Putin Orders Military To "Immediately Destroy" Any Threat To Russian Forces

Tyler Durden's picture

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ratcheted up the rhetoric in what appears to be one step closer to the potential for direct conflict with The West. While not detailing 'who' he was focued on, amid the obvious Turkey-Russia tensions, Putin told a session of the Defense Ministry's collegium that "I order to act extremely tough. Any targets that threaten Russian forces or our infrastructure on the ground should be immediately destroyed."

During the meeting of the most senior defense officials, ITAR TASS reports that Putin also warned against "those who will again try to organize any provocations against our servicemen."

"We have already taken additional measures to ensure security of Russian servicemen and air base. It was strengthened by new aviation groups and missile defense systems. Strike aircraft will now carry out operations under cover of fighter jets,"

Putin said that the Russian military have caused a substantial damage to terrorists in Syria, adding that the actions of the Russian Armed Forces are worthy of praise.

"The combined operation of the Aerospace Defence Forces and the Navy, the use of newest high precision weapons systems has caused a serious damage to the terrorist infrastructure, thus qualitatively changing the situation in Syria," the president said.

The president also ordered the defense ministry to coordinate actions in Syria with Israel’s command post and the US-led international coalition.

"It’s important to develop cooperation with all countries really interested in destroying terrorists. I am talking about contacts on ensuring flight safety with the command post of Israel’s air force and forces of the US-led coalition," Putin said.

According to the official, terrorists in Syria pose a direct threat to Russia and Moscow’s actions are carried out to protect the country rather than due to abstract interests.

"Our soldiers in Syria are, first and foremost, defending their country. Our actions there aren’t motivated by some obscure and abstract geopolitical interests or a desire to train our forces and test new weapons – which is of course an important goal as well. Our main objective is to avert a threat to the Russian Federation,"

As we noted previously, The Kremlin looks prepared not only to stay the course, but to ramp up the deployment. Not only is Moscow hitting terrorist targets with cruise missiles from Russia’s Caspian Fleet, but now, Moscow is shooting at ISIS from a submarine in what can only be described as an effort by Putin to use Syria as a testing ground for Russia’s long dormant military juggernaut (after all, you don’t really need to shoot at a group that doesn’t have an air force or a navy from a sub).

On that note, we present the following update graphic prepared by Louis Martin-Vézian of CIGeography as post at The Aviationst. It documents the scope of Russia’s operation in the Mid-East and should give you an idea of just how committed Moscow is to the fight.

The evil Zionist Khodorkvosky is facing trial in absentia over murders of Russian politicians andothers in the 1990's. He may face a life sentence. That is going to cramp his ambitions to be the next Russian president.

My take on this: Message to NATO, don't make a "mistake" regarding Russian forces. The march towards nuclear war continues. Ziocons must go soon or be the first to die if/when this goes radioactive.

Rather than a cowardly act of war without warning, in an attempt to draw Russia into a broader conflict,

A better comparison is the U.S. Lockheed Martin F35 (at $400 Billion costs) to the Russian S-400 Missile system...

Digest this shit with your coffee and dognut in your Washington D.C. bunker asshole:

S-400 targets:

  • Strategic bombers such as the B-1, FB-111 and B-52H
  • Electronic warfare airplanes such as the EF-111A and EA-6
  • Reconnaissance airplanes such as the TR-1
  • Early-warning radar airplanes such as the E-3A and E-2C
  • Fighter airplanes such as the F-15, F-16, F-35 and F-22
  • Stealth airplanes such as the B-2 and F-117A
  • Strategic cruise missiles such as the Tomahawk
  • Ballistic missiles (range up to 3,500 km).
  • And your fucking bunker...

The all-purpose maximum radial velocity is 4.8 kilometres per second (17,000 km/h; 11,000 mph; Mach 14) (absolute limit 5 kilometres per second (18,000 km/h; 11,000 mph; Mach 15) ), the minimum is zero.

  • System response time less than 10 seconds.
  • The complex can move on roads (60 km/h) and off road (ground) at speeds up to 25 km/h.

So, after you take your U.S. government mandated break for NWO idiots (an hour long shit), go fuck your self.

Happy Fucking Holidays!

