Putin Orders Military To "Immediately Destroy" Any Threat To Russian Forces

Tyler Durden's picture

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ratcheted up the rhetoric in what appears to be one step closer to the potential for direct conflict with The West. While not detailing 'who' he was focued on, amid the obvious Turkey-Russia tensions, Putin told a session of the Defense Ministry's collegium that "I order to act extremely tough. Any targets that threaten Russian forces or our infrastructure on the ground should be immediately destroyed."

During the meeting of the most senior defense officials, ITAR TASS reports that Putin also warned against "those who will again try to organize any provocations against our servicemen."

"We have already taken additional measures to ensure security of Russian servicemen and air base. It was strengthened by new aviation groups and missile defense systems. Strike aircraft will now carry out operations under cover of fighter jets,"

Putin said that the Russian military have caused a substantial damage to terrorists in Syria, adding that the actions of the Russian Armed Forces are worthy of praise.

"The combined operation of the Aerospace Defence Forces and the Navy, the use of newest high precision weapons systems has caused a serious damage to the terrorist infrastructure, thus qualitatively changing the situation in Syria," the president said.

The president also ordered the defense ministry to coordinate actions in Syria with Israel’s command post and the US-led international coalition.

"It’s important to develop cooperation with all countries really interested in destroying terrorists. I am talking about contacts on ensuring flight safety with the command post of Israel’s air force and forces of the US-led coalition," Putin said.

According to the official, terrorists in Syria pose a direct threat to Russia and Moscow’s actions are carried out to protect the country rather than due to abstract interests.

"Our soldiers in Syria are, first and foremost, defending their country. Our actions there aren’t motivated by some obscure and abstract geopolitical interests or a desire to train our forces and test new weapons – which is of course an important goal as well. Our main objective is to avert a threat to the Russian Federation,"

As we noted previously, The Kremlin looks prepared not only to stay the course, but to ramp up the deployment. Not only is Moscow hitting terrorist targets with cruise missiles from Russia’s Caspian Fleet, but now, Moscow is shooting at ISIS from a submarine in what can only be described as an effort by Putin to use Syria as a testing ground for Russia’s long dormant military juggernaut (after all, you don’t really need to shoot at a group that doesn’t have an air force or a navy from a sub).

On that note, we present the following update graphic prepared by Louis Martin-Vézian of CIGeography as post at The Aviationst. It documents the scope of Russia’s operation in the Mid-East and should give you an idea of just how committed Moscow is to the fight.

The problem is that IS, ISIS, ISIL, Al-Qaeda and now Daesh (newly arrived name to add confusion) are the creation of the CIA in Langley VA, so that is why for 2 years we have bombed Syrian infrastructure; ISIS is NATO/US alliance (w/Mossad); so if our Military bombs ISIS, then there is great division in the Pentagon and there is.

We need a US Military coup to prevent all out war and a quick and speedy trial(s) and meat out some real justice; I pray to the Lord this will happen.

Problems with military coups, of course, are getting rid of them, even when the right guys do it.

Our Israeli-Neocons need more power, or they are going to hang.  I think their Status Quo is behind all the strife in the US, blacks vs whites, gun-owners vs liberals (truely idiots), etc. Their MSM loves all that, and selects the most extreme messages or incidents that can be made so and presents them with the most extreme headlines.

Our only defense is to refuse to hate and focus on the problem of our government having run the 9/11 False Flag operation.  That is the important issue, solving it removes many of the other problems.

If Vlad is what he is trying to appear, the US has no problem with him.  A US with a neutral foreign policy is no threat to anyone, and terrorism would cease to be an issue, except for our own children psychologically destroyed by modern institutions, e.g public schools.

For one thing, Russia hasn't run false flags on its own citizens since the apartment bombings needed for the war in Chechnya.  That was GRU, one suspects Putin knew.  They didn't kill as many people as 9/11 did, and Putin won his war (extremely brutal tactics, kill the boys when they get to 15 to prevent them becoming jihadists).  Worked within Russian politics.

