most important form of racialism in the Western world. This has consequences for how we oppose it. If we defend Engler’s conception ‘Jewish/white privilege’, we imply that support for Israel benefits the white majority population of Western countries.

If, on the other hand, we believe that Jewish racial supremacy is opposed to the interests of almost everyone, we will say so. We will attempt to undermine support for Israel by arguing that it only benefits a small minority. We will not be afraid of exposing the Lobby, Jewish ownership of the media, etc.. We will argue that Palestine solidarity is not just morally right, but rational self-interest.

US has dropped 20,000 bombs on Syria in an illegal war that has killed 300,000, injured over 1,000,000 and created over 4 million refugees in the Nobel Prize Winner's illegal war in Syria.  Those numbers will be simply ignored by the free and fair Western media.

Another lie is that terrorists did 9/11 when it is quite clear it was an inside job.

If the Nobel Prize Winner ever speaks the truth, it is by mistake.

Anyone who has examined the 9/11 event closely knows that it was an inside job.  Your own government is terrorizing you all the time, but that is what happens in a fascist, police state.  Fear is the key to control the populace.  Hence the eternal war on terror as terror can never surrender:

Ex-Italian President: Intel Agencies Know 9/11 An Inside Job

Man who blew the whistle on Gladio tells Italy's largest newspaper attacks were run by CIA, Mossad

Former Italian President and the man who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, Francesco Cossiga, has gone public on 9/11, telling Italy’s most respected newspaper that the attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad and that this was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.

Cossiga was elected President of Italian Senate in July 1983 before being winning a landslide 1985 election to become President of the country in 1985.

Cossiga gained respect from opposition parties as one of a rare breed – an honest politician – and led the country for seven years until April 1992.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/ex-italian-president-intel-agencies-know-9-...

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

H. L. Mencken

Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has published an article demonstrating that the US government and President Barack Obama knowingly lied when they claimed that the Syrian government had carried out a sarin gas attack on insurgent-held areas last August.

Another lie is that terrorists did 9/11 when it is quite clear it was an inside job.

It was painfully clear the moment it happened. For a building to collapse like that, it has to be cut from below. The idea that it was cut from above reverses the law of physics.

As an engineer, it was obvious to me. Regretfully, I've gotten nowhere explaining this to lay acquaintances. The official account is more palatable.

Yes, when the roof of a building falls at the same rate as a brick released from that same height (i.e. the free fall rate) then there can be no momentum transfer between the underlying floors and vertical support beams (conservation of energy).  All the kinetic energy is gained due to the loss of potential gravitational energy as it collapses without any energy dissipation due to friction between floors.  But how to avoid momentum transfer?  Take out first the ground floor, then the next floor etc all the way up to the roof, in sequence.  Then everything can descend to earth at the gravitation free fall rate.  A common way to acheive this:  timed demolition.  Like the "climate scientists", they hope no one understands elementary physics and will simply "believe the experts"

Autumn 1992: Influential Neoconservative Academic Advocates Breaking Up Middle Eastern Countries, Including Iraq

Princeton University professor Bernard Lewis publishes an article in the influential journal Foreign Affairs called “Rethinking the Middle East.” In it, he advocates a policy he calls “Lebanonization.” He says, “[A] possibility, which could even be precipitated by [Islamic] fundamentalism, is what has late been fashionable to call ‘Lebanonization.’ Most of the states of the Middle East—Egypt is an obvious exception—are of recent and artificial construction and are vulnerable to such a process. If the central power is sufficiently weakened, there is no real civil society to hold the polity together, no real sense of common identity.… Then state then disintegrates—as happened in Lebanon—into a chaos of squabbling, feuding, fighting sects, tribes, regions, and parties.” Lewis, a British Jew, is well known as a longtime supporter of the Israeli right wing.

Since the 1950s, he has argued that the West and Islam have been engaged in a titanic “clash of civilizations” and that the US should take a hard line against all Arab countries. Lewis is considered a highly influential figure to the neoconservative movement, and some neoconservatives such as Richard Perle and Harold Rhode consider him a mentor. In 1996, Perle and others influenced by Lewis will write a paper for right wing Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu entitled “A Clean Break” that advocates the “Lebanonization” of countries like Iraq and Syria (see July 8, 1996).