Russia completely jammed the U.S. Aegis targeting system recently.  They use the new hidden weapons that use the hidden physics/electromagnetics.  Another type of these hidden weapons/devices have the ability to suddenly stop every electrical nerve impulse in a human brain and body.  There are many many more applications of these devices. Other countries have them also but Russia's are way ahead of everyone else.  If another strategic all-out world war does happen it could be over in 10 minutes without a single missile launched or bomb dropped.

I know of no evidence supporting that, and the US isn't telling anyone.  Something I read said a bunch of the sailors were very shaken by the experience, but I don't know the sources.

That weapon makes things more complicated even if it isn't real, and raises the probability of an accidental conflict.  The difference between normal crashes of software and the weapon's effects will not always be clear, and commanders certainly do different things when they believe they are under attack.

If you have the ability to know when a system crash is caused by X or Y under any conditions, you really should tell everyone, because it would save those of us doing systems work a lot of trouble.

If you know that our military systems are immune to mistakes, you should explain the source of all of the "Jesus, we almost started WWIII" stories that have come out of the military in the last 30 years.

OK, I would be happy to oppose Vlad when our Israeli-Neocons are out of power around the world.  Until then, the US of A is not a free country under law, and I will accept all of the help I can get.

Sorry about the brown people, but I have no power to prevent either side from these actions, so only get to use words of support.

Vlad is not aiming at world domination, so far as I can see, rather resisting the Israeli-Neocon military conquest of earth.  That can't be good for anyone, and the responsibility for the deaths of all the brown people is on their head.

And I hate having to do a chain of rationalizations like that, Israeli-Neocons need to hang.  I want the contract to provide the rope pullers.

I’ll be your Huckleberry.  No study of history’s most influential persons to have contributed to the rise of logical reasoned thought supported by evidence designed to allow the removal of elementary scaffolding to reveal the reconstructed edifice of a truly free human soul would be complete without an in depth reading of the history and 11 or 12 entries in the Christian canon of scripture submitted by the Israelite Saul of Tarsus, aka, the Apostle Paul.

His place in history, his education in rhetoric, Judaism, Romanism, governmental structures, language arts, geopolitical forces / intrigue, personal relationship development, etc., have him so far beyond his contemporaries he is in a class by himself.  Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle having lived before him may have contributed greatly to the process, but as for using the tools they forged into the consciousness of subsequent human intellectual achievements, he stands alone.  Those that have studied his writings since have to conclude he truly is / was a “chosen vessel”.

Consider this caveat described by Luke:  (I’ll apologize in advance for the “eth”s, “thee”s and “thou”s, but I still find the KJV somewhat romantic in its cadence and brogue.)

“…Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.

Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.  Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.

And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?  For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.  (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.  For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;  and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.  Acts 17: 16-32  KJV

He continues to fill your bill as a most “contemptable” / “dangerous” and “crazed radical”

+1, one thing, though: the Soviet Union was a socialist construct while the modern Russian Federation is a conservative one

the black double-headed eagle of the former Russian Empire is practically everywhere, former SU states are already vassals/satellites/allies, etc. etc.

Russia is fully "unleashing" conservative values: the Russian People; the Russian Orthodox Church; the Russian Armed Forces; Russian Autarchy-If-Necessary; Russian Prestige In The World; Respect For Russia in the World; Leadership of The Russian Federation for the Allies of the Russian Federation; The Russian Family First; The Russian Industry and Agriculture First, with Subsidies if necessary; etc. etc.

the only question in this is how liberal (in the classic sense) Russia is going to be in the future. i.e. concerning classical liberal values, like:

freedom of the press; freedom of trade; freedom of travel; freedom of speech; freedom of dissent from power; freedom of moving capital abroad; freedom of faith; freedom of participation to politics, parties, movements; etc. etc.

Russians enjoy all the things you classify as liberal values. Anybody who tells you otherwise is an ignoramus or a propagandist.

(Preaching the violent overthrow of the Russian federation in favour of an Islamic state or grooming children for sexual abuse isn't free speech. And yes, Putin wishes conserve Russia, her identity and her sovereignty---and while he's at it see to it that Russians be the ones who enjoy the fruits of Russia's labour and resource wealth.

They're less keen on having Russian values and culture overruled in favour of something more to the liking of Western bankers. They've been there before---from 1917 to 1991.