I don't think Putin is a saint, just a much better leader for a country under siege from the Israeli-Neocons than any other in a position to resist, which puts me on his side for the moment.

I certainly didn't mean to imply any superiority.  People are people everywhere, and incentive systems make the man.

Russians went directly from Feudalism to Communism with no intervening normal liberal civilization.  My Russian friends have no concept of inherent human rights, their concepts of the world are power-oriented. One very informative example is Jewish Russians at a party saying "kill them all" about Chechans.  Israel's moderates and liberals consistently lost only after the Russian Jews got to Israel, and probably the concessions the US gave to Russian Jewish immigrants (considered them refugees from religious oppression) were engineered by Neocon interests.

I worked with many Russians, they had non-compatible computer experiences when they first arrived in the US, so ended up in QA for the most part.  I managed projects with Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese, ... programmers and QA people.  Senior, more experienced Russians were selling bugs to new people so the new people could look good.

As a rule, if an Indian hires an Indian, there is a payoff.

Chinese form Chinese mafias everywhere they get hired, and take down companies as a result. Mainland Chinese are worse than Taiwanese.

These people don't understand positive-sum games of business, and are problems.  Comanies that have a high number of a single ethnic group in management die at a higher rate than normal, even big companies. Sun.

VCs do not fund many companies with foreign CEOs, always have Americans in the CFO's slot, usually in Marketing and almost always in CEO, tho that is changing ans 2nd generations come into the business and tech world.

As a consultant, I have worked with and for every nationality, I think.  They choose to work for Americans rather than other ethnic groups, tho I think that is because we are easier to fool.

One of my inlaws has specialized in managing off-shore groups, Armenians and other countries peripheral to the old USSR.  I met a lot of interesting people through him, also.

I am not at all naive about differences in national characters, but the world of tech and tech business has accomodated and prospered as a result of all the immigrants.  And I got such a good wife.

According to this article, Clinton, Bush, Obama are responsible for having trashed the partnership with Russia:

http://orientalreview.org/2015/12/07/its-not-all-putins-fault/   "Joe Biden tries to persuade then PM Vladimir Putin not to enter presidential race, March 2011."

"Last year Russia withdrew from the Nunn-Lugar Initiative which you may remember was one of the wisest pieces of legislation that Congress ever passed.  In the 1990s, we gave Russia money to lock down and secure their materials for making weapons of mass destruction. In addition we paid salaries to their scientists who knew how to make and use these materials and who might otherwise have gone to Syria, Yemen or the Caucasus to sell their knowledge in order to employ themselves. Russia did withdraw but said it wants to renegotiate Nunn-Lugar on different terms.  The White House has refused.  After Paris, one hopes that Obama picked up the phone and said, “I’m sending someone over, let’s get this done.”

Unfortunately, today’s reports seem to indicate that the White House and State Department are thinking primarily how to counter Russia’s actions in Syria.  They are worried, it was reported, that Russia is diminishing America’s leadership in the world.

HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE:  We in the United States cannot lead the world alone any longer, if we ever could.  Long before Paris, globalization and other developments have occurred that ended the monopolar, US-dominated world.  That world is over.  A multipolar world has emerged before our eyes, not just in Russia but in five or six capitals around the world.  Washington’s stubborn refusal to embrace this new reality has become part of the problem and not part of the solution."

This US Prof. has studied Russian history for over 50 years, seems more qualified than any of the 3 characters above to talk about the geopolitical moves.

Russia walked away from Nunn-Lugar and now we have rogue Russian scientists, nuclear workers, butchers, pipelayers and an unemployed dude (seriously) trying to sell enriched uranium on the black market!

Fuck. Why did Putin walk away from the relationship???????????? Doesn't Putin think the terrorists can use this stuff against Moscow??????