Lewis will remain influential after 9/11. For instance, he will have dinner with Vice President Cheney shortly before the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. Some will later suspect that Cheney and others were actually implementing Lewis’s idea by invading Iraq. Chas Freeman, former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, will say in May 2003, just after the invasion, “The neoconservatives’ intention in Iraq was never to truly build democracy there. Their intention was to flatten it, to remove Iraq as a regional threat to Israel.”

http://www.voltairenet.org/article178638.html

The recommendations to the Israeli government to sabotage the peace process in Palestine are presented by the authors of Clean Break as part of a larger plan to allow Israel to “shape its strategic environment”, by “removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq”, weakening Syria and Lebanon, and finally Iran. When Perle, Feith and Wurmser moved to key positions in the U.S. government, they arranged for the United States to implement the program themselves, without Israel having to pay a single drop of blood. If there are differences between the Clean Break report written for the Israeli government in 1996 and the report Rebuilding America’s Defenses written by the same authors for the U.S. government in 2000, it is not in the program itself, but rather the argued reasons. First, Clean Break does not have Iraq as a threat, but as the weakest of the enemies of Israel, the least dangerous and the easiest to break. In a follow-up to Clean Break, entitled Coping with Crumbling States: A Western and Israeli Balance of Power Strategy for the Levant, Wurmser emphasizes the fragility of Middle East States, particularly Iraq: “the residual unity of the nation is an illusion projected by extreme repression of the state”. Thus the same action of first overthrowing Saddam is recommended to Israel and the United States, but for opposite reasons. The weakness of Iraq, which is the reason for Israel, does not constitute a valid reason for the United States; and so it was therefore necessary to present Iraq to the Americans as a mortal threat to their country. Netanyahu himself authored an article in the Wall Street Journal in September 2002, under the title “The Case for Toppling Saddam”, describing Saddam as “a dictator who is rapidly expanding his arsenal of biological and chemical weapons, who has used these weapons of mass destruction against his subjects and his neighbors, and who is feverishly trying to acquire nuclear weapons”. Nothing of such a threat, however, is mentioned in Israeli internal documents, which also make no mention of any further connection between Iraq and Al-Qaeda, nor even Al-Qaeda in general. The perspective on Iraq in Clean Break was the realistic one, while the motives given America was pure propaganda: by the time American troops moved into Iraq, the country had been ruined by a decade of economic sanctions that had not only rendered its army powerless, but also destroyed its once exemplary education and health care systems, taking the lives, according to UNICEF, of half a million children.

When one refers to "islamic terrorists" one is actually referring to those who take the Koran seriously in all its directives. One would have to ignore certain portions of the Koran to be a truly peaceful Moslem. So the real radical Moslems are those who truly wish to live in harmony with those of other religions.

So, once the authorities can take away the rights of those that they have put on watch lists (Ron Paul supporters, civil rights attorneys and their children, people who tax protest, "conspiracy theorists", "anti-muslim activists") then they effectively pick and chose who can have a gun.  That's a sneaky trick.

Funny story about that. Post-reconstruction, Southern governments made a point of forbidding freedmen from carrying guns to make it harder for the freedmen to settle scores with white men, rape white women, and engage in organized terrorism against whites. White militias were organized in many states to ensure the laws were enforced. They were effective for many decades.

Gun control does work as advertised if applied strictly to people who genuinely are a danger to themselves and other if allowed to carry them---feral Africans, known communists and Muslims, the criminally insane of all races and creeds.

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/10/12/us-caught-faking-it-in-syria/

The great danger of faking your ability to do something in the public square is that someone with an actual desire to the job you are pretending to do might come along and show you up.

This is what has just happened to the US in Syria with the entrance of Russia into the fight against ISIL.

And as is generally the case with posers caught with their pants down, the US policy elites are not happy about it.

You see, the US strategic goal in Syria is not as your faithful mainstream media servants (led by that redoubtable channeler of Neo-Con smokescreens at the NYT Michael Gordon) might have you believe to save the Syrian people from the ravages of the long-standing Assad dictatorship, but rather to heighten the level of internecine conflict in that country to the point where it will not be able to serve as a bulwark against Israeli regional hegemony for at least another generation.

How do we know? Because important protagonists in the Israelo-American policy planning elite have advertised the fact with a surprising degree of clarity in documents and public statements issued over the last several decades.

The key here is learning to listen to what our cultural training has not prepared us to hear.

