One thing you might have noticed if you’ve followed the short history of Germany’s migrant “miracle” is that citizens’ celebratory mood (characterized initially by the “sweets, toys, and hugs” Syrian refugees received upon arriving in Germany after completing the increasingly arduous Balkan route) has gradually been replaced by a creeping skepticism towards the asylum seekers and towards the “iron chancellor’s” open-door policy for refugees.
Just two days ago, we highlighted the following graphic from WSJ which we called “the scariest chart for Angela Merkel” (TIME magazine’s recently crowned person of the year):

Even before the Paris attacks and the subsequent bomb scare in Hanover, the tide was already turning in terms of public sentiment.
Put simply, it’s not clear that Germans understood what the numbers meant until they came face to face with the influx.
None of this is to say that there aren’t still large parts of the German electorate that support Merkel’s “yes we can” approach, it’s simply to say that reality is beginning to sink in regarding what it means to take in one million people in the space of just six months when you are a country whose entire population is just 81 million.
Some groups have been against the open-door approach from the very beginning. PEGIDA (which stands for Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West), for instance has regained much if not all of the momentum the movement lost earlier this year when Lutz Bachmann posted a picture of himself dressed as Hitler on Facebook with the caption “He’s Back” (read more about recent PEGIDA rallies here).
On Saturday, we got the latest example of social and political unrest in Germany when an attempt by leftists to disrupt right wing demonstrations turned violent. As RT recounts, “about 150 members of different far-right organizations marched through the southern part of Leipzig. They included the neo-Nazi party Die Rechte (the Right), xenophobic organization Offensive für Deutschland (OfD) (Offensive for Germany), and a division of the PEGIDA movement called Thugida.”
Things apparently turned ugly when protestant pastor and youth worker Lothar Konig, 61, showed up with his "loudspeaker van."

On Saturday, the neo-Nazis had intended to march through Leipzig's alternative lifestyle district of Connewitz. But authorities refused them entry, citing safeguards needed for a pre-Christmas market and concert.
During the violence in Südvorstadt rubbish containers were set ablaze, a bus stop demolished and windows broken.
A police spokeswoman said masked persons in leftist ranks had attacked police "massively" during the rally by "a thousand violently-inclined leftist autonomists."
In the early hours of Saturday car tires and rubbish containers and the roof of a warehouse had been set on fire.
The Left party said one of its newly set up offices had been attacked by right-wing extremists, resulting in 5,000-euros worth of damage.
So apparently, the neo-Nazis weren't the root cause of the problem here although we're reasonably sure that the leftists would argue that any time neo-Nazis stage a march they're bound to cause trouble due simply to the fact that they identify which a movement that's had... how should we put this... a rather checkered history in Germany.

Elsewhere in Germany, anti-migrant sentiment is becoming readily observable. As Deutsche Welle goes on to report, "asylum seekers arriving at new container-style shelter in Saxony's town of Jahnsdorf were confronted by 30 people including six persons who threw stones and explosive crackers at their bus," on Thursday, the same day that the "children of refugee families were attacked by fellow school pupils in the town of Wurzen near Leipzig."
Because we couldn't imagine a more accurate way to describe the situation (and indeed we've been saying this for months), we'll simply close by quoting Aydan Özoguz, from the German government's commission for the integration of foreigners, who says he fears the country is descending into a "xenophobic abyss."

From May to July 1944 alone, at least 137 trains carrying 300K to 450K Jews entered Auschwitz. Documnts were offered to this effect, kept by the Nazi regime. This is not counting any other period, nor any of the other concentration camps.
He testified that most were killed immediately in the gas chambers. There is no explanation for where there went short of being killed.

Of those 403,713 a total of 73,137 died at Auschwitz. Of those 73,137 who died at Auschwitz, 38,031 were Jews.

