The politicians tell us they will stop criminals/terrorists as well. What a fucked up world.

as of july in the great state of kansas, a concealed carry permit is needed any longer...and open carry is legal as well...and the "no gun" stickers on buildings are meaningless unless the building has armed guards and a metal detector at the door (ie: basically government buildings)...and our local theater chain basically has encouraged people to conceal carry into the theaters for years...this is why there will be no false flag active shooter here for more than a few minutes...

Here in Houston we now have people breaking and entering into homes during the day. Sometimes as many as 3 or 4 people will rush thhe house. Usually 1 person will knock on the front door while 2 or 3 people go to the back door while the homeowner is distracted. We have had a dozen cases or so of this over the last couple of years.
In fact in one case they broke into a cops home and his son pulled out their AR15 and shot and killed one of the burglars.

Gives time for one to get in a fight ready position and the other (from a distance) to call 911 as the others seek predetermined cover/concealment.
I just do not understand or accept the prevailing social paradigm, where the Police/LEAs are there to substitute your Defense & Security needs, rather than to augment them.
