College Cry Bullies In Pennsylvania Demand "Racist" Lynch Memorial Hall Be Renamed

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

In a recent post, Not a Safe Space – Canadian University Suspends Yoga Class After Students Become Offended, I explained how those most responsible for the almost inconceivable authoritarian idiocy spreading across college campuses are not the students themselves, but their spineless and inept administrators.

These kids are more or less acting like Wall Street financiers after the bailouts. After the bankers were provided with trillions of dollars in backstops and no one went to jail for destroying the economy, they immediately paid themselves record bonuses a year after the worst of the crisis, and are now once again thieving and pillaging at will.

Why? Because when no one is held accountable, the incentives are in place to steal. Similarly, no adults are holding these out of control child-fascists accountable for their despicable behavior. As such, these tyrants-in-training are getting more out of control every day, and getting away with it. Thank you college administrators.

– From the piece: Protesters at Smith College Demand Journalists Swear Loyalty Oath Before Reporting on Them

You’ve got Trump supporters on one side, college cry bullies on the other. One group consists of self-described conservatives, the other self-described liberals. Both have authoritarian tendencies and would throw out the rule of law, civil liberties, and rationality in a heartbeat if it meant advancing their own agendas. Both are equally dangerous, and both movements appear to be growing. The depressing thing is, rather than Americans uniting under Constitutional principles, the trend seems to be two camps diverging into their own unique brands of totalitarianism. The future does not look bright should this continue.

In the latest example, this time at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania, students remarkably want to rename a building commemorating Dr. Clyde A. Lynch, the college’s 11th president who served during the Great Depression and WWII, because the word “lynch” has racist implications. This sort of epic stupidity is of course the logical outcome of college administrators consistently pandering to the inane demands of college cry bullies nationwide.

Talking Points Memo reports:

Some students at Lebanon Valley College, a private liberal arts institution in Pennsylvania, have demanded administrators rename the campus’ Lynch Memorial Hall because of the “racial connotations” associated with the term “lynching,” pennlive.com reported Tuesday.

The building was named after Dr. Clyde A. Lynch, the college’s 11th president who served during the Great Depression and WWII. Lynch raised $55,000 for a physical education facility that took his name and was later converted into classrooms, according to the college’s website.

Student protesters also demanded that the college offer a more diverse curriculum and have its staff members undergo additional sensitivity training, according to the report.

The president of the college’s Black Student Union told pennlive that she thought the demands were “pretty reasonable.”

If this is considered “pretty reasonable,” we are all in very, very deep trouble.

Meanwhile, this must be creating quite the conundrum for U.S. Attorney General, the…

That's also my thought, that these kids have no idea what the "real" world is like.   Things that the 6 billion people that don't live in a first world country actually care about.

Or even what people outside of their university cloister care about.  These snowflakes are in for a RUDE awakening, when people (employers) begin to tell them to f'off to their faces and kick them out the door.

I've travelled and worked extensively around the world, and recently have a numbrer of (working) trips to west africa.    The cry bullies have no concept that a union wage for local labour in Liberia, working on a massive project, is only 35 cents per hour.....  And since that's a negotiated union wage, it's considered high.

Very simple...let's put this question to our Attorney General. If she agrees that the name 'Lynch" has racist connotations and should be changed, then we'll do it.

And the interaction should be televised, so we can all see how that goes...

Student loans, food stamps and welfare are the greatest forms of Micro Aggression. We need to end them all the sooner the better.

Personally, I think the words lunch and launch should be banned from the language too. They're just too similar sounding and I get all scared when I see or hear them.

Who pulled that one off?  And don't forget, stop using "bigger".  Use "larger" instead.

Meanwhile in California, students at UC Berkely are demanding that the country of Niger change its name because it looks vaguely racist.

When I grew up lynching was for horse thieves and cattle rustlers.  I don't connote either with a race, only a racist would.

They need more role models:

Man, 21, who 'shot good Samaritan in the stomach for trying to stop kidnapping' is now accused of raping and robbing a couple at gunpoint less than 24 hours later

Euric Cain, 21, is accused of shooting medical student Peter Gold, 25

Lesson: Don't interfere.  People deserve the crime committed upon them that they vote for.  To be fair, you can ask the victim how they voted. Any answer disqualifies them if they were not carrying a firearm in the first place.  Liberals will automatically sue if you try to help.  Even if you saved their life.  You were there, so you are to blame as well.

Just about all these colleges are government funded and government run....just look at the license tags of the college vehicles, and they all have "official state use" on them.....So obviously this marxist facism is now becoming government policy, just wait till its spreads to the rest of the government......When the brown shirts come for you, will you be like the 1930`s Germans and meekly obey?......