You can click the link and learn about Oskar Groning's experiences at Auschwitz and his subsequent testimony, all of which, strongly affirms the Auschwitz extermination narrative.
Well, Groning is not alone. The Holocaust narrative has lots of ‘perpetrators’ who have nearly fallen over themselves to plead guilty with graphic statements and lurid confessions - all supporting the gas-chamber narrative. The trouble is, that the forensic, topographical, documentary, chemical, photographic etc. evidence, all contradict the narrative.
So what gives? Why would these perpetrators incriminate themselves?
Here are a few possible explanations:
1. The statements and confessions were tortured or threatened out of them – this certainly happened to the main perpetrator witness, Rudolph Hoess and many others. As background, you can research the treatment meted out to captured Nazis at the site of the concentration camps, in pre-Nuremberg interrogations and elsewhere.
2. Many probably agreed to what their interrogators wanted in order to gain a lighter sentence (I would have).
3. Because the story became so established, these alleged witnesses put together things they really had seen (I’m sure there were executions etc. at Auschwitz) and out of those (true) events created for themselves confirmation of the whole (false) extermination narrative. Loads of people will say things like “I saw the piles of bodies” or “I saw the piles of shoes”. Well, they probably did see those things and then, when confronted with the 'incontrovertible reality' of the extermination narrative, made what they had seen fit. We all do it and I'm sure there's some psychological term to describe the phenomenon.
Similarly, they may well have heard from others (the camps and elsewhere were buzzing with stories) who said they saw the gas-chambers. In fact, this has happened time and time again when, on the witness-stand, a ‘witness' to gassings is forced to admit (and maybe, realise) that they didn’t actually see it themselves but they had met someone who did. As we all know, any story is so much more engaging in the first person
4. Many captured Nazis may well have felt they might as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb. If you're going to hang anyway, there may well been something quite attractive about being hung for the greatest crime of all time. I think Eichmann, a notable loser, may have fallen into this category.
5. People love to be part of the crowd. This would have been true both in the immediate post-war climate and also in the present-day. This would be especially true in Germany where to worship the Holocaust is de riguer. But even here in the U.K., Holocaust worship has its perks. I’ve personally met loads of Jews who have made a career out of being a survivor. It's great: you’re feted wherever you go and, above all, people listen to you. Also, you can make quite a good living.
6. Some people just love Jews and are true Holocaust worshippers. Like so many people, they simply 'believed'.
In the case of this guy, I’d say that his testimony is a mixture of numbers 3, 5 and 6.

#3. There is a paper trail that corroborates the testimony. Groning was not only an eyewtness but "kept the books" including names of Jews (and others) and volumes. The camps irrefutably exist. They still exist today. The counts of people coming into the camps make it clear that the majority died. They would be no room otherwise.
$5. Why would anyone "just want to join and follow the crowd" and say that 100Ks of Jews were killed? This is ridiculous.
#6 If you "love the Jews" why would you ever join the SS? You wouldn't. After his experience he felt it his duty to convince others of his crimes.
At the end of WWII Jewish death squads murdered thousands if not tens of thousands of Nazis and even regular German soldiers.
Groning was one of the lucky ones as he agreed to "provide testimony." I don't know what your legal standard is, but many would call this "under duress".

During World War Two, these revenge squads were primarily made up of Jewish Allied soldiers. After the war Holocaust survivors also joined them. Among themselves, they were referred to as ‘Din’ squads – ‘din’ being the Hebrew for revenge. They operated in teams of three or four. Some were members of a formal unit established by Winston Churchill in 1944 called the “Jewish Brigade”.

6,000 men volunteered for this unit. It would appear that some from the Jewish Brigade were also members of ‘Din’ squads.

He was 90 years old + when he was in court, living in Germany, not in hiding. Other convicted SS guards admitted the same, some were unrepentant, most just considered it a shameful part of their life they had been hiding for obvious reasons. There were eyewitness accounts of survivors of the camps that corroborat as well. This finding were verified under the due process and the evidence for and against was admitted. this is the standard of proof.
Why would there be "revenge squards," which I neither affirm nor deny, if there was no revenge motive embodied in concentration camps? This is no excuse or ratonalization for what happened.
If you are going cite Groning as an example of an German insider confessing get your facts straight. Groning cooperated going back to 1946 and throughout his life not at 90. He managed to save his life, but now at 90 he is being legally prosecuted.
Groning only admitted to processing inmate property as a bookkeeper, not executions. He NEVER confessed to witnessing industrial scale killings at Auschwitz.
He was in court in his 90s. This doesn't preclude him from telling the truth prior to this.
His bookkeeping was the essential key in establishing the facts of names, incoming trains, and volumes of people. By his own admission, in court he said he was morally responsible for what happened at Auschwitz.
And Groning wrote the names of the dead jews into those volumes with a ballpoint pen.

You do know that Greece, apart from the mainland, is an archipelago, which is notoriously difficult to police and that Turkey is sending those people over, right?