----

The fuel for a nuclear bomb is in the hands of an unknown black marketeer from Russia, U.S. officials say

The presence of identical fissile materials in three smuggling incidents indicates someone has a larger cache and is hunting for a buyer.

CHISINAU, Moldova – The sample of highly-enriched uranium, of a type that could be used in a nuclear bomb, arrived here on a rainy summer day four years ago, in a blue shopping bag carried by a former policeman.

According to court documents, the bag quickly passed through the hands of three others on its way to a prospective buyer. It was not the first time such material had passed through this city, raising international alarms: It had happened twice before. And mysteriously, in all three cases, spanning more than a decade, the nuclear material appeared to have the same origin – a restricted military installation in Russia.

It’s a mystery that so far has stumped America’s best spying efforts, in no small measure because the government of Russian president Vladimir Putin has refused to provide needed information on the case – or even to acknowledge that some of the country’s nuclear explosive materials are missing.

Under Putin, Russia has steadily cut back its overall nuclear security cooperation with the United States, arguing that it no longer needs Washington’s financial or technical assistance to safeguard its own fissile material stockpile. “It just faded to a tertiary issue under Putin,” Michael McFaul, the U.S. ambassador to Russia from 2012 to 2014, said in an interview.

What these posts are leaving out.

Barry is going to leave when he wants to leave....not when his term is over.  The Constitution was buried a while back (without a public funeral).  Anyone who thinks different needs to wake up.

War with Russia...no problem.  Death to you and yours...no problem.  These things just mean he gets to declare an emergency and declare himself president for life.

Bill Clinton supporters tried to get a grass roots movement going so he could be president for life when he was president.  It didn't work.  George W. tried the same.  Hillary and Bill know things have changed so they could have control for life if Hillary gets in.  What a horse race with these two (Hillary and Barry).

Great future huh?  Maybe Donald looks pretty good.

Gee, anyone with a lick of sense...

Try this. I was in the US military. I've helped plan a few things over the years. So I absolutely know for a FACT how hard it would be to plan something like this.

The supposed agencies involved:

FBI

CIA

NSA

FAA

USAF

USN

NYPD

And at least 2-3 foreign intelligence agencies.

Now, they all need to talk to each other to PLAN and DRILL for the operation.

From a manpower stand point, we are looking at ~5,000 people with no fewer than 1,500 people across multiple agencies -- all cross talking to each other and conducting >50 operational drills for the operation. That would require extensive pre and debrief of the operational aspects of the misison.

So, we have ~5,000 people all communicating, hard practicing the operation -- and enough documentation to fill a a warehouse.

From a hard drill perspective, consider the operatives in the plane(s). What are the contingencies if the plane can't leave the ramp due to engine problems? What are the contingencies if one of the operatives breaks down menatally and can't execute the mission? You would need a team in the terminals to eliminate the operatives because assets like that could not be allowed to just start "walking and talking". This means a heavily armed team exposing themselves to airport security video. This is just one component of a massively complicated plan -- now multiply that complexity by 1,000.

So, we have NO witnessess. We have NO leaked documentation. We have NO operational drill videos leaked. We have NOTHING. PERIOD. EVER. There is ZERO chance that someone from the planning and execution of this operation would not break at some point considering >3,000 innocent people died. There are no death bed confessions. There are no drug / alcohol binges outing themselves -- there is nothing...

Ask anyone that has or is in the US military this question. What is the most dangerous thing in the military? The answer is -- Microsoft Powerpoint. This supposed false flag operation would have created probably 100,000 of them and they are where? Assange wanted info on 9/11 = nothing. Snowden wanted info on 9/11 = nothing. There's your backdoor proof this was not a "inside job".

Any of you people that thinbks that there is some smoky room with three guys that mumble a few words then push a red button need to get a dose of reality.

I SUPPORT you 100% with that comment AlphaHammer.

9/11 was NOT an "inside job" or a "false flag event".

