Tyler Durden's picture

Three words... "not unequivocally good."

For the first time since February 2009, WTI Crude is trading with a $35 handle...

We've gone full retard.

It's all the competition from ISIS. How can anyone compete with Captagon-fueled head-choppers getting it for $0 at the well head?

Thank Chalky and his Saudi buddies for systematically flooding the world with oil to try to destroy the Russian economy.  The House of Saud is his friend and constituent, he works for the House.  Bakken is road kill.  Chalky has lied at every turn.  We were going to develop Bakken so the U.S. would be independent of foreign oil, remember?

Probably a big part of this is the chinese selling instead of buying.

And I guess there is not much more space to store that stuff, so prices might go further south...

I'm a little bit worried what "measures" TPTB are contemplating (as we speak?) to get that price back above 40...

35 sounds really really terrible.

But hey: Here we have a great "excuse" not to hike next week, no?

$35 oil = $2.25 gas?

Last year $60 oil meant $1.75 gas.

Gasoline should now retail for $1.35.

Fucking WallStreet traders. The margin for gasoline has never been higher.

.....and some stubborn, hubris filled, long ONLY hedge fund BIG SHOTS haven't capitulated yet. Someone above commented that the oil snaking its way through Turkey cheapened all oil - spot on simple analysis that is fact.