In 1982, as the Likud Party (which is to say, the institutional incarnation of the Revisionist Zionist belief, first articulated by Jabotinsky in the ”Iron Wall” that the only way to deal with “the Arabs” in and around Israel was through unrelenting force and the inducement of cultural fragmentation) was consolidating its hold on the foreign policy establishment of Israel, a journalist named Oded Yinon, who had formerly worked at the Israeli Foreign Ministry, published an article in which he outlined the strategic approach his country needed to take in the coming years.

What follows are some excerpts from Israel Shahak’s English translation of that text:

“Lebanon’s total dissolution into five provinces serves as a precedent for the entire Arab world including Egypt, Syria, Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula and is already following that track. The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unique areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel’s primary target on the Eastern front in the long run, while the dissolution of the military power of those states serves as the primary short term target. Syria will fall apart, in accordance with its ethnic and religious structure, into several states such as in present day Lebanon….”

“Iraq, rich in oil on the one hand and internally torn on the other, is guaranteed as a candidate for Israel’s targets. Its dissolution is even more important for us than that of Syria. Iraq is stronger than Syria. In the short run it is Iraqi power which constitutes the greatest threat to Israel. An Iraqi-Iranian war will tear Iraq apart and cause its downfall at home even before it is able to organize a struggle on a wide front against us. Every kind of inter-Arab confrontation will assist us in the short run and will shorten the way to the more important aim of breaking up Iraq into denominations as in Syria and in Lebanon. In Iraq, a division into provinces along ethnic/religious lines as in Syria during Ottoman times is possible. So, three (or more) states will exist around the three major cities: Basra, Baghdad and Mosul, and Shi’ite areas in the south will separate from the Sunni and Kurdish north.”

“If Egypt falls apart, countries like Libya, Sudan, or even the more distant states will not continue to exist in their present form and will join the downfall and dissolution of Egypt.

“There is no chance that Jordan will continue to exist in its present structure for a long time, and Israel’s policy, both in war and in peace, ought to be directed at the liquidation of Jordan under the present regime and the transfer of power to the Palestinian majority.”

Yinon’s vision reappeared in the now infamous “Clean Break” document from 1996, authored by a consortium of US and Israeli “strategic thinkers” that included Richard Perle, Douglas Feith and David and Meyrav Wurmser, which was meant to serve as a foreign policy blueprint for the first administration of Benjamin Netanyahu.

The text is nothing if not obsessive regarding the need to seriously debilitate Syria’s ability to act in any way is a pole of regional influence in the in the area .

“Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq – an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right – as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.”

“Most important, it is understandable that Israel has an interest supporting diplomatically, militarily and operationally Turkey’s and Jordan’s actions against Syria, such as securing tribal alliances with Arab tribes that cross into Syrian territory and are hostile to the Syrian ruling elite.”

And as Dan Sanchez has recently shown, David Wurmser went into even greater detail about the need to balkanize Israel’s northeastern neighbor in articles published in approximately the same time period, talking quite openly in one essay about “expediting the chaotic collapse“ of Baathist Syria.

Then there is Wesley Clark’s famous interview, given in 2007, in which he revealed the true strategic aims of those running US foreign policy in the wake of the September 11th attacks. In it, he tells of a conversation he had at that time with a Pentagon official who admitted that the real plan was “to attack and destroy the governments in seven countries in five years”.

Those countries, according to Clark, were: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iraq. In the same speech, he explicitly ties the hatching of the plan to Richard Perle, head of the cadre of people who wrote in the “Clean Break” document of the paramount importance of putting Israel in position to “shape its strategic environment”.

On September 5th, 2013, Alon Pinkas, the former Israeli Consul General in New York and well-connected member of Tel Aviv’s conservative policy elite described the Syrian conflict in the following terms in the New York Times:

“This is a playoff situation in which you need both teams to lose, but at least you don’t want one to win – we’ll settle for a tie,….Let them both bleed, hemorrhage to death: that’s the strategic thinking here. As long as this lingers, there’s no real threat from Syria.”

I don’t think it can get much clearer than that. The US-Israeli plan in Syria has never been about helping anyone in that country, but rather insuring its effective dismemberment so as to further the perceived “strategic interests” of the Jewish state.