I agree with your comments. My gut feeling is that Putin has been trying hard to reintegrate Russia into the global community and to earn respect after Russian people have spent literally decades in the wilderness under a maniacal system few of them wanted or liked. His winter olympics bonanza was one example of that, sadly boycotted by many Western leaders under orders from Washington.

This is bound to drive his policies which are aimed at achieving those goals, such as we see in Syria. The Russian nationalism you describe is probably a by-product of that renewal process.

I find it to be one of the great sadnesses of our time that when the USSR collapsed, the West chose to believe that Russia was just a reincarnated USSR and set about trying to surround it with NATO. This was, and remains, a grave mistake.

The stupidity and childishness of Western leaders is breathtaking.

sorry, it's people like you, who don't take ideology seriously* and pursue an ideology of "whatever, as long as it is not socialism" that tried to talk up the "Russia is the Soviet Union reborn" meme

I am not surprised. I was gonna say "the West" equals the US, UK, Israel & NATO. You've said it for me :-)

"sorry, it's people like you, who don't take ideology seriously* and pursue an ideology of "whatever, as long as it is not socialism" that tried to talk up the "Russia is the Soviet Union reborn" meme"

No, not people like me. People in my government did it, but I don't support any of them. I realised soon after the USSR collapsed that Russia under Putin was not USSR MkII. Meeting some Russians in my occasional winter vacation resort of Phuket convinced me of that. They're a bit rough round the edges but basically want to join the world and learn from us. They have humour. We should welcome all that.

On ideology, I think you'll find that many Americans do have an ideology: it's basically one of wanting small.gov, personal responsibility, freedom/liberty, free markets, all supported by a strong Constitution to keep .gov under control. These are also the values that I share. Socialism in any of its guises is incompatible with much of that due to its proclivity to be prescriptive and interferring. That's why we don't like it and don't trust it.

"[...] and your country... is still full of people that really believe what your avatar says: that "the EU" is "something like the Soviet Union""

Barroso was a Maoist. Enough said. Tell me how many corporate lobbyists operate around Brussels? And how much dirty money changes hands?

"You Miss The Moral High Ground Of The Cold War"

Not me. I don't miss the USSR and I'm one of those who believes the Cold War was largely a deliberate Western (read US & UK) creation. What we saw was the USSR's response to it by protecting the motherland and creating a buffer zone known as Eastern Europe.

small gov, free markets are classic liberal values, up to a certain point personal responsibility too, though too often it's a mask for anti-equality, anti-socialism

a strong constitution... is generally centrist. after all, it's against excesses, extremes, radical solutions

socialism is an offshoot of equalism. if you eradicate equalism completely, you find out that justice isn't blind anymore, and you aren't equal in front of the law anymore

that's why I am wary of anti-equalism "because equalism is evil". the whole concept of rule of law hinges on equality in front of the law

meanwhile the dichtonomy between the English words Freedom and Liberty is still a bit of a mistery, for me

as I wrote, you are really a good sport. wish all Brits were like you, then exasperation with your People would be much easier to bear ;-)

While I agree that the general principle of divide and conquer has been implemented throughout the past few centuries by international banking families, they completely had Russia in the palm of their hands after the collapse of the USSR.

Yeltsin was their stooge and the oligarchs, as we all know, raped the shit out of the country. This has always been the end goal of wall st./london: appropriating Russia's natural resources.

Why then would they foment such an opposition to their goals when they'd already won? Putin and the nationalists have basically told them to go fuck themselves.

Because NSA's surveillance feeds their searchable database of blackmail information. That is one of the reasons Angela Merkel is hobbled : not only is NSA listening to all her phones, she has no idea who she can trust because of that blackmail info.

But the use of that must have built up enormous resentment, and I think that seals the Israeli-Neocon fates, they have no supporters outside of their current group, and most of it will fade fast when the US gov runs entirely on printed money with the consequent hyperinflation.

Israeli-Neocon strategy will leave the US with maximum hatred from the maximum number of enemies with very much on-the-job training at the same time as our military potential goes to zero.

Soviet Union had far more superior military at the time but would have never used nuclear weapons first.

Russia is not Soviet Union. It is not under socialist ideology of peace as a first and foremost objective.

