Actually, nmewn, if your ink-stained paper says "US" on it; expect it to be worth quite a bit in the near future.

Experts Suggest the CIA, Not Kim Jong-il, is Counterfeiting Dollars

Sources allege that the CIA prints the falsified ‘Supernotes’ at a secret facility near Washington to fund covert operations without Congressional oversight.

Absolutely! In canada you must pay tax on purchases of 22k coins - not so with 24k coins.

Side benefit of Maples:

As they are of Canadian origin, they can be legally transported into Canada without declaration at the border.

FWIW Krugerrands and Eagles are not at all desireable in most jurisdictions, as they are taxed as "manufactured goods" at sale or importation, rather than as bullion (a "raw material").

A 22 kt coin is easier to test. It "rings" for 2 or 3 seconds when struck, whereas a 24kt coin rings very short, and a tungsten-inside-gold-wrapped coin does not ring at all. A ring test combined with a density test like you can do with a Fish balance on a 22kt coin is (for now) unfalsifiable, and easily done at point-of-sale.

I suspect that sooner rather than later, we are going to witness some very newsworthy swings as those charts revert to the mean. I don't know what is going to break or when, but I think it will be fast and uncontrollable.

Keep in mind, boys and girls, that South Africa literally sits on a gold mine and by rights should have the stablest currency in Africa, if not the world.

Before the ANC/South African Communist Party took over, it was. The rand stood at ZARUSD=1.4 till 1982, and even after years of eeconomic warfare against free South Africa it remained above USDZAR=2.50 till 1989.

What we see now is par for the course when the printing press falls into the hands of black people. ANC South Africa is ZANU-PF "Zimbabwe" minus 15 years, so we can expect the rand to go the way of the "Zimbabwe" dollar in ten years, max, to be replaced with the USD---robbing white South Africans of what little say in their own destiny they still had. Rest assured Janet Yellen has scant interest in whether Afrikaners have a future in their own country even as tax-slaves.

A cynic is someone who sees the world as it is, not as it ought to be.

Wives kill their husbands all the time, to get the old man's money, to stop  him from dumping them in favour of someone better-looking and younger,  or simply because they're sick of his shit---really petty shit like farting in bed or not doing a good enough job of pretending to listen when they shite on about what some other bitch said to them at the supermarket.

So, guys, when that new (extended) Muslim family moves to your neighborhood, just have them over and be hospitable, for heaven's sake.  Just be real, real careful about what you might say, the food you might serve, the books on the coffee table, the pictures on your walls, and how your women-folk dress.   OK?

THE ONGOING TRAGEDY OF POST-APARTHEID SOUTH AFRICA

And with those racial preferences, coupled with de facto one-party rule, came the inevitable corruption. Plum government jobs were given to ANC insiders, irrespective of qualifications, and President Zuma recently spent $24 million of public money to add a pool and amphitheater to his private home. Nonetheless he was reelected to another five-year term in 2014. Think-tank theorist Leon Louw, who helped defeat apartheid, characterizes the crime and corruption in South Africa as “a simple manifestation of the breakdown of the state. The government is just appallingly bad at everything it does: education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, everything that is a government function is in shambles,” he adds.
