The news of an active shooter comes two days after two members of the school’s football team were arrested on drug charges.
Chris Stone, a 23-year-old senior defensive end, and Tyler Trosin, 22-year-old senior receiver, were arrested at about 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office. A judge found probable cause to charge the two men with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing prohibited articles, the Jonesboro Sun reported.

Arkansas State University Police had their SRAs and Criminal Justice Majors pulled the Fire Alarms early this morning (2 A.M.) and the ASU Police Department searched EVERY ROOM (which they did not) to make sure that everyone egressed out of the Dorms safely.
Of course they "find" some Cocaine in these Football Players' room and proceed to arrest them when the "All Clear" signal was given and everyone came out of that freezing cold night and were allowed to return to their rooms.
The "search" only takes ten minutes because of the risk of EXPOSURE to the students clad in bedclothes.
This guy probably watched his friends get popped, perhaps he is implicated, and he decided to retaliate....for the ILLEGAL SEARCH.
Otherwise the news service would not have even mentioned the little "Coke Bust" that happened earlier this morning.
These types of ILLEGAL SEARCHES happen across every University Campus in the United States. They do this EVERY FINALS WEEK.
As an anecdote I have watched a scenario like this happen SIX TIMES, while living at a dorm at Northern Arizona University, and caught the SRAs IN THE FUCKING ACT.