Russia will be the first to go for the nuclear strike. It will be a nuclear response to a non-nuclear attack by a NATO-member. The likely first nuclear target will be Incirlik.

This is the nuclear monster that was created by US (Harvard IID) , with US (USAID) money in 1990s.

I do like the amount of negative response and down votes: it proves to me just one thing - even on ZH people have no clue of what happened in the countries of the FSU in the 1990 - the internet was not back then in the full swing, so all the "tards" on here got their info for that particular era from the odious MSM they so much dislike.

But nothing to worry - US will not, will not, will not, respnd to that first local tactical nuclear on a NATO air base.

Because if US were to respind it will result in a MAD - mutually assured destruction - intellectual pride of the Pentagon. And this is why the tactical nuclear strike will take place.

And THIS, the real possibility of the nuclear strike in that region, was the reason Israeli PM and his heads od security agencies/MOD went to Russia, nothing else.

Because a first nuclear strike by Russia will be also the end to the Israel. Not thay I care, the land was only "promissed" as we know. Nobody keeps his promeses this day anyway. Certainly not a G-D that self Israelites challenge all the time. And if anyone in Israel does play chess, then they would be now working very hard to pull the US and Turkey out of the region altogether.

I actually agree with you. I do think Putin will strike first with nuclear weapons and it will be a tactical deployment.

Putin has been playing a very good judo game. He has turned the energy of the US, EU and NATO's strikes back towards time and time again. The problem is that the US, NATO, and EU are pushing him back into a corner because they are mistaking Putin's politeness for fear. Imagine 3 drunk, punk kids trying to take on one judo expert in an alley. At some point he has to show them he is serious and then it will be a fight to the death if they don't back down.

Example: The west has recently unleashed that Jewish 'svine' Khordovosky against Putin. I remember the day Putin pardoned Khordovosky and gave him an early release to care for Khordovsky's dying mother. The minute I read that I knew Khordovsky would be back to haunt Russia again - he's a 50 year old Jewish gangster who stole Yukos from the Russians among his other nefarious activities like high-interest money lending. Putin should have had him shanked in prison but Putin took the high road.

Ukraine is clearly setting the stage for an offensive in East Ukraine. The US is going to press for a two front initiative this winter - Syria via Turkey using that Gollum dwarf and Ukraine via that fat  fuck Poroshenko.

The analogy is the two small guys in the alley are going to break their bottles into glass daggers and drunkenly bum rush the judo expert in the dark alley. The third guy (US/NATO) is laughing is ass off. The Judo Expoert has to keep them at bay. If he can't, he is going to have to grab the gun in his belt and shoot one or both of the small drunk guys.

Russia needs more time to get geared up for WWIII, which make no mistake, has started. But if Turkey or Ukraine take him on at the same time he will have no choice but to use a tactical nuke to get everyone to see the severity of the situation and to realize he is not weak.

Right now, everyone is realizing this is a game for keeps. And if they are not, they fucking ought to be.

For what US and Israel already done so far over years, if Russia used them right away, I say it would be already well justified. Millions of civilians and children killed, whole countries turned to rubbish... yeah, there would be justice IMO.

Soviet Union was not more under peace objective than Russia today its BS, I lived that regime. If anything, today`s Russia is probably best development and direction country could take. In terms of peace and international rules at least.

And if Russia will be first to go nuclear(which I think is likely), its because it is against multiple countries at once(NATO`s mutual protection) - thats only way to beat them plus its their problem if they were ignorant and stupid.

On historical analysis you contradict yourself - "Millions of civilians and children killed, whole countries turned to rubbish vs. Soviet Union was not more under peace objective than Russia, and Russia is better today than SU"

So, tells me although you may have lived in that "regime", you have not lived through the horrors of 1990s or do not comprehend them or both.

But you are right about strategic reason for why Russia will have no choice but to go nuclear -  "because it is against multiple countries at once".

Would that do a "justice" to millions killed and tens of millions displaced in the FSU and former Soviet block allies - no.