It was EXACTLY what people saw on the LIVE TV video.  Some jet planes impacted the WTC, the fuel burned fiercely, and the heat brought down the Twin Towers.

I saw the analysis by the civil engineers - made public if anyone wants to see it.  Te analyses all say that the fuel from those burning planes weakened the steel columns in the skyscrapers, the steel buckled, and the buildings came down.  It was a surprise to everyone, but the original designers never expected a large jet plane to smack into the buildings.

Personally, I doubt that Bin Laden realized that he could bring down the Twin Towers.  He probably thought he would cause a major fire, and maybe kill several hundred people (on some floors of the buildings).  But I seriously doubt that Bin Laden realized that the impact of the planes would cause as much damage ... as it actually did.  It was a VERY TRAGIC day for America.

IT WAS NOT A CONSPIRACY - except by the Al Qaeda terrorists.

But I don't expect that the huge number of conspiracy buffs on this site will ever believe logic ... they gave up rational thought a long time ago.

And BTW you are RIGHT - Microsoft PowerPoint is the worst thing that ever happened to America's defense establishment.

Interesting that you should replay the 'bin Laden thought' idea, as the FBI has said they had no evidence and the real bin Laden denied he had anything to do with it.  That from a CIA-purchased asset.

Yes, we know what all of the government's analyses said, but nobody at Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, quite a seirous bunch of people who lay out evidence that has not been refuted, indeed no credible attempts have been made to do so, agrees with any of it.  The more work that is put into the research, the more holes in the gov's story, and the more connections to the various criminals.

The latest I watched was Roth :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdP95oSoOFk

Webster Tarpley is good also :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q41nZpGTm74

So I have the choice of believing an obvious coverup by people who did the 9/11 false flag operation using a story which is completely impossible in a world of natural law, or independent and reputable serious scientists and engineers, whose analyses use those laws of nature.

Very tragic day for America, indeed, our Israeli allies killed 3K Americans in their quest for world domination by the US military.

Good grief!! I'm agreeing with you and AlphaHammer.

Aside from the technical and logistics issues, I think the political tells are also overwhelming.

The Bushes wanted to go after Iraq and they are in the pocket of the Saudis.  So who do they supposedly line up as the patsies for their "false flag" operation?  Why 19 Saudis of course.  And immediately it happened they had to shuffle all their Saudi friends out of the country.

Surely this extremely cunning, highly secretive but successful operation would actually line up the right patsies.  But no, that was the one, relatively easy, thing they got wrong.

Even the Israelis if they were organizing it would prefer to blame it on Iraq or Iran, not Saudi Arabia with whom they have a working relationship.

Then there was GWB himself.  Remember at the time he was reading to some kindergarten class and when he was informed he looked stunned and went back to reading to the kids.  He was the proverbial deer in the headlights.  He was displayed as not having a clue what to do and looking anything but a leader.  Surely had GWB or any of his people been in on it then they would have programmed him to react in a way that made him look like a capable leader instead of a hopeless schmuck.

Go look at the evidence, it will disabuse you of the need to agree with people who are not concerned with reality.

Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth is a good place to start, and the others from the military, pilots, scholars, ... will fill all that out.

No question, from an engineer and scientific analysis, the buildings were destroyed by explosive.  Reason from that FACT.

I know of no rational person who has looked at the evidence who has any doubt. Not even any irrational people, tho the reason is that getting them to look at evidence is generally not possible.

If it was a sophisticated government operation, then the government is indeed all powerful all knowing and going to take full control of your life and destroy your freedoms and you are fucked. You ommitted several little deatils.

Mossad agents were trailing Atta and co (even renting apartments not far from where he lived).

The incident with the five dancing Israeli Mossad agents are sayonim suggests Israel knewa great deal about what Atta & co planned to do.

Israel knew Atta and co. were up to something, yet they did not inform the US government who could have stopped the whole thing with a few carefully placed air marshalls.

