UK Petition To Ban Trump From Entry Gets Enough Signatures To Be Debated By Parliament
Donald Trump wants to keep Muslims out of the United States - or at least until we "figure out what's going on."
The brazen billionaire’s plan to make America off limits to a specific religious group has drawn the ire and condemnation of politicians on both sides of the aisle, even as the “gaffe proof” GOP frontrunner looks likely to garner even more support from his base as large swaths of the voting public have been whipped into a xenophobic frenzy following the attacks in Paris and last week’s massacre in California.
For better or worse (and we’re not going to comment either way on this as voters will ultimately deliver America’s verdict), Trump is making it abundantly clear that in his administration, the US will become an exclusive club that’s effectively closed to certain ethnic groups and religions.
Well, on the heels of Trump’s Muslim ban proposal, “some folks” in the UK are looking to ban Trump and based on the number of signatures on the petition pictured below, it looks like parliament will have to consider the proposal which characterizes Trump's rhetoric as "hate speech."
Here's the rationale:
The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech. The same principles should apply to everyone who wishes to enter the UK.
If the United Kingdom is to continue applying the 'unacceptable behaviour' criteria to those who wish to enter its borders, it must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful.
We can't wait to see what king of raucous debate this stirs up among UK lawmakers.

Does it not matter that many of the signatures will be from people outside the UK? I don't see how they screen this, but I think it's a good idea to have Parliament debate things that get so many signatures. I wish the U.S. did the same.
What's disturbing is this trend of wanting to ban people based on their speech. I guess they don't remember the "first they came for" poem. It seems prevalent in the UK, as I recently heard that Michael Savage is banned from entering there. Trump will be in good company if it goes through.

The UK has destroyed itself by allowing mass immigration of Muslims. We don't need any of them here. So Trump's first official act can be to ban entry of all UK citizens and residents when he is inaugurated President of the United States of America in 2017.
If voters agree with his views, then he'll get the nomination and if even more voters agree with him, then he'll capture the Presidency. It's democracy and freedom in action.
His views are his views. Agree with them or not, he's entitled to them. It's not like the UK can silence him.