Worst times were undoubtedly during Stalin time. "Millions killed and tens of millions displaced in the FSU and former Soviet block allies" bear no responsibility on Russia. 89`-90`were times of soviet split, but nothing even remotely comparable to Stalin. Russia have not violated any UN rights AFAIK so far in these conflicts, it was invited for help by both Iraq and Syria. Can you say same about west? And Ukraine, according to UN laws any region have a right to secede. There never was any invasion - or perhaps by Kiev. 2. Provoke Russia or just anyone to start the war

3. Wait for the first big major event and jump in

4. Restart economy

5. Take advantage of that mess and establish NWO or at least tighten control

6. Blame Russia they started it

7. Huge MSM propaganda on how the US solved the war and helped everyone

8. Gain control over the countries affected by war or at least drain all resources from these countries.

9. goto #1

I'm not fully convinced it is not just emergent behavior as opposed to a master plan by hidden oligarchs, but in the end it does not matter.  It will not go according to 'plan'.  We are seeing explosive growth in distruptive social and physical technologies that are decentralized in nature.  3D printing, uber, kickstarter, crowd source funding, open source software development models, decentralized transaction technologies (bitcoin, etc), crowd lending (lending tree, prosper, etc), return of local farmers markets, the internet itself, etc.  This is all parallel to the current system and like all disruptive changes is still young, but it is where we are going.  The current political system of large nation-states / state capitalism is not a good paring for this new mode of production, so they will fall.  The pendulam that has promoted concentration of control and resources for the past 150+ years is reversing course, and these NWO types are going to find that they have lost the plot, as always eventually happens to all central planners.

the neocon zionists are salivating at the prospect of fulfilling the dream of Albert Pike's wars, and the idea to expand Israel.... order out of chaos... they want domination by having other parties destroy each other.

There is only one way to deal with them.... roast them before they can create more problems. The dual citizens who run USA don't give a shit about USA...They want to see you die so that Israel can be a major power.

That's what you do when you are such a small population.... get others to fight...then sit back and watch... pick up the pieces and act all innocent

"Roast" who or whom?

Tens of thousands of Syrian rebels that were trained by the Russian military?

Are you suggesting Putin will leave Syria post haste and then immediatly nuke/carpet bomb Syria? That sure sounds like the "solution" you are talking about.

Putin's actions do have a logic:  Join civilization as now defined by Russia.   Or, choose Takfiri Sunni Islam.

The Takfiris are establishing a new Caliphate.  Those that don't submit become refugees, pay  Jizzya, or die.

In this way, the Takfiri's are winnowing and converting their populations into radical fighters.  From this base, which Putin call's a bridgehead, takfiris can then export their ideology - by force.

Maybe both Jews and U.S. MIC will come to their senses.  Putin repeatedly has his hand out in a gesture of partnership.

In any matchup between the Russian S-400 and American hardware, the Russians will initially have their batteries destroyed by overwhelming force. Then, realizing they misjudged the efficacy of their "vaunted" system against a genuine superpower, the Russians will elect to power down and hide their remaining batteries to fight another day against a lesser foe.

Six months. At this rate Putin has about six months left. He's lost his entire fucking mind and he's making the good Russian people to PAY for it.

Lets also remember Russia is now going into Iraq to "provide security" and supposedly fight ISIS. in other words, thousands of Russian troops on the ground and many $MILLIONS PER DAY being spent by Russia -- AND more casualties headed back to Moscow.

Putin has completely lost it and he only has months left. Watch and see.

Putin's Quagmire in Syria Proves Obama Prescient

U.S. President Barack Obama, facing criticism at home over his Islamic State strategy, is turning out to be right with his prediction that Vladimir Putin’s own campaign in Syria will descend into a quagmire.

Many senior officials in Moscow underestimated how long the operation in support of Bashar al-Assad would take when Putin entered Syria’s civil war on Sept. 30 and no longer talk in terms of just a few months, with one saying the hope now is that it won’t last several years.

With the mission in its third month, Putin is pouring materiel and manpower into Syria at a pace unanticipated by lawmakers already struggling to meet his spending goals. The plunging price of oil is sapping revenue and prolonging Russia’s first recession in six years, prompting the Defense Ministry this week to postpone some new weapons programs.

“This operation will last a year at a minimum,” said Frants Klintsevich, deputy head of the Defense Committee in the upper house of parliament. “I was expecting more from Syria’s army.”

