One of the differences between Christianity and Islam, as I see it, is that Christians are supposed to "give unto Ceasar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is God's", whereas Islam makes no such distinction between the world of the spirit and the world of the flesh. Thus, Islam, EVERYWHERE, becomes involved in political controversy because Islam is totalitarian in NATURE.