As Tomás Alcoverro, the longtime Mideast correspondent of Barcelona’s La Vanguardia newspaper wrote on 9 October 2015, in reference to the combined Russian and Syrian government attacks carried out during the previous week: “If this joint offensive is successful, the US plan for continuing the war of attrition until both sides are exhausted will lie in ruins”.

Yes, the US and Israelis, have been “faking it” in Syria for a good long time now. And Putin has come along and called their bluff.

And they are not happy about it. Which is why the ongoing campaign of demonization against the Russian leader is being ratcheted up – if that’s possible – to still higher levels of intelligence-insulting hyperbole.

Obama helps create the problem but is preying on democrats who think his shit approach is better just because he isn't sending 150,000 troops into a different set of 'dumb war'.

Obama, still not serious about our War OF terror.  Saudi's, banks, and clandestine support. That's what supports terrorism.  Drone bombs, illegal wars, and out and out idiocy... that's what supports it on the other side.

We'll succeed on the right side of history????  Cue the Gilbert nerd laugh from Revenge of the Nerds.

We haven't met any challenge since 9/11.  Just bent over for warmongers, wall street, and the people who funded....or lobbied for it all.

Fucking Glass-Steagall and sane banking and bombing action people.

Hello Fucknob Obama,

Watching you on FOX news.

Why haven't you released the list of illegal immigrants that have flooded this country. Your motivation is to flood democrats to receive illegal votes.

The FBI is still investigation Hillary Clinton.

We reject you as a Presidential Leader Obama. Our country will die to protect this country. You are a Marxist disaster.

This fucker doesn't know about ISIS or ISIL.

He knows esactly what ISIL is that is why he calls them ISIL. He has help destabalize and turn over much of ME to ISIS so abu bak al-baghdadi can fulfill the rebuilding of the caliphate tha the first abu bakr tried to do but was turned by by Pope Clement. Dear Leader wants the bound of Sykes Pecot removed and there to be 1 ME ruled by the brotherhood.

Obama just said, "Let's not forget what makes us exceptional."  He finally said it.  We are exceptional?  Or just the effeminate ruling class?  I guess his speechwriters read the criticisms.

What a disastrous presidency, which isn't over.

For me the big takeaway besides the no fly list bullshit was his call for CONgress to authorize his ability to make war. He didn't say war against who, just to make war. We are all ISIL, ISIS, IS, or whateverthefuckyouwanttocalus in his eyes now.

I guess people who suspect they're on no-fly lists have another easy test to see if they're being tracked. Nice work, Mr Pres!

I have two work colleagues that were on no-fly list. They had no idea why. One of them took a month to get off it. Face it, any thing .gov does is fucked up

I have a bad feeling about this...

I don't see how this ISIS situation will get better anytime soon.

The president doesn't like war and he won't do anything.

Trump doesn't sound serious about anything. He just says I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. I am right, you are wrong.

No one has a credible plan to stop these terrorist attacks... lol

Well for starters we should maybe stop supporting them and training them and arming them.

The president doesn't like war and he won't do anything.

Drone man?  ORLY?  Doesn't like woar?  Surely you jest.

Trump doesn't sound serious about anything. He just says I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. I am right, you are wrong.

Oh...and Obama sounds serious?  RAAAYYYT.

No one has a credible plan to stop these terrorist attacks... lol

Well, you're right there.... no one is talking about stopping the illegal invasions of sovereign nations and bombing the fuck out of them for the last 20 years...

Someone with courage needs to take a page out of the playbook of that sainted progressive, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He incarcerated American citizens of Japanese descent "for the duration". How about we do the same for all Muslims in the USA? We already have those FEMA camps, so all we have to do is emulate good old FDR!

Now about finding someone with courage...we're screwed.

Obama equates Muslim terrorism with black violence.

He looks at this through his black goggles.

  • Muslims terrorists -> inner city and black on black violence
  • Muslim profiling -> blacks being stopped and arrested at higher rates than whites
  • Black on black violence -> Most people killed by Muslims terrorists are Muslims
  • Easy access to guns a black on black violence enabler -> Any access to guns a Muslim violence enabler

I don't hate to say it. restrict people coming in to the U.S. from all countries. Everyone must be properly vetted or you are not coming in.

Try flying to Saudi without a visa. see what kind of reception you get at the airport.

And be sure to bring money for a return ticket otheriwse they lock you up - Saudis won't spend good money deporting you.