‘Mission Creep’

Russia initially earmarked just $1.2 billion for the war for all of 2016, an official familiar with the matter said. Outlays were running at about $4 million a day before Putin’s mid-November surge in troops and hardware, which doubled the cost to $8 million, or almost $3 billion on an annualized basis.

Troop Surge

Russia now has as many as 5,000 servicemen on the ground, more than double the original estimate of 2,000, according to RUSI researcher Igor Sutyagin. While Putin continues to rule out a land offensive, hundreds of advisers are already embedded with the Syrian army, he said.

Nobody in the Russian leadership is underestimating the difficulty of the challenge any more, according to Andrei Klimov, deputy head of the International Affairs Committee in the upper house of parliament.

“The threat we’re confronting is 45,000 to 50,000 fighters with military experience, fighters from Chechnya and Afghanistan, Syrian army officers that we trained ourselves.” Klimov said. “This is a very serious opponent.”

A serious war effort, agreed.  A quagmire?  Too soon to tell - the Russians have only been fighting in Syria since September 30.  I'll give them 6 months before I start thinking they are getting bogged down.

The quagmire could better be applied to USA in Syria and Iraq.  We have special ops in both places plus McCain (who never met a war he didn't like) arguing for 100,000 troops on the ground again in Iraq.  We've been doing this for YEARS.  We seem to be on a permanent war footing.

In Putin's speaches he has mentioned that Military to Military connections are often constructive.  In other words, American  and other Western military leaders on the ground have reasonable dialogue with their Russian Counterparts.

These on-the-ground man to man contacts should yield fruit in future, especially if it percolates upward.  Putin has noted a large disconnect between this direct linkage and what happens at the political level.  Note that Putin stresses this connection as part of his strategy.

Putin is also waiting on Turkey's next elections - note that Russia has already sowed discord and doubt in Turkey's populace about Erdogan.

Putin and Russia is playing a long game of assymetry.

Escalating like this means that there was some sort of break - we won't know what really happened until the future tells us.  Maybe one faction in U.S. MIC gained ascendancy.  Maybe Turkey has gone off the reservation and there are signs of army mobilization.

Erdogan messed up so badly that there will be very little rapprochement with Russia until he leaves office.  Same thing happened with Georgia - Russia would not talk to them until after Saakashvili departed.  There is hope for Turkish / Russian relations, but not for the short term.

it's a message: the Russian forces are going to telegraph their movements to Israel... so that "accidents" don't happen again

for the same reason, German Tornados will operate from Turkey and... keep an eye open for... fouls

at the same time, French Rafales will aid Russian planes to bomb Daesh... while Russian planes will also bomb any "anti-regime" forces which...

... are currently under French pressure to kiss up and make peace with the Syrian government. because otherwise... Iranian troops will be used

the resolution attempt of a 17-side conflict is indeed confusing, but if you think about, less so then the conflict itself

Nice analysis Ghordius.  There are also FACTIONS, where each is angling for control.  Example:  Russian Chechen's who have joined the Takfiri's are not welcome back, hence Russia actions are a defensive move to prevent Islam inroads within the Federation.

In the U.S. there are NeoCon's and those who oppose them, etc.

There are those here who keep thinking that Russia will go bankrupt with this war.

Not so.  A continental country with all the resources it needs can have a war economy.  This means that their internal money circulates allowing labor and material to come together to then create weapons.

Their money may not trade easily outside, but internal to the country it still buys goods and services.   Regular goods and services may be reduced in preference for war material.

Witness Nazi Germany, which had a war time economy and held off the much more numerous Allied powers.

Russia is only just getting started, as their factories ramp up to produce at ever higher rates.

140 million people within a continenatal country can produce tens of thousands of tons of munitions.  The U.S. had about this amount of population during WW2.

Couple this productive capacity with MOTIVATED shia fighters and eventually the outcome is a foregone conclusion.

The Takfiris have no production base for war material.  It all depends on Turkey and western MIC, if their greed continues to supply weapons and money for the Takfiris.

I doubt that Western MIC, Neocons, Israel, London. Saudi, Qatar, can continue their charade into future.

Yes. you are confused.

Who buys ISIS oil? We now know ASSAD is buying ISIS oil -- and in fact running joint operations with ISIS to keep key oil infrastructure running.

How do you think Syrian tanks keep running? The oil comes from somewhere!