Israel allowed the 9-11 attacks to happen for the benefit of Israel. This was confirmed by Natanyahu who said '9-11 was good for Israel'. To paraphrase another Israel-firster, the death of 3000 US citizens was 'a price worth paying' for the benefit of Israel.

If you believe Al Queda did 9/11, you've just said that it was a conspiracy conducted by the CIA.

Milt Bearden, CIA station chief in Pakistan was waxing lyrical about how wonderfully helpful Bin Laden was to his operations months before 9/11. It's not a secret - it's in a fucking NewYorker article in January 2000.

9/11 was a Mossad/CIA False Flag Operation to initiate the actions described in PNAC. There has to be something extremely wrong with you to believe the official narrative, considering those who actually wrote the official narrative have doubts.

You are right, it was complex, and probably lacked planning and the training necessary to do it cleanly.

--

Added a bit later, after more thought.  Yes, it was a shoestring operation by the 2nd team, or the Mossad has gone downhill. That assassination in Dubai that unraveled so quickly argues 'second team', but I have no other evidence. OTOH, Israel is now very ideologically-driven, and systems of that nature do not generally produce good results.

I think they could not have believed it would be hidden, but their control of MSM was sufficient to keep it from becoming a politcal event.  Meanwhile, it was a message to anyone who could see it 'new sheriff in town'.

Also, no building engineer would buy the story of a building falling into its own footprint. Physically impossible without assistance, so it was going to unravel, just a matter of time.  They must have known that, and therefore were confident they would control enough political power to make knowledge of the false flag nature spreading through the society irrelevant.

So far, they have been right, but their control of MSM is proving irrelevant, indeed contributing to the declining worth of their MSM properties and legitimacy of the governments they control.

---------

Added later.  I just watched this from 'pilots for 9/11 truth'.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Laaq44SDgg

The Israelis were 2nd team, not the US side.

2nd team because they had lousy operational security, left tons of evidence, and said things on TV that were far too revealing.  Someone excellent designed the controlled demolition and competent people installed it, but dropping the passport was overegging the pudding.  Blowing up the portin of the 1st tower to fall as it was falling, having tipped over to the side, so nothing significant hit the ground, ditto.

And the extra guys with more exposives on the bridge, etc.  Way too much for belief. OBL would not have been able to do that from Afghanistan, and it was covered up, not dealt with in the investigation.

2nd team.

There likely were a couple thousand involved - Mossad agents , Neocon higherups here who allowed the mechanics to be carried out by the Mossad and israeli Firsters, and Saudis who funded it.

Why have none of significance come forward as whistleblowers? Simple.

First the Zionist controlled media would never report it  - the alternative media would, but would be ridiculed as conspiracy theorists; and

Second -most importantly -they, their families and descendants would be murdered and silenced  -and they know this  -they would be "suicided" -and they know this. There's one important point which is missing above, IMHO.

Putin also said that Russian Air Force is providing strikes in support of parts of the Free Syrian Army who are fighting ISIS alongside the Syrian Government Forces, as well as munitions supply.

So it appears some of the opposition forces (by Putin's words about 5 000 men)  have adopted the idea suggested on diplomatic and political levels that a wider patriotic front should be formed to fight the ultimate enemy and preserve the territorial unity of Syria.

Russia is not going to start WW III over a downed jet or any other minor provocation. Russia seems to be largely winning most of the battles on the diplomatic front so has no need to set her hair on fire. Russia's revenge will be the destruction of the western mercenary fanaticals and the resurrection of Syria with perhaps some few parts missing as an autonomus region for the Kurds under a new Syrian government even more scular and democratic than the last. Erdogan, if he were smart, should be planning his exit from politics.

Business: a lot of very wealthy Russians and Ukrainians have bought property from Trump. He knows them. He likes them. He understands them better than the Neocons or Progressives. One reading of Putin’s political progress is that he won a big fight with a cabal of oligarchs, he imposed the state’s will on them*. Just guessing, he might decide that a Cabal of oligarchs anywhere on earth is a danger to him personally and institutionally, especially after the Ukraine was destroyed and the same NGOs showed up in Moscow. Morale is low as well. I have many friends still in the military. The real combat vets and grunts are being pushed out because they oppose the neo-liberal social agenda and want to destroy organizations like ISIS, not secretly fund them.

Think of how betrayed many Americans in the know feel that the war on terror was a farce. Now, think how mad you would be if you saw friends die fighting the same terrorists we are now funding. The good news is, don't expect the military to be reliable enforces of elitist tyranny in the US.

So, don't go thinking Russia is going to solve this

I wish them well, but they also have dirty hands like the US

This seems more like judgment, and I don't mean Alah either

Well ...

A cruel and sadistic people who ruled thru fear and terror

The very same can be said about the Englsh Royal Navy in the years after the beginning of the reign of George 1.

according to Muslim predictions, ISIS is supposed to fight a final battle with an Army flying 80 flags. That would suggest that America and Russia eventually join forces, along with a bunch of smaller countries, to fight a united Muslim army. I don't see why not. Russia is no fan of Muslim terrorists after their fight with the Taliban in the 1970s and 1980s. It's weird when biblical prophesies and world events start to align. And I'm an athiest

I think its more complicated than that. I think that prohesies come true because events are predestined to happen. That doesn't mean I believe in God, just that there are cosmic forces at play that are impossible to resist

Cosmic forces with the intelligence to predestine events, but no God. Ok got it, that sounds totally reasonable and well thought out.

The future is only the future here on earth. Somewhere in the outer regions of the universe our past is someone else's future. And where God exists, completely apart from time and space, there is only Now.

So no, prophecy is not planned and then executed by religious zealots. Prophecy is simply the ability to see Now somewhere else in the universe or in God's realm. That is the ultimate meaning of Communion: to live with one foot on the other side, one eye on a future that is Now somewhere else.

You're behind the times.  The Russian army hazing that you are talking about was during the nasty nineties when the army moral was at its lowest in history.  It's a different world now.

I might have this all backwards, but I think I've figured out what Obama is. I think he's a jihadist suicide bomber sent by Islam to wreck the American establishment. In other words, Obama knows his days are numbered but he's not doing anything to prevent his forthcoming lynching because he's planned on dying for the cause from day one. I could be wrong. And yes this means I believe that Americans will hang Obama if given the opportunity

I never understood the whole Gog/Magog thing. Is it people or is it countries. And do these predictions, do they take place in days weeks, years or decades. Like is revelations spanned over a few years or over a hundred years. These things are too confusing

The events foretold in Revelation span thousands of years.

Most of the events have already taken place and/or are still taking place.

A few are being fulfilled right now.

A handful have yet to be fulfilled.

The battle of Gog and Magog doesn't occur until 1,000 years after Jesus Christ has returned, according to Revelation 20:7-8:

"7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore."

Also note that originally, the land of Magog would likely be ancient Western Europe, while the land of Gog would be The Caucasus and the area north of it. Prophetically, it shouldn't be assumed that these lands refer to specific nations, but rather, all those, collectively, who oppose God.

The Gog and Magog definition is up for debate, timing included

Gog is acualy a man

Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal.

Someone like Obama could very well be Gog

Absolute nonsense - the danger comes from people like you who think a book written by hundreds of pre-scientific, superstitious men has magic powers.

The only real prophecies are the self-fulfilled kind.

I'm looking two or three steps ahead and as far as I can seee Obama is toast what with Trump coming into the picture now. I could be wrong, afterall, even if 3/4 white people voted for Trump, they still might not have the numbers. That's what sucks about democracy. Our democracy now is such a disgrace. I think Obama has no legitimate right to rule. Since Democracy is supposed to be citizens only voting but the definition of citizen is so broad now, half of latin America is weighing in on our elections now, it might not matter how the average white voter votes. That why I think a genuine lynch mob may be the end of Obama
